Best Plumbing Services in North Carolina
I was very pleased with Mr Rooter and their staff. Not only did a real person answer the phone but she was able to send someone out to my home that same day. Once the plumber arrived he was very friendly and understood my concerns. HE told me the price to fix the leak in my shower before he did anything. Love the fact that there were no hidden fees for trip charges. The work was completed in one day and when he left there was no mess for me to clean up. I will use MR. Rooter again.

There is a very good reason I have been using these guys for decades. They are very good. I am grateful there's a water service company of this quality and reputation in my area.

I was stood up for my appointment not once, but twice in one week. No courtesy call on either day or even the day after. I am quite disappointed since this business is local to me and I was hoping to establish a good customer relationship with them.

We're fairly new to Eden, and we didn't know who we should call when we ran into our first plumbing emergency. We chose Dyer's based on reviews on other sites, and we weren't disappointed.
The Plumber they sent out knew what he was doing, and he was very kind and professional. He explained what was going on and gave us options of taking care of the problem.
We've called them for every issue, and they are always there for us-even when we had a pipe freeze and burst during the night last winter!

Over the past several months Advance Appliance was assigned by our home warranty company to come evaluate and fix our Jenn Air refrigerator that would not cool. After 3 visits over 5 months we are still without a working refrigerator. Each time they would come, identify a part that needed to be replaced, have us wait several weeks, and after a few days of operation the same problem would recur. Since refrigerator was exhibiting the same problem each time, the home warranty company would insist on sending the Advance Appliance out every single time. The THIRD time we had the same problem, they sent a more experienced expert to our home named Craig. He came and acted like the problem was obvious - and stated that a service bulletin was put out for our model refrigerator with this issue. This obviously begged the question as to what his company was doing the first two visits if his company RECEIVED A NOTICE about it. Craig even retrieved the bulletin from his vehicle and gave it to me when he visited which tells me the problem must not be that uncommon.
Well, it turns out our home warranty company wouldn't cover the part. Appliance's office staff would not tell us why, closed the case without any explanation, and left us with a broken refrigerator after nearly 5 months of drama. We called the office and insisted to ask Craig the tech what the problem was and where do we go from here. When we asked him what the next step was and offered to pay out of pocket to get a working fridge he was terribly rude and dismissive saying your guess is as good as mine and after a moment of continued questioning he said I'm done talking and hung up on us.
From what I can see, Advanced Appliance is scam of a company that seems to collect insurance money from home warranties only to misdiagnose and perform faulty work on appliances before moving on to the next customer. Stay away from them at all costs.

I have only ever complained on an online forum for this company on this issue. While everything started well, as you can see from the text exchange pics that are loaded under photos for this company, that what had started as a we can fix it with some fiber resin, even though it's not to code, turned into a we don't want out techs and their tools even touching your plumbing! What was simple fix, that was never even suggested as being something they wouldn't do, or shouldn't do (the fiber resin), became a courtesy though it never was said to be such, and then a we won't touch your plumbing, it's too bad. Their mode of interaction is either by text or message service over the phone. It is nearly impossible to speak to a person unless they call you. I posted on their Facebook page and they admitted that their initial tech made an incorrect diagnosis. I am all fine with unexpected changes, or when a job goes awry for reasons unforeseen, but this is not a case of that. They only became nasty when I called into question the seriousness with which they took the call. As the texts will show, she/he even had the audacity to try and distinguish between a drip and a leak claiming that the former is not the latter. I am pretty sure that a drip is a form of leak.

Folks, if you need an appliance installed, avoid Piedmont Installations! Zero stars is deserved! Floyd, the owner, was to replace a dishwasher drawer, and at the last minute sent someone else who had never installed one. He let me know that he had no idea how to do it and had his wife YouTube solutions. It didn't work, so Floyd came out the next day. He also couldn't get it to work and tried to tell me that a part on the new dishwasher was broken. Convenient Appliances came out and found that the broken part was from the old dishwasher and that an entire feature of the new dishwasher that was to replace it was never installed even though the directions were right on the door! It worked just fine once they figured out that they were trying to use a part from the old dishwasher. Biggest demonstration of incompetence I've ever witnessed from Piedmont Installations!
