Whether you need a complete repipe, or just a new washer in the faucet handle, we're right for the job! Established in 2003.
Our founder was always interested in working with people and enjoys a job that keeps him physically active. Plumbing was a natural combination of the mechanical skills and service abilities he excelled at. When the business expanded, he searched for and found like minded individuals. For all of our staff, our work and our customers matter!

I requested plumbing services through my home warranty company and Home Services promptly sent someone over to diagnose the problem. I was told that the fix requires approval from the warranty company. That was four weeks ago.

Since the initial visit, I've called the office several times. Each time the receptionist told me that they are waiting on the home warranty company, and someone will call me back soon with an update. However, I have yet to receive a call back.

I contacted my home warranty company to see if they were the slow-moving party. They responded to me the next day and said that they can't get a hold of anyone at the business, and have received no response to email messages.

As the business owner appears sensitive to negative reviews, I am hoping that this issue catches his attention.

Absolutely DO NOT use this business. My dealings with this business began on May 27, 2017. Today is August 24,2017 and my job is still not complete. It should have been a simple water heater replacement from a broken 50 gallon water tank to a tankless water heater. This business' inability to do the job is unbelievable. From not having all the materials to do the job to not having proper equipment to not being able to get other contractors needed to come out to not knowing the codes to pass village inspection and to not quoting the proper unit, this company is completely ridiculous. They are unreliable and they do not have the professional courtesy to communicate. Tonight I was told they would be coming to my home to complete the job anytime between 4pm - 6pm. The plumbers did not show up until 9:06pm. When they showed up, they did not have the piece to complete the job. The plumbers claimed that the office had communicated this lack of material to me. I showed them my communication throughout the day via text and email and not once was I told this job would not be completed. A complete waste of my time and the plumbers. The owners of this business should be ashamed of themselves and of their business practice. They should be shut down.

I called American Home Shield regarding my Water heater not giving hot water on Saturday June 15, 2019. I was given the company Home Services of the Triad. Absolutely DO NOT use this business. Was told They would be out on Monday the 17 of June when I contacted them, they all of a sudden did not have an appointment until Tuesday between 2-6 the guy finally showed up at 5:45 was there for less than 10 minutes and said he had the wrong part would have to order and I would get a call from them on Wednesday morning, received call saying tech did not send pictures of model number or serial number could I send them a copy and so I sent the pictures in within 10 minutes. I called them to verify they got pictures and was confirmed they received the pictures. I was told someone would call me back within the hour to set up the appointment to come out and repair the water heater. I did not receive a call back, I called the at 3:45 Wednesday afternoon and was told they were trying to locate the parts and that they were very busy and had 2 other customers without hot water and they would try to locate the parts and call me back. I told them I have been without hot water since Saturday and all they could say was I am sorry for that. Apparently they only have one technician and not a very good one at that. I am totally disgusted with this company and don't know how they are even still in business. Those people who give 4-5 stars must be relatives or work for the company. I have called American Home Shield and have told them I want someone else to come out but they tell me they can't do anything until Home Services of the Triad receive the part and deliver them to us. This really sucks and I am not a happy person with either of these companies. I would not recommend Home Services to the Triad to my worst enemy. They are unreliable and they do not have the professional courtesy to communicate. The owners of this business should be ashamed of themselves and of their business practice.

Very unprofessional !! Lack of customer service ! I got an appointment for 2pm-6pm on one day . At 4pm of the the of the appointment , I got a call stating the plumber can not come out to do the job at my house .I was rescheduled for the very next day for 2pm-6pm .AGAIN I got a call at 5pm of the day I was rescheduled for informing me the plumber can not come out do get the job done .
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!

I would leave less than one star if that were possible. Any company associated with American Home Shield is sub-par. They contract with crappy subcontractors who are negligent and/or otherwise inept. The plumber they sent to my home had to FACETIME with his office because he didn't know what he was doing. Long story short, he screwed up and left a mess. Now I have MOLD growing in my kitchen, the cabinet is rotting out and AMS says, oh well, not our fault--turn it in on your homeowners insurance.  Uhhh, NOPE! The BBB and Attorney's General are being flooded with complaints. BEWARE USING ANY COMPANY ASSOCIATES WITH SERVICE MASTER / AMERICAN HOME SHIELD. They use the cheapest, worst out there.

Worthless price gouging criminals misrepresenting themselves as service techs. My warranty sent them to fix my problem. The 1st guy showed up i explained to him that mmy well pump was bad. My neighbor and I had used a meter to check it and found it pulling high amps tripping the breaker. He never used a meter and said iit was the breaker but his boss was on his way. He arrived smelling as if he needed a shower and deodorant used a meter to check the wiring at the well found high amps tripping the breaker and made a phone call. During the call he asked the person when the would be available to pull the pump from the well it is 400 feet deep. I was told the next day after noon.  I asked why they didn't take care of the problem and he said we don't do that. I ask why they were sent and not someone who could fix the problem. They didn't know.  I paid them my warranty service fee and waited for a receipt and estimate of the cost and work to be fine and never recieved one.  Still haven't.  They also never scheduled a time frame that the other techswould show up. This all took a grand total of 15 minutes. I waited and waited called my warranty and they said they were waiting on a report from the techs to review so they could make a determination ad to the next step. The techs told me this would be done and submitted before they left. I called the tech and they told me they were waiting on the warranty company the report was submitted so I called them back they said no it wasn't. A big run around. The warranty put me on hold and called the company which was closed at 4pm but they talked with an answering service and while on hold I got a text from the tech who said the report was almost finished. So they lied. An hour or so later I get a text saying my non- covered cost would be  $2480 if I wanted the pressure switch replaced or $1980 if not. A pressure switch cost between $20 and $40. This is in addition to the $1500 the warranty company was liable for.  I promptly asked them what for they weren't digging me new well. They still haven't provided me with a detailed list of services. I told them not to show up. I had another company come out on the 4th of July holiday no service fee pull and replace the pump, pressure tank and switch in 2 hours for $1800 with a 5 year warranty. Home services of the triad should have never addressed to come out on a well pump issue they are not certified well contractor's which you are required by state law to be to touch a well.

My experience with Home Services of the Triad was a nightmare.  I'm not surprised all the other reviews on this site are also 1 star.  I had a natural gas leak and HSoT sent a tech, but he couldn't find the leak.  The next day HSoT said their master plumber would come between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  I waited until almost 6 p.m. and he never showed and never called to say he was running late.  I called the office around 1:45 and they said he was still coming, but they closed at 2 p.m. and I had no other way to communicate with them.  Apparently he came that night while I was at dinner, but he didn't call or leave a note, so I didn't know he was even here or whether he fixed the leak until the next day (he didn't find it).  Another day the same master plumber was supposed to come between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to perform a test Piedmont Natural Gas suggested to find the leak, and once again no one showed or called.  I found out later they had sent a message to my wife's email that he wasn't coming, that we didn't see until that night.  Why didn't they just call me since they knew I was at the house waiting all afternoon?  When I called the next day they said there was nothing more they could do, and I had to get someone else to fix the leak (the person who fixed it said it was very easy to find because it was a copper fitting that had turned solid black).  HSoT never apologized for making me wait or what we had to go through - we had no gas for over a week and it got down to the low 50s in the house.  We had to leave at night to have a warm place to sleep and take a hot shower.  This company has non-existent communications with customers and doesn't seem to care about helping them.  I called numerous times during the week we had no gas asking for help, and they wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor.

Poor experience. Unprofessional technicians. Technician informed consumer of one issue and input a different reason into the system causing confusion. Please find another servicer if you can.

I have only ever complained on an online forum for this company on this issue. While everything started well, as you can see from the text exchange pics that are loaded under photos for this company, that what had started as a we can fix it with some fiber resin, even though it's not to code, turned into a we don't want out techs and their tools even touching your plumbing! What was simple fix, that was never even suggested as being something they wouldn't do, or shouldn't do (the fiber resin), became a courtesy though it never was said to be such, and then a we won't touch your plumbing, it's too bad. Their mode of interaction is either by text or message service over the phone. It is nearly impossible to speak to a person unless they call you. I posted on their Facebook page and they admitted that their initial tech made an incorrect diagnosis. I am all fine with unexpected changes, or when a job goes awry for reasons unforeseen, but this is not a case of that. They only became nasty when I called into question the seriousness with which they took the call. As the texts will show, she/he even had the audacity to try and distinguish between a drip and a leak claiming that the former is not the latter. I am pretty sure that a drip is a form of leak.

I have a home warrenty with American Home Sheild. They contacted Services of the Triad to repair a bad leak in the kitchen sink drain. The service tech checked it and said the drain connection was lose. He tightened it then left. Less then 30 minutes later it was leaking again. When we called the Services of the Triad we were told we had to make another service request and pay another $75 for the tech to come back and try again to fix the drain
Update: After talking to American Home Sheild for over an hour, they checked the service report. He said while fixing one leak he found another leak, but since his work order said leak he fixed one leak, left the other. PLEASE NEVER USE HOME SERVICES OF THE TRAID!

This company does not even deserves a one star since they are scam artist. Home Services of the Triad was dispatched to my house by American Home Shield for an issue regarding my sump pump. Without notification, they failed to show up to two scheduled appointments then randomly showed up one day. The technician (the manager) and his wife spent a whopping seven minutes at my house. They initially told me on a recorded call that the issue was a bad sump pump and it needed to be replaced. Next thing they changed their diagnosis when AHS asked them to a bad sewer injector pump due to negligence. When my husband called to ask them about this discrepancy the manager said Because your wife is a b****. I subsequently had another plumber come out to evaluate the issue and they, in writing, said it was not due to negligence, had nothing to do with my sewer injector pump but instead was a small issue stemming from the mechanical float switch. I have contacted the state Licensing Board for General Contractors to file a formal complaint and the Attorney General's office.

if i could give them zero stars I would. DO NOT under any circumstances use this company. They were contacted thru my home warranty service to fix a shower that was not draining. instead of looking at the plumbing under the house, they made a huge hole in my bathroom wall and did not fix the hole.the cost was 538.00 and  the shower still did not drain. I contacted them and they sent another plumber that went under the house as they should have the first time and advised me that the issue would cost  700 dollars to fix which is what i paid them for the first time. i told them i would not pay them any more money because they sould have done this the first time. i am not a plumber thats why i hired them. I disputed the charge and was given 358.00 back which i was ok with that.  I had to get another company to fix the issue and they did with no problems. months later home services of the triad sent me a nasty email demanding over 900.00. i plan on contacting BBB and consumer affairs and anyone else I can contact to expose this company.

We had a stopped up tub and a leak, so we called our warranty company, who set up a call with Home Services of the Triad - this was Sunday morning at 10:15 am.  HSA told us that HST would call us soon.  After several hours of not hearing anything I called HST directly.  Answering service took a message - well, let's just say that after 4 calls to HSA and 3 calls to HST, I never heard anything from them until I received a text at 10:15PM!!!!!  Said they will be at my house between 10am and 2pm the next day.
Well, the guy came and when we showed him the leak, he immediately told my husband that the trap was installed incorrectly and that our warranty will not cover it.  My husband asked him to just fix the leak then, because the leak clearly had nothing to do with the incorrect installation of the trap - long story short - he refused to do any of the work if we would not pay him extra to fix the trap.  He told my husband that he was only going to make $45 for the call so he wanted to make it worth his while and make more money on the trip.  
Husband told him to leave.  I called HSA and asked for another plumber to come out.  Drain Openers Plus came out.  Fixed the leak in a matter of minutes, and made a suggestion on how to clear the clog with the improperly installed trap.  Issues fixed, but had to go without our only shower/tub for basically 3 days because these characters wanted to act shady - no response to phone calls, milking people for more money - seems like the reviews indicate we are not the only ones they have done this to!
Stay away from this guys as they will find something wrong and charge you more than what is necessary!

This company is a scam and their employees are liars and are incompetent. They were sent by my warranty company several times and they do not follow up with a diagnosis, they took pictures and video of my rusting water  yet lied on the report to the warranty company and said that my water heater was fine.. They told me they would send the videos to the warranty company but did not. They are only interested in collecting the service fees provided by the warranty company and not actually doing a good job. They have overcharged me for extra services in the past to repair this same water heater that I am still having problems with. Please do yourself a favor and find someone else unless you like shelling out hundreds of dollars with no results.
