John C. and his partner came out and installed a very complicated ceiling fan and a kitchen light fixture. I have a habit of buying fixtures that are beautiful in design, but complicated to install. These guys were awesome. I'm not accustomed to electricians being so friendly and customer service oriented. Great job guys!

Super team and they are skilled, smart and do it right the first time. Not to mention reasonably priced and nice!

I could tell you stories about the problems I had getting an electrician to do our work but instead I'll tell you about the one that called me back, who was honest, who worked me into his very busy schedule, and who did a fantastic job in an efficient manner, and that would be these guys. I actually called them by accident because they had a similar name to someone else a friend recommended (who ended up failing to show and then crickets) and I am glad I did. They did a fantastic job. They charge by the hour, and you know that price upfront. They can also give you a general idea of the hours it will take based on the work you need to have done. I was very pleased and highly recommended them.

I have had Nathan from Douthit Electrical in my home today to install a ceiling fan for me. Nathan had on a clean/properly marked uniform. He was very friendly and knowledgable about his work. He did a great job. I will be letting other people know about Douthit Electrical as well as using them again.

So I convinced the owner Brad to register this business for yelp, because Charlotte needs to know how good he and his team really are. He came highly recommended on Next Door and for good reason. Called him for an estimate, first impression... they kicked their shoes off at the door, looked at the switch that needed to be fixed and fixed it on the spot! (Read as in: no waiting until next week, and no unprofessional trips back and forth to Home Depot, he had the tools and supplies he needs to do his job). I had originally called Foster's to add some canned lighting, a new outlet in my kitchen, and an outlet under the counter for a garbage disposal. They did an amazing job! Really tidy, as in when one guy cut the plaster another stood there with a vacuum getting all the dust. Covered all of the furniture, disposed of all the trash. Brad also made sure to update the list of breaker switches in the electrical box. I could not be happier with the improvements. Really great prices for the caliber of work that you receive. Super easy to communicate with and his email invoicing is very convenient.

I can't speak highly enough of Jimmy Estep and the quality of his work. I met him years ago on a job site (I was a carpentry contractor for 25 years) and was impressed by the quality and professionalism I saw. As a result I had Jimmy do two wiring jobs on my personal home. Again, the quality of work was second to none. If you need any electrical work done you can't go wrong with Estep Electric LLC.

Called to get a free estimate, as their website showed that's what they offer. When trying to schedule, they said the dispatch fee is $49 to come out for the estimate. Sorry, but that's not how free estimates work. They tried to refute that their website doesn't say anything about free estimates, but I sent this screen shot to them and they still denied it. I Won't be doing business with them.

For the past two years I've been working at Pike Energy Solutions as an electrical engineer for the distribution department. I must say it sure has been one of the most rewarding Engineering Jobs ever! Especially when I got go work in Tanzania Africa for 2 months last year. That truly was an awesome experience.
The our current corporate center is quite nice and well maintained for the most part. The location is very convenient considering its close proximity to WT Harris and hwy 85, which makes commuting to and from work relatively pain free (except heading north bound on 85 in the afternoons).
So yeah, I'm a fan!

Again Celsius Apartments continue to use these people who come in trash your apartment, leaving lights, and doors unlock. I don't know who in their right mind would think this is ok. I'm sick of apologies and nothing being done about it. Same story. I work 7p-7a so of course I'm dead tired and hear them when they came in that morning. I wake up at 4:30pm with all my lights on, door unlock, and debris all over the kitchen counter and floor. If this is how you treat your own home I'm embarrassed for you!!! Last time they left all my groceries to melt on the counter while switching out a refrigerator, lights left on, and my door unlocked. I received what I thought was a sincere apology and a $100 gift card for my groceries that was left out. I'm sure it was way under what I paid for the amount of food in my fridge. The whole situation is disturbing and disrespectful on all their part. Celsius knew they've done this before and still uses them and allow them to do what they want!!

I contacted the office about the ordeal I had with the electrician that came out. I spoke with Valerie. I explained what happened and that I had to actually call another service who put in a new breaker box. Valerie called me today to say there would be no charge on my credit card. She apologized for the service we didn't receive. I am happy with the outcome and really appreciate Douthit Electric refunding me my money back. Good customer service!

Allan was friendly and seemed to understand my project. He was unable to make our first meeting but contacted me to let me know that he needed to reschedule and arrived in the time frame we had agreed upon. He smelled a bit smokey/earthy but he wasn't in the house very long and I don't care what he does on his own time.
He provided a rough estimate for the project and then notified me that his estimates aren't free and that I would need to pay $85 for the 10 minutes he had spent. I mentioned that, in the future, he may want to tell people that there is a charge for the estimate before coming out. I felt a little scammed but I dismissed it as an oversight and provided him with my bank card. He told me he wasn't able to take cards and that I would need to use CashApp to pay him the $85. I told him I don't have CashApp and he would need to have his office call me and I would provide them with the details so he could get his estimation fee.
At this point, the conversation broke down. He felt that trying to intimidate me by getting right up in my face was a good first choice. It wasn't particularly intimidating, but it was highly unprofessional. He kept trying to hint that I would have real problems if I didn't immediately leave my house (I'm a 24/7 caregiver for my mother with dementia and would never just leave with a stranger in the house) to get him money out of the ATM and then refused to leave without payment. He took my picture and told me he was going to dox me on blast on FB before I had to tell him that if he didn't leave the premises I would call the police.
I know starting a business is hard, particularly when you are so young. Telling people that estimates aren't free is a required first step. Also, here is a link to a free card reader I recommend you order so the next time you get a chance to get paid you have the proper equipment to do business: squareup.com/us/en/hardw…
I hope the next time I call on you for a project you've got things a bit more figured out.
