So far, my service has been superb.  Purchasing a 20 year old home, I knew updates would be required for fixtures and adding electrical hardware in certain areas.  Brian has been my technician since day one.  For almost 3 months, he has been curteous and consistent, provides excellent customer service, detailed explaining the work, and knowledgeable in his recommendations with respect to my plans during every visit.  He has been to my home twice per month to see my plans to fruition. Brian is always punctual, most times arriving earlier than the scheduled visit.  He calls with an eta despite the automated system's notifications. Being a thorough professional, Brian checks his work, demonstrating the process, outcome, and functions during every job.  

As a new Mr. Electric customer, I am pleased thus far with the overall level of service provided.  The Gold-Standard is evident in pricing, guarantee, warranty, knowledge, and customer service.  I highly recommend joining the Advantage Plan to capture incitives with Mr. Electric and partners in the Neighborly network.

Called to get a free estimate, as their website showed that's what they offer. When trying to schedule, they said the dispatch fee is $49 to come out for the estimate. Sorry, but that's not how free estimates work. They tried to refute that their website doesn't say anything about free estimates, but I sent this screen shot to them and they still denied it. I Won't be doing business with them.

Theo was awesome. On time and did a great job putting up an affordable light at our Kannapolis webuyanycar branch. Even though we had a tight budget he still exceeded expectations. Highly recommend him for your electrical needs.

My second time using Mr. Electric. First time was a few years ago and they replaced some security lights. This time I had a heavy light fixture come loose from the ceiling and I wanted a small ceiling fan installed. No issues setting the appointment, Tech arrived on time. The office did say they would send a picture of the tech, but I never received that.

I was told the ceiling fan could not be installed without reinforcing the joists in the attic, since the area in the attic is hard to access I chose forgo that and planned on purchasing a light fixture instead. He took down the old light and reattached the electrical box and I was only charged for the visit. No issues. Tech was pleasant. I thought the price to install the ceiling fan was a bit excessive, so it was probably a blessing anyway.

Fast forward a couple weeks when my purchased light arrives and I find I cannot install the light because one of the screws that will hold my next fixture has not been removed but cut off at the bracket. I partially blame myself for not double checking the work but the room was dark and it was late in the evening and I do not know if I would have noticed it anyway.

I am not sure if I would use them again, One good experience, one so-so.

Our realtor set us up with Mr. Electric after our inspection of the house when we were in the buying process. They told us we had to replace our entire subpanel and main control panel (which was extremely expensive) before they could do any other work on the house or get the power working in our garage. The electrician we ended up going with (Bill) was able to get the power to our garage working within 20 minutes of being at our house on his initial visit...

Our electrician did a TON of work in our house getting us up to code and livable (3 fan boxes, replacing ALL of our switches/receptacles, appliance tombstones, grounding panel, adding smoke detectors, replacing breakers, adding lots of recessed lighting, moving wiring into new walls, and so much more) and it was still less than what Mr. Electric quoted us to do two things. Very very overpriced.

I've used Mr. Electric several time. Each visit very competent electricians were dispatched, the work was completed to my satisfaction, and the price was reasonable.  Will be using this company again for electrical work.

Been meaning to write this review for quite some time.  Have used Mr. Electric 3 times over the last 3 years and the same electrician, Jeff Hughes.  Great guy, great electrician.  Doesn't oversell, gets the job done quickly and correctly.  Nothing but good things to say.

First and foremost - Jeannette is the most ignorant RUDE and disrespectful woman in ALL of Charlotte.  I received the info for this company from Home Advisor and it gave a FREE quote and confirmed the price of less than $400.  When the electrician came and said it was NO way he could do anything for that price, he explained that one light on a really high ceiling would be at least $600.  I showed him my quote and the FREE quote info on my phone. He said he could not honor it. I politely sent him on his way. THIS MAN NEVER MADE IT PASS MY FOYER.  Fast forward, I just received a call from Jeanette hollering at me in the most ignorant, aggressive and demanding tone.  She called me the manipulator for trusting their advertisement?!?!  Really?!?!?  This is how you conduct business?!?!? You think you are a professional?!?! You are an embarrassment to this company!!! You want me to pay for a FREE quote to for this bogus quote?? After you spoke to me like you forgot your medication?!?!  Thank you Miss Congeniality (JOKE she IS NOT!!) I am going to make it my duty to let everyone that I know, DO NOT  trust or work with this companies level of ignorance at all.  Jeanette- Learn how to speak to people. You get bears with honey, you could have chosen to give me a discount and I would have at least had him hang one of the three based on your customer service but that DOESNT EXiST within you, you chose to berate me the could have been customer.....but no Jeanette you served shit so you got hung up on.  I'm emailing your corporate office next. I have the time today. I NO longer have anything scheduled.

Horrible customer service. I missed our first appointment because I was feeling sick.  I rescheduled with them and apologized (offering to pay the service call fee because I needed to reschedule). They set me up a new appointment, over a week later, and when I called to ask where they were the day of the new appointment they called me back and told me they changed their mind and decided not to come out. Thanks for nothing. I'm glad I didn't give you any of my money.

Great service. I had a faulty light, they came back and replaced it no charge. Derrick even went to lowes to buy the replacement! A little pricey, but they stand behind their work!
