We were totally out of air conditioning yesterday! We decided we'd go back to Bradham brothers for service. We had bought a new unit less than 2 years ago; however there may be a leak someplace. Just so happens this is the same day our auto is in for repairs. Condenser broke so no air anywhere. Money, money, money but you gotta have air. Since Covid we let thing go somewhat! I wish I was still working so we wouldn't have to worry about how much it costs to get repairs. I highly recommend Bradham brothers though as we've used them for over 20 years. They're good folks and treat you right.
Unit starting blowing hot air. Called up on a Friday at 10 am and Chris was at my house within 2 hours. He diagnosed the issue and replaced the part quickly, offered solutions to make the system more efficient. Even offered to find the small leak in the system so the expensive Freon wouldn't leak out, explaining the cost of this would be less than the top off of Freon. Chris knows the HVAC systems inside and out and was able to offer helpful suggestions.
Professional, quick, and honest I can't recommend these guys enough. 5/5 Stars.
From the first time they beat everyone's quotes for a new heat pump to the time they replaced my buildings systems to the time they figured out another vendor's error, Bradham Brothers has been there for me. I shudder at the price of the annual contract but it's a small price to pay for peace of mind.
Bradham Brothers reviewed my complaint and corrected their mistake honorably.

I contacted this company to come out and quote replacing my AC unit. The service person, Gus, arrived on time, but that was the extent of the positive experience. He was not friendly, barely spent 5 minutes looking at my existing air handler inside, looked at the outside unit (not even sure if he measured) and then went to his truck to create an estimate. He then returned with a folder and handed it to me and as I glanced at it, I asked him if he had done a load calculation (since I knew the existing unit was way oversized for the home). he looked at me like I had 4 heads and said, no, but I can. Then I asked, how he would know what sized unit to quote if he hadn't done the calculations? he just looked at me and I further asked, wouldn't changing the size of the unit change the overall cost? he simply said, possibly. I handed the information back to him and sent him on his way. I have zero confidence in this company if they are quoting without doing any due dilligence on what is needed. I called this company because there were so many good reviews. unfortunately, this was not my experience.

Found our HVAC team!
We're renovating in Riverpointe and had Bradham Bros run a new line set to let us open a wall. Ran into trouble with the furnace line (as happens), but the BB team went above & beyond the call to solve it. They won our heart with their responsiveness and for not doing what other might - i.e. take advantage & gouge. The team worked with us and had it solved within 48hrs. A perfect experience with a well run company!

First, I'd like to clarify that I did not use them for repairs (ended up that my home warranty covers the issue, and they choose the provider). I also did NOT get a 2nd opinion, so I cannot give a fully-supported review; however, I did want to share my thoughts.
I did appreciate the kind staff and effort they made to get to my house quickly (I called because our AC unit stopped working). They forewarned me that there would be a $89 fee simply for coming out. I don't know if this is standard, but assuming it may be.
The tech was at my house within a few hours (again, I much appreciated how quickly they responded). He reviewed the unit and within 10 minutes told me the compressor had gone bad, that it would be around $2500-3000 to fix. Before leaving, he did get me an exact amount (right below $2900). What bothers me is that while they emailed me the estimate, it was NOT itemized. The office also confirms that they only use a flat fee that comes from a book. I personally wouldn't want this type of work done without an itemized bill.
According to charlottehvacguide.com/g…, this type of work should run about $550-1600 to replace. Because Bradham doesn't itemize, you can't see why there's such a discrepancy. Again, I didn't get a 2nd opinion (yet), so that may be spot on and the website referenced may be wrong. But how would I know?!
I did have a hard time dealing with the $95 I spent for 10 minutes of AC review. They did forewarn me, but gosh, that felt bad forking that over.
I don't think I'd recommend them. That's probably not fair considering I didn't give them a chance to do the work, but as soon as someone wants to charge me that much money to fix something WITHOUT itemizing, I just have issues.

We had a small accident while changing out an air filter on July 4. Four calls to various companies and no one would come out on a holiday. Bradham Brothers came out within an hour and Chester fixed our issue, serviced our 5 year old system and gave us a Veterans discount on top of that. Fast. Friendly. Effective.

Awesome service. My AC unit was broken and they were able to get a technician out to me about 2 hours after I initially called. Receptionist was pleasant. Technician (Elijah) was knowledge and professional. Trustworthy, didn't overcharge me or try to find more wrong than there was. I would highly recommend. Great experience!
I needed a new air conditioner and air handler, and I wanted a second opinion to compare against a company I have been using for 15 years. My wife suggested I try Bradham Brothers because she has seen their trucks advertising that they have been in business since 1975, and I also went on your website to look at the positive reviews. Not only were they less money, and Randy's presentation and explanations were extremely professional, my original company never followed up. The installation went extremely well, everyone followed up, the office staff has been very accommodating, and a serviceman just left who was wonderful. I strongly recommend that anyone who needs a heating and air conditioning company call Bradham Brothers.

I've only had to use Bradham Brothers twice in eight years (thankfully), but both times they've been prompt and courteous and charged me less than I expected. The latest time I called on a Monday morning and asked them to come the following day. They put me down for the morning and called beforehand to tell me they were on their way.
My A/C was coming on but not blowing cool air, and they fixed it for $230 - no muss, no fuss, no up-sell. As a single female with no knowledge of HVAC units, it's comforting (and rare) to have a reliable company you can trust not to jerk you around. I can't recommend them highly enough!
Thought we had already decided who would be replacing our HVAC system when a friend urged me to get a quote from BB. They've been in business here 40 years.
Salesperson, Randy, was unpretentious, prepared and answered every question. He printed 3 detailed, complete quotes on the spot, pointing out the differences and benefits of each. He explained the Trane equipment, service agreements, warranties and what to expect.
It became clear that BB was the company we would choose. Paid more than another quote, but got better system for our home. In addition, contractor inspection failure rate (for county inspections) was the lowest of all companies we contacted. Basically, they do it right the first time.
Four stars only because their scheduled hours weren't as convenient for us.

Bradham Brothers has installed a complete unit at a previous house with the utmost professionalism and their pricing was the most competitive. We also need electrical upgrade that they arranged and handled. In a new house I recently bought the heat went out and we asked another company at was close to our house to come out to try and support local business but they charged $90 to walk 700 feet and gave us a quote almost $1,000 more. So glad we have worked with and know Bradham Brothers. Thank you for your professionalism and competitiveness. You rock!
Best HVAC outfit in the area. Prompt, honest, reasonable, trustworthy and knowledgeable. Losing AC is a very stressful experience, they are always there to make sure it is as painless as possible. I'm a customer for life.

Really bummed. Received a reference for Bradham Brothers from a neighbor. I am getting estimates for a new AC unit. When they heard my address they asked if I had a condo. It isn't a condo, but I am in uptown. However we have ample on street parking. The lady asked if I had a driveway and we do, but it is in the back...no where near the AC unit. She proceeded to tell me that they don't work in uptown. So on to the next company. Too bad. Lots of new homes being built around town. Lost business on their part.

We had a entire new system installed this summer. I was impressed with the guy that gave me the quote (he was knowledgable and very nice). Their price was comparable with another quote I received, and well below another quote I got from a big name company. The crew was nice and very professional and got the job done in the time frame they quoted. I got a quality system that should last me for a long time. The inspector that came out commented on how good Bradham's reputation is. Overall I'm very happy with them and would recommend them.

Bradham Brothers had done work several years ago for a neighbor who recommended them. Then, much to my surprise, a client came into my office, noticed a card I had from them, and recommended them highly based on years of experience with his family and company. I called asking for a quote to replace the entire HVAC system - duct work and everything.
The quote was a lot of money - not necessarily high, but a lot of money. Randy, the salesperson, worked with us and with the owners to find ways to bring the quote down. The biggest way was the timing of the installation. Crossing fingers and nursing the old system along, we reached the time for the installation, and the revised quote showed the savings Randy had told us we might expect.
The system was installed efficiently and the installers and project manager were thorough with their work and friendly while on the job - a great crew (Jason, Mike, Dakota, Rick). The final inspection was a breeze, and we're up and running. We're up and running and couldn't be happier with the way this project was handled.
When we needed a new heating/cooling system we invited three companies for estimates. Bradham was the only honest estimate - not overselling a more expensive product, but what we needed for the size of our home and existing ductwork. With the semi - annual service inspections, it continues to perform as promised. All staff have been helpful and extremely friendly, so I will continue to recommend Branham Brothers.

My relationship with Bradham Brothers began two years ago when my recently purchased home's Central Air unit (more than 15 years old) stopped working in the middle of summer. An HVAC tech (Bill Eastridge) came highly recommended by friends. Bill helped me bandaid the unit and suggested I call Rodney Bradham.
After receiving estimates of nearly double (Morris-Jenkins), Rodney Bradham arrived and spent considerable time understanding my needs, and educating me on my options. He was honest, friendly, and professional. Upon calling him to confirm my decision to purchase a new Trane unit from Bradham Bros., Rodney immediately sent a team over to top off the coolant in my failing unit, at no charge to me!
That level of service has remained consistent throughout our relationship. The team is timely, flexible, and professional. The complimentary annual service is a nice touch, and when there was a tear in my ducts this winter, Bradham Bros. arrived within hours. Many other companies would charge an additional fee for such expedited emergency service, but the total cost was a laughable ~$120.
Having relocated to Charlotte from the Northeast, I've found it painful to attempt to source honest, reliable, and affordable contractors to replace those relationships I established back home. When in need of an HVAC team, Bradham Brothers made the process seamless.
It would be a wonder to find a similar team in each of the other trades.

I'm always a firm believer in using businesses that have proven they can stand the test of time. Bradham Brothers has been around for nearly 30 years and has a great reputation. That means a lot to me, so I call them whenever I need service on the HVAC units at my business and home. They have always been very prompt in responding to our calls, which is important since a call to them usually means we are about to be very cold or very hot since our system has failed! I'm spoiled and used to 70 degrees year round. Bradham makes sure I'm always comfortable.
The office staff and the technicians are always friendly and efficient. Good old southern hospitality at work! We will definitely use them again.

We had used them last summer to check in on our a/c . They had came out in May 2016, something ended up cutting out on it so they came back out charged us ANOTHER $95 for another diagnosis and it was something they should have caught the first go around. So $400 has been spent just for a compositor. We thought that was just a one time deal because my grandparents had used them before and they seemed to do a good job that time. So, comes May 2017 this year used them again paid $95 just for a diagnostics check and they never found anything substantial, then yesterday my a/c went out again. We called them because we wanted to find out exactly what is wrong this time and they came out charged another $95 just for coming out and they found out it needed a booster for my compressor which cost $200 and they needed to put freon in which should have been done when they came out in May. So this bill was another $425. It's almost a $1000 which probably could have been handled a lot differently. ITS LIKE YOU'RE ALWAYS SPINNING TIRES WIT THIS COMPANY. The tech was kind of rude also in how he talked and acted. For example walked into the house and tracked MUD through the house, like come on.
I have lived in the area for 13 years and this is the Best heating and air outfit in Charlotte. Period. Their prices are reasonable and they care to get the job done right. Awesome. Can't say enough good things about these guys.
Bradham Brothers recently replaced our home air conditioning compressor and gas furnace. It was a first class job by first class people from the first call to the last contact.

They do good work but be aware that they do charge extra for weekend and afterhour calls.One of the sites I looked at said they had no extra charge for afterhour calls(like many now offer)but their rate is $30 more for the trip and higher rates for the repair.Just FYI
