Received several quotes to run a gas line for an outdoor kitchen, and Alex at Motherroad was by far the most thorough. Took the time to explain way more than I'd ever thought I'd know about gas lines, which really helped me feel like I was making the right decision. The work was top-notch. You can tell he really takes pride in what he does. Glad I went with him over cheaper options that would've left my grill (and house) starved for BTUs (city inspector confirmed).

Back in May of 2021, my husband and I made a successful offer on a house with very low water pressure. Low, as in a trickle from every faucet. The seller's agent said they would take care of it. They never did. My agent was coordinating with the city and a plumber. City said it was the plumber's responsibility, but the plumber said it was the city's responsibility. Shortly before we were due to move in, the problem still existed.
So, I took it upon myself to do some research and found All-Out Plumbing. Ron, the owner, checked it out and said he found a broken valve under one of the bathroom sinks, so it would be a simple fix. However, when his employee, Thomas, came to do the work and checked it out, he discovered that the valve wasn't the problem. At first, Thomas didn't think the house had a pressure release valve. But after some literal digging, he found it. It had been buried, which I was told should never be done with a PRV. It turns out the house used to have bad polybutylene pipes which had been replaced, and the PRV was there to keep those pipes from bursting. So, Thomas removed the PRV and reconnected the pipes. Now the water is flowing at a strong, steady rate. The total cost was $377, which I think is quite reasonable.
The original plumber obviously never thought to check underground for the PRV. Major kudos to All-Out and especially Thomas for thinking outside the box!...(and under the ground.)

I was extremely lucky to be referred to Eli at ER Water Services when my water wouldn't turn on. Eli came out to our home at 9pm to check our well, and unfortunately our well pump needed to be replaced. That next morning Eli found us a pump and went out of his way to pick everything up, which was over 200 mi round trip. They came back that night and replaced our pump and our water was back up and running by 10 o'clock. Eli mentioned that he comes from 3 generations of water technicians and how fast and efficient they worked proves his credentials. Moreover, they were courteous, kind, and affordable, making a desperate situation easier to handle. I highly recommend ER Water Services for anyone needing fast reliable 24hr services. Thanks so much!

I changed my extremely positive review after being overcharged for a simple job.

When our hot water heater suddenly broke down we initially contacted a few of the bigger plumbing services in Albuquerque. We also contacted Lowe's about buying a new water heater from them that their contractor would install.
Long story short: we couldn't believe how expensive the quotes were - especially when it came to bringing everything up to code (our old water heater was installed before the latest codes, and when we purchased our home in 2016 our home inspector never mentioned any code issues with it .)
One company that came out to give us a quote added an extra $1200 just to bring everything up to code. A project we expected to cost about $1500-$2000 quickly grew to nearly double that amount.
In frustration I posted the job on Home Advisor one evening... and in about one minute I got a call from Rick at R&R. What impressed me right away was: he completely understood what we needed, he agreed with me that some companies were overcharging, and he said he'd come over and look at the job the next day.
And he did just that. His quote was thorough and fair, and we were happy to hire him. He returned with a second plumber and they worked quickly and efficiently to deliver and install a new water heater and make sure it was up to code.
It was truly a pleasure to work with R&R - we plan to use them for all our plumbing needs in the future. It's wonderful to work with a professional who not only knows what to do but also cares about tailoring the project to work for the customer. THANK YOU R&R

Just found out an elderly woman in desperate need of a stopped up sewer pipe (only bathroom and sink) and a broken air conditioner (90 degree heat) in Albuquerque dealt with the owner. He was two hours late so he could charge the after hour rate. Didn't look at the drain. Didn't fix the air conditioner and charged her $150 for an estimate for a new air conditioner. What a horrible way to take advantage and pressure an elderly woman in need.

I have used Pro Plumbing for my apartment needs and my home plumbing needs for the last 4 years. They always come at the appointed time and fix the problem, or problems professionally. My home water heater gsve out last year and they came immediately to install a new one. We also discussed putting in a tankless system, but it was not recommended for my situation. I thank them for their honesty, because it could have been an expensive proposition.
They have worked on all of my rental properties and i have been thrilled at their professionalism.

I have used them several times for standard furnace and swamp cooler set-up, but they keep getting less and less reliable so I'm cutting them loose. At least 5 times, they have not shown up for appointments and when I call it's either they didn't have my correct phone number and so didn't come when no one answered, showed up at the wrong address (and never bothered to call), or just forgot about the appointment completely. They recently did some major work on our house and were supposed to come by the next day to collect payment and go over everything they did / test everything. They not only never showed up, but never called. It's now three days later and I still haven't heard anything from them. I'm sure when we go to do the walk-through, they will also have forgotten to do one of the repairs they said they would do. Stunning lack of professionalism and follow-through.

I called them to switch out my swamp cooler and to get a quote to switch to central heat and air. They quoted me somewhere around 167 dollars for the switchover but told me nothing about a trip charge.
The tech that came out to service my swamp cooler called the office after I complained about the charge, but whoever he talked to refused to remove it. The tech said I could call their office to dispute the charge but I did not want to deal with more aggravation at that point although I was upset over the charge.
I later received a call from someone in their office to set up an appointment for the estimate for the switch and I told her I was no longer interested because of the trip charge they snuck into my bill, she was very apologetic and assured me a refund. After not seeing my refund processed, I called them back and the lady I talked to said it would take 2 weeks, so I wonder if they are going to give it back. They were very quick to take it.
I sought to speak to someone about the status of my refund first, by calling management (one of their options), but the call went directly to voicemail. I then called the service center and after putting me on hold the lady I talked to then told me she had spoken to someone in management, and told me they would expedite the refund. Also, the tech that was coming today for the estimate never bothered showing up.
2 week waiting time for a refund for something they incorrectly charged me for is unacceptable. I would not recommend them for the above experience. Horrible!

Comfort Solutions was responsible for installing all the plumbing work in my new house. It ranged from laying out the initial plumbing and natural gas rough in to putting in all the fixtures, installing the water heater, the central water filter and the water softener.
Comfort Solutions did not follow the construction plan in laying out the plumbing routes, some of the faucet locations were installed wrong and had to be corrected. During the plumbing fixture installation phase, they did not flush the lines properly resulting in clogged water lines, requiring subsequent warranty repairs to change out faucet parts. They were not good in following up what they said they would do, I had to follow up with the faucet manufacturer to obtain repair parts. I wound up replacing some parts myself instead of calling them back to complete the warranty work.

mike was supposed to try to fix my error code 10 my water heater beeping all the time, they could not fix it and told us we should just install a brand new tankless water heater, so we paid them $3700 or so to have one installed only to find out within a few hours of it running the same beeping problem started again, so we called the back out and after being ignored several times and not returning our several calls they finally came out and were supposed to do research on it and never got back to us again, finally mike the owner told us on 2 separate occasions they were going to come back to try to fit the issue and both times they never called us nor came out. very bad customer service, we do not recommend them at all so now we are in the process of taking them to court to get our hard earned money back.

Big M does a good plumbing job, but Big M's charges seem either excessive or inconsistent. In my experience, Big M's minimum charge has varied drastically; I live in a rural area, and while the company's charge the first time was reasonable, the second time it wanted to be paid for work time, travel time, plus two-and-half hours which was neither for travel or work. Another time I was told simply that there was just a two-hour minimum charge. A further problem: though while at my residence the Big M plumbers were cordial, they have proven gruff or inaccessible otherwise--as, for example, when I've phoned their office with a question. I am disappointed and baffled.

Contacted Keen Plumbing January 27, 2023 to have a water tank installed.
We were told it would take 5-6 days to complete the job.
We agreed on a price and the install was to begin January 30,2023.
Jeremy Keen (owner) did have install approved by the necessary county inspectors on the first day.
January 31 Jeremy hired a backhoe operator who had just gotten his backhoe the previous week and ours was the first big job. The backhoe operator ran into my tree and knocked down a large limb onto the neighbor's fence causing quite a bit of damage, saying the limb was decayed. No decay could be found on the tree.
February 1 Jeremy was to arrive by 10:30 AM he did not arrive until 4 PM spending a little time on the whole for the tank.
February 2 we were told the tank would be set up and pumping water into the house. Jeremy did not come but the tank was delivered and filled.
February 3 Jeremy did not arrive until 1 PM and he requested a downpayment to purchase supplies which we provided. The pump was not installed.
February 4 Jeremy again did not arrive until 1 PM requested another downpayment to pay an employee which we provided. The pump was finally setup around 8 PM.
February 5 Jeremy arrived late filled some dirt around the tank and requested another downpayment.
February 6 Jeremy came late in the afternoon stating he completed the job and was coming back the next day to repair the neighbor's damaged fence and have the work inspected.
Jeremy never returned until February 23rd and only because we had no water. He came for a few minutes. Prior to his arrival we discovered he had never switched the circuit breaker to allow water to be pumped from our well. He promised to have water delivered to us at no cost. He never contacted the water provider and we had to get the water delivered ourselves.
Jeremy also rarely returned texts or calls saying his phone was not working. He said he got a new phone but communication did not improve.
Jeremy did text on February 9th that he had pneumonia, but this was over a week since the job should have been completed.
Jeremy also said his father was ill on February 22.
I'm sure you are wondering why we paid for the job after reading this, that was a mistake on my part as I liked Jeremy who is a very personable fellow and seemed to be doing his best. He also had some very high recommendations from contractors he worked with, unfortunately he apparently somehow lost his skills for our installation. I still like Jeremy, but I certainly cannot recommend him.
