Geraldine did an outstanding job remodeling my bathroom and hallway. He did a perfect job installing brand-new floor and wall tiles. He is trustworthy, knowledgeable, takes great care in his work, and can solve any issue that arises. I definitely recommend hiring Geraldine for any home improvement, repair, or installation needs you may have. I am extremely happy with his work and will only be working with him on future projects.

We hired Harry right before the COVID 19 pandemic. We are fairly new to Middle Village and have gone through our share of horrible contractors. Good price, poor work- great work but very expensive price and a cocky attitude. Then we met Harry (contractor #4) who was not the least expensive, but great, quality work. I met Harry on Yelp a few years ago but never hired him for work because he was busy and the work I needed was not urgent. This time I hit the jackpot! Harry and his men were professional and human; punctual, respectful and trustworthy. They respected our home, our children and our schedules. They fixed up my botched bathroom that contractor 2 worked on. My bathroom was not even a year old and the floor tiles were cracking and the saddle in my shower was leaking! At the same time, I trusted them with my kitchen backsplash that took me almost a year to decide on. The end results speak for themselves. I will definitely hire Harry and his crew again. I am very happy customer.

Our sink pipe cracked on Christmas Eve and PS&D was very responsive and had a team out very quickly. They replaced the pipe and associated fixtures quickly and thoroughly.

Dennis and his team are life savers.  After just moving in 4 days earlier, we had flooding in the basement as a result of the sewage line being blocked. It was late Friday night and I called Drain Solutions Plus to come out and Dennis and Felix came out in an hour to assess the issue and then proceeded to use a heavy duty snake to clear out the sewer line.  Unfortunately the blockage was pretty bad and after a couple of hours the drill they were using was burning out and needed to come back in the morning with a stronger drill.

Dennis and Felix came back in the morning as promised and were able to clear out the line with the stronger drill and we were able to successfully use the bathrooms again. The line was clogged with tree roots and debris along with the backed up sewage.

All throughout the process Dennis was very honest and articulate about the situation and what he was trying to do. I appreciate their persistence, their responsiveness and their ability to get the job done despite the challenges. I would definitely recommend Dennis and his crew to help with any sewage or drain clearing issues.

A late Sunday issue with the PTrap was taken care of by Monday morning.  Great service, techs were professional and very considerate of our home, explained the issue and replacement was installed in under 30 min!

Tim at Golden Hands was a pleasure to have in our home - really friendly, good natured and kind to our dog.  I wasn't sure what to expect hiring a handyman for several wide-ranging projects (picture hanging, bathroom fixture installation and water pressure resolution) but relied on the reviews and am glad that I did.  Tim showed up on time, masked and with a backpack full of the right tools for the job.  He was able to hang heavy wall art and smaller pictures alike - we felt comfortable that he knew what he was doing on our newly plastered walls. He diagnosed the issue behind our water pressure and agreed to come back at another time once he was able to get a specific part to test. On the bathroom fixtures he was done quickly and they look great. We will definitely not hesitate to have him do other odd jobs around our house as they will no doubt arise.

Ten years ago I would have recommended them, even though they are far more expensive than other plumbers I use. But they seem to be in way over their heads on new technology. They installed very expensive new boiler, didn't quite finish (despite being paid in full) and there have been problems every year with it since. Also, their work has gotten quite sloppy over the last few years.

Not always available for emergencies, but their work is great.  I have used them for Hot Water replacement, Furnace repairs, Plumbing rough outs.

Called on a Tuesday at noon about my sink that wouldn't drain (despite me playing Mr Plumber to no avail).   Yuri came by at 2, spent an hour or more with mechanical snake thingy and I had greatest drainage speeds I've had in years.   Yuri also happily explained why an island sink always has challenges with draining (no air pipe) and I couldn't be happier with the service.  I think it cost $225, not sure if that's high or not but I have a larger project that Yuri took a look at and will likely use them again assuming pricing not ridiculous.

I would give this place no stars if it were possible. Whatever you do, DO NOT used this place!!!! They are a complete rip off.

I called them on February 19th because I had a clogged sink in my kitchen that would not drain. I needed someone to help because it was an emergency. The man that they sent over, named George apparently, was acting so strange that the doorman in my building thought he was high. No joke. He spent about an hour and a half cursing at the top of his lungs, banging things, and then cursing some more. I told my boyfriend that we were clearly going to be paying for the show he was putting on and not the work as it did not seem like he was getting anything done.

He used our bathroom about six times, which I thought was odd. He unscrewed a pipe and it dumped disgusting brown water all over our kitchen rug. By the time he left had done NOTHING and charged us $450!!!!!! That was in addition to the fee we expected to pay for him simply coming over. This is outrageous. Especially considering that our sink was worse when he left than before he came over.

Not to mention he left our kitchen A FILTHY MESS!!!! There were dirty brown handprints everywhere, including the doorway to our bathroom. Our sink was not leaking underneath by the pipes before he got here, and yet suddenly the space under the sink was flooded with water. He left crap everywhere and left our home a complete disaster. It took me over an hour to clean up his filthy mess.

I immediately emailed the company and attache the photos that you see here. A girl named CeCe who works for them said no manager was around but could I email her the receipt? I did. She said someone would get back to me. No one did. I emailed again on the 25th. Nothing. Then on the 27th. Still nothing. I have called four times. EVERY SINGLE TIME I am told that no manager is around but that someone will call me.

SO, no manager works there on the weekend which is shocking. They must be the only business in the city where there is no manager supervising things on the weekend. Ever. And no manager is there after 5. And no manager has called me back. Or emailed me. I called again today and am waiting to hear back from someone yet again but was told by an employee that they can't control if a manager calls me back or gets in touch with me at all.

This place is a joke. It is a total rip off and I am reporting them to the BBB. Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE for ANYTHING!!!! You will seriously regret it.
