For a local plumbing supply house, Bell Ridge keeps a pretty big inventory of supplies for residential and commercial jobs. My company does all commercial work and we use Bell Ridge often. They almost always have what we need in stock and if they don't, it's usually a day away. Unlike most of the bigger supply houses, you never get that smug, condescending attitude from the folks at Bell Ridge. From the counter guys to the ladies in the office, the staff is always polite, professional and courteous. I deal with dozens of supply houses every week and you can tell within the first few minutes of talking to them, that these folks genuinely appreciate your business and are going to do whatever they have to do to get your the parts or answers you need.

I have been using this company for the last few years. I am The Superintendent of a 4 unit building and every single experience I have ever had with this company has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! They are professional, polite, courteous & economically priced. More importantly, their work is insured for a year (not that I've ever had to have them come back for any reason). and they actually take pride in their work & their craft! That is something you don't see often nowadays! I would & have recommended them to Family & friends. They remember their customers by name and treat you like more than just a client. I feel lucky to have found such a phenomenal company!

I dont need a plumber every day... but when I do, Guarini is the only one I would use or recommend. These guys are great. Today I had banging noises in my furnace, I called them, they were there before their estimate, took care of the situation, and were out in a little over an hour. Chris was great, he explained what he was planning to do and what he thought the problem was, and sure enough, fixed it right away.
I have only great words and recommendations for this Plumbing and heating company.... I have used them on an off for over 18 years. They are the best you can get in Jersey City!

I am a business owner in Westfield and we had a real problem. 5 stores in a row with one sewer line finally passing through the fifth store leading to the street. We had a total sewer clog at the final outlet and the entire system backed up into the basement of store #5. A disaster and a total mess. We called Bugsy and he literally stopped whatever he was doing and got to us in 15 minutes. He snaked us all the way to the street and cut through whatever grease or god knows was clogging us up. He stuck around and made sure everything was perfect. And his bill was WAY less than what we had expected had we called a national chain company. Please take my advice: call a local guy DO NOT call a national chain. They insist on a free consultation but trust me they're gonna take you for a ride thinking they got you now. 5 stars HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Emergency call to fix a leaky sink and hosed my elderly parents over $950 and won't provide an itemized invoice and won't deduct earlier service call as promised.

This is, without a doubt, one of the most unprofessional operations in Brooklyn. I had plumbers from their company come to my home on (3) occasions to work on various issues with my home.
Their accounting department sends invoices well after the fact and EACH time I received an invoice from them (which typically came a month or so after the work was performed) they ADDED time on-site, to generate additional revenue for themselves. Each time I called them and they claimed it was either a mistake, or an issue with the truck's odometer, or told me that's what the plumbers are saying. I finally had to argue with the owner (who is quite unpleasant, rude and unprofessional) over the discrepancy. To add to it, we're still having issues with a radiator they were supposed to fix.
Do yourself a favor - FIND ANOTHER PLUMBER. They're not worth your time or money and there are plenty of other professionals out there.
Look at other reviews on yelp and have a look at their rating on Indeed.com from folks that have worked there. Awful.

So professional so quick and so affordable. Wadson Lopez sent someone immediately to my condo. Mr. Lopez was so kind and he cleaned up after. Was so impressed by their professionalism. Highly recommend. These guys were awesome. We had a bad leak that was going from our first floor bathroom to our basement. Fast response, a plumber was out here within a couple of 30 minutes. He was able to identify a tough problem (corroded pipe in the wall), and saved us a ton of money by not immediately tearing up our tile floor and instead, went to the source in the wall. We will definitely be calling these guys again! If you are looking a plumber Courageous Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning is the BEST place to call!!!

For some reason Yelp won't let me update my original review, so I have to rewrite the whole thing. My last review was about a page and I can't copy paste, so oh well.
Update: 3/5 stars (original was 4/5 stars)
We had a forced air humidifier put in through Ryan
Ryan's prices were competitive (not cheap, not expensive).
The technician who did the work: Brian
Unit: April Air 600 (manual set, not automatic)
Overall the work was good. It was put in on 12.2016.
The only issue is they had to fix it twice now, once raj year.
The first time was 12.2017. It was minor issue with the line being clogged. They blew it out and all was good. Now I also check it more often just to make sure it stays that way. This may not have been preventable, I'm not sure.
Ryan charged @$80 for the visit.
The second time was the selonoid failed. It automatically stops / allows water to pass to the filter, and only does it when the furnace is on. It stopped all water from coming out.
Ryan charged @$80 for the visit. They wanted @$290 to replace it.
I felt that was too expensive and that part broke only after 2 years? seems pretty early.
I called another company, they replaced it for $160, and said it looked old. They showed me how a new one has a few things that make it better. Given it has only been 2 years, that doesn't sounds right.
I didn't call Ryan about this or complain a lot. But I still feel like they should warranty something if it breaks within 3 years. Or just charge for parts or something. I've had contractors do similar things in the past, especially since I've been loyal in the past.

We used Angelo to remodel our first floor bathroom. The work was adequate, with a few notable exceptions. We had to disconnect our washing machine in the basement for him to work on the bathroom. He cut the lines to the washing machine and never reconnected them. I told him about this when I made the final payment, and he said he come back and fix it, but never did. I had to buy the parts and do the work myself.
He connected a shower in the basement to be used while the bathroom was being remodeled. He made me buy the pump to evac the water from the shower, without giving me a model number. I bought a pump from the supplier he recommended, and he epic failed on the install. He used the wrong pipe size, did not use a drainage slope, set 90 degree pipes when the instructions clearly state that 45 degrees is the max, and used about 5 clamps and adapters instead of the one provided. The result is that the kitchen sink drained into the shower stall, and the pump would never shut off because it was overtaxed.
Also, the bathroom he set up is leaking into the basement.
In short, I had to fix half the stuff that he set up. Do NOT ever call this guy. He has no clue what he is doing, and will not come back to fix his mistakes.

Called JH to fix a running faucet and adjust a kitchen faucet which was loose. They scheduled a visit for the next day, came on time and were done in an hour including a trip to the hardware store.
Pretty much as good as it gets.

Look no further! This is Plumbing Heaven! Super Professional - Super Friendly and Super Competent!!
The front kept you updated when the guys would show. Then ( Tim & Brandon ) would show up and before they would come into the house, they covered their shoes. Big plus with my better half. They listened to my problems and gave me a few options. They were Awesome! It's been about a week and everything is perfect. Very reasonable for the amount of work provided.
Thank You Tim, Brandon and everyone at Zeek Plumbing!

Nobody wants to come home after a long day to a backed-up, slow moving toilet. After a quick Yelp search, I got in touch with Subhi and within 20 minutes he was at my house taking care of the issue.
I surely will store his number for all my plumbing needs going forward.

There is a separate Argent Yelp listing for what seems to be the same business (links to the same website and same area) on South street in New Providence. It seems to be the same place, but the reviews are much different.
Anyway, I called them when I had a leaky faucet. Their fee for just giving an estimate is the highest I have seen in the area, and, in my opinion, the amount the Argent plumber wanted to charge to complete what he said was going to take approximately 45 minutes was incredibly high. I actually thought he was joking when he quoted me the price. I felt immediately uncomfortable with him in my house and tried to get him to leave as soon as possible, but he of course wanted his $100 fee for the 3 minutes he spent confirming that my faucet was leaking. I ended up getting the work done for less than half the price by another licensed professional who did a great job. Please be careful. I don't know if these guys are bad at what they do (I would never hire them so I will never find out), but, they seem extraordinarily expensive.

Gold Medal sent Mike Elbaz to evaluate my furnace problem. Another company told me I needed a whole new furnace which would've been a tremendous expense. Mike looked over the unit thoroughly and determined that I only needed a few parts. I'm going with Gold Medal from now on, specifically requesting Mike. Highly recommend!
