I was referred to Stafford Plumbing & Heating by a close friend.  I needed to get a section of pipe replaced and new spigot installed on the exterior of my parents' home in Cranford since the current one froze over the winter and developed numerous leaks.  I contacted the office and was quickly scheduled for their plumber to visit the residence to inspect the issue and propose a solution.  Since I do not live in NJ, I was dealing with this over the phone.  Once Jim arrived and inspected, he contacted me to describe what was happening and proposed a solution that offered a great improvement to the current set up.  He provided an estimate at the same time and sent photos.  Just yesterday, he came to perform the work.  Since it took less time that he estimated, he actually reduced the cost of the repair!  Who actually does that?  I truly felt as though we had simply asked a trusted friend/family member to come over and help us out with this water leak repair.  Jim also sent photos to illustrate the work he had just performed.  Everything looked like a great improvement over the original design!  The best part is that he installed a frost free sillcock so this should not happen again!  I highly recommend you call Stafford Plumbing & Heating for all of your related needs.  They are knowledgeable, trustworthy, fair, communicative, and quality-driven.  They certainly take pride in their work and it shows!

The plumber came on time and unclogged the drain. Cleaned up. The gentleman was polite and efficient. Very happy with the result.

I am writing this belated review because today I just contacted ClearFlow for yet another job.

Summer 2015:
My underground water line burst and was dripping water into my neighbors basement. The local water company(SUEZ)  threatened to turn off  water to my 2 family home unless I got the line fixed asap.

I found ClearFlow on HomeAdvisors.com. I emailed them late evening and Mr Rolando replied immediately(via cell and text) He came over the next day to inspect and evaluate.  
Mr. Rolando (project manager) outlined everything that had to be done and what He was going to do: obtaining city certificates, hired policeman, step up street signs to close street. sub-contracted sidewalk concrete guys, street paving guys, excavation guys, plumbing guys. We agreed on a date and I did not have to do anything else but be home.  All the trucks arrived EXACTLY at 8AM.
They started work non-stop except for lunch and finished everything the same day and cleaned up all debris in front of my house by 4PM  

The SUEZ water company showed up to turn my water off a few days later thinking the work had not started, Mr. Rolando and I happened to be in front of my house when he showed up to prove it to him it was already completed.

I contacted ClearFlow a few weeks later to replace all the turn-wheel  water valves in my house with lever types so I can turn off only what I wanted versus turning off water to the whole house. Again , Mr R kept me informed even though he was on vacation by e-mail and text , I was given a quote, we agreed on a price and they came and replaced (welding and solder work) in about 2 hours in the evening.

Clear-Flow tested everything before they left in both jobs.
They are expensive but you get what you pay for and the work is professionally done. You don't have to do anything but agree on a price , get out of the way and let them do their job. Worry-Free.

I originally had Madison oil , Approved took over several years ago. I haven't had any problems with their service. Every time I called they responded timely. I own a 2 family in Bensonhurst for 31 years. On auto delivery and they have never let me run dry like my 1st Co. did twice in middle of winter and gunk on bottom of tank clogged my lines. The only question I have is that for the 1st time I locked in a price and was wondering what happens if oil drops below ( thats why I never have done it before ) otherwise I have never had a problem, their staff has always been prompt and curtious.

Continental did an excellent job.  I called them to clean out some of my drains.  They were very accommodating, showed up on time, and were polite and neat. I Will definitely use them again.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!  No showed twice with no warning, very unprofessional. When you try to call the cell number provided, there is no answer and a full voicemail.
