TJ and DJ were awesome! I contacted them the night before and got a quote right away and he was able to send someone the very next morning. Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Talked us through the issues with the water heater, included our options for fixing it, and then gave us time to consider things. Prompt and courteous throughout the morning and walked us through the entire process. Highly recommend these guys for plumbing issues, they were great!!!

I am not sure why--but plumbing issues always seem to happen on a weekend with us. This time we had a clogged sink - We have used TJK in the past for a project so decided to call them first. SO glad we did. We again had excellent response time with very clear communications with estimated time of arrival and service fees. Teddy showed up right away and did a fantastic job. He knew what he was doing, took time to ensure the issue was fixed and cleaned up after he had completed a very dirty job with years of grease build up. The prices were more than fair and you can't ask for a more reliable team. I would recommend them anytime and will use them again for any future needs.
I was so impressed with the work and service I got from TJK plumbing. They kept me informed each step of the repair and were conscientious and honest. I will be using TJK for all my plumbing needs in the future!
My outside water faucet wouldn't turn off and I needed a plumber. I knew I wanted a smaller company. So, when I found TJK, I was like, why not? The technician that came was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was patient with me while he walked through what needed to be done. Although expensive, I understood as he needed to replace piping. I was pleased he didn't need to cut through a wall. Whew!!! :-) I would totally recommend them!

Quick response but atrocious pricing. They charged 900$ for 2 cartridge replacement in a shower faucet. Total rip off. But I will tell that they are very responsive...only person who was able to come within 24 hours.

I'm one of those people that believes in leaving certain tasks to the professionals - you don't try to represent yourself in a lawsuit or put in your own pacemaker, I won't mess with the plumbing. When my master shower proceeded to flood both the furnace room AND the garage, I came to Yelp.
I'll keep it simple - next day service (at my request), straightforward pricing, succinct explanation of the problem and fixed same day WITH a one year warranty. DJ was professional AND friendly as well as clearly capable of the job at hand. He's welcome back for future plumbing issues (yet I'm hoping there won't be any :) )

No stars. Horrible experience. Small drip in bath faucet and shower valve wouldn't come to a full stop. Neither thing an emergency. Starts off lecturing that his philosophy is full replace, rather than repairing. Quoted $1500 for the work. Found another plumber who fixed it all for $300. Why would I call a professional plumber if the answer is always going to be replace. Frankly, I can replace on my own.

Josh visited our house with a well system issue. It had gotten so bad that we had no running water.
He sketched out a solution, provided the pricing up front, and now we have a system and solution that has everything working great.
Great service today from Brad for a pinhole leak in our main water line. Brad arrived promptly within the time window, worked quickly, was very professional, left the work site clean, and was low pressure and honest in recommending repairs. Also, he was patient with us while answering our MANY questions. We are very happy with his work and will plan on calling Brad at TJK in the future for any needs. Thanks!
I can't vouch for actual services, but TJ just called me back on Labor Day Weekend and offered invaluable over-the-phone consulting and a reference for someone who does work in my area. GREAT customer service!
Funny story...I heard about TJK Plumbing from a bad review on a competitor based out of Anoka. This reviewer called TJK instead and was happy with the response time and work completed. Not heeding their warning, I called said competitor for appt and was told they'd call me back. With no phone call at the end of a full working day, I called TJK and left a message. Got a returned phone call within 5 mins. I was able to get an appt made for 8am next morning.
Sid was my plumber. He showed up at 8:05 (which I consider to be on time with rush hour and rain). Very nice young man, professional. He took a look at my leaking toilet valves and quoted me an acceptable, affordable price. Work was completed within 30 mins. Before he left, my invoice was accompanied by a refrigerator magnet. That has been placed in full view of anyone walking by to get to my half-bath!!!! (Work is completed and still no phone call or appt from competitor. You snooze, you lose.)

WOW! We found TJK Plumbing on yelp and hoped their good reviews were true. Sadly, there is no 6 star option, they are amazing! At every step in the process, from booking a quote, to discussing options, to getting our tank replaced, they were knowledgeable, super professional, and overall a pleasure to deal with. The work was done quickly and thoroughly. Additionally, they provided the best price compared to others (and we did shop around). I would highly recommend them! Thank you TJK Plumbing!!!

I had a little crisis that involved shutting off my water. My whole house water filter was leaking. I called around several plumbing companies, which either didn't know what I was talking about or couldn't make it out until well into next week. Then I contacted TJK through Yelp. I was able to make a same day appointment, and for a reasonable price. Your guy Dan was very helpful and knowledgeable. He says the filter is unnecessary due to Anoka having good water, and simply removed it. No high pressure sales pitch for a replacement. Just a solution that fit my budget. I will keep you guys in mind if I have any future plumbing issues or need something installed. Thank you for the great work!
On a Saturday morning we discovered that our old water heater died. My husband called TJK Plumbing and spoke to them on a Saturday morning. They said they could sent someone out to us right away as an emergency, but we didn't mind waiting a couple days so he set up the appointment for Monday morning. I was pleasantly surprised to get a appointment so quickly, I was expecting to have to fight for a spot somewhere later in the next week or two - but no! On Monday morning my husband got a call that the plumber would be here in the next 20 minutes. He also got a text with their Covid information and a photo of the truck that would be coming. Very nice! Dan was our plumber and he was great! He explained the problem, explained our options and was very patient with my husband's questions. We got a quote right away and now, less than 3 hours later we have a new water heater, professionally installed, the city has been notified, permit confirmed, and the plumber is gone! Amazing! If you had told me this issue would be resolved so quickly and painlessly I would not have believed you! I will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs, and I will recommend TJK Plumbing to anyone and everyone I know!
Oh wow, where to start. First of all, the gentleman on the phone was very helpful in guiding me how to handle my need of replacing both my kitchen faucet and toilet. My toilet had developed a leak that was making me very nervous. The gentleman on the phone said, 'why don't we take care of everything tomorrow? Tomorrow? Are you kidding me? No plumber comes the next day. First off, you are generally given a date, and then you must call back over and over to confirm. If I had not seen the 5 stars on Yelp for this business, I would have bailed thinking this was too good to be true.
The next day Brad came over. Brad explained the costs, gave me choices for related work that I might want to have done while he as there, and started to work. When he finished, we settled up, and he left. When I looked at his work, not only was is perfect, but it was actually cleaner where he worked then before he arrived. Brad removed the packaging that came with both the faucet and toilet. It was spotless. I will now be a life long customer!
We're brand new homeowners and needed a plumbing company that seemed trustworthy and affordable. There were two issues that needed addressing: one was our kitchen sink would drain slowly when washing dishes for a few minutes. The other was our basement bathroom's faucet had a slow drip when turning on the hot water. Two technicians were sent over to fix the separate issues. Larry worked on the draining issue and Dan worked on the bathroom faucet. Both technicians were professional, friendly, and hard working.
I was especially pleased with how the drain problem was solved: At first Larry tried jetting, but it didn't solve the problem. He then used a 100 drain snake machine that successfully cleared the pipes. Even though the jetting was at a higher price point, we were only charged the lower price for the snaking. As for the faucet, solving that issue would require replacing the unit, so we declined the fix for another time, even though Dan could have made the replacement on the spot. There was no pressure to make the fix, which was greatly appreciated. So the only cost for Dan was the combined $60 travel fee for both technicians. Not bad! We'll likely use TJK again for our plumbing needs.
Our family was under the impression we had a water heater leak the other weekend during a bout of extremely cold days. Water pooled around the HWH base and dripped off the hot water pipe.
We'd seen great reviews for TJK Plumbing and so we thought we'd give them a chance to give our HWH a look and diagnosis. I called on a Friday morning and they scheduled an appt right away that morning. It was only 2 1/2 hrs after my call and they arrived. They were responsive and prompt, and knowledgeable with their HWH selection and service.
Uniquely, we were in need of a larger water heater and they offered one of the lower prices on a special order HWH (lower by $300 for disposal, installation and labor). After contemplating the high cost (due to the commercial size), we discovered that there was no leak, only a build-up of condensation due to the extreme outdoor cold and water on the pipes and around the water heater.
I give a 4 star for the prompt and responsive service, knowledge of heaters, and lower price in comparison to other plumbers. But, not quite a 5 star only because we had to discover the condensation issue on our own. I'm sure they weren't thinking to offer that piece of info because we thought we knew we had a leak. It would have been beneficial to know of other issues aside from a leak existed especially in the cold.

These guys were fabulous! We had a nasty leak from a recently replaced shut off valve. They were able to come quick, within 1 day and charge us the normal rate. Other plumbing companies (Benjamin Franklin and other bigger names) were going to charge us nearly double to come within a day. They were timely, friendly --- and so far, a job well done !! Thanks to Sid who was very polite and professional. We will definitely use you in the future if needed. They also do 1 year parts/labor warranty. Pricing was comparable to a few others, but as mentioned, lower than several and they were able to come within 24 hours! Quote was nearly spot on. Sid also explained a few additional helpful details (backsplash plate, info on why the first fix wasn't successful...) JUST AWESOME!

SUPERB QUALITY! Professional, Reliable, and Responsive at a more than FAIR PRICE! We just had to call TJK for an emergency! Upstairs tub drain started leaking and spilled through our main floor bathroom ceiling! We called TJK and he gave us immediate directions on how to stop more damage until he could arrive. He went above and beyond in fixing the leak. He is professional, courteous and personable! We will definitely be repeat customers! We highly recommend TJK Plumbing!!

Reliable, courteous, friendly. I had some drain work done and a week later it became plug again they came out again no charge for service call but had to do some more work to unclog the drain which they were hoping they didn't have to do the last time. Unfortunately I wish they had as it cost me again for this call which in turn if they would have done this procedure originally it turned out the two charges turned out to be about the same had the done this originally.
Our sump pump was really old and needed replacement. After seeing good reviews we thought to try TJK plumbing for pump replacement and battery backup. I have spoke to multiple consulting firm for different projects but I must say TJK was very responsive, quicker, punctual and in no time our work was done with out leaving a mess. I called them in the morning to get an appointment and by 6pm same day the work was completed. Though the work was bit expensive , the job done was quite impressive . Our technician Tim was very knowledgeable and was answering to all our questions patiently. I gave 4 star because of the price, but hey I understand if we need professionalism and great job we pay the price :)

I just had TJK come for a leaking bathroom faucet. They gave me an exact time they would be there and not a window of time - I really appreciated that! The plumber was on time and done in 40 min and even hooked up our drain stopper while he was under the sink - above and beyond! I've heard horror stories about how much plumbing repairs can cost and so I was pleasantly surprised at the price. Very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend them!

After noticing the hot water in my kitchen wasn't scalding my hands like it normally does, I gave TJK plumbing a call before my water heater blew (I'm no dummy). They came out that day, confirmed what I already knew (the old girl was ancient and could potentially find a new home in the Smithsonian) and had a new one out to my place in an hour. Not only that, they rewired some of the janky wiring the previous owners of my house had decided to take upon themselves to do. Super impressed, not just by the aforementioned details, but because it was one single human who hauled the old heater up the basement stairs and brought the new one in, all while maneuvering narrow doorways like a champ. Props.
Great place. TJ put in a new water heater for me himself. He's great, easy to work with and the price was very reasonable. This is the company I will use for all plumbing work from now on.

We would recommend this business. However, they should do a better job of quoting their prices up front on the phone. We purchased a water softener that was supposed to be DIY but because of some issues we called for a plumber. Tim was here within 2 hours and was very professional and did a great job. We were quoted $55 to show up & then depending on the job would be quoted a price-they said. Well, the standard price to install a water softener is $495 plus the $55....no such thing as just soldering the pieces that need it but it is a full install. That number needs to be quoted up front before we had to decide if we should send him away or not.
Very uncooperative customer service...unwilling to have a technician call me or look at photos of the leaking pipe. Call another company who will be more interested in serving the needs of the customer.

Poor DJ came for what should have been an easy sink and dishwasher hook up and ended up staying for some additional repairs. He was professional and cheerful at all times, even removing his shoes before working in our kitchen (we didn't care but were glad that he did).
DJ was very clear and helpful when explaining the work that he needed to perform. He also traveled with every part that he needed, which definitely expedited the process. It seems like our kitchen received an upgrade under his attention. The prices was very reasonable, the work was completely quickly and DJ impressed us thoroughly.
Agreeing with Anisca P., this review definitely needs that 6th star!
We use TJK plumbing regularly. Brad who comes out is very knowledgeable, does great work, and is always courteous.
Pricing is by the trip charge+project not trip charge+time+materials. Usually means that pricing is bit higher than other plumbers. We essentially are paying for a higher level of service.
They were super responsive, respectful, helpful, and turned a stressful situation into a pretty easy situation. I would recommend them to anyone!

You know that Instagram meme? Be a brad. Everyone should be a Brad. Brad gave me the best present anyone could ask for.... HOT WATER! Woo hoo! He came within the service window, removed my shower handle and moved the anti-scald lever over which gave me HOT WATER! can you believe I've lived in my house for 3.5 years and have taken lukewarm showers? Nice guy.
Another time, TJK came to the rescue when our sewer line backed up. They came to my rescue and promptly and snaked the drain.
Had a pinhole leak in a pipe (argh). didn't have the time to deal with it. Called TJK, and they were able to get somebody out here the same day which was awesome.
Our plumber Dan, was great to work with on this issue. he was prompt, clear in communications, had a good sense of humor, and made the appropriate recommendations. The work was clean and well done. I also appreciated that he double-checked his work.
They will be the first call on some other work we will be doing later this year. Well done TJK.

Charged outrageous for a simple outdoor faucet change, work time was exactly 2 minutes. I probably go somewhere else then getting ripped off.
We had used TJK in the past so when we had another pin hole water leak we called them out. I don't recall the astronomic prices in the past. The technician said that the parts to fix it to our request would be $200 dollars, which was acceptable. The bill came to $810.00?????? With the deduction of the parts ($200) and the $60 travel fee and a $25 coupon means the two hours it took came in at $262.00 an hour. What???? You can get very good plumbers for much less. It is hard to know the exact costs of everything because they do not itemize the bill in a way the customer can read. I have no problem with the work they preformed, it looks good, however, I will be going elsewhere next time.
