Overpriced and unprofessional. Quite frankly I'm astonished at the lack of professionalism displayed today. We called him for an emergency several weeks ago and he was able to help (at a premium price of course, because it was 6pm and after hours). He also gave us a quote for several things we knew we'd need to do. It was extremely overpriced and we ended up being able to find friends to help us for free with a lot of it, but there were a few things left we knew we'd need a plumber to do. We're having other work done at the same time so the water main was unfortunately not accessible. I did not realize that he would need to access the water main to unclog a drain tub. I still don't see why he would need to do that. I was putting the baby down for a nap when he arrived, but left the door open with a sign for him to come on in. He does not give you an arrival time until 30 minutes prior so there wasn't much notice. Instead of calling me when he thought there was a problem, he interrupts my husband who works from home, and is clearly in the middle of a virtual patient care visit. He throws a hissy fit tantrum that rivals my 2 year olds, and storms out yelling about how he's seen red flag after red flag and you can find yourself a new plumber! I'm not sure if the red flags he's thinking of are the fact that we didn't have the money to waste on his 4-5k quote (the most expensive one we got of the 3 plumbers we had out too). I have had a lot of contractors working on our houses and have never encountered this level of unprofessionalism. Ever. Do NOT recommend.

I originally had RotoLiars come out & caught them lying & overcharging. I kicked them out of my home.
I then hired St Paul Pipeworks based on a neighbor's recommendation. These guys are great! Professional, reasonably priced, & quality work. I highly recommend them.
5-17-19 Had yet another great experience with St. Paul Pipeworks this time installing a new water heater at my home. Paul & Billy were great.

We hired Josh to install a rangehood above our stove. Josh pretty much had to start from scratch -- the previous owners had left an old liner in the space but there was no light or fan. Josh did all the research to find one that would fit into the customized space, shopped to get us the best price for the unit and installed it within two weeks of our first call to him. He was extremely professional and did a great job of communicating with me throughout the process. I will hire Josh again AND recommend him to my friends!

The owner, Jason, promptly responded to our phone call and scheduled an appointment the next day. We needed an outdoor faucet replaced. Since the faucet was welded, the challenge was to find the pipe located in our lower level with its finished ceiling. Jason accomplished this and completed the work to our satisfaction. As he was leaving, I asked him to look at the toilet on the main floor which did not flush prompty. He had the part with him and repaired it, charging us only for the part itself. If you're looking for a prompt, professional, courteous plumber who does excellent work at a realistic price, he's your man.

Lon came out on time as they promised and did a fantastic job. They gave me a working quote via Yelp and stated true to their word. Everyone was friendly and professional, I would recommend to everyone!

Stacey visited our home today. He told us what the problem was in terms that we could understand. He was very respectful and knowledgeable. We have some projects that we will definitely have them work on in the near future. We are very pleased with the entire experience!

Hopke came out to my home to fix a leaking shower head. Got it fixed quickly and at a reasonable price. This was an issue that looked easy on YouTube but in reality was much more involved and a different fix. Would have been a day of misery for me to try this on my own.
Will definitely call them back when the next crisis occurs!

Our A/C was on its last legs right during the first heat wave of the summer. We use Rumpca for one reason--we trust them. We ordered a new Lennox AC but it was not in stock so they had to order it in. Due to the heat wave, their installers were not going to be able to install a new one for about a week. With the temps supposed to be soaring over the weekend BEFORE our new a/c got installed, we made a couple of inquiry calls to Rumpca and they sent a tech out to help limp our old a/c along until the new one could get installed. THIS, in spite of their backlogged schedule with other a/c calls, they still sent someone out to try and get our old a/c to hang on until the following week! That is customer service. We trust Rumpca, their people and their quality of installs. Thanks Rumpca Team!!!

Matt is great! Super helpful, responsible and a great problem solver. He can help with picking out fixtures. Also not as pricey as some of the big name places.

Wish we could give 6 stars.
We had a nasty leak on our second floor radiator, and made the mistake of calling another company to come out and check it late on a Sunday night. We listened for an hour as this guy tried to sell us a new $10,000 boiler. When that didn't work, he tried saying it would cost $3,600 to fix the radiator - without even checking the radiator leak mind you - so we decided to get a second opinion despite going a long cold night without heat - since the only way to stop the water from gushing out of the radiator was to turn off the boiler( -15 by the way). We called Ryan the next morning, and John showed up promptly. We weren't 100% sure if the last guy from the other company was trying to pull a fast one, so we were a little hesitant at first. I knew almost immediately that John was for real. He asked where it was and went to work on the valve. After about 20 minutes, the problem was fixed. He also took the time to explain how everything worked with the system, as the whole thing looked pretty intimidating to someone like me who had grown up using a log fireplace. He explained what to do in an emergency and how long everything should last... not only that, he said that the boiler was in good working order and not to worry about replacement just yet.
We will continue to use Ryan for our future heating and plumbing as long as we're here. I will be asking specifically for John next time as well. He has earned our trust and was extremely patient, knowledgeable and sympathetic to our concerns. I hope management understands how valuable people like John are to their organization.
We will be recommending Ryan to our neighbors and friends. Thanks a ton!

No idea of the quality of this service as they never showed up for my scheduled tune up appointment. I waited over 2 weeks for an appointment and when the person didn't show up I called them. First I was told I had the wrong date. I did not have the wrong date. They called me back and said they had to reschedule my appointment but had FORGOTTEN TO CALL ME. We had cleaned out the furnace room and were awaiting the results of the inspection to determine if we could do another home improvement or if we'd need a new furnace in the near future. They REALLY caused problems for us by doing this! I wouldn't waste my time with this company as they are obviously unreliable and have little concern for anyone's schedule other than their own. There are better providers out there who will put their customers first.

MDC just did a job at my property. They made the situation worse and left a mess. The damage that MDC did caused flooding and ceiling damage.
When I spoke with the owner this morning, she was both unprofessional and unapologetic.
I asked if she would be coming to fix the problem or if I should find another vendor to clean up her mess. In response she called me a profane name and hung up on me.
