Drains Unlimited is outstanding, shocked to see no reviews on Yelp!   Above and beyond expectations!  As a first-time homeowner and millennial, I will be recommending this fantastic company to everyone I know.  Bill and Team are professional, and get the job done right.  We had a pipe under our foundation rot (1955 build) which disabled our ability to use our kitchen and laundry drains.  Keith, who discovered the problem (a fantastic plumber at Century Sewer Service, Redford - who we have used in the past) recommended we go to Bill, his brother-in-law, at Drains Unlimited for a fix.  Bill gave us a call within the week to set up a time to review the situation.  Bill spent well over an hour with us going over every detail of the job.  He answered every question we had without batting an eye.  The quote was beyond resonable for the job at hand.  We were expecting thousands more, but ended up being much less.  Within a few weeks of the quote, Drains Unlimited (+Keith! Thank you!) were on the job and replaced our piping within a day.  Quick, personable, professional, and we couldn't believe how clean the job was done.

I had a few plumbing issues, I called and they came the very next morning. Totally professional did a wonderful job. But I like the fact that he had a sweat shirt on with the company name. It made me feel so much more comfortable.I would definitely recommend this company.

I was told my sewer line needed to be replaced, which is an important and expensive job, so I wanted to get estimates from various companies. Two other companies provide free estimates and understood when I told them quite frankly that I am getting other estimates. This company does not provide free estimates, which is fine. I told him I could tell him what I need done (based on the assessment provided free from the other companies) and get a quote from him so I can compare. In response to that idea, he had the nerve to lecture me about how wrong it is to get an estimate and not hire the other company...

First, we live in a free market system where competition is simply a reality. I know this first hand because my husband does sales for a residential construction company. Everyday he spends hours providing free estimates to customers who don't make a purchase. It is a reality that we live with, BUT because his products are superior and his prices are fair, he does well enough to make up for the lost time. He knows that it is your job as a service provider to sell yourself and your work. This guy obviously isn't very confident that he can make the sale when held up against others! Either that or he would prefer a stupid customer who will take the first quote provided. Sorry, that's not going to be me.

Second, spare me from your boring moral soap box. While you, the passionate martyr, are defending your industry from the unfairness of getting multiple quotes, your competition is getting business, continuing to grow, and has enough revenue to hire a darn receptionist so he's not missing calls because of poor cell service.

3x this year we had our basement flooded.
Called Davis to give us an estimate after the 1st one we called was so out of our range.
He came in on time and very cordial
Used his handy little tool to clean the scale out of the pipes. And put in 2 backflow valves
With the 2 days of rain we got on 9/22 9/23 our basement is as dry as bone! Thank You!

Great professional service. Timely, good communicator, quality work, and very respectful with covid guidelines (wearing a mask, keeping distance). Pricing is very fair. Not only a plumber, but does full bathroom remodels as well.

Our water heater went after a solid 15 years, seeing as I haven't had many plumbing issues since moving in I was at a loss of who to call.

After purchasing a water heater from the local hardware store, I began searching on yelp, Rick was the fastest to respond, and also had one of the best quotes. But it was his promptness and professionalism that made me move forward. On Sunday evening he offered to come out the next day around mid afternoon. I'm not sure where some of these other reviews went wrong, Rick was prompt, responded to all my messages, and was on time for the job.

When the time came to install the heater, it was just my mom home. Normally she hates being alone with plumbers and the like because of the fear of being upsold, not so with Rick. She was raving about him! (Also commented on him not being bothered by dogs, which is a definite plus). He did the work promised and even took a look at a few other things for no charge. He didn't leave a mess, disposed of our old heater and now we can take steaming hot showers an hour or so later.

Rick is now in my phone for my plumbing needs now and into the future. I highly recommend giving him a call!

They were very fast and reliable, fair and honest pricing also. I had a flood in my basement two guys were here in less than a hour , the job was done quick, I'm not using no one else but this plumbing company!!

Dan was great! Very responsive from the first call. Showed up to my home the same day, installed a kitchen faucet within the hour. I highly recommend his service not only for faucets but granite and renovation.

I initially contacted Warkentin as I wanted to install a sump pump. They came out and quoted a price and although they weren't the cheapest, they came highly recommended. After I gave them the go ahead to do the job, I decided to waterproof my entire basement. As this is out of their realm, they recommended a few places to me and also advised me to ask if they still installed the sump pump afterwards would it affect the waterproofing warranty...which it would. Thanks to this piece of advice from Dawn.
Dawn recommended that I have the same company install the sump pump, which I ended up doing.

Flash forward a couple of months and I had decided to remove a tub and replace it with a shower. This would require changing the plumbing and setting a shower base. I contacted Warkentin specifically based on Dawns integrity with my previous issue. Her team came out and ran pipes and move the floor drain. As the shower walls were not yet installed, their plumber said he'd come back to set everything to the proper depth and ensure they were aligned properly. Once the walls and tiling were up, I contacted Dawn and she sent someone the following day.

Very happy with their professionalism, integrity and efficiency.

Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I used Downriver Plumbing twice within the last 72 Hours. I have some rental properties that had plumbing issues and he made it to both location on various days to review the damage and he fixed all the issues. He was very professional , honest and caring . Very detailed . He will now be the go to company to be used on rental property and my own home. He cleaned up and made sure everything was done correctly. Thanks Again !!!

Christmas Day, 2020. We received a basement load of backed up water from the floor drain.  Just the gift I had wished for.  I called Langdeau Plumbing and a visit was set for today, 26 December.  Greg snaked out some tree roots and had our 1928 house flushing away waste water like it was built yesterday. Call them for those jobs that you don't want to touch.

UPDATE: 18 January, 2021. Water is backing up into the basement again.  We've called Langdeau no fewer than three times about returning.  Messages have been left with no response from Langdeau.  Why have we been put on the pay-no-mind list?  Two stars removed. Time to look for a new plumber.

I do not recommend employing Langdeau Plumbing.

The damage done to my home during a complete repipe. The job was five grand. They cut the price$200, then warranteed their work for 60 days. Unprofessional, swearing in my home. I will never use them again

This company is a big joke. Avoid them at all cost. Not worth it.  This company will try to rip you off.

Used Jayson as a result of a referral off Facebook.  He came out and installed a new bathtub insert.  He was paid in full for the work he did in the guest bath and the master bath based on the assumption he checked his work before he left.  In order to install the insert, more drywall had to be removed.  Rather than either telling us that or contacting the contractor we were using to remove more drywall, he literally broke off chunks of drywall until he reached a point where he could get to the studs rather than neatly cutting away or asking us to do so.  He installed the insert without checking the function of the plumbing work he did and we didn't attempt to use the tub until a couple of weeks later and the tub wouldn't hold water.  We contacted him by text and phone messages for a couple of weeks and he responded saying he was on vacation.  We set up a day for him to come and had a conflict and needed to move it and contacted him and he's gone off the grid.  He was supposed to fix a faucet outside and he forgot and had to come back to do that and we gave him copper pipe for nothing just to be nice.  After getting paid in full and getting free copper plumbing we had to pay extra money to fix the drywall he tore up, pay another plumber to come and fix the drain stop which we found out wasn't set up at all and still haven't heard from him after several attempts!!  $1375 later - would never use this guy again.  Beware!

Eddie Jones Plumbing and Heating is a crook.  He takes clients to Advance Plumbing and Heating where they are overcharged for materials.  Then if you order the same material from another and go back to Advance for your refund they will not give it to you because they gave it Eddie Jones.  He puts holes in walls in other rooms and then you have to get someone else to fix them.  Because of his lack of professionalism my wood floors were scratched up.  Never use him.  He will cost you more money than the job itself.

Did not respond to any messages after stating they didn't have any room in their schedule. I had not requested a specific time frame so I am unsure why they answered at all.
