A few years ago I had a very bad leak in my kitchen and the water was running in my basement, mr. James came over and gave me a estimate of $1500 because the pipe was busted leading into the basement. I work midnights so when he came I went in my room and locked the door and told him to knock on the door when he was done, I did that because he said it would take at least 4 hours, anyway he knocked on my door an hour later and said he was done and that the job would only cost $150 because the pipe wasn't rotten all the way through so it was less time and work. I was asleep so he could have said he did the original amount of work and still charged $1500 and I wouldn't have known any better because I was asleep. Since that time I have used him many times and I really appreciate his honesty and professionalism

I've worked with them a couple of times. I was totally happy with the communication, the work and the pricing. Definitely will be my first choice for any plumbing work I have.

Al snaked my sewage line. He was easy to schedule, did great work, and explained the process. I will not hesitate to call him again when needed.

Not sure if this is actually their business location, but regardless, Big Beaver Plumbing was quite professional and helpful for what I needed.

The city of Troy tasked my home with a Backflow Testing request. This company was listed on the back of the form that I needed filled out. I called BBP up and spoke with Martha about what the heck this task was that I needed to have done!

She explained the entire process of what someone would be coming out to do. Within the week we had someone come out to do the backflow testing.

When Tom arrived, he explained that he had been in the business for a long time and made me feel comfortable that he knew what he was doing. I asked to stay outside with him as I was curious as to what he was going to do, and he agreed to allow me to watch. It was $100 for the testing and $20 to come in the house and show me where the valve was to turn off, which was fine because like I said, I had no idea what was going on really.

The equipment he was testing failed initially, probably due to it not being used in over a decade. He took most of the system apart, cleaned it (it was clogged with dirt), then put it all back together, retested, and the system passed.

Very professional and got the ridiculous job done that the city (which I found out was also the state of Michigan), was asking. Just wish Troy would reimburse me!

Do not use this service.  He advertizes but does not return phone calls during the day.  But he will call you back at 6:45  in the morning.  He good if you need a early wake up call but if you do not get up at that time do not call this business.  The four stars came from relatives.

My furnace went out at 11pm on a Saturday with below zero temps....lakeside rushed to fix my blower ....since my unit was quite old and the repair was major we decided a new unit was the best choice...sale guy came  at midnight to give me my options...though it was a weekend they open the warehouse and got the unit I wanted installed and heating by noon on Sunday!!!!  Very courteous and professional     Across the board, they came the following week to finish the installation great service!!!! And I have since compared prices and it was a VERY fair price for  the emergency service. Thanks lakeside

I had a toilet phantom flushing itself. They came out 3 times it is still flushing itself. I have been calling for 3 weeks to get them to come back. They never returned my calls. I have scheduled another plumbing company to come fix my toilet. I will never use this company again!!! I can not believe in 3 weeks you have not gotten ahold of me. I have called your Ann Arbor call center every day and they try to call the Auburn Hilks office with no answer. Once they were in a meeting would call be 3 waited until 5 and no answer

Quick ..but to be able to do that makes a larger overhead..

The people that are working behind the desk at this company are really freaking rude I had a family emergency and was trying to reach a sister that work there and some lady named Sandy is very rude and disrespectful she does not know the difference between an emergency and a personal call. Can you imagine her sending people out to do your plumbing. And I live out of state.

Not professional.  I got an appointment  for the next day between 2-3. At 3:05, I called and was told the tech was running behind, but will call. I got no call, and when I called,got no answer. Then, they called the next day saying they are on their way, and 5 minutes later they are at my door! I feel disrespected and I took my business elsewhere.

I called for an appt. around 3pm and a lady takes my info and says ill call you back never does. So i decided after an hour i call back speak with a guy who ensures me they will be out in an hour and half needless to say they never showed up or even contacted me back to say they wont be coming. The next day the lady had the nerve to ask if i still requied their service. Didnt even bother to apologize for not coming or calling from the day before. People have no respect for customers.
