Best Plumbing Services in Florida
Woke up to an overflowing hot water heater this morning and called Emerald Plumbing based off of reviews found online. I can't begin to say how happy I was when Ian and Erick showed up at my door after sopping up water all morning. They were friendly and super efficient - replacing my ancient water heater in a little over an hour. They also took care of replacing small parts on my toilets after noticing that they were in need of repair. I was really pleased with the service provided and will definitely be using Emerald for any future plumbing needs!

Brian was very professional and knowledgeable when I needed to change out my hot water heater. He was on time, answered my questions, and I felt very confident in his skills. It took about 2 hours and it was great to feel hot water again!! Highly recommend.

My husband and I had an urgent plumbing issue. We contacted Josh and he was out at our house the next day. In less than 2 hours he not only found the problem, but fixed it as well. Him and his employee were friendly and very knowledgeable. They left our bathrooms very clean. Their prices are very reasonable. We will not hesitate to call All Around Plumbing again! I highly recommend them!

It's been about a year ago but we had a very positivew experience with this company. A pipe burst in our home and we called around to a few places but nobody could come on short notice. My neighbor suggested Burt Norman's and they came right over. They were very professional, did an excellent job and they cleaned up after themselves. They charged a very fair rate considering that we were an emergency job. Very good experience. I would use them again.

I used Celtic plumbing for the first time today and they were fantastic. Arrived when they said and did the job. Left a perfectly clean work area. I highly recommend them.

Rob was supper. He was originally here for a installation of a bathroom sink and vanity top thru a big box home improvement plumbing center. The job was perfect. I was so pleased I had him come back and do 2 other jobs for me.
The first additional job was to replace the builder grade water supply gate style shut off valve for the house to a newer ball valve type. He had to jack hammer out the old one that was cemented into the concrete block wall and reroute in a the copper pipes in a U configuration into the garage and install the new valve. Now I have easy access to the shut off valve..
The second additional job was to replace the shut off valve for the cold water supply to my kitchen sink. He was so quick and neat to get it done.
Additionally, Rob has good people skills as well as his professional efficiency, ethics, and plumbing skills. I would have him back in a heart beat should the need ever arises. I wish I had him for a job I had done a couple of years ago in my other bathroom.
I highly recommend him for you plumbing needs.
A very satisfied repeat customer, very.

I'm giving them two stars instead of one because the owner ultimately made good on the price and I got a new water heater in one day.
However, the entire experience was incredibly frustrating.
I called yesterday because my water heater was leaking. The lady on the phone said they could get someone out the next day, which was great and I scheduled it.
She further explained that if the water heater was leaking from the bottom it would likely have to be replaced, but if it was leaking from the top it might be repairable and that they would only know when they got out here to look at it.
Call me crazy, but I assumed someone would show up the next day, look at the water heater, and let me know whether it needed to be repaired or replaced and give me a cost estimate.
Instead, I got an early morning phone call from someone who said he was on his way to my condo with a new water heater.
Confused, I called the office and talked to the lady I spoke with yesterday. She was defensive and stated that it was their normal practice to bring a water heater just in case it needed to be replaced. That seemed really odd to me, but okay. Then she proceeded to scold me for not telling her I lived on the second floor... Which I had absolutely told her the day before. She even asked if there was an elevator. And rather than just say that she didn't recall asking that, she seemed to want to argue about it. Since the water heater was coming and I felt that the likelihood was it would have to be replaced, I asked her about the cost and the brand of water heater. She said it was a Ruud 80 gallon water heater and the cost was $1600. She went on to say that the labor would normally be $434, but since I live on the second floor, my total cost with labor would likely be around $2100.
I had done some research on my own and this seemed reasonable, but I still expected the technician to verify whether or not my existing water heater could be repaired, before installing the new one.
When he got here, the technician brought the new water heater to the second floor and explained that he had been told to replace my current water heater. Since it is 20 years old, I decided not to press the issue and just let him replace it, based on the $2100 estimate I had been given.
When he was finished, the technician came in and told me the total cost was $2592. I knew the $2100 was an estimate and that the labor might vary by a few dollars, but I didn't expect a full $500 more than the estimate. So, I told the technician what I had been quoted. He acted very confused and said that they had a flat rate for 80 gallon water heaters and it was $2592.
What?! A flat rate? Why wouldn't the lady in the office who communicates with the customers know about a flat rate? Why would she give me a cost breakdown of the amount of the water heater and the labor that was $500 less? This was especially frustrating, considering that if I had not pressed for a price, the technician was sent to replace my water heater, no questions asked. No diagnostic visit... No options... No quote. Just replace it with no communication to me on the cost, if I hadn't pressed for it.
The technician explained that the lady I have been speaking to was no longer in the office and that he couldn't call her. I stuck to my guns and refused to pay $2592. He called the owner and the owner called him back shortly and agreed to let me pay $2200.
In the end, I feel that the cost was reasonable, but the entire experience was incredibly frustrating. They should've been much more transparent with me and the lady in the office desperately needs customer service training.
This just happened, so I can't speak to the quality of the work. I assume that the water heater is fine and will work just fine. I'm happy to have gotten it repaired within 24 hours. And, in the end, the owner backed up the price I was quoted.
But, due to the lack of transparency and customer service, I would not use this company again.

City shut the water off to protect me from spending an arm and a leg for a gallon a minute leak.
First call was to Pack's plumbing. Vanessa was amazing to talk with, knowledgeable and helped me work out some minor could be problems. Josh was able to slip me in on the way to another job and was spot on with fixing the problem. 15 minutes later, no more leaking. I would totally recommend this company to anyone. Customer service was amazing and the staff was super helpful.

$429 for a kitchen faucet replacement that did not include the cost of the new faucet. Total ripoff. Will never call them again. Just got mugged.
5587 Commonwealth Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32254
If I could give them less than 1 star If I could. Charged me $525.00 (FLAT FEE) to change a broken shower handle. (They even told me I got a good rate!) Told me everyone charges that amount. They were there less than 2 hrs (and that included the time to run to Home Depot for the part!). Didn't have to go through Drywall either. Not sure how they ended up with a name like Affordable. Total rip-off. They didn't even care when I told them next time I'd go elsewhere.

Had two prior quotes with other reputable company's a while back and his quote was double that. When I asked what justified the cost, in terms of the labor, his snarky response was that he didn't need my business and to move on

Got a quote from another plumber to install a kitchen faucet that was outrageous. Bought my own online and Dave Turner Plumbing installed it perfectly (AND fixed the lack of shut off valves under my sink) in just over an hour for a very reasonable fee. We will definitely call them again.

They were immediately responsive! Great customer service!
Thanks for solving my issue... and the price was amazing!

It's like they're operating out of their bedroom closet, sometimes they're there but most of the time they're not. Some disorganized Irish-sounding woman named Theresa can't keep addresses or times or dates straight for her life. We had to have them come out twice just to diagnose the problem correctly, it's simply not worth it. The only plumbing company that is worse in town is AZ Remodeling and Plumbing, mainly because they're shady.
