1st Place Leak Detection

We recently had a slab water leak at home, which was a little stressful to begin with. Our initial hope was to get it all resolved promptly to prevent further water damage, and to have a plumber, we felt comfortable and reliable.  Ken made it extremely easy for us. He was very professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and attentive. He even took the time to reach out to me personally to say, Thank you for giving him a chance. Shows how much he values and cares for what he does. It's pretty cool to see that humanistic part of businesses. To anyone feeling hesitant, worried, or scared, I can guarantee it's normal, but Ken will get you taken care of. Thank you again for your help and the pleasant, easy, non stressful experience. It's nice to have hot water again :)

Kenny is efficient and reliable! He is an excellent plumber and extremely knowledgeable. He repaired our slab leak and did so with a lot of care to make sure our home was disrupted as minimally as possible. He even noticed our hot water heater was tilted due to the water leak and contacted our insurance adjuster himself because he didn't want us to have more problems! We highly recommend Kenny. We recently had a hot water slab week under our downstairs bathroom. After careful consideration, I decided to hire Ken to do the needed repair. Ken used several testing methods to determine what pipe the leak was in. We decided to have him make two cuts of the affected hot water line in order to push PEX piping through the existing copper line. It worked great! Cutting of drywall was very minimal, in fact we'll just leave them be since we may need future access. Ken's pricing was very fair and the guy knows his stuff! He has many years of experience doing this and it was nice having somebody I felt I could trust.

Ken was great! Responsible, honest, reliable and cheap! I am glad I have a go to plumber now! Highly recommended!

We have had two slab leaks in the past 5 hrs. Our house is fairly large, and after a couple people gave us bad information, we found Ken (Thank God). He came, went straight to work, guaranteeing us he will definitely find it. He sure did, and in record speed!  So of course leak no. 2 we had no hesitation, Ken came through for us again! Super good! Ken checks all the boxes. He is polite, professional, good for his word, confirms his appointments, and totally trustworthy.  In this day and age, customer service is overall poor.  Ken is refreshingly on top of his business and makes the customer feel important.  If anyone has a simliar situation, do NOT hesitate to call Ken.

Kenny came out to my house and replaced our water heater that was leaking.  He was prompt and efficient and removed the old one.  He was fast and friendly.  I will definately keep his number to use in the future.  Thanks for being quick and getting the job done right.

Ken from 1st Place Leak Detection repaired a slab leak that had flooded not only my master bathroom, but the bathroom of my neighbor in the adjoining condo. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He showed up when he said he would and communicated directly with the insurance adjuster. I could not be happier with his work and his prices are fair and reasonable for someone with his obvious skill and expertise. I wouldn't hesitate to use him for any plumbing projects,; he is clearly one of the best in his field!

My wife noticed a hot spot on our living room floor adjacent to the garage where the laundry and water heater was located and immediately we turned to google for possible causes.  Needless to say the search results where scary doom and gloom of a possible slab leak and costly repair. The next day,  I spoke with Ken over the phone and he came later that day to investigate possible causes.  He did a thorough check to all the pipes in the house and gave me the good news I could hope for and that my issue was the water heater pressure relief valve and not the dreaded slab leak.  Apparently my pressure release valve was faulty and was releasing hot water through the pipes that ran underneath the living room floor hence the hot spot in that  floor space.  Ken gave me the option to save money and fix it myself by showing me what needs to be done but at that moment I was over elated the problem was not bigger than I had initially thought so I was very happy to pay the man to finish the job.  He even went out of his way to change to copper piping since the previous install was not of his liking. Thanks for being honest and  you definitely gained a lifetime costumer Ken.!!!

Ken responded out to my house for a slab leak and was incredibly courteous to me and my family and was very knowledgeable of his trade. Diagnosed the problem on Tuesday and I called him late afternoon/early evening he texted me back and said he would come to repair the leak Wednesday morning. He kept me up to date on his arrival and he came and repaired the pipe. Would recommend again and again , truly a pleasure doing business with him!
