Arizona Termite, Pest and Weed

We had our termite treatment 10/22 after I noticed multiple termite tubes on our home. Glenn came out the next day to inspect the house. He explained the entire process and was nothing but kind. I didn't even bother calling another company for an estimate and they came out the next day for our treatment. We haven't seen any signs of termites since. Thank you!!!

Glenn was extremely helpful in helping me to deal with a recurring termite problem. He was very open about available options and did not try to steer me into a more complex and invasive treatment than was necessary. He clearly knows his business and I'd highly recommend his company to anyone dealing with pest issues.

Glenn @ Arizona Termite Pest & Weed is my go-to for any concerns within their title.  I noticed a few termite kickout holes in a room and Glenn quickly resolved the problem.  A while later, I noticed one other hole from what appeared to be a new colony.  We caught it quickly and again, Glenn came to the rescue (with next day service).  Not only was he on time, but he was early (and I'm a big If you're early, you're on time person).  Will certainly continue to use Arizona Termite Pest & Weed as needed.

John came out to help us do a preventative termite treatment. Our home had previously had an infestation of termites before we bought it and we figured it's likely time to treat it again.
Not only did John educate us on termites and the treatment they helped us clear the area, explain what to do and expect, offered to help clean up after as well.

They even left our house cleaner than when it started. I'm happy with the service and I would recommend them to anyone. This is a very kind, friendly, and educational company. Thank you!

I was very satisfied with the service. I got a fast response to my voicemail and then a visit the next day. We had a small termite problem just starting in one corner of the inside of the house. I'd done a lot of work to the soil outside that corner of the house and with the rain the termites got active and we had a small mud line on the baseboard. The technician Jairo answered all my questions, didn't push me to buy more than I needed and treated the area outside and inside thoroughly. Glenn Pifer with Arizona Termites Pest and Weed has raise the bar in getting your house treated for termites!  He did such a fabulous job on explaining to me and my wife how the process would take place as well as explaining in depth where and why the holes would be drilled around my house and patio.

He even took the time to explain why he uses the pesticide he does and I believe he uses the best products on the market!  If there was a better product out there I'd be using it he said.

We have lived in our home since it was built 17 years ago and I have only ever seen one scorpion in my house,  While Glenn was killing termites a scorpion nest was found underground and a couple of scorpions ran out as their home was being flooded. Yes, the treatment kills all subterranean insects!

We had the treatment done a few months back and I have not seen a single bug around my house since that time.

We could not recommend Glenn  enough and he provided excellent service to the point that we have actually passed along many recommendations to personal friends to have Glenn treat their home and they have also enjoyed a pest free home!

Glenn came to our house and took the time to educate me on termites.  He checked the termite tubes and said they were inactive.   Instead of selling me a complete termite treatment he told me how to do it myself!  He sprayed for bugs and only charged me for that and nothing for the termite inspection.  I would recommend this company and won't use anyone else!

Called on Monday and experienced an Extremely responsive and helpful staff to help me schedule an inspection by Wednesday. Over the last few years I've interviewed 2-3 other termite companies and had never been impressed nor felt comfortable letting them near my home with a drill and chemicals. Excellent people to work with! They are effective, trustworthy and easy to work with. Wendy was great in setting up all our scheduling needs and communicating with us. John took care of our weeds, sprayed for bugs  and treated our home for termites. We are super satisfied with the results- no more weeds and no more pests! We will definitely use them again.

I can't say enough good things about this company - they are EXACTLY who you want to hire to handle all of your pest needs - they also did a great job with weed control - for the first property I purchased in Arizona they helped me with my termite issues and squashed them quickly and thoroughly and for the second property they did a full pest spray on short notice when I had 16 trees removed to make sure the pests didn't get inside. I also had out of control weeds in my yard and they helped me get that under control. On top of fantastic service they are fantastic people to work with - you won't be disappointed.

Arizona Termite, Pest and Weed company is the BEST! He came to our home and did a termite inspection at NO CHARGE! Yes, have you ever heard that? Us either.
We had 3 termite tubes that were worried about, and after inspecting the tubes, the outside of our house and the sides, he concluded the tubes were inactive and that we had nothing to worry about! I asked how much we owed him and he said we didn't owe him anything!

Our home inspector found termite tubes in our attic (which is really just a crawlspace). We were concerned the tubes were active and that there was damage to our framing. We called Arizona Termite and they were able to send someone out to look at it the very same day. We have a 10 year warranty with them and have used it several times since we've been in the house. We appreciate their professionalism and fast service!

A few termite tubes appeared in my dining room out of nowhere. I was scared! I had my usual pest company take a look. They said it wasn't too bad yet and then quoted me $600/one time + $28/month! That's a lot of money to me, so I decided to get a second opinion.

Glenn was able to come out to my house the very next day. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and honest. He actually got up on a step stool, used a flash light, and did some scraping, unlike the other guys who took a quick look from a distance. I also showed him another spot that the other company said was active and he said it was old and not to worry.

After teaching me how termites work, he told me that the problem was probably gone and that I shouldn't spend any money on treatment at the moment. He simply told me to call him back if the tubes started to grow again. It's 2-3 weeks later and he was right - the tubes have not reformed and I haven't seen anymore signs of termites.

Wow, wow, wow. 5 stars from the moment I called and spoke with Wendy to the second that John finished the job!

I LOVE supporting locally owned businesses and this one just warmed my heart. I arrived home from vacation to find a small trail of sawdust + tiny little bugs scurrying around in our master bathroom. Um, YIKES. I immediately googled termites to see what they looked like and YUP, that is what they were! SO, I whipped out my handy dandy Yelp app and came across this wonderful company! The best part, they even have a Yelp deal!

John was able to make it over the day that I called and not only that, he was able to treat the area that day as well! He discussed all of the options from cheapest to most effective to tenting which wasn't necessary at this point. I decided that I never want to see those bad boys again, so give me the full shebang - a highly effective spot treatment! He drilled from the outside in and completely soaked the area. BUH BYE TERMITES! Crossing fingers that they don't pop up anywhere else around here but I feel great knowing that it is all taken care of for now. John thoroughly checked the entire house to ensure that they were only in our master bath. Luckily, that was the case and I hope that it stays that way! I don't like those pesty little things!

The best service from the start to finish! If you want someone that really responds back on time and gets the stuff done in a timely manner, John and Glenn are the ones to go with. I've contacted their business for taking care of silverfish and other insects that we noticed inside and outside the home. John replied back with the estimate with in few minutes on yelp! (It's like texting him directly on his cell phone. You ask something and he replies back immediately)
He set up the appointment with Glenn, who is amazing!! He educated me on the product he is going to be using and how it helps us from  silverfish and insects. These guys are very professional and are serious about their business and customers.

Cannot recommend this company highly enough! From scheduling with Wendy to treatment with John, I am so grateful to have found such a responsible, reliable, and hardworking company. John came out over a holiday weekend to treat our house for termites and, despite 100+ degree temperatures, he and his crew worked diligently for 10 hours to make sure the job was done correctly. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable about the entire treatment process and made a frustrating situation much better. Call them, you will not be disappointed!

I had noticed roaches on my back patio at night and wanted to resolve the issue before they started coming in the house.  Wendy was very nice on the phone and set me up with an appointment a couple of days later.  Glen arrived at the arranged time.  His customer service was excellent, he was very knowledgeable about the product, and he takes his work very seriously.  In the morning when I looked at the patio there were plenty of dead roaches to tell me that what he did worked.  I highly recommend.

The team was very helpful. They were the only company I could find to help with bio hazard (rat poop) cleanup that were knowledgeable and specialized in this area. Timely responses provided from Yelp messaging and direct contact with the office. Great customer service. The job was done to our satisfaction. Called owner Wendy for service. She was professional, courteous and efficient. Very pleasant lady. One of her employees, Scott, was at our home the next day. Scott did a house and yard spray in no time flat. Also did a drain job on all of our drains to eliminate drain flies. He's da man. Gregarious, quick and pleasant. A transplant from NY state. We are now having ATPW do bi-monthly pest treatments for us to keep the little pests at bay. I highly recommend these folks for your pest control.

I noticed a termite tube in my garage the other day. I feared the worst because everything I read said I'd be out a minimum of $200 and it could cost as much as $2,000. I searched around and read reviews and settled on calling Arizona Termite Pest and Weed. I called and left a message and they called back within a couple of hours. The lady I spoke to said they were booked all week, but that she'd check with Glenn and see if he could work me in the next day anyway. It ended up working out that he could come out the next morning to check the level of infestation and give me a free estimate for treatment. When he arrived, he checked out the spot in my garage I mentioned and verified it was still active, then found a couple more inactive tubes I didn't even notice.

The thing that had worried me most was that I had been told that, because my home was block construction, treating any kind of infestation would require drilling and more, which is what pushes the price into the thousands. Glenn talked to me about how termites behave and how, with my type of home, they usually give up because they can't easily get to anything they like to eat, so seeing a big infestation is pretty rare. I only point this out because, obviously, what worked for me in my block-construction home may not be what works for everyone. But, in my case, he said I could spot treat it and that would stop the activity and likely kill off that particular colony. At that point, they hadn't made it to anything other than my garage floor.

Here's the really cool thing- even after spending the time to come out and inspect my home and talk with me about my issue, Glenn still told me what my options were if I wanted to treat it myself, and it wasn't in a salesy way, like some do, with the Oh, you can go get such-and-such, but it's not as good as the stuff I have. No. He gave me some honest and practical advice, and he also offered to spot treat it for $60. That was it. Done. Arizona Termite Pest and Weed, to me, feels like a very honest and humble company. Both the phone rep and Glenn were friendly, polite, and professional. I could not ask for more. I recommend them 100% and will call on them in the future for sure. Thanks, guys!

I was very impressed with the service we received from this company.  The gentleman that gave us a quote was very knowledgeable and honest.  A few days after treatment the termites were no longer visible.  Very pleased.

I called this company based on many of the reviews I'd read here. I'm for the most part a DIY pest control (ordering legit products online then using them correctly) The last few years we've had bouts of recurring termite tubes occurring here and there which I'd drill and foam, never to return. After another appeared in our bedroom wall, and ceiling, I decided to give them a call for their opinion. Wife was getting paranoid and I wanted a warm and fuzzy that there was nothing major.

Glen came out on time, confirmed the tubes were dry and old, saw nothing anywhere to indicate live activity. He advised to keep doing as I was doing, educated me on termite behaviors and indicators, then went on his way. I will use this company to treat my home prior to selling (and for any other concerns which may pop-up before then)

I sent an online request for a termite inspection because I noticed a termite tube coming down from my ceiling.  Right away, Wendy, the office manager contacted me to set up an appointment.  Glenn came out and examined the tube.  He said that the tube wasn't active and therefore there was no need to treat the area.  It is so refreshing to find an honest person.  He could have easily charged me for a spot treatment and I would never have known it wasn't necessary.  I will definitely refer Glenn and AZ Termite to all my friends and colleagues.

On a side note: I had also contacted another termite company, as I always contact at least two companies whenever I need work done at my house.  The other company's inspector came the day before and took a look at the tube, didn't examine it, and asked if I wanted the whole house treating.  I said, no, unless there are termites elsewhere which I had not seen.  So, he took a look around and said to treat this tube would require a spot treatment at a cost of $350.  I'm glad I waited for Glenn to come the next day.

In the future, I only need to call AZ Termite now that I have found an honest professional termite company!

Last year we used a termite company to take care of termites we found in our pool house.  Five months later, the termites were still there.  The other company did not want to honor their warranty and wanted us to pay more.  My neighbor gave me AZ Termite phone number and I called and boy was I pleased.  First of all, I spoke to Wendy who was absolutely amazing.  She had Glenn come out and give us an estimate.  Glenn was also a genuine guy.  I would recommend this company to anyone.  They are beyond amazing.  We were so pleased with the work they did.  I will never use anyone else ever again.

Glenn just stopped by my house to do an inspection after I found a termite tunnel. He walked the entire outside and the garage and didn't find anything (luckily!) but the tunnel I had found did have a termite pop out of it when he scraped it! Yikes! Luckily he was able to do a quick and super affordable spot treatment.

He was super friendly, timely... and totally patient while I tried to figure out if my purchase of the current Yelp deal went through. I had no idea where to find it and for a second thought maybe I hadn't bought it but I had  I'm a mess sometimes.

I've called this place multiple times over the course of a week.  They NEVER answer.  I've left them 2 messages.  I have not received a phone call back.  Then I texted, and suddenly got a response back that they called me a left me 2 messages.  I have no messages and no call record.  Their number isn't blocked or filtered.  They are simply one of those businesses that are totally unresponsive, and think it's perfectly ok.  I can only imagine how they would be if I had a warranty issue I needed resolved.  I can't stand businesses like this.

Absolutely AMAZING! I've struggled with ants for a few months now. I had a company do pavers back in March, they stirred up their nests so I've dealt with them since. Unfortunately, they started coming into the house from all of that rain recently.

I called this company to help, Scott was out almost immediately and I haven't seen an ant since. They got rid of my ant issue!!! I am so amazed that they were able to do this. Great job Scott with Arizona termite and pest!!!! I highly recommend you!!! A+++

I purchased a home at the beginning of 2016 that had a small Termite problem in only (1) area of the house.  The sellers had contracted another company (Budget Brothers) to drill and treat the home and transferred the home warranty to us.  We were under warranty with this company till nearly the end of 2017.  

Budget Brothers was a joke, they were never able to eradicate my Termite problem.  Budget Brothers spot treated the effected area multiple times after there initial Drilling Treatment from early 2015.  Never did I see a decrease in activity while Budget Brothers was contracted to be working on our house.

Budget Brothers came out over a half a dozen times to spot treat this one affected area but never was able to correct the problem.  

The problem actually became much worse as time passed on.  September 2016 I saw a huge increase in activity.  I was clearing tubes from my ceiling daily that would reach 6-12 long, and finally had enough.  

So after nearly a year of dealing with Budget Brothers we contracted another company to treat the area even though we still were under warranty with Budget Brothers till 2017.

After (1) visit from John at Arizona Termite, Pest and Weed we finally saw the termite activity come to an end for the first time since November 2015 (when we first started to pursue purchasing the home).  It was $150 to treat the effected area and they warrantied the work for the next 10 years.

Bottom Line, if you have a Termite/Pest control problem, you need to call Arizona Termite, Pest and Weed so you can get the job done the right way, the first time!

John is fantastic. I used AZTPW.com a few years ago for my initial termite inspection and treatment. I made an appointment for follow-up, and John showed up right on schedule. He remembered my house and the treatment he had previously provided. John is dog friendly lol and my Belgian Malinois took right to him as he went from room to room, and in and it of the house. We couldn't be happier with John and our decision to use AZTPW. He treated the house again and will be available for follow-up again if needed. We have a 10 year full warranty with them. 2 thumbs up!

I found Arizona Termite, Pest and Weed only after talking with a couple of well known national companies.
Both attempted to quote the work I needed over the phone. Both quoted extremely high, and neither would do any work without me having signed a multiple visit contract.
John arrived to do his free inspection, confidently explained what issues he found, what treatments he would prescribe, and lastly, provide me with an amazing quote that easily fit my budget. We made an appointment for him to come back after a rain day to do the work.
John showed up on time, went straight to task, and kept me informed every step of the way. He didn't mind if I leaned over his shoulder to watch and ask questions. He drilled through my cement slabs and dug trenches to reach the termites where they lived, and ultimately pumped 24 gallons of killer into their tunnels. John then sealed the holes with cement and back filled the trench. He also sprayed the entire perimeter of the property, the house, and the base of the trees for ants and other crawling insects.
And finally, John, who is also a certified arborist, provided loads of great information about my trees and the weeds, gave me a contact number for a man who would remove a tree, and gave me tips on putting down a new layer of gravel around both yards.
No better service have I received from any person or business. John enjoys what he does, loves to impart his knowledge to his customers, and at all times, treats the customer and the property with dignity and respect.
I would easily recommend John and his company to anyone.

No shady, pushy, plans or outrageous costs for long term warranties (once they have your money I've found many in the past who develop amnesia and don't seem to recall ever having been to your place) John really knows his stuff and he is enthusiastic about his craft.

He came out and explained lots too me and treated my place for just general insects. I'm not particularly horrified by bugs in general and actually think scorpions are cool but still don't care to live with them. He gave me a few options for dealing with bats in our porch area.

If you've struggled with other companies who send out poorly trained guys who couldn't kill a bug with a flamethrower then give John a call at ATPW. The only disappointment you'll deal with is that head slapping moment when you say, I should've called them in the beginning.

I don't know Glenn but can't imagine John staking his reputation on anyone less professional than he is.

If you are just looking to make your life harder, keep looking, but if you just want your life to be a bit easier and hand off your pest problems to someone else then call them now.

We decided we were not going to come out today is what Wendy  told me when I called 15 minutes after someone was supposed to arrive at my house.
We called to scheduled a appointment in hopes to solve our cricket problem. Wendy called me twice before the our appointment to ask how I would pay for the service. I let her know I needed to check with my wife but I confirmed with her that I would be able to give a card number or check at time of service. She let me know that was fine and confirmed my appointment.
Fast forward to the day of service no one had arrived for our 7 am appointment. I called and check in to make sure someone was still on there way when Wendy let me know I never submitted payment so they decided they would not come out today. I've never heard of a company that requires payment before services are rendered.
I understand if this is their business practice to insurance payment before they provide a service but it would have been great to know they were going to cancel my appointment so I didn't have to lose time from work.
Just a huge waste of time.

I called them this am, and they were able to come out right away! They answered quickly, not a voice mail, then gave me a good price and expected time frame! Nice to have such efficient and professional service!

I can't begin to express my extreme gratitude to, respect for and pleasure in highly recommending this company. The entire team is compassionate, supremely responsive and highly educated in their fields. Wendy is amazing. They truly came to our rescue after an extremely unfortunate experience with, yes, BED BUGS!
Having them in the first place is horrifying and extremely stressful (and expensive!). We are very clean people who were stunned that THAT could happen to US, BUT it did.

We contacted our pest regular, reputable, company who assured us it was a very small problem, there were only FIVE of them in our entire house. The problem is that the product they used created health issues for my husband, and it didn't kill the eggs...

I owned my 3000 s.f. block wall home at 87th St and Camelback for 11 years and battled termites for all that time.  Original house 2300 s.f was added onto twice by original owner.  Termite activity was ONLY in the add-on buildings, NEVER the original house, because of the long-lasting but now banned chemicals they used in that day 1966 to treat the soil under foundation.  

I have a 11-year fat folder full of bids by so many termite companies, ranging from $495 with Budget Brothers (for 3-year warranty) to $2700 by Truly Nolen.  All companies wanted to treat the entire house, because they said otherwise they cannot warranty their work.  

My most unhappy experience was with Budget Brothers.  They charged me $495 for whole house treatment with 3-year warranty.  Every time new activity arose during the 3 years, lady who answered the phone would tell me Knock down the tubes and wait a few days to see if activity comes back.   She also told me that the NEW termites keep flying to my house (meaning they do not live there, just passing by) and then emit pheromones to attract more termites to my house.   This to me, was said to dispute my conclusion that their chemical did not work.  Sounded like putting me off, so finally I said There is obvious continuing activity I want you to come out and treat!. I finally told her that it doesn't matter where the termites come from, termites are termites that their chemical should be killing.  Well, then, she had to admit what I was saying was true, so she sent out a crew to treat about 4 times during my warranty period of 3 years.  

More than 3 months after 4th reinfestation treatment on Mar 12, 2014 during warranty period by Budget Brothers in my garage, extensive new infestation appeared in treated area.   Since activity appeared after the three months in corner of garage that Budget Brothers already treated with Dupont Altriset .050%, I accused the owner Jeff of using plain water.  The concentration of mud tunnels hanging from ceiling was so horrifying that other companies said they've never seen anything so bad, and took photos.  LONG mud tubes hung from ceiling in long rows (from wood behind them) like an upside down fence.  Budget Brothers refused to come out again because they said my warranty expired, EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS THE SAME AREA they had treated only months before, and treatments are supposed to last 8 years, if application was done right.  More mud tunnels appeared over the next 12 months in treated area.

By this time I wised up about searching on Yelp for any business category and arranging results by Highest Rated first !   Arizona Termite, Pest, and Weed was one of the top 4 with 5 stars, that I had come out to give me bids.  The other companies, like the past 11 years, gave me bids for WHOLE HOUSE ONLY treatment.

I chose Glenn Pifer/Arizona Termite, Pest, and Weed because he volunteered You never seen any activity on the outside of the block walls all around your house, have you?  (No)  You never seen any activity on the inside of your house, have you? (No)   So WHY WASTE YOUR MONEY TREATING THOSE AREAS THAT HAVE NEVER HAD ACTIVITY???!!!, he told me.   Well this is so logical, why didn't the other companies ask me that?  That is because they want to make money on whole house treatment.  Their reasoning is if they spot treat, the termites will move to areas that were not treated, and then I will be unhappy, so no warranty for spot treatment.   But fact is I NEVER seen any activity in original house, only the add-on rooms.

No one in 11 years VOLUNTEERED Why treat areas you've never seen activity in?   Glenn was upset that other companies made scars in my red brick paving by drilling and patching with blobs that do not match, when it was all unnecessary.  Glenn quoted me only $200 to treat the garage with the fence-like or hanging spaghetti on rod horrid  infestation .   I was so unhappy with Budget Bros who told me this infestation came from termites who were just flying by my house, not because their chemical didn't work.  

When I called Glenn and said OK do it, I called 4 pm, and he said he could come in the morning the VERY NEXT DAY (Aug 25, 2015), and this was when his father just got put in ICU and not expected to live (he is still hanging in there at date of this review)!   I was so taken aback at such fast service.  He came ON TIME with another helper, spent an hour using Termador HE .06% with 5 year warranty for treated areas, when no other company in 11 years would warranty a spot treatment.  I waited 6 months to write this review to make sure termites did not come back.  FINALLY NO TERMITES and only cost $200 including 5 year warranty!

I threw away all the other company's bids and treatment histories over last 11 years in my folder, except Budget Bros cos I am so angry at them.  Only AZ Termite, Pest, is in my termite folder now.  MY Termite company for the rest of my life in AZ !  Thank you Glenn!

Very professional from setting up the appointment to giving me a quote and getting the job done. Glenn was very knowledgeable and friendly. He didn't prescribe more work than needed to be done, and in this case just a spot treatment. I highly recommend and would use them again in the future. Hopefully, that won't be necessary.

My mom's house had the tell-tale signs of a termite infestation. To help her out I got on Yelp to check some reviews. I was looking for an honest company that would not try to upsell us on things like repeated monthly treatments. I settled on ATP&W and made an appointment through the app. Glenn was able to come out the next day. He was friendly, professional, and instructive - taking the time to educate us on all things termite. After a comprehensive visual inspection of the property, he suggested a spot treatment at the active areas. Afterward, he gave us his card, encouraging us to call if we had any questions or issues. ATP&W is one of those rare companies that treats its customers as if they were friends or family.

This family-owned business is honest, responsive and caring. Glenn came out, inspected my house for active termites, and found the tubes I saw were dried and short lived.   There was no charge for the inspection and I had even planned to spend almost $2000 for their 10 year warranty.  I recommend this honest business because of their ethics and their friendly and responsive people.

We had a huge scorpion problem when we moved into our house but John fixed all of that. Wendy is great about sending reminders when they are due to come back and they are always there when we need them. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with John, his service, or his company. John was referred to me and everyone I know has had nothing but similar, positive experiences with AZTPW. You won't be disappointed.

Glenn and Wendy are awesome.  We found signs of termites late last year and called to have someone come take a look.  Glenn came out and said it looked like they were gone and that the cold weather would most likely kill them and he didn't feel right charging us for something we may not need so no treatment was done at that time.

Fast forward to 7 months later and again signs of termite tubes.  Called and spoke with Wendy and set up an appointment for Glenn to come out and look again.  Came out but again the termites were no longer active so no treatment done.  Thought about it for a few days though and kept an eye out for the pests and decided since we'd seen them now in 3 different rooms on 3 sides of our house we should probably just treat the house and get rid of the problem for good.

Set up an appointment through Wendy who walked me through the process and answered any questions I had.  Glenn came out a few days later and treated the house professionally and quickly at a fair price, and with a 10 year warrantee hopefully we won't have to worry about these little pests again!  These guys truly care and provide great, quality service.

He did a very thorough termite inspection! Scott presented to me three service plans. There was no pressure at all to choose the best plan for my needs! I currently do my own pest control for typical AZ pests, but not well versed in termites. I noticed some mud tubes in the garage and wanted to stay ahead of it so I called for an appointment and was able to get in the same day. When Glenn came out to my house I provided him with information on the recent termite activity that I noticed. He then proceeded to give me a quick tutorial on Subterranean Termites that was very informative and not pushy or salesman-like. He gave me a recommended treatment option for my situation and to let him know if the termite issue persists and we can look at different options. Oh... Best part, he was by far, the most affordable.  I got multiple quotes from several companies each with various warranties from 1yr to 10 yrs... I have had both Glen and John come out to my house to treat my weeds and termites. They come out quickly, and are both really helpful and friendly. I found them both to be very knowledgeable and extremely reasonable. I have recommended them to friends and I would continue to do so.

We met John a year ago when we found out we had funnel things coming down from the ceiling.  I did my research and from what I read online they were made by termites. We ended calling John at Arizona Termite, Pest & Weed.  He was punctual and confirmed what we saw.  Yes we had termites!!!  Freaking out and not knowing how much this was going to cost me to take care of the situation...John calmed me down and educated me on what we have and how we were going to get rid of them.  He was reasonably priced which I felt good about and he took care of the problem.

I found out that he sprays for weeds as well and anyone who has desert landscaping knows that after a couple of rains those pesky weeds rise fast and are everywhere!  John ended spraying my whole yard and within 2 days they were gone!!!  Yes I know I could have went to Lowes or Home Depot and bought a product to do the job but the industrial spray John uses works amazingly and is affordable!  Now my yard looks great! I contacted the company when I found evidence of termites in my block home.  John came out the next day for the inspection and confirmed my suspicion.  He came back a week later to treat the whole house and the cost was very reasonable.  I never thought a block home could have issues with termites but I know now!

I called them because when we were selling our home the buyers wanted assurance that there were no longer any termites. They got us on the books literally the next day. I had a great overall experience with Arizona Termite from scheduling to service to follow-up.  I would definitely recommend them to all.

I've been very happy with the service I've been provided thus far.  When I call, Wendy greets me by name and already has my next appointment pulled up (they always answer the phone).  Scott was our original sprayer, and he always took the time to greet me and listen to each concern I expressed.  Whenever he would find a pest, dead or alive, he would bring me out to see where he thought they were congregating and why.  Glenn is now our sprayer and he greets me each time with a smiling face and a Hello, Brother!.  If I find pests in between sprays, they come out to spray for free: It's on my way home; I don't mind!  They have a mom and pop feel as well as a professional responsiveness that we appreciate.  They always wear shoe covers in the house, and they work around my schedule.  If I were going to criticize anything, it would be their profile picture on Yelp.  We pay $60/mo.  We began service in September of 2018, and at the time of this review (June, 2019), we are very pleased.  I will update if that changes!

For a company that has such a glowing social media profile, I could not have been disappointed more. I called twice and left voice mails. After not getting a reply, I went to their website and emailed.  I received a apparently concerned reply, and asked for further communication either via phone or email. That was nearly 2 weeks ago, and nothing. It takes years to earn a customer, and seconds to lose one...

I noticed some termite tubes hanging from my bedroom ceiling and after reading about them online, I was so worried I was going to have to spend a ton of money to treat the issue.  My husband contacted AZ Termite, Pest and Weed through Yelp and they were quick to respond. My husband had sent a message sometime after 6pm, and they responded that same night.  Arriving right on time, Glenn came to look things over.  After knocking down the termite tubes and inspecting them, Glenn was pretty certain that the area was no longer active due to the tubes being very dry. I told him I had some activity in the garage as well and he was happy to inspect that space as well.  The whole time, Glenn was educating me on termites and how to prevent them.  I felt like he was being very honest and he didn't pressure me at all into spending money on pest control unless I wanted to.  He told me to contact him in 2 days to let him know if any termite tubes re-appeared. Luckily I have not seen any new activity.  I am so relieved! I will definitely call this company again if there are any future issues.

We saw a few termite tunnels, then a couple more, so we got  busy. I checked reviews on several companies and saw a common theme: expensive and not great reviews on most of them. I had one company come out and pretty much call me stupid because I questioned their price.
I called Arizona Termite and spoke to Glenn and was impressed just speaking to him. He came out the next day in a clean truck, dressed professionally, and a great personality. We walked the house and found several old tunnels and some new ones. He showed me, he explained everything clearly, and gave me options on what to do, as well as some very good prices.
He and his crew came two days later and did a very thorough job, including cleanup from the drilling, etc.
He walked me around again and showed me where and what they had done, what to watch for, and explained the guarantee.

As a Realtor, I was referred to these guys from a past client.  I needed to have a home treated for Termites, I called Jon he was out 2 days later and took care of the problem. I was so impressed with his professionalism and the way he cared for my client that I started referring all of my clients to them. I have them spray my home for scorpions and they have done an amazing job! I have 5 clients that now use Arizona termite pest and weed for routine pest control. I refer them to all of my clients!

Set up appointment for new services... Pest and weed management...had a 3 o'clock appointment and still no show or call. I called and left voicemail... No response! My time is valuable!  Apparently they are too busy to take on new clients!! So DON'T waste YOUR time! A customers time is money Too!!!!

I am so happy with the services I got from Arizona Termite, Pest and Weed. I walked into my office one night after work and realized that we had termite holes/dirt mounds coming out of the wall. I was completely horrified. I immediately imagined spending thousands and having to go through a lengthy, complicated process to get everything fixed. Came onto Yelp to try and find a reputable company and came across these guys! I requested a quote through Yelp to them at about 8:00pm on a weeknight and got a response from the owner within 30 minutes. I was shocked! Talk about putting my mind at immediate ease. They were able to come out and give me an estimate within 2 days and provided me with extremely cost reasonable options and fantastic warranties. They completed the work a week later! I could not be more happy and I feel like I'm in really good hands should these termites pop up again - but I don't expect they will!

I cannot say enough about this company from beginning to end.  Scott was wonderful to work with and did an outstanding job.  So thorough and detailed.  I was very comfortable with his work ethic.  From the first call to the service, it was the best.  Wendy was very professional on the phone. The items removed from my garage were restored looking better than before.  So impressed.  I so appreciate my package warranty and feel that I am in very good hands.

If I could give Glenn 10 stars, I would. He's been treating our home on an as-needed basis, being very careful with materials around our elderly dog. He only treats the problem, not using needless chemicals, if possible. He quickly comes over, and bye bye bugs!  Pricing is very reasonable, too. He's friendly, polite and I recommend this company as highly as possible!

I found John after calling several other places and not getting a call back. John was prompt, super friendly, honest and knew his stuff about the bugs plaguing my house. He not only treated my termite issue but also my Bermuda grass problem, both at a very competitive price. He's a busy guy and that's because he runs a great business. I'd recommend him to anyone with a termite, pest or weed problem.

Right now, our house is in chaos (remodeling).  We didn't need to hear from our monthly pest control people that they found termite tubes (on the same day the refrigerator died!).  A quick call to Arizona Termite, Pest and Weed brought the most competent, caring individual (Glenn), who took us step-by-step through identification, treatment, and prevention.  It turns out that our house is not going to collapse under the weight of termite infestation and I don't need to pay thousands for treatment.  This company is as good as it gets:  competent, fair, trustworthy, and honest.  The positive reviews are there for a reason (and I am picky).  I give this company my highest recommendation and will put them on my Keeper List for service; in addition, I will recommend them to my family and friends.

I called these guys for pest control after the monsoon all bugs decided to come out! When I called in I spoke to Wendy who was not only friendly, but she made sure she informed me of their process, but also maintained communication through scheduling with Glen. And Glen when he came to inspect, was very knowledgable but also professional and friendly. They also made sure they treated what they needed to and were very fair with pricing! I will have them on my referral list to my own clients for sure!

I called and left a message.  Got a call back and Glenn was out here in a hour or so.  Examined the entire perimeter down hands and knees, explaining everything as he went.  Said the problem was mostly that corner of the garage I noticed and best option would be to spot treat that.   Said we could do the entire perimeter but not necessary.  No hard sell for the bigger job.  I liked that.  Got his equipment, went do work doing a thorough job as I observed him.  Attitude is neat, professional, engaging, friendly..sense of humor... Was a pleasure.  I might go get some more termites just to have him come back and fix those as well!

We've been customers since 2013 and John has become so much more than just the pest control guy. Our children all know John and our littlest always tries to help him navigate throughout our home or sign the bill on the clipboard. John first treated our home when our soon-to-be 4 year old was about 4 months old and John was transitioning into forming his own company. He'd been a joy to work with at his former and now finito old gig so we knew we'd follow him over to his own company. In regard to the various Valley pest control companies we had tried, I always thought the typical if you exterminate quarterly or monthly you'll really notice a difference redundant kind of sales pitch was BS. However, to our pleasant surprise John never pushed us into anything. He's really a solution-finder and, for an insect phobic like myself, he truly takes a personal approach to his craft. We live downtown which comes with its positives (walking distance to food, entertainment etc) and negatives (pests of all kinds from the food, entertainment etc ) but John's regular visits (3 to 4 times annually) have made a significant difference and when he's here he genuinely takes the appropriate time and effort into perfecting our grounds. He's essentially gotten rid of all cockroaches and crickets and made a concerted effort to rid our home of those darn Springtime gnats. If you want a lifetime free of pesky pests I highly recommend AZTPW!

Being relatively new to Arizona we didn't know what the stuff was that appeared on our bathroom ceiling (termite tubes). We feared the worst both with respect to what the problem was and to finding a reputable company to deal with. My wife went to Yelp and found great reviews for this company - what a blessing! John got back to us right away and Wendy was very helpful and considerate in getting us scheduled. John is an extremely knowledgeable and personable professional. He knows his stuff and is happy to answer any/all questions and his treatment kills them dead! We highly recommend this company.

I have to add another nice review here.  I found some termite tubes on the garage floor a couple of days ago and they became bigger and started spreading, so I called the company yesterday and Glen just came over to inspect.  He showed up on time and looked around the house inside and outside.  He gave me some educational information about termite and gave me an affordable quote.  I had two other inspection appointments with other companies tomorrow and next Tuesday, but I just needed a spot treatment and he was ready for it, so I just decided to go ahead and have him treated.  We are lucky that our problem was small, and they were honest enough to tell me that we didn't need a whole house treatment.  I watched how he treated the garage, and he was quick and through. I am happy with their job.

Found evidence of termites on the ceiling. Glenn showed up at my door only twenty minutes after I called. He was very professional and did a great job. The price is reasonable too. Highly recommend!!!

Full Disclosure - I'm not a customer. However, I had a technical question about a termite treatment product and called ATPW. I called the company late in the day and spoke to Wendy. It soon became clear to both of us that I did not need a treatment. Nevertheless, she took the time to explain to me how it works and even followed up later that evening via email to confirm the information. I call that going above and beyond for a non-customer. Obviously when it comes time for my next treatment, the decision is already made as to which company we will use. Thank You Wendy!

John showed up right on time for my appointment and was great to work with. He checked out the house, including the crawl space, thoroughly for termite tubes. He quickly assessed the problem and explained options carefully. John was able to treat right away, and completed the job in the time promised. When he was done, there were no signs of the critters or the trench that he dug for the treatment. It was as if there never had been a problem. The cost was reasonable, and the work guaranteed. If I encounter other pests in the future, I would definitely call John again.

Had Glenn come down to spray the house for pests. He did a great job and went out of his way to educate me on what he was doing as well as how to inspect for termites. Would highly recommend this company.

I had Az Termite and Pest out to check on termite activity at one of my homes. There was only 2 tunnels we found so a spot treatment was all that was necessary.  John is very knowledgable and taught me quite a bit about pests and how to deal with other issues I've had, such as scorpions at my residence.  He cares about his business and goes out of his way to do a good job with a great attitude!  He is interesting to talk to as well.  I highly recommend this company for termite and pest control issues.  The price was very reasonable and there is no attempt to up-sell yearly treatment plans like most termite companies.  He uses a quality product that should last for about 10 years.

John was up-front about the work he'd be doing when I called him, then he showed up on time and was super friendly when he did the termite spot treatment for me. I was a little tense and nervous, but he quickly eased my nerves and talked me through what he was doing. I'd recommend him to anyone!

This company is AMAZING!!!!  I had artificial turf installed last May and my two dogs have done their dooty on it for about a year.  Well, let me tell you that has brought on the flies!  They were EVERYWHERE! They infested my yard and were starting to infest my house. I tried so many things to get rid of them (fly traps, lights, bug sprays, artificial turf cleaner, etc) but nothing worked.  John came out and literally doused everything inside and out (including my trash cans, the artificial turf, the outside walls, the fence, bushes, etc.) He said he mixed 3 ingredients and one was to kill them, while another sterilizes them.  Well let me tell you... the first day was horrible... it seemed like there were more flies than before but now, one week later... the flies are GONE!!!!  Of course we still have a couple of flies that land on the dooty but not hundreds or thousands like before!  John is a miracle worker and if I could give his company 10 stars I would!  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU AZTPW!!!!

Saw some evidence of Termites in my garage.  I called yesterday and they promptly called back and set a time for this morning.  Glenn showed up and quickly determined that I do not have a problem at this time.  He is smart, professional and knows what he is doing.  Highly recommended.

Top notch service! Do yourself a favor and just call them first, you will be 100% impressed with every interaction from the office, to the technician. We live in Estrella Mountain Ranch and they came all the way out here to consult and treat our home. We have not had a single bug, scorpion or spider since the day they left (we averaged a spider a day, and a scorpion every other week in the house). We also decided to do the termite treatment the other day, our technician Scott arrived on time and went to work trenching and drilling the perimeter of our house in 110 degree heat, 4 hours later our landscape was restored and the job completed. Scott gave detailed explanations of the procedures and processes prior to starting, followed by an in-depth explanation afterward detailing the what to expect moving forward. Amazing communication all the way around. We highly recommend Arizona Termite and Pest!

I discovered termites in my house, called AZ Termite. These guys were awesome. Arrived on time, very knowledgeable, explained what was going on and why, and fixed the problem. Turned out I had termites in about half the house, and they put together a good, one-time treatment plan with a 2 year guarantee. Priced well too. Use them, they are really good.

Prompt, fair pricing, courteous, friendly - all rolled into one. I am not one who would usually write reviews but could not stop from adding one for Arizona Termites and pests. I had a termite tube in my garage and after reading all the positive reviews I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with Arizona Termite and pests. The appointment was at 7 in the morning and 'Mr. Friendly' Glenn was at my door texting at 6:50am. Glenn suggested spot treatment for the tube and completed the treatment inside 15 mins. He checked with me if I found their company info in yelp and so he gave me a $25 yelp discount on the price quoted (not that I would have changed my reviews even if I did not get it :)). The most important thing is he did not upsell or scare me once which is most important for most of us these days. I dont want pests or termites at my home, but if I find any again, I know who to call. Keep up the good work !!!

I found a very small termite tube in one of my bedrooms.  This bedroom appears to be a bit of hotbed for termites as this is where I found them 10 years ago.  I treated the termites then but I knew I was overdue.  Based on reviews on Yelp I called AZ TPW and a rep came out the next day.  Scott, the rep, was great, he inspected the house top to bottom and said he saw no other evidence.  He didn't see urgency in having a whole house treatment, but suggested I should consider getting it done in the  room I saw it in primarily because that's where I saw them last.  I appreciated he didn't try to upsell me and told me just what he thought I needed.  He came out the next day and took care of everything.  I also inquired about a pigeon problem I was having after he was done.  He took care of it and at a price that was far more reasonable than some other quotes I got.  I'm glad I came across this company and would definitely use again.

Arizona Termite, Pest & Weed (Glenn) just left my home, I just had to submit this review as soon as I could. I cannot speak highly enough of this company (and this gentlemen) - the work ethic, commitment to getting the job done, putting the customer first, totally reasonable rates, etc. - all of that was evident from my experience from just yesterday (when I placed the phone call) to today. It's unfortunate that we find ourselves blown away to come across companies that provide a service to people, do it with passion and aren't out to suck every last dollar out of you - it sometimes feels that companies like this are simply too good to be true... well, in this case, there's proof they still exist. Last week I came across a few mud tubes (about 4, all within a span of about 2 ft.), I started to become anxious as to what damage was being done and how much had already been done to our home which we've only owned for just over 5 months. I called Arizona T,P&W yesterday, spoke with Wendy (an absolutely sweet gal) and this morning at 9:30am Glenn was at my door. He explained termite behavior, their increased propensity around monsoon season and explained that the company employs the most effective treatment on the market (Termidor HE). Glenn recommended a spot treatment of the affected area and identified gaps large enough between the foundation and paving so as to avoid having to drill - all of which helped the pocketbook. Glenn (who couldn't represent Arizona T,P&W in a more positive light) is a gentlemen with integrity and thorough knowledge of his trade. When a homeowner encounters the presence of termites we're tempted to become anxious and the anxiety is soon compounded with the thought of being taken advantage of - we're desperate and need to stop the bleeding as it were, all of which tends to cloud our judgment. Arizona Termite, Pest & Weed control was an answered prayer - the issue was resolved (with a 10-year warranty) and most importantly it's good to know there are companies out there that genuinely desire to provide a needed service to the public with honesty and integrity.

I don't know how much more 'good' can be said about this company but I think they are awesome! I am a new, 1st time home buyer. When I bought my home, there were signs of termites. It has been almost 1 yr and I wanted someone reputable to take a look and tell me if I needed to renew the warranty that came with my home. First of all, they emailed be back within a couple of hours, around 6 pm, and were at my home at 7am the next day! Glenn was on time & called me before coming to the door to let me know he was there. He was VERY friendly, professional and most of all, very educating! He told me to NEVER pay for a warranty, if the home needs to be treated, it should come with a warranty. He showed me what to look for and how to tell if I have an active tube. Gave me his number and told me to call him in a week if I had any activity changes because I did have one tube that I need to keep an eye on. Look no further, these guys are honest and professional.... and affordably priced!!

These guys are great! Glenn came to my house earlier this week to check out 2 termite tunnels that I had on the side of my foundation in the backyard. I was worried because I wasn't sure how long they had been there since we are doing some repair work on the house. He did a thorough inspection around the perimeter of the house and inside the garage. The tunnels were active pilling around the soil at the base. Then he told me he could do a spot treatment and it will take care of them. His price was reasonable and offered a great warranty on his work/product. Once he was finished, he told me that information was always free and that if I had any other questions, he was available by phone,text, or email. This was good to know. I also asked him about a tree we have in the yard that needs to come down before we put an addition on the back of the house. He said that his partner handles that part of the business but to be sure that the tree is injected to kill the roots before cutting it down. Overall, awesome work-- professional and honest!

If you are looking for knowledgeable, trustworthy, and reasonably-priced professionals in the termite, weed and pest control business, look no further. I just bought a house in Laveen and discovered that I had gophers in my front-side yard and backyard. Thought I could trap them myself but after doing a bit of research, I realized expending energy in that direction would have been futile. A good friend in the landscaping business recommended John to me and I am so glad that he did. I had a tough work schedule that limited days and times that John and I could meet. John was able to move things around so that we could meet at a time that worked best for me. He arrived right on time. I learned more about gophers that day than I ever knew existed. I thought the appointment was a consultation and we would schedule the actual work for another day, but John said he does the work the same day. YAY! We also talked about the weeds in my yard, and for an additional (and quite reasonable fee) he sprayed my weeds also. John quoted a very reasonable price for gopher extermination and explained the process and I watched the Master begin his craft. Pretty amazing stuff, if you ask me. John told me to give it a couple of weeks and that I won't see anymore signs of gophers in my yards. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't seen any gopher activity. YAY again!! Oh, and I don't have any weeds on my rocks either! Triple Yay!!! AZ TPW should be EVERY HOMEOWNER OR BUSINESS OWNER'S go-to for termites, pests and weed control here in the Valley. John is THE MAN! No need to look any further- if you have a problem, John has a solution- period. I met John 2 yrs ago when we bought an new home- complete with scorpions. The guy who owned the house before us left it a mess and never, I mean never took care of any pest control, cleaning, overgrowth of the plants etc. I needed help fast as we have three small children and the fear of scorpions runs high! John came out, inspected the property and the situation and went to work. He educated me on the problem areas, things we can do as home owners, and came up with a plan that fits our budget, schedule and needs. His first treatment at this house, he was here probably 2+ hrs working to get all the hard to reach places and potential hot spots for scorpions- including dusting all of our sprinkler boxes. To sum it up, we had a problem, John got us out on top of it, and now we just need routine maintenance and we are good to go. I have now used John and this home and my rental, treating for bugs and termites. Termites are gone, bugs are managed, and John is ALWAYS willing to help and go the extra mile.
