Best Door Services in Phoenix AZ
Just got my new spiral staircase installed this morning and it looks absolutely amazing. Great quality and finish. Good communication during the fabrication process and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would definitely recommend JM Custom Iron Work

We had a big mix up because of Cox. The estimate didn't get through on my email. Araceli got right back to me and the job is scheduled. This are the only company willing to do this kind of service. I'll include pics when it's done. !

This company recently provided an estimate for a child safe pool fence. We didn't hire them and thought it would be helpful for others to know why.
First, the rep made a big deal about the great lifetime warranty offered on the fence. But reviewing the sample warranty provided, its worthless. It says that Proper maintenance must be maintained to ensure any claims against this warranty. Then the maintenance that must be followed is, among other things, wash fence with a pressure hose and brush with a mild detergent at least once every 3 months and Remove fence at least once every two to three months to ensure it doesn't get stuck over time. Ridiculous. No one will do this.
And, All determinations must be made by an Arizona Pool Fence representative.--in other words, we decide whether you have any warranty.
That leads to the next problem which is that even though on its website it names itself as Arizona Pool Fence, Inc., there does not seem to be any such entity incorporated in Arizona. Yet Arizona Pool Fence is the name used on its website, literature and proposed contract--and in fact on this website.
The company is actually called Maloney's Pool Care and Child Barrier Fencing, LLC, a name that appears nowhere in any of their literature, website, proposed contract, or the business card I was provided. I found it only by running their Arizona Registrar of Contractors number through its website. The number was buried on the business card, again not on the contract with Arizona Pool Fence
Who wants to risk dealing with operators like this? Not me.

Like most home owners I had a vison of what I wanted done at my home but did not know how or where to begin. I came across Gabe Castle, owner of Sacred Steel AZ's work on Offer Up and was intrigued by the many unique projects Gabe completed. It can be intimidating reaching out to a company you have never worked with but I decided to reach out to Gabe and am very thankful I did.
From the moment I contacted Gabe I was impressed with Gabe's willingness to actively listen to my thoughts while answering questions and offering suggestions. I did not feel any pressure from Gabe and at no time felt rushed when explaining my vision. Gabe helped me understand what can be done with metal and offered suggestions from his years of experience and his expertise took my vison to another lever that I did not think would be possible.
Gabe's attention to detail was evident from start to finish. (I am that annoying homeowner that loves to hover and ask questions so I was very involved with the project which allowed me to see the time and effort Gabe displayed in making sure my project was being constructed to my liking). The more I got to learn about Gabe to more I realized the pride Gabe takes in his work and his willingness to always go the extra mile.
My project involved working closely with another contractor which can be challenging but Gabe did not skip a beat and worked hand in hand with my paver installation allowing both companies to do their best work. Gabe showed up on time, every time with strong communication skills that kept me in tune with the project completion and was also patient with me when I asked to modify the plans on the fly. At the end of day, Sacred Steel aims to please.
If you are considering getting any type of metal work done I would highly recommend Gabe at Sacred Steel AZ. Through the entire project my thoughts were at ease knowing that Gabe was on job and that's a piece of mind money cannot buy. While we are on the subject of money I felt Gabe was honest with the cost of materials and did his best to get the maximum yield out of material to help stretch my dollar further. Gabe's labor cost was fair in relation to the type of work he performed. (I later learned he was well below the average cost of his competitors.) When it came time to compensate Gabe for his work I had no reservations on the price as I felt it was deserved based on the wonderful outcome.
Each time I pull in my driveway and see Gabe's work it brings a smile to my face. I have had countless compliments on my projects originality and coolness and feel that others should give Gabe an opportunity for their projects, you would be in good hands. If any of you reading this would like to see firsthand the remarkable work Gabe did at my home I would gladly invite you over to take a look.
Thank you Gabe at Sacred Steel AZ for making my vision come to life, I am very pleased with your work and am looking forward to working with you on future projects!

I contacted Larry because I needed an RV Gate on the side of my house. He came over and spent the time to go over all the details for the type of gate I needed. A week after we met it is installed and done. There is nobody in this business like him. Very prompt, honest and quality work. I wouldn't even waste my time with anybody else. I even got proposals or tried to get a hold of everybody in Phoenix that does RV gates on Yelp. Thanks again Larry.

We've had our security door for three years now. It still looks great.
Recently I noticed it was sticking at the top. I called for warranty service and they were very friendly. They sent over the service man, Conrad, within a week. When he got here to told me that just looking at it he could see it had shifted. He got right to work and had it opening and closing great again in no time.
Definately glad we went with Steel Shield Doors.

I first came across SDGF on Thumbtack when I needed a new garage key pad installed. Last summer my garage opener was malfunctioning and since Frank was so helpful the first time, I called them back again for my opener repair. I had another issue just recently with my garage springs and he came to fix it the same day with the appropriate parts on hand. SDGF's customer service, punctuality and reliability is above all the rest. Highly recommend!

One of my gates had swung shut and past the latch, bending the slider bar.
Alpha was quick to respond, provided a quick quote
Jason came out to my house, fixed the gate, installed a couple of stops to prevent the gates from opening in the wrong direction as promised.
We he arrived, we noticed the wall the gate was attached to, was separating from the house, he was able to straighten out the wall and installed a bracket to the wall and the house.
Everything is working great again.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Alpha again if needed.

Upright Garage door was a great company to work with. I received a response within an hour of contacting them when my garage door decided to start ripping. They came out and did an estimate and unfortunately we had to change out the whole door, but it was 20 years old. They were fairly priced and did the job very quickly. Would highly recommend them. Straightforward and honest.

We were hit by the EF1 Williams (Junipine Estates)Tornado that took out 13 sections of our fence, among much more; found Brust Fencing on Yelp and sent him a message on Sunday, and was amazed and delighted that he contacted us immediately, and came out that same day to assess the damage! I honestly have to say, WE NEED MORE Businesses like Brust Fencing; so responsive, honest, and really works hard to take care of his customers!!!! They do beautiful work, and are a dream to work with!!!!
If you need a new fence or repair of what you have; do yourself a favor and call Brust!!!! And, NO, we had never had any dealings with Brust Fencing prior to the disastrous tornado!!!!

Alden contacted me immediately and we were able to talk through the issue I was having with my gate hinge. He came out at the next available day and fixed the gate hinge quickly. He's very friendly, accommodating and knowledgable. If you need a local gate repairman, I would definitely recommend Alden's Gate!

Mark installed sunscreens and a security door on my new house 2.5 years ago. The product is perfect, like the day it was installed. I am trying to reach Mark for 2 security doors on another new house I'm in contract for.

I called Garage Doors America to replace my dented door. Scott came immediately to evaluate. He told me I only had to replace the panels not the support system which saved me money. I appreciated his honesty, efficiency and professionalism. I would definitely use this company again.

DONT DO IT!!! The salesman, Adam, was good - until he got the check. From that point on, it has been an absolute disaster.
The gate is lovely but has had 3 attempts at resizing the posts, none of which fit & expose the bolts as they stick out from the pillars. They said they were going to center it & fill in the gaps to hide the bolts with STUCCO - a totally inappropriate material - it must be cement or AZ weather weather will destroy it in no time.
I have emailed, called & threatened legal action - 'customer service' is staffed by people who argue with you rather than try to help.
THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE - don't do it unless you are prepared to have a product built wrong & installed incorrectly & be told that YOU are the problem!

I can say we had a great experience with First Impression Ironworks from the start. Derik our salesman was on time, kind, detailed and patient. Placing an order was smooth sailing. We even made a change to the frame size to make sure our doorbell still fit since they no longer drill holes in their wider frames for a doorbell.
We paid half up front and the rest the day of installation. Our door was scheduled to be ready 4 to 6 weeks out. Ours ended up being ready in just over 3 weeks. Time frame is based on demand not supply. We received a message of the installation date. No need to call back unless it didn't work for rescheduling. We then received a call from the installer if the estimated time the morning before to confirm a 2 hour window and he would call if he would be earlier. Instalation took less than 30 minutes for our particular project. Gus was great and informative. We looked over the door to make sure it didn't need any touch up. He went over some mechanics with us and we were all set.
They make sure that no light shines around the frame and they install trim all around along with a large door sweep at the bottom which I recommend not stepping on. Sealed well from tiny critters. Things other door vendors don't do.
I do feel I gave us an advantage by addressing concerns after reading other reviews and If your project will be getting wet often you will want to get the additional zinc protection. I feel it should be a rep's standard to go over ALL options as one may not know they have choices. Especially thinking of weather, door bell issues screens etc. that a customer may not think of or know about. I feel that is the sales person's job. It prevents issues, disappointment, customer changes and buyer regrets.
I have had a few quotes through the years. Our door blows the other vendors out of the water. The quality is awesome and again we are so happy.

I gave the company 2 stars, actually it was between 2 and 3, but just couldn't go 3 stars after we signed the contract,. We just bought a new front door from First Impressions. The quality of the product is without question superior to the competition. But it comes at an extremely high price. Our sales person was Aaron, he was extremely knowledgeable, organized and friendly. He walked us through making the selections for our door, offering a CAD view of the selections we made. Then once we started writing it up, it turned into bizzaro world. It was like we were magically transported to the office of a finance manager at a local Chevrolet dealership. None of it was Aaron's fault, it is simply the way the owners of the company have designed the process. Upcharges for everything. Oh, you want a deadbolt? Well, we can add one for $200 plus dollars, $400 plus if you want keyless entry. The entry level deadbolt is a $79.99 kwikset from home depot look alike. It seriously looks puny on the door. All and all, our door is impressive, but with all the upcharges and add ons ended up costing almost $7000. A single door, not a double door. The installation was expertly done, 1 day, no mess.

If you are looking for a security door and you expect the door to be installed straight and level when installed - this is not the place to go.
If you are expecting less than double the quoted lead time for delivery - this is not the place to go.
If you are looking for customer satisfaction - this is not the place to go.
If you are looking for pro-active communication regarding order status - this is not the place to go.
The product design is great. The installation crew works hard and are professional in demeanor even if they have no idea how to correct a common construction problem such as the frame not being square.
Salesman doesn't keep his word on delivery, communication or making time to come out and look at the installation. He feels that providing the customer with a beautiful product is that is required. Even though installation is part of the cost and equally as important to be done well.
