This company was a pleasure to work with and my gate is gorgeous!  I appreciate the great customer service I received from Shawn.  The gate came in right on schedule and was installed with no problems. My HOA president even emailed me to say she is in love with my gate.  Would definitely recommend Sunset Gates to anyone looking for quality and great customer service.

Alex was great from the start with communication through yelp and text.  The door to our courtyard was rusted and had broken a hinge.  His team fixed the door, replaced the hinge, and also gave it new life with a fresh coat.  The timing was to be expected with a fix and we are happy with the finished project.  We would recommend IMS to anyone looking for a gate or repair.

Very prompt, which is impressive considering that the job was scheduled on a Sunday. Wonderfully detailed and thorough in that they completely refurbished the gate, more than replace the wooden slats. Sebastian and his partner provided new, pre-treated wood slats and stripped the metal gate. They cleaned, refurbished, repainted and re-leveled the gate. They even replaced the spring. Whoever needs their gates worked on, go with Gates The Right Way!

I highly recommend Juan and JM Custom Iron Work! I wanted to replace my old wood slat gate with a solid metal gate that provided more privacy and I am very happy with the finished product. I never thought I would be so excited about a gate but it is extremely well made and has a beautiful oil rubbed bronze finish that looks so much better with our home's paint color. The price was very reasonable and I appreciated that I was able to customize the type of lock I wanted. Juan was very responsive, easy to work with and super friendly, overall great guy and company!

The whole team at Gate Repairs and Mobile Welding was so pleasant to work with. Communication, information and their work was impressive. Araceli communicated our different choices and the related price differences for our gate repair. A team member verified and approved the plan, everything agreed on was listed detailed in writing. We knew stucco work is not covered but referral was given. At the end, very minimal stucco work has to be done. We received appointment reminders, were informed when the team was on their way and payment was easily done online. The team reinstalling the gates did such great work. Our gates look like new. Excellent experience and installation. First consultation was right on time, professional and pleasant. We chose a door, then scheduled the installation, and they came on time and did a fantastic job. They even came back a second time to rekey the door, at no cost, when they didn't have the right key blank during the initial installation. Great experience and highly recommend.

Jason came out to my house, fixed the gate, installed a couple of stops to prevent the gates from opening in the wrong direction as promised.

We he arrived, we noticed the wall the gate was attached to, was separating from the house, he was able to straighten out the wall and installed a bracket to the wall and the house.

We have used First Impressions at our previous home and had a great experience.  So, when we moved we had them fabricate a gate for us.  We have had quite a few issues and at first they were very good about coming out to repair the problems.  Last summer (July 2020) our gate started to show signs of rust.  They sent someone out to take a look and determined we needed to add a powder coat to it to prevent the rust. Of course this was at our cost of $2400. We decided to go ahead and spend the money as we were told the powder coat would last a very long time and I was anxious to have the rust removed. They also told me that the gate must not get wet and that when it rains I need to wipe it down immediately. I found this odd as we did not have to do this to the gate we had at our previous home. We made sure our sprinklers do not hit the gate.  We also made sure our landscaper knew the gate should not get wet, as well.  Fast forward to April 2021, our gate is again rusting and looks worse than ever.  Once again I called the office and they sent someone out to take a look.  The tech said it looks like the powder coat was applied incorrectly and it needed to be done again, but with a stronger product.  That same day the  office called and said they would send someone out to remove our gate and it would take 3-4 weeks to fix.  I was fine with that, just happy to have the rust gone.  Well, the same lady called today and said the manager has decided this is not a warranty issue and that he would still fix it but at my cost of $1100.  I was flabbergasted!  The amount of money we have spent with this company and I had also recommended it to many friends.  NEVER , EVER AGAIN.  I AM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY.  I have found that I am not the only one this has happened to recently. This is so unfortunate.  I am not one to bash a business, but their products are pricey and I hope my review will save someone the money we have lost and headache we have experienced.

We finally got our doors put in.... And we are absolutely OBSESSED!!!  we signed the contract on Mothers Day (5/8/22), installation date was set on 6/7/22, installation was done 7/14/22. The tech called me the morning of and gave me a window of arrival of 11am- 12pm, I don't recall his name but he texted me when he was 10 min away and arrived on time. It took him just under 2.5 hrs to complete the installation. We had our main front door and our side gate door replaced. The door is heavy and solid, very good quality. He answered my questions, he cleaned up after himself. Very nice! Our doors are amazing. Definitely recommend this company. So happy we went with them.

We purchased our front door over a year ago and it has been all we had hoped for. It seems very secure and we love the design and color of our door and screen. We went to First Impressions in Scottsdale to look at some doors in person, then someone came out to measure and talk to us about color options, etc. The website was extremely useful and we chose the door based on what we saw there. We had had a problem with the door not closing completely and First Impressions sent someone out who installed a different door latch to solve the problem. We use our front door frequently throughout the day, so it has gotten heavy use over the past 15 months. The door is on the west side of our house and becomes quite hot in the afternoon sun, so we purchased some handle covers so we can touch it to open. We would definitely purchase from First Impressions again.
