Darrell is the best.  I had an issue with a circuit breaker not reseting...for half of my condo...whilst trying to work from home.  He came within a half hour, was diligent in figuring out what it was (shotty work from a previous contractor whom I will never use again), and fixed it within an hour.  He was professional and very reasonably priced.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality electrician, and will be asking my contractor to utilize him for an upcoming remodel.

I reached out to Ryan via yelp yesterday 6.16.2021 as I needed to add lighting to my basement area. I had previously request quotes from other companies but no one was able to come out for at least a month. Ryan was over to our home within a couple hours and ready to get to work right away. He provided great advice on a few other future project we have and did a great job adding a couple of additional lights to our basement/utility area.

Outstanding customer service!  I needed same day service at my home.  While the Fixer could not come that day, they gave me the names and numbers of other reputable electricians in the area.  I was really impressed with their helpful service, and I would certainly come back to them.  They deserve to be the top of the Yelp list.

When other handymen refused to work on my job, Rob stepped up with his crew to get it done.  Alex was great when he showed up and got things done quickly.

This past winter, our pipes froze so we had to cut a hole in the wall in order to access the pipes. Months went by and we kept putting off getting the hole patched. The Evanston Moms FB page had recommended Fixer so I reached out and they were able to respond quickly and with a competitive quote. They did a great job patching the hole, were very quick and quiet, offered to take off his shoes and wore a mask, and at the end of the day, the guy pointed out my walkway had both a dead bird and a dead mouse (eww) which he offered to dispose of if I could get him a bag. I told him I would take care of it but I really appreciated his kind offer and going that extra step to do something completely unrelated. The best part? I referred my sister to their services and I got a credit! I'll definitely be reaching out to them for future jobs.

After a little scheduling hiccup, Rob stopped by and fixed our leaking toilet for no fee! Happy to have found this company, which places such a high value on customer satisfaction! Will definitely call on them again.

Last minute service request at its best. It's was a sunny Saturday when I made the call requesting their emergency handyman services. They came out next day at 9:30am and got the job done before 3pm. The service was 100% reliable and the charge was very reasonable. Best professional service experienced hands down!! The handyman himself defiently went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I can not recommend Kevin at Enigma Electrical more highly!  He is a consummate professional, a kind person and a very talented electrician.  I had an urgent project in my vintage condo with VERY old wiring, as my condo was going on the market and the electrical needed to be fixed on a Sunday.  Kevin doesn't normally work Sundays, but he understood my dilemma and urgency and he rearranged his schedule to come and help me on his day off.  He was not only comfortable dealing with a tricky electrical situation, but he was delightful to talk and laugh with.  I couldn't be more grateful!

Joe is great! I called him to diagnose a problem with my  bathroom vent fan, install a new kitchen faucet, and repair my dishwasher mounting. He was very polite and professional, and completed all 3 projects efficiently.

Afterwards, he threw in a few tips on appliance maintenance and showed me how to reduce noise from my steam radiators.

In the past I have used another, more expensive handyman service in the neighborhood. Joe's prices were better and he's just as knowledgeable. I'll be sticking with him from now on.

I contacted Adam Hadib with A1-Services.  He answered his phone, no voicemail. He asked for photos of the work we needed done, then he sent me back his reasonable quote.

He was able to come out the next day to install our shower door. (He was booked up all week after Sunday).

He did a wonderful job! He was very personable; kind;considerate, & honest.

We will definitely call him again if needed.
