Best Emergency Services in Charlotte NC
I've used Chad multiple times for projects around my house and cannot recommend him highly enough. He is responsive, shows up on time every time, does great quality work and his pricing is fair. I've had him complete a variety of projects to installing hardware on my walls, electrical work (new lights, outlets), assembled/installed furniture and a variety of other projects around the house. He is a true professional and you won't regret leveraging him for your projects!

Y'all, if I could give Josh from Blue Collar 10 stars, I would! We had an electrical issue on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I just went down the line on Yelp and called 15 different electricians... Josh responded quickly, and was over at my house within a couple hours. Quickly got to the bottom of the issue, which was with power IN to the house, helped me call Duke Energy to explain the problem and make sure they dispatched a lineman, and followed up several times over the afternoon and evening to make sure we were okay and all squared away. And even though he could have gouged me on a holiday, he charged me a more than reasonable rate while providing great service. I would absolutely recommend them for all your electrical and HVAC needs (he is licensed for both)!!

Have referred them to a number of people, all of whom have been really happy with the service they received. Prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Nice to have a list of local service providers that you can trust when you need them.

Over the Christmas holidays my hot water went out. They were quick to access the problem and once they had the correct part fix the issue. Restoring hot water. I would recommend Eneco to anyone with plumbing and/or HVAC issues!

I found Scott Adams of Adams Mechanical on Home advisers. I was having a problem with my air conditioner and had already spent several hundred dollars or should I say wasted dollars on other people experimenting on how to fix it. Though they claimed to be the professional. I was skeptical at first about getting someone else but then felt a peace about using Scott Adams after he called and talked to me on the phone. He came out and looked at everything but also couldn't figure out what was wrong because the problem wasn't showing itself when he came out. However, he was very good about coming at anytime of day or night to resolve my issue. He said when it shows up again call me right away and I will be there and he was. He found the problem got it fixed and was very professional and quite reasonable.
I have since used him to fix some other things I found wrong because he does what he says he will do and is very reasonable and easy to work with. I highly recommend his company.

I called at almost mid-night when having a problem with my breaker box. M&S Electrical did not hesitate to come fix my problem and was extremely friendly and professional. M&S is truly a 24 hour electrical emergency company that answered my call when others that claimed to be 24 hours did not. I highly recommend this company for your electrical needs!! Professional, Friendly and Affordable!!

My family has had to have Asset Electrical out to our home several times and they have never left us feeling anything but sure about the quality of their work and their company. I live in an older home and it is so important to me to have a trustworthy, reliable electrician that I can call for minor and major electrical issues that come up in all homes. I highly recommend Asset Electrical to all my friends!

Bo Watts was easy to communicate with and very responsive to provide a quote for doing a turn-key electrical wiring job for my new shop building. His price was also very competitive. My experience with Watts Electric and Services was very good and I would strongly recommend their company for anyone seeking electrical services.

Recently we were planning on purchasing a home we were renting and we of course had a home inspection and they noted some of the major system components in our home were reaching their functional age life expectancy.
The inspector noted that our Fort Mill home showed signs of deferred maintenance with the HVAC, electrical, furnace heat and air, and crawl space. They showed signs of wear and tear after years of minimal upkeep. We knew that the heat and air would need to be functional for years to come to protect our investment.
During our home buying process, the furnace in the house actually stopped functioning all together on a Friday afternoon and that weekend was extremely cold outside and we had no heat in the house. Our first thought was to call One Hour Heating and Cooling (turned out to be a mistake) because they can arrive in about an hour or so we thought. 6 hours later and after several phone calls trying to figure out who they were sending we finally found out that a technician was on the way and he went up to diagnose the system and shortly after he came down with a summary of proposed work ranging from $1500 up to $9,000. Mostly those quotes included overpriced years of air filters and service fees which was a major rip-off.Nowhere on that quote did they address the actual problems that needed to be fixed that same day to get the heat back on for our family of 5 including our 18 month old boy. Surely this is their 'standard protocol' when they send someone out because it's clear they follow a 'profits over people' business model.
I knew this couldn't be right so I asked around and got a recommendation from a client of mine that happened to know Jeremy at Roby services. Luckily they are actually neighbors so we showed him the quote and Jeremy asked me to call the office Monday morning to send out an HVAC repairman near me out to see what is really going on with the furnace. He let us borrow a few of his space heaters which allowed us to actually sleep in our home on Saturday and Sunday nights. After running a few tests, Jeremy and Anthony determined it was simply just a bad capacitor and the blower motor on a furnace was shot and the cost to fix was just a few hundred dollars.
Don't make the same mistake I did by calling the companies that spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertising just so they can send out a salesman to take advantage of any homeowner they can. Call Roby Services to get an honest diagnosis as to what's really going on with your home. These guys are passionate about what they do and they are professionals that will give you a fair quote to address what needs to be fixed and not try and scare you into thinking you need to build a whole new house just because you have a light switch not working and a clogged drain.

****AND I DO NOT KNOW WHY YELP SAYS I AM LOCATED IN SAN FRANCISCO...I AM IN CHARLOTTE, NC**
If I could give a 0, I would. Michael & Sons purposefully destroyed wiring, so I would hire them to the tune of $900 to add a wire (common wire) and install a Nest thermostat. The tech stripped a wire. the wire was perfectly fine, as I JUST had a new HVAC installed by a family friend. When I had the HVAC system installed, I wanted to have the Nest installed, but was told I needed the common wire. At the time, I just had the family friend put the old thermostat back on. Fast forward...the old thermostat was acting up, so I decided to replace the old with a newer version of Honeywell. I did not take a picture of the wiring, and I knew I re wired incorrectly. So, I called to get an ESTIMATE for a re-wire and an estimate to have a Honeywell installed. I was told a tech would need to stop by. In actuality, that makes NO sense bc I already knew what I needed. The tech was in my attic for A VERY LONG TIME. I should have went upstairs with him (lesson learned). I was quoted $300 to re-wire a Honeywell, I am talking just changing the wires on myHoneywell, not rewiring from my attic. And the cost to rewire to have a common wire was $400+ and to install the Nest another $400. That is insane. I am not done yet. The tech then re-wired my thermostat. However, he destroyed the wires. I will say purposefully. I have picture of what my wiring looked like BEFORE I called and AFTER. The tech left some wiring on my floor. I just left because I suspected I'd have a problem. yup, I DO. Now, I can not hook up ANY thermostat without having wiring done because the wires are stripped. They were NOT stripped previously, as the tech did not realize my HVAC unit was RECENTLY installed! These folk are shady! DO NOT USE!!!!!

Called to replace a leaking toilet, and while here they said my water pressure was too high and a pressure regulator needed to be installed. They insisted this needed to be installed by my water meter at the street, which would involve ripping up part of the sidewalk and cost over $700.
I got a second opinion and was told that the part could easily be installed in my basement for a third of the cost, and that cutting into the sidewalk was totally unnecessary. When I explained to them that I wanted to cancel my appointment based on this second opinion they were snippy and rude.
Very surprised that they chose what appears to be the most difficult and expensive method to fix a simple water pressure problem.

11:00am, first call. The person I spoke to (Roxanne) was very nice, I explained my issue with her. She was getting to a dispatcher when and put me on hold. I waited about 10 minutes. She got back on the phone and said she was still waiting for a dispatcher. Placed me on hold again, which switched over to voicemail. I didn't leave a voicemail because I was waiting for her and after three times the voicemail said I didn't leave a recordable message, the call dropped.
11:21am, called back. Got a brand new person who had no idea who I was. During this brief call, I got a call back from my original call so I told this very unhelpful person that I was going to call the number back.
11:28am, called back on the off chance I would get Roxanne back. Nope... I spoke to another lady who pretended to take my issue, number and name down and promised to call me back.
12:38pm. I called back to see where we were at in contacting the dispatcher. New lady. No record of my call. Told me the person who took my information had left for the day. After taking my information and the address of the issue, told me that this company does not service apartment buildings. My building was completely upfit in 2009. Still no.
After wasting this much time on a valid emergency, they left me hanging. I will never contact them again. Complete waste of my time, don't waste yours...

We had a power outage the day of our holiday party (two days before Christmas) and our generator didn't start. Scott came out right away and was able to get our generator running just before our guests starting arriving. He saved the evening! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend power Source.
