Yesterday ENECO came from Hickory to tweak my HVAC, which he did a fantastic job on. I really didn't expect them to come out on a Saturday and figured they would wait till Monday, but I got a call back quickly and he said he could be here shortly. The young fellow was named Adam and had been with the company for 9 years. To get to my attic access we had to walk around bins and big bags of decorations from Christmas. I apologized for the mess and said it just needed to go in the attic when I got help.
He was so kind and gracious and offered to put all that stuff in the attic for me! And it was a lot! Then he gave me a few tips to make extra storage space with some of the plywood boards I had stacked up there. Adam was quite the professional during all this and I thanked him. What an asset he is to his company, and a blessing to me, to go above and beyond!

I found Scott Adams of Adams Mechanical on Home advisers. I was having a problem with my air conditioner and had already spent several hundred dollars or should I say wasted dollars on other people experimenting on how to fix it. Though they claimed to be the professional. I was skeptical at first about getting someone else but then felt a peace about using Scott Adams after he called and talked to me on the phone. He came out and looked at everything but also couldn't figure out what was wrong because the problem wasn't showing itself when he came out. However, he was very good about coming at anytime of day or night to resolve my issue. He said when it shows up again call me right away and I will be there and he was. He found the problem got it fixed and was very professional and quite reasonable.
I have since used him to fix some other things I found wrong because he does what he says he will do and is very reasonable and easy to work with. I highly recommend his company.

I called at almost mid-night when having a problem with my breaker box. M&S Electrical did not hesitate to come fix my problem and was extremely friendly and professional. M&S is truly a 24 hour electrical emergency company that answered my call when others that claimed to be 24 hours did not. I highly recommend this company for your electrical needs!! Professional, Friendly and Affordable!!

Would strongly not recommend. Have used a dozen contractors of all sorts over the years and this is the very first one that prompted me to leave a negative review for.
Hired Adam and team to install low voltage wiring, ceiling speakers for an unfinished house. Provided details instructions with diagrams, part numbers, etc. They did the prewiring and came back after house completion to 'finish' the work.
Results:
Ceiling Speakers: They created 21 holes in my ceilings to install 10 speakers (10 holes for 10 speakers..and another 11 besides). This is with the same team doing the pre-wiring. In addition, one of the speakers they installed was visibly misaligned by more than half a foot. And no, they did not consider any part of the drywall damage as their problem.
100% defective rate on HDMI ports (4/4): All 4 HDMI runs were defective, none of them were usable. Found out later that the team couldn't read English or understand the instructions - they installed these backwards.
100% defective rate on conduit runs (2/2): All conduits were buried in the walls, despite my providing terminal conduit adapters
15% defective rate on Ethernet ports (4/27 didn't work)
There were various additional issues such as installing 2-gang boxes where I indicated 3-gang and vice versa - overall extremely poor knowledge of work or poor people management. To top it off, they refused to come and inspect their work, even though I offered to pay for the additional trip fee. Their 'warranty' is also fabricated marketing - they never inspected their own work and of course refused to make any repairs on any of their warranted work.
Had to take them to court to recover damages incurred. Even then, they refused to willingly make any amends. Stay away - you have been warned!

Bo Watts was easy to communicate with and very responsive to provide a quote for doing a turn-key electrical wiring job for my new shop building. His price was also very competitive. My experience with Watts Electric and Services was very good and I would strongly recommend their company for anyone seeking electrical services.

After failed attempts with other unreliable companies, All Electric Services came through just in time. They were able to accommodate my tenants work schedule and were able to move my appointment time up when requested when my tenants schedule changed again. They determined & resolved my electrical issue quickly and invoiced me so I could pay online without having to be at my rental property in person. They were also less than what I was quoted from the other company that failed to show up! Hopefully there's no next time soon but I know exactly who to call when I need electrical repairs.

Recently we were planning on purchasing a home we were renting and we of course had a home inspection and they noted some of the major system components in our home were reaching their functional age life expectancy.
The inspector noted that our Fort Mill home showed signs of deferred maintenance with the HVAC, electrical, furnace heat and air, and crawl space. They showed signs of wear and tear after years of minimal upkeep. We knew that the heat and air would need to be functional for years to come to protect our investment.
During our home buying process, the furnace in the house actually stopped functioning all together on a Friday afternoon and that weekend was extremely cold outside and we had no heat in the house. Our first thought was to call One Hour Heating and Cooling (turned out to be a mistake) because they can arrive in about an hour or so we thought. 6 hours later and after several phone calls trying to figure out who they were sending we finally found out that a technician was on the way and he went up to diagnose the system and shortly after he came down with a summary of proposed work ranging from $1500 up to $9,000. Mostly those quotes included overpriced years of air filters and service fees which was a major rip-off.Nowhere on that quote did they address the actual problems that needed to be fixed that same day to get the heat back on for our family of 5 including our 18 month old boy. Surely this is their 'standard protocol' when they send someone out because it's clear they follow a 'profits over people' business model.
I knew this couldn't be right so I asked around and got a recommendation from a client of mine that happened to know Jeremy at Roby services. Luckily they are actually neighbors so we showed him the quote and Jeremy asked me to call the office Monday morning to send out an HVAC repairman near me out to see what is really going on with the furnace. He let us borrow a few of his space heaters which allowed us to actually sleep in our home on Saturday and Sunday nights. After running a few tests, Jeremy and Anthony determined it was simply just a bad capacitor and the blower motor on a furnace was shot and the cost to fix was just a few hundred dollars.
Don't make the same mistake I did by calling the companies that spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertising just so they can send out a salesman to take advantage of any homeowner they can. Call Roby Services to get an honest diagnosis as to what's really going on with your home. These guys are passionate about what they do and they are professionals that will give you a fair quote to address what needs to be fixed and not try and scare you into thinking you need to build a whole new house just because you have a light switch not working and a clogged drain.

Polk Electric has done several jobs for us one being a very large job. We are very pleased with their work and so are our clients. We can highly recommend them for any of your electrical needs. Work was completed on time and very reasonable in price.

Today was my first time using Michael & Son. It was a great experience. Jonathan came out. He was friendly, walked me through the issue and provided me with multiple options. Once repairs were completed he walked me through everything he had done and answered all my questions.

Garry came out. The good news was he was on time. The bad news is he gave me a bogus estimate for $2365 worth of work. He showed me pictures of water on pipes. I asked him point blank if that could be condensation as we have a very deep well and very cold water and he said no. After he left, I got another certified plumber to come out. He said he'd love the business but that there are no leaks. The powder room had leaked at one time, but it is dry now. He charged me an $89 trip charge and saved me $2300. I'm not sure if Garry or IRV Plumbing is the culprit, but one or both of them are extremely dishonest.

When I called initially, I told the receptionist that our sewer pump was not working because there was something wrong with the control panel. I told them that we were able to push a button on the control panel, which would pump sewage to the street, but that the control panel was no longer automatically doing this. When the guy came out he said they don't work on the control panels, stayed about 5 minutes and left. He told me all they could do was to verify the control panel was getting electricity. I told them that I was able to manually push the sewage to the street, so we already knew it was getting electricity. He stayed around five minutes and charged me the trip fee. When I called the office, they told me they would try to find someone to do the work, but never called me back.

WAY over charged for shoddy work.
Charges $80!!! just to come out as a trip fee
Was recommended to me by a plumber that I used. Had them come out to fix an outlet that kept tripping. Guy moved the outlet to a dryer area. Took him hours....was being paid by the hour. That was all he did. A couple of days later I went out to turn something on and the plug closest to where he did the work wasn't working. I reached out to the owner of the company and explained what happened. He told me that its highly unlikely that his guy caused it. I explained that I was having no issues until after his guy left. After going back and forth he finally agreed to send the guy back out. He showed up at a time when I wasn't home. I never received a phone call before he came or after he came to let me know I had missed him. I have cameras all around the house so that was the only way that I knew that he had come.
All of the work he had done was in our outdoor kitchen and this was the same exact guy who messed it up in the first place so he knew where it was and what to check. But he didn't. He simply rang the doorbell and then left.
So, fast forward a couple of weeks and the socket that he moved begins to trip again. I did my research and found another guy who is awesome. He did double the work (literally) for half the price of Power Source. The second electrician also informed me that there should be an outdoor cover on the outlet since its under the grill (which he included...again, more work, less money).
