Best Post Light Installation in San Jose CA

We have a 130 year-old Victorian which we are restoring.  During the removal & replacement of our roof, a very professional & capable young electrician came out from Voltz Electric.  He ran a new electric line through our porch roof to install new light fixtures that never existed previously in our porch ceiling.   The nature of the work was certainly not a standard job but he handled it very well and without complaint (which I sometimes get with an old house).   On another project, the same guy ran a new electric line and installed a new exterior outlet.  

I plan to call Voltz Electric again in the near future for more electrical upgrades and will be asking for the same guy.

Honestly I can say I made the best choice going with Adary for an electrical issue my tenants were experiencing.

Ive had several Handyman help me with projects in the past that didn't do as great a job and were more expensive. Loved everything about the service to the communication, Chris was extremely professional , explained everything to me and really made it as hassle free as possible.

Found Dan on yelp and decided to give him a call to install a 240 outlet in my garage to charge my EV. Dan is very professional and his prices are very reasonable. Dan is very knowledgeable and he was able to fit me in his busy schedule. He even came on a Sunday morning to work on my job. If you need an electrician, I would highly recommend Dan for all your electrical needs.

Chris and Azu arrived promptly within the specified window. They promptly diagnosed the problem and completed the necessary repair within an hour. They each took the time to communicate with me.  I would have no difficulty recommending them to anyone who needs electrical work.  Their company maintains an impeccable work ethic and provides extraordinary service.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Larry has worked for us for over 25 years. We would never use anyone else.  He has solved electrical challenges in our house from small to large jobs.  Anyone using Larry will be very happy with the results of any electrical issue presented to him.  It doesn't seem that all electricians have Larry's experience.

We had the pleasure of working with Fitch Electric today.  2 other electricians did not call us back and the 3rd backed out of an appointment at the last minute.  Well, I'm glad it did not work out with the other companies because Fitch did a great job all around.  From talking with Lucas who actually picked up the phone and Scott who initiated the appointment setting, we were off and running.  They were a pleasure to speak with and it is easy to see they want the customer to have a great experience using their services.  Martin and Santiago came to the house today and did a great job hanging a chandelier in the dining room and taking down another light fixture we no longer needed in the living room.  They gave us advice on some outlet issues we were having as well and how to solve them.  They were fast, friendly and did a great job.  I will be having them back for future projects soon.  I already have started the list.  This experience is exactly what I was looking for in an electric company!

I am the supremely lucky one to have persevered long enough to find these guys. Truly, I had work to do and several unsavory issues with other electricians.  I experienced indifference, high prices and lack of customer service from many competing electricians. Rob  is courteous, competent, trustworthy and patient. All went so perfectly I have now have him scheduled for more work. And I'm going to use him in the future for all of my apartments and homes. Enough said!

Ben has helped us multiple times and has been reliable and punctual every time. He has been polite and very professional in his work. He even charged us less than what he quoted on the phone for an emergency weekend work when the it ended up being simpler than originally expected. I strongly recommend him for electrical work.

Beware. This guy took advantage of my elderly mother who needed electrical work to switch from a gas to electric stove. He tried to charge $8k then when she balked he quickly offered a senior discount to $6k. She didn't know any better and thought it was a deal bc of the discount. Then they proceeded to do horrible work that was not up to code, replaced her whole panel without getting permits and we are pretty sure it didn't need replacement (she had recently had solar installed and they had no problem with the condition of the electrical box). Fisher installed the 220 cable on the exterior of the house in a flex tube and zip tied it to the rusty old drain pipe. ZIP TIED! When we confronted Mr. Fisher with the situation he agreed to a partial refund and left us with the mess. Now we have to pay another electrician to get it up to code. This is elder abuse and a scam. He will be lucky if he doesn't end up in court. Lesson learned: get multiple bids in writing and don't trust people to be honest and competent.

I want to give a shout out to Dan Charles of Charles Electric. Dan just installed an outdoor outlet which was just one of many electrical jobs that he has done for me going on 2 decades. He always shows up with a smile on his face with a can do attitude. Oh, did I mention that he also took care of 2 other issues on the spot. It is hard to find a good electrician that will take on a small job with as much kindness and enthusiasm as a big job. Dan's my man!

Miro, the owner came out to look at my electrical outlet that stopped working and a fan light that only works with a remote control.  I appreciated his detailed explanations, what it would cost (lots!) and why.
He told me I might just run an extension cord for a lamp (saving thousands) and just use the remote until I want to replace the relatively new fan light and new wall switch - it's programmed.
I appreciate his honesty and will call him in the future, and refer him to others.

I recently needed to install GFCI outlets in my home. It was as simple as can be with Khalif, from getting the initial quote request on yelp to installation. He understood exactly what I needed and had the job done quickly. His prices were extremely good and I would not hesitate to use his services again in the future.

Natalie is awesome: professional, knowledgeable, communicative and fair. We had Natalie change our old panel (a big fire hazard) back in December 2019/January 2020. Natalie came over several times to set things up and did a fantastic job communicating with me arrival times, delays with PG&E, power shut off, inspection schedule, etc...  All the while, billing was transparent and gradual, and my questions were promptly fielded.

Another quality of Natalie's work is tidiness.  Natalie made sure there was no mess left around and patched the wall after removing and disposing of the old panel.

So pleased were we that we called on Natalie again to properly ground our garage last month.  After inspecting the situation (with proper distancing and protection--welcome to the age of COVID), Natalie offered a solution and a couple of backup options.  Finally, since the first simple solution worked, Natalie reduced the bill significantly.

From now on, for any electrical work, we know who to turn to!

Wilson was prompt, knowledgeable and did good work. He gave a competitive bid to install an EV charge Point hard wired into box. Really nice guy. I'll definitely hire him again.

Francisco is responsive, efficient and really solid. He's also a super nice guy, which is a plus.  Some contractors are not interested in doing smaller jobs, but Francisco helped me out with some fixtures that were overdue to be fixed. He pointed out that the original fixture I chose would not align well and came back a second time (without charging me more) after I had purchased something that worked better.  His work is tidy and completed well.  I plan to hire him again for a larger future project. What a great, knowledgeable electrician (family run business) and superb to coordinate and work with.  From coming out for the estimate, discussing permitting and scheduling the work, Don stayed on top of it, very flexible, available, courteous and professional.  I live in a condo and he was well aware of the condo HOA requirements. His team installed 13 recessed lights, 1 pendant light and an over the sink light including all LED bulbs & dimmer switches.  Arrived on time with all supplies and his team was very friendly and considerate. They completed the work in one day and he had already scheduled the city inspection for the next morning, very efficient! Before leaving, all was cleaned up and everything put back as it was... they care about their work and overall customer satisfaction! Quality work and very reasonably priced compared to others.
