I am very happy with Jamil.  He was thoroughly, respectful and cleaned up once the work was done.  I would highly recommend him and plan to use him again.

Asked Yelp to help me quote a few small projects I had and Antonio was one of the replies.   Very reasonable rate compared to others that quoted and he came the next day and fixed the two items in three hours. I will use him again for my next project.

So a few months after I'd left the messages and wrote the 1-star review, Steve called me. He apologized and explained that he'd been dealing with some family issues. He had also let go one of the workers who had done my electrical. After making an appointment to come out the following week, I sent him my list of things that needed to be fixed, detailed in my original review.

As promised, Chris came out on Monday. He was on time--even early--friendly and courteous. Chris made some recommendations on how to fix some of the problems, did the work, and also saved the day with some quick thinking. He also changed out a motion detector switch to a regular one even though it was out of scope.

Steve himself came out and we smoothed things over. I was happy to have the work completed quickly and even talked to him about coming back to install a new light over my dining table.

Although I would have preferred the work had been done properly originally, Steve takes pride in his work and I know he felt bad that there had been issues.

I understand when family matters come up, and I told him as much. However, I do think he should have left an outgoing voice message explaining that he was taking time off and would not be returning calls for an extended amount of time.

I was actually about to hire another electrician to fix all the problems, so I would been pretty upset if I had done so only to have Steve contact me afterward.

My initial experience with Steve and John, who were recommended by my contractor, was good. However, I've now left two messages this year for Steve asking him to come back and fix small issues that came up within weeks of my moving back into my remodeled home: canned light went out, dimmer makes a buzzing noise, smoke alarm fell off my master bedroom ceiling. And the big one: fans in both baths come on when heat/air does and not necessarily when they should. I.e., when I'm showering and the bathroom steams up.

I'm sure all of these problems are easy to fix, so I'm frustrated that I've left two very polite messages (one on Steve's cell phone; one at the shop) and still haven't received a call back in over two weeks. I spent more than $10k with Southwest and thought Steve and John were very professional and helpful during the remodel. I think it's very unprofessional now for Steve to not follow up on these issues that I've documented through date-stamped photos.

I think it's interesting that the majority of these 5-star reviews for Southwest are from people who don't write many reviews. This can be a sign of business owners asking for favorable reviews in return for providing a discount. If you're researching electricians or any other businesses on Yelp, I recommend doing your homework. Just because the business has 5-star reviews does not mean they truly are a 5-star business.

I contacted Brian recently when I had a non-functional exterior outlet at my house, that I needed fixed quickly.  He responded promptly, stayed in contact over email, and was able to come over to check it out the next day.  He was able to diagnose the problem very quickly, and the fix was trivial. Despite my feeling like an idiot for calling him out to my house for almost nothing, he was extremely nice and understanding. He gave me some advice about how to prevent a recurrence of the issue and didn't even charge me!  

I highly recommend him, and I will be sure to use BMH for any future electrical needs I have at my house.

After reading so many positive reviews on Yelp, we decided to call Norman for a small project we needed done. Norman came the next morning. He was unable to do our project, but referred us to his associate Ray. Even though Norman wasn't about to help us with our job, he offered any assistance or help with any questions we may have. Ray called me immediately and came the next day. He offered an alternative suggestion to fixing our problem which worked out better than the original plan.

Thank you Norman for your helpful advise and for directing us to Ray. Thank you Ray for your advise and a job well done! We are so happy with the outcome. We will definitely keep you in mind for future projects.

After experiencing some intermittent issues with several electrical outlets we needed a health check of sorts to understand the cause of the problem.  Daniel was very responsive and willing to spend the time needed to diagnose the problem.
He provided the repair options in a sensible and straightforward way and was willing to adjust his schedule with other clients to make the repairs.
Would recommend him to anyone who values quality and good old fashion customer service.

I will echo what others said.  Frank was thorough and detailed in his appts and estimates.  Jason and Logan did an excellent job performing the various home repairs.  They were professional, thorough, courteous, attentive to detail, eager to please, showed up on time, and communicated well.  The charges were reasonable.  I would be interested in using RB Handyman Services again, once I have enough new items.  Thanks guys!

I am so pleased with Nick's advice, resources and specific expertise. He answered my questions and I decided after checking his Contractor License with excellent references. Then he accepted pictures of the fixtures, before I purchased them. (So I send a 5 star review of the our collaboration in progress.)

Nick arrived on time (as planned days in advance) and the work was done as quoted. So here is a second 5 star review. Because I am so delighted. The work looks great. The shower safety grab bars are literally what the Doctor ordered.

George called me and we discussed the billing I received for the 10 min work performed at my home.
George offered his apologies and a full refund.
Needless to mention, I refused his offer of refunding my monies, but accepted his apologies.
Oftentimes a good character supplants the dollar remuneration and after discussing his employees misunderstanding of George's direction together
with Georges eagerness to correct this situation.............
Speaks volumes to character.
George impressed me with his eagerness to correct my situation and used this incident as a learning tool for his employee, all the while accepting full responsibility as should the owner/manager of any business.

about to finish the foundation and framing work with RenoPro, beside their quality work, I'm most impressed with their can-do attitude. They do anything to our satisfaction, regardless our repeated changes. I would definitely hire Dave again.  He did a wonderful job. He was on time, easy to talk with, knowledgeable and did everything I wanted.  I needed some caulking done around the bathtub, he dug out the messed up old caulking and put down a nice new line of caulk. He also did some grout work and replaced an o-ring on the toilet. I have finally found my go to guy. It was a pleasure to work with him. You will not be sorry if you have him do a job for you

Great experience with Jose and his team at Castillo Electric!  We are undergoing a home remodel and was in search for an electrician for various projects throughout the home.  I met with Jose to walk our home and after our meeting, it was an easy decision to hire his team.  Jose and his team completed various projects including adding additional circuits to our kitchen and installed recessed lighting and track lighting throughout the home.  Jose was very professional and knowledgeable in his trade.  I highly recommend Jose and his team for any of your electrical needs!

Mr. Bene is a wonderful, wonderful man.  

I had an issue on Thanksgiving Day where my panel was destroyed over a tree root entangling the PG&E live wire, and PG&E was forced to shut my power off.  The initial electrician I contacted unfortunately ghosted me after a week in a half.  

Still homeless, I reached out to Mr. Bene.  

One thing I was impressed with Mr. Bene was that he KNEW the problem right away just by looking at the pictures and could even IDENTIFY the brand of the panel.  He was very truthful and honest and even came the next day to look in person free of charge.  

But one thing I appreciated is how Mr. Bene went out to bat for me.  He constantly communicated with PG&E for me and navigated through their bureaucracy and advocated that I was without power for nearly five weeks (at that point).  He has contacts with the city and was able to get the permitting done just like that.  The day he came to actually replace the panel he was considerate, wearing masks and feet covers, and finished extremely quickly.  I expected a full day; he was done in only two hours.  All while cracking jokes and making me feel less alone in a miserable situation.  

Mr. Bene takes care of everyone, especially those who live in Pleasanton.  Reach out to him first.  He is simply the best.  His prices are reasonable and he cares for those who get the raw end of the stick.  He is very responsive via email, cell or on the phone.  I've recommended him to every single one of my neighbors, and those who met him while he was working on my panel asked for his business card because he is someone we all know we can trust.  

You wont' regret using his services.

I still don't know how Yevgeny answers almost every single call he receives! It has been a sincere pleasure working with such a professional as himself. I purchased a home in SF and was tangled up with the SF Building Dept for various Violations from the former owner that I was blessed to inherit. Yevgeny took my case and handled it from beginning to end. He is VERY well know by the inspectors and they have a great deal of respect and admiration for him - this helps with inspections since Yevgeny has a reputation of doing it right the first time! I would highly recommend Yevgeny and his company General SF to anyone who wants to work with a reliable and responsive professional! Stephen hung and painted 2 doors. He did great work and we were very comfortable having him in our home while we were working and napping. Explained thoroughly what he was doing. He is very professional and a great communicator.

There is nothing like being able to trust someone completely when you hire them to do a job. Bill and his crew are truly amazing. Everything we have hired them for has been 100% satisfactory,  he always fits us in for an emergency, his employees are wonderful to work with and they always make sure your happy with the job before they leave. We needed an electrician to install level2 outlets for EV chargers in our garage.  Art was very prompt in returning my call, and came by to look at the location and assess the job request.  He was courteous and very professional and was upfront with the estimate and cost.  I appreciate that he took the time to explain to me the options we have and described in detail how/what he would do and how the finished product would look like.  He finished the job in one day; everything went smoothly and we are happy that we can now use the faster charger for our EVs.

Brennan came to our house in Modesto and fixed our electrical issue.  I would highly recommend this business.   Thanks again for helping us Brennan!!!
