Best Electrical Services in San Francisco CA
German and the iPowerSF Electric team are top notch. I must have contacted a dozen electricians for a quote to fix some lights at my mom's house. Many of them were unresponsive, unfriendly, or gave me a crazy quote. German responded immediately and had a technician there the next day. He was prompt, courteous and carefully fixed the wiring issues in some ceiling lights and repaired the wiring to the door bell. He even switched out some light switches since hers were from the 80's! All in all, terrific experience. Quick to respond, pleasure to work with, reasonable quote, and most of all - did great work! Don't waste time contacting anyone else. iPowerSF Electric are the best!

Fearghal is an electrical genius IMHO. He succeeded in fixing my daughter's funky switch/outlet wiring where many others have failed. He installed recessed can lighting in our Edwardian and made it look much more elegant - He's a super nice guy - very good at his craft and a pleasure to work with.

Johti quoted me a fair price, communicated well and did a great job. we had him install a ceiling fan, and he even vacuumed up the dust from the job before he left. i will use him in the future anytime i need an electrician.

The entire process from scheduling to paying the invoice was a breeze. I was able to make the appointment online where I inputted as much information as I could about the projects that needed to be completed. John came prepared to install a Nest Thermostat, an outdoor light timer and best of all when I described the fact that my hardwired smoke detector in the kitchen would activate when I made toast, he had a product with him that would detect smoke and not heat and so I no longer have to fan the ceiling every morning. He completed all the projects in a timely manner and even though he did have to take calls during the time he was at my house, he deducted that time from my invoice. I found him to be honest and capable and funny as well. I have no problem recommending him.

Sent an email, never got a response. I don't understand why a business person who, I assume, wants business cannot take the time to
Respond even if it's just to say they can't do the job.

I called Electric Tay for two separate jobs. Byron Tay responded promptly for a free estimate, came on time both times, and quoted a reasonable price.
The second time, he came to give me a quote to fix a broken bathroom heated sub-flooring. He spent quite some time narrowing down the issue and took care of some other items in order to eliminate potential causes. For instance, he of the burnt-out floor heating thermostat.
In the end, he concluded that the issue is in the electric flooring itself, for which he doesn't have the required equipment. Since this was an estimate- appointment, he didn't charge me for the time spent investigating and fixing the thermostat.
I really appreciated his honesty and patience. He definitely has all my future business. Byron is solid and dependable, and I'd happy to recommend him to family and friends.

Wayne was really helpful and easy to work with. There was a slight delay in communication due to the Thanksgiving holiday, but they fit my job in right away after that. I had them replace some old halogen can lights with new LED lights. Wayne did the legwork in recommending a light and then finding a new one when I clarified my preferences. Nathan did everything with a mask on and did a great job cleaning up the drywall mess. As an added bonus, I was happy to support a black-owned business.

Highly recommend. They came out first gave us quote. We decided to use them and they did all the work they quoted quickly and professionally and the bill came in under their quote. Both Mario and Jessie were awesome. I'm very happy with their work and I can now use my dryer, all my lighting in house work. I'm a happy customer.

All of the positive reviews are very much deserved. I had a circuit breaker repair that needed to be fixed right away and he was very response, on time, and very professional.

It always feels good to support local businesses, but it's especially rewarding to support ones that are just getting started. When I went on Yelp looking for an electrician, Estiben and Brains Automation Homes didn't even have any reviews yet! It's always a little risky to go with a business with no reviews, but something told me Estiben knew what he was doing, and I can definitely say I made a good choice in selecting him for my home project.
I had been wanting to replace the old and ugly outlets and switches in my home, and decided to get a few quotes just to see what I would be getting myself into. Brains Automation Homes offered a competitive estimate and got the job done exactly as I had requested and quickly (I was able to schedule an appointment the same week I started looking for an electrician). It turns out Estiben is a one-man show breaking out on his own and trying to build up his business (hence, not many reviews). He's licensed, competent, and friendly. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned I might want to replace an outlet with one that had USB ports. As the business name indicates, Brains Automation Homes has experience with hooking up smart homes, so you know Estiben is knowledgeable about some of the latest tech.
For my project, Estiben arrived on time, was very polite, got the job done well, and cleaned up after himself. In all, he replaced two regular outlets, two outlet-switch combinations with GFCI, two double light switches, two single light switches, and a three-switch contraption in the bathroom that connects to the light, the fan, and a heater. The bathroom switch was a late add-on (I thought it might be too complicated), but Estiben had all the necessary parts, so he was able to take care of it then and there.
I have a few more electrical projects in mind, and I won't hesitate to contact Brains Automation Homes when the time comes.

I worked with Fitch Electric to install a backup generator that could power our house in the event of a power shutoff (which unfortunately, seems to be our reality these days where I live). Lucas, Josh, and their team were quick to give us a quote, find the generator we wanted, and get to work installing it in a matter of a few weeks. It's a fairly complex setup (as far as I can tell) and they were knowledgable and efficient. Though I hope we won't have to use this generator often, it's a huge source of peace of mind for me, especially as a parent to little ones.

I thought I had three outlets that did not work; it turned out to be four. I suspect that they had been out for quite a while. I thought the problem was with my blow dryers, so I just let my hair dry on its own. I never expected it could be my wiring. I went to several outlets and decided to call an electrician when none worked. The referral my neighbor gave me for a company he uses could only come out for a few days. I checked Yelp for electricians near me and Jamie's Power was top on the list. He had great reviews, although none from anyone I know. I read the other reviews these people wrote and they seemed like honest reviews.
Jamie came out the next day and replaced a GFCI, outlet and then the others worked. I was excited and I tried all the other formally dead outlets, they worked. but the prongs on the plugs came out hot. I called Jamie back and he came out and replaced them
This company is knowledgeable, reasonably priced, prompt, and friendly. He does not take credit cards, English is not easy for him. Neither of these will keep me from calling him again.

Our nearly 40 year old gas furnace has been acting up for two years now (fan blowing cold air long after the flames were turned off. We called Service Champion as a recommendation from the Diamond Certified book. The receptionist who scheduled us a visit (same day!) was very nice and very efficient. We were texted about 20 minutes before the service van arrived to let us know he was on his way. Adam, our service person, was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I turned the furnace back on and it worked (sigh!) He was very honest with us and told us that because it was an intermittent problem that was not re-createable (and the system had a very simple error code system that didn't give any meaningful information), that there was nothing he could do. He said he might be able to find someone to take it apart and find the issue but with a system that old any fix might not last long. Even though he was not able to help us, I felt he was being very honest. The person we had out to look at it two years ago and again in Feb. of this year had said the same thing LOL. I guess we were hoping a fresh set of eyes would be able to help. Because of his professionalism and over all demeanor, I will be calling Service Champion to give us a quote on a new furnace after thanksgiving.

We had Tim and his team come out on two occasions to work on lighting and wiring problems in our garage earlier this year. We got better lighting installed for the garage and a lot of the wiring was updated. They were super easy to work with and did an excellent job addressing our needs.

The service I received from this company was exceptional. They responded to my issue immediately. They provided outstanding service. I could not have asked for a better response.

Micah was very helpful and explained the different types of options for improvements of electrical wiring in an apartment building.
He is very responsive and I recommend MJS Electric Company!

We've had a longstanding electrical issue and that was quickly evaluated yesterday, much to our relief! We were also advised that we need to upgrade our panel (I know it to be true and not an upsell). I will use these folks again as I've added them to my address book for a quick call when needed - and for the panel change!

I called BV Electric based upon the recommendations from others on Yelp.
I am 100%, completely and more than satisfied with BV Electric.
More importantly, I am ECSTATIC with the level of service Boris provides.
Boris came to the house today (1/2/12) promptly at 8:30am as we had discussed prior to New Years. Boris is a true professional. He worked to understand my specific issues, the cause of the issues and the events that lead up to the issue (my uncle had offered to help in the garage so that our two lights would turn on simultaneously vs. having to turn them on separately. Despite what appeared to be best efforts from my Uncle, there was an issue that was causing the circuit breaker to pop every time we turned on the electricity to the garage.)
I thought we were in for a BIG service call.
Upon inspection, Boris identified that my Uncle had indeed done a professional job running wires, etc. The only issue was that one of our circuit breakers had been damaged due to an inconspicuous wire cut that was causing a short.
Boris provided additional insights on how best to finish out the garage drywall so that the electrical would be 100% up to code.
And what I was thinking would be big money turned out to be under $200.00.
MANY thanks for the excellent serviced provided by BV Electric, and specifically, Boris.
