Best Air Duct Installation in San Francisco CA
If there was a 0 star rating it would be appropriate for them. The salesman that came to our house and accessed our lack of air problems and he recommended a duct replacement. He professed that we would be blown out of our house. The workers came and installed the ducting. The workers were courteous and looked as though they did a good job. The issue was that the ducting never really solved our problem. They were always willing to send more guys out the next week to remedy the situation; however, after 3 years of countless visits with no real solution, we gave up. I feel like they are trying to provide good customer service, but no one was able to fix the problem. Bottom line they are good at selling and promising and poor on delivering their promise! I wouldn't waste time with these guys. They are all show and no go!

Was quoted $350-$400 for uninstalling and reinstalling two dishwashers for different locations. Then was given a different price of $700-$800 because Jason said the project would now require two people. Can't comment on the quality of the work but am annoyed with the communication issue with this business.
Updated: Jason reached out and said he would honor original pricing of $400 due to miscommunication. I had already made arrangements with my handyman when he responded which is why we did not choose them.

I paid Service Champions $15k to install a new tankless water heater and relocate our HVAC unit. They performed the work within 3 days. However, we came home to a house smelling of gas. You could smell the gas from the street. My 6 year old daughter slept in a room filling with gas from the main line connection and our garage filled with gas from the water heater. It turns out that all 3 connections they installed were leaking 5 cubic feet per hour. In addition, the installers left holes and de-rodent proofed our home. It was clearly an attempt to do it fast and not right. It took 4 visits over 5 days to finally get the gas leak corrected. We had to have PGE inspect each fix which kept failing. To SC's credit, they were on site everyday and were quick to respond. They also came back through and patched the holes they left. The last technician on site finally corrected the install which included a power outlet for our unit. The initial install the technician ran the power cord directly across my workbench at full tension. The other thing to be aware of is that we purchased a recirculating unit. When i asked that they program the Navien to recirculate, they had to to install additional parts. This leads me to believe they had no intention having the unit recirculate per their original install. This was a very frustrating install. I would think twice about using this firm for any gas line work or water heater installation.

Great job from the phone correspondence to the install. Jeremy (the owner) came by my house to consult the project and thoroughly explain each step. Considering my job was a 'small job', I was still impressed by his attention.
Got a phone call reminder the day before and the tech, Ray, showed up right on time. I appreciated his professional disposition and thoroughness to detail. The work truck looked clean, well stocked and organized. Ray finished up the job and left the site clean and ready for inspection. I had them pull a permit for me and they did all the paperwork including the schematic drawings and load calculations. Scheduled a county inspection which took all of 30 seconds.
Great company, great service. Will recommend and use in the future.

If you are planning a home remodel that involves HVAC call them. You might think that Ongaro is an established firm that is way over your head in terms of budget you would only be right on the first count. We had another small shop bid on the work and then called Dean Ongaro (for reasons unrelated to competitive bidding.) To our surprise the numbers came in just a few hundred more from the less experienced firm. A no brainer. The folks at Ongaro are true professionals and Dean and his brothers have built a great team.

I really was impressed with the professionalism of office staff in setting up an estimate for a new AC condenser. Also, the technician who came to do the estimate notified me that he was on his way and got me a professional estimate (that spelled everything out) immediately. He was very responsive to my emails.
They gave me the best priced estimate (Landlord Special) and if they had an available install date sooner, I would have gone with Pacific Coast.
I will definitely contact them the next time I have a HVAC need.

Update: Galaxy new ownership reached out to give them the opportunity to make things right and I appreciate the customer service effort in correcting past missteps of older management team. I would not hesitate to give the new Galaxy a chance for future work needed to be done.
