Best Solar Panel Installation in San Diego CA

We had Electric Lee come in a install 8 3-pole smart switches.  They were prompt, courteous and fair priced.  Highly recommend and will be certain to bid out a project with this outfit again.

I contacted E.R Electric after reading the amazing reviews on Yelp. Romo contacted me right away.  Note - I reached out to a few of the reviewers in private before contacting E.R. to inquire about pricing and a few other questions.. they all continued to rave about E.R. Electric.  

I needed an entire house re-wire on a ~900 sq ft house including a new electrical panel.  This included adding outlets to get the house to code.  I wanted everything to be done with permits and approved by the city.   I received quotes from a few companies.  E.R.'s quote was competitive and more detailed on work included then some of the other quotes.  

Immediately after agreeing to move forward with E.R. Romo got things going.  He handled everything with the city.  He has great communication skills. He was always willing to work around my schedule.  

I can not speak highly enough about Romo and his crew.  They were at my home for four days for the main rewiring job.  The crew came on time everyday. They were friendly and responsive to any and all of my concerns.  It is the small touches that let me know right away that this may be a great hidden gem of a company.  The crew always asked at the end of the day if I was happy with the condition the home was left in.  The crew arrived in nice clean clothing and their tools were clean.. these are small things but show pride in their job.  Every day they laid down tarps and took them up at the end of the day so I came home to a clean house.  They had to move a lot of furniture around and at the end of the week everything was in the exact place it was before they started the job.  My house is a vintage 1920 spanish that is still original and they did a great job of respecting this and making sure there was minimal patch work needed.  And they warned me ahead of time that there would be patchwork but it was much less then they originally assumed.  

The electric panel needed to be done at a separate time and Romo continued to provide me updates until things good schedule with the city and the work was completed.

Great job installing a 240V and 50amp outlet in our kitchen to allow us to upgrade our professional gas range to an induction one. He also installed another 240V line to a new heat pump water heater (allowing us to replace our gas water heater), all without needing to upgrade our 100amp panel. Jose was responsive, professional, reliable and the price was unbeatable: highly recommended.

We recently moved to San Diego from Paon Springs - having purchased a top-floor condo in the new Civita neighborhood. Since we live in a condo, it's always necessary to use licensed, bonded and insured companies for repair and improvement matters. Point Loma E&P was recommended to us by a friend of our realtor. Every interraction we have had with them has been exceptional! We had them change all our interior lights to LED, which required some retrofit due to having builder-installed CFL ceiling lights - we had several plumbing fixtures updated and installed a Point of use water filter dispenser in our kitchen. Shout out to David Smith, Luis Hernandez, Michael Morales and especially to Curtis Gordon for their exceptional service and professionalism!

Contacted Green Electric Solutions, who responded very quickly and was able to schedule the work for the next week.  When the electrician arrived, he was able to perform the work and clean up his work area (super grateful for that). At about midnight on Christmas Eve our property management firm was looking for an after-hours electrician after exhausting our current list of vendors. Mark Snyder promptly replied, set an appointment for Christmas morning, arrived on time, was professional and courteous to our tenant, provided photos of the repair, and followed up with a detailed invoice at a very reasonable cost. For a property manager, it doesn't get much better than that!

I am super happy I got John to fix a breaker that was acting up. He responded to my quote request asap and was honest from the start with his price quote. He was also very flexible with scheduling and very professional when I told him that I had to reschedule. Ocean Electric is now my go to company whenever I have some electric work to do. I was so impressed by their service that I already gave John a heads up that I'll soon be scheduling with him to do more work on my panel and also swap out some light fixtures. We have a rental property in Oceanside and were in need of an electrician. I found Rick with Olinger Electric on Yelp and based on other reviews decided to give him a try.  He was responsive right away and was able to squeeze us in between appointments the next day, which was awesome for our tenants.  He quickly found the problem, sent me photos to show me (I was not present for the appt) and fixed it quickly.  He's personable, was happy to explain exactly what was going on in terms I could understand, and I felt confident in his abilities.  I will definitely call him again should the need arise.

So I had a few things I needed to be installed / fixed around my house. I called a hand full of electricians after my last go-to kept pushing me back in his schedule because he was too busy.

It was a lot of the same honestly. Everyone is slammed, so it was either a long wait, a crazy price, or both. I am thankful someone recommended Alex and his team to me. I tend to avoid companies with crazy high perfect reviews, because (in my experience) they tend to be more of what I already explained. I promise you Alex is NOT that.

After calling Alex, he came out promptly to look at the job, gave me a quote the same day, and had a couple guys out to the house that weekend to knock it out. In all, I had a Ring spotlight, an attic light, a ceiling fan, and a couple sconces installed (all new wiring) as well as some troubleshooting (I attached a few pictures).

I had three guys from his team helping me out (I only recall Jesus and Guillermo's names). They were all super professional, did real clean work, and did exactly what I asked of them.

I have no problem telling you, because Alex made a point of telling me - Alex IS the cheapest quote you are probably going to find. This certainly was the case in my situation and absolutely did not take away from the quality of the work performed. Would recommend Alex and his team to anyone and certainly will be a return customer! Thanks again!

I had my electrical panel moved and upgraded. They came recommended by a friend who's an electrician and they were lower than the other bid I received. Communication was excellent with office and on-site people (stucco repair person - there's room for communication improvement). Scheduling was efficient and all needed info was provided/explained thoroughly. Coordination with SDG&E was seamless and their work done with a Smith employee on-site so I didn't get stuck in the middle. Smith coordinated as needed with my chosen solar installer and never tried to pressure me to use them for solar (I'm sure they would be great). They are a top notch team from the office staff to the owner, Dave Smith.
Room for improvement: Stucco repair person - please ask where you can rinse out/clean up. I didn't appreciate the stucco clean up area selected was my newly planted/mulched area in the front. I had to go back in and clean up the area to get rid of all the stucco sludge and hose off the plants that got sludge on them. Other than that - thrilled. Thanks!

This was a big purchase for us and we seriously did our homework, and hands down Family First Solar Electric was the right decision. The work was done with care and precision. The advice given was helpful and not pushy and the work came out beautifully and all of the panels are pumping out power from our roof (we can tell as they hooked us up with an app that does all kinds of neat stuff) do yourself a favor and go local and customer service oriented go Family First Solar Electric

I phoned HB Electric after breakers were tripped due to installing Christmas lights.  Eddie was out within a day and provided a short-term fix.  He came back out shortly after to install a dedicated circuit for current and future holiday lighting needs.  In addition, he's addressed a couple minor electrical issues around the house - everything done with complete professionalism at a reasonable cost.

I have been using Abel Electric (Eric) for over five years. for everything thing from major breaker box repair to outside lighting to ceiling lamp installation.  They are wonderful!  Great people to work with, highly professional and top notch competence.
