I had inquired about three small jobs (two lighting and one doorbell replacement) and a potential fourth for rewiring a light switch. When he first stopped by, I thought he was only going to look at the scope of the work, give me a quote, and then come back at a later date to complete it.

All four jobs were easy enough for him to complete in a day, and he did just that---actually completed them within hours. With the fourth job, there were options on how to handle the rewiring of the light switch, given the way things were already configured. Leo thought things through, explained everything he was thinking, and explained everything he's going to do. He did warn me about the cost differences, but I also envisioned what the results would look like.

Overall, Leo went above and beyond, and my wife and I are extremely happy! We are definitely reaching out to him for our future projects that require electrical work!

Rory responded to my request quickly and came to do the repair the next day to install a new 220v outlet for my laundry room. He not only did what I requested he found an issue with my circuit breakers and fixed it. He is very knowledgeable and cleaned up after his work. The work he performed was done very neat and precise. we called Frank on the recommendation of a plumber for our water heater which was suddenly not working post-storm, once we realized it was an electric issue. Great job installing a 240V and 50amp outlet in our kitchen to allow us to upgrade our professional gas range to an induction one. He also installed another 240V line to a new heat pump water heater (allowing us to replace our gas water heater), all without needing to upgrade our 100amp panel. Jose was responsive, professional, reliable and the price was unbeatable: highly recommended.

DID NOT RIP ME OFF!! Three electricians quoted for 3x the price I paid. I actually knew the problem I had and just because I was to scared to fix it myself paid McWay Electric. They answered all my questions and showed me how to fix it. Next they get my it won't be because I am scared it will be because the customer service is bar-none the best!

I recently purchased a hot tub without looking into its electrical needs. Three other electricians came out and all said the same thing... we needed a panel upgrade to the house.  Well the panel upgrade was going to require moving a gas line, a water line, and digging up the driveway to the SDGE line - needless to say a job more expensive than the jacuzzi itself!  It seemed like I was going to end up with a nonfunctional and non returnable hot tub in the back yard!  But after seeing some of the yelp reviews I thought I'd try one more time with Dean.  He came out and saw something in the panel that all the others had missed!! An empty breaker that was to power the dryer but we had opted for gas!! Dean mapped out a way to wire the jacuzzi using that empty slot and saved the day!  Actually the year!  His guys (José and team) came out and wired it up in a flash for a great price!!  Dean was so great in fact that he's even talked me through other electrical problems in our old house just because he's that kind of guy!  Clever, kind, and honest!  Thanks Dean!  You are a patio saver!!

I needed an EV charger installed. They sent out a knowledgeable person who did a thorough investigation of how it should be done using the existing power panels and wiring. They completed the work a few days later within the time estimates. They were all very friendly and accommodating and did an excellent job. I can highly recommend the company.

I just bought my condo ten months ago after being a long time renter.  During this time I've completed a bunch of improvements including new windows, custom shutters, new counter tops, new sink, new faucets, new paint etc.  BUT the single most dramatic improvement was the replacement of the enclosed fluorescent lights with recessed can lights in the kitchen and bathroom. The crew of Custom Electric exceeded my expectations with my installation. Roddy from Advanced Electrical Innovations was very responsive, arrived as planned, did the job and left the space clean.  He was in and out and did a great job. This was a small job, outlet installation, however I will be reaching out again for all our electrical needs.

James is an electrical visionary.  I hired him to replace a ceiling fan motor and conceal some television cables and ended having my condominium evolve into an updated, energy efficient and color of light conscious abode.  As with everything in life, you get what you pay for and he is isn't cheap, nor would I hire a contractor who was, but he is a true professional who wants his clients to have the best lighting experience.  He is coming back for more work next month, oh and call him soon because he is booked.

I had used too much power in one circut, resulting in 4 outlets and two light switches to go out, in my room alone. When christian arrived , he was a real polite guy, and very respectable. As he was working , I was shadowing him pretty much the entire time, and I got to see the magic unfold right before my eyes. First he took a look around at everything and then began trouble shooting. Once we figured out all the issues we had in the house to work on, Christian was as solid as a rock. He's a workaholic with tunnel vision, non stop on the way to get the job done! At the same time, on top of that, we made conversation the whole time , and had fun in doing so. I felt very comfortable with him in the house. Ive never met Christian, but It was like I had a long time friend with me that I haven't seen in a while!
