Best Solar Panel Installation in San Diego CA

I called up to have five relatively minor issues looked at and solved, ranging from sockets that didn't work to installing a different light in a small closet.  I had David and Fal come out and they were knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient.  They did a good job and in an hour and a half, we corrected all the problems that have been bugging me.  

I pick companies based upon Yelp ratings and I recommend this firm.

I work with Jose for all my electrical needs. He is knowledgeable, punctual and professional in his field. He is able to work with me on my projects whether it is installing a new digital a/c thermometer, changing switches, installing a new pendant light, or replacing ceiling fans he is the man to go to.

Chris is very professional and an excellent electrician.  I am glad I found him.  I won't use any other electrician for electrical needs.  He was very good.

Would definitely be sure to get a second or third opinion when having them come out. Asked for an estimate to have a tankless water heater installed and have them do some electrical work along with it(amongst other things), which was quoted for thousands of dollars. Didn't sound right, so had them send a second person out to take another look, only to be told the installation was not possible given my circumstances (which was fine). When I asked why the first tech wrote such a high estimate and for so much work, the response was he must have overlooked it. Not very comforting. Would definitely recommend doing your research and obtaining 2-3 opinions when dealing with them.

I was referred to James by my realtor. I hired James to install electrical for my stove and microwave and a couple of switches. Being a home from the 60's, we found out quickly my whole electrical system was out dated and obsolete. After fixing what I'd initially wanted he then replaced my breaker box, installed a fan and recessed lighting in my living room. James was originally scheduled for two days but made time out of his busy schedule to complete additional request on the third day. Great experience and will definitely use his services in the future. Will definitely recommend!

The guys at Green Electric are really knowledgeable and transparent with you. Received a quote from them for some electrical upgrades around the house. They gave us a few suggestion on what to do and what product to choose and their explanation definitely justified the cost. Great people to work with, I would definitely recommend.

This is the real deal here. He does what he says he is going to, when he says he is going to do it, and does not hold back in the quality of work he does.

He replaced our entire panel for an 8 unit complex and installed my car charger, ZERO PROBLEMS. He is very friendly and so is the crew that works with him. I HIGHLY recommend using him for any and all your electrical needs. :)

I was doing some remodeling and hired this company to come out and do some work for me. They did everything for a reasonable cost and time. They really knew what they were doing and were very professional. I had them run wires for some outlet and it turned out very well as well as doing some other work.

I really hate leaving negative reviews but this company (or at least their scheduler) deserves it. The scheduling employee Joan is extremely rude and unprofessional. Clearly has no idea what customer service is. They don't do evenings or weekends and when I gave them a 2 hour window in which I could be home during work they showed up 3 minutes before I had to be back at work and expected me to drop everything. When I tried to reschedule Joan informed me that I must reply immediately and told me that I chose to not be there when they showed up. I'm sorry but people have jobs as well and if scheduling is such a difficult thing for this company then maybe they should hire someone that understands that giving customers attitude is usually bad for business.

These guys are GREAT!!!! I had a breaker go out in my office that powered my server.   I called several electricians and no one could help me that day but John said he would be there in 5 minutes.  His office was not even open, but he came in early when I needed him.

After assessing the situation, he was able to correctly diagnose the problem and fix it.  My server was up and running and I could resume my work. He is honest and professional.  I will be using Ocean Electric for all my electrical services going forward.

Fantastic work! Rick is responsive and does excellent clean work! He replaced several GFCI outlets in one hour. They wore masks and lysol wiped areas after working due to the coronavirus outbreak. Highly recommend.

Beyond 5 stars. I'm usually skeptical when it comes to reviews but I decided to call Alex and what a great guy he was. Alex walked me trough the whole process of upgrading my panel and answers all my questions. Alex is well knowledgeable and even gave me advice on my project. It was affordable and within time frame. Alex delivered above and beyond. It was a pleasure having alex and his team working on my panel. I definitely recommended to anyone needing any job small or big.

In order to have Petersen-Dean Solar America install solar panels on 10/14/2016, we needed to upgrade our 1974 main electrical junction box to handle the increased power demands. They subcontracted this effort to Smith Electrical who arrived on site as planned, coordinated with SDG&E to turn off/on our power, and arranged for the Laguna Hills City Inspector to approve the work. Everything not only went according to plan, you could tell that their workers really enjoyed their work and took pride in the finished product. This old sailor says, BZ!

I needed to move some panels from one roof to another for a construction project for an addition, and Family First gave me the best price and did the job very quickly. The company that installed my panels went out of business, but Family First knew how to work with them and the system is working perfectly now that they made a few changes. I have space for additional panels and would benefit from adding a few more, so I look forward to working with FF in the future. They were great to work with, professional and friendly.

William was professional, prompt, communicated clearly and did a fantastic job.  Also, he was able to fit me into his schedule in a short time which I really appreciated.  He kept his entire work area clean and made every effort to clean up the area even more when he was done.  

I originally quoted out a job to install 3 ceiling lights in rooms that were only wired for lamps, and he gladly took on the job.  When he arrived though I realized that a fourth room needed a light fixture also and asked if it would be possible to also complete the 4th room at the same time.  William was happy to take on the extra work that he wasn't expecting and gave me fair pricing.  

If you are looking for a competent and honest electrician to do some work for you, I would highly recommend HB electric.

Edit: After my first experience with HB Electric I knew I found a good electrician.  After I called them out to fix a short in the wiring in my new home I knew I found MY electrician.  

I called my home warranty company to file a claim for the electrical wiring but they wanted just under $100 for a technician to come out and he was only available 2 days out.  I called HB Electric to come back out and they made it out the same day and went above and beyond to not only track down and locate the short in the wiring, but resolve the issue with new wiring.  

Once again William and Dominic were professional, courteous, kept a clean work space and went above and beyond in every way I could imagine.  I will recommend HB Electric to everyone that asks about an electrician in my area.

Erik and Max installed a ceiling fan in a vaulted ceiling room of my house along with an outdoor light mounted next to my garage. They were very professional and friendly guys, along with very good at their jobs. Installation was done in a very timely manner and for a reasonable price. Would recommend their services
