Worked with Jose to repair some poorly done wiring in the garage in our newly purchased home. He's very responsive and laid out a plan to get everything in working order. He was also willing to tackle a few other add-on electrical projects for us. He's very knowledgeable, has attention to detail, and just gets things done right the first time. He does great work for a great price. Next time I need an electrician, I'm calling Jose again.

We need to install an electric pole in one of our offices. McWay electric was here and had a quote to me within 24 hours of contacting them. Big thanks to Point Loma Electric and Plumbing. I was in a bind with a washer and dryer scheduled for delivery to our rental house, and we needed new valves ASAP. They were understanding and flexible, and scheduled us for first thing the next morning. David was our technician and he was fantastic. He was friendly, fast, clean, and accommodating, especially since the washer and dryer delivery guys showed up at the exact same time. And his work looks great! Overall, a top notch and professional experience all the way around.

He was the third electrician I called. He was the only one to ask me about this issue I was having and was even able to help me over the phone and save me the time and money it would have taken to have someone come out. If there is a next time, I sure there will be, he will be the first one I call.

David and his team are very professional, they promptly managed to remedy the numerous electrical problems throughout our home using exceptional skill as well as displaying an in depth knowledge of the material that was worked on. Alvarado Electric has quickly become my primary go to for any needed electrical service, and I definitely recommend this business.

This score was an interesting challenge. I contacted this company via Yelp (original ask was for an estimate) and received a reply from Jose that they could come out the afternoon of the next day. We agreed to the afternoon of the next day. I was provided with Jose's number and told to contact but I didn't want to be the contact. I provided the point of contact and number to coordinate. The next morning of the next day came and no update/response. I called the number and Jose got me scheduled for that afternoon. Glad I called.

Next I know my point of contact calls to tell me that the tech was there and already poking holes in the wall to assess my issue. The tech was able to root to the issue and I authorized to fix it since it could be done then and there. I was a bit bummed at the holes I now have next to my outlets (See pictures).

I get another call from someone else in the company for payment of $250. This was the first of any price so I asked for a discount and we settled. Most quotes averaged to $125/hr without seeing anything.

These guys are really great. So professional, efficient, and their prices are competitive! Lindon came over to install our new ceiling fan and he had it up and running in no time. Easy to book, showed up on time. Will definitely be contacting them for future projects and upgrades in our home!

Mark gives the best & most personal service in the business. I took an RV there because the air conditioner kept overloading the electrical system. I called several other places and no one wanted to do the job -- they all kept saying it was someone else's responsibility. Mark took responsibility and kept working until he figured out the problem -- a week after I left the shop. He kept thinking about it all week and finally came up with an answer, and then called the RV manufacturer to confirm it. Then he called me back to let me know.

Mark's totally honest and he'll never rip you off. Really affordable rates too. And he took the job on short notice because we were on tour and had a tight schedule. Other places were telling me I had to schedule an appointment a month in advance.

If i could leave 6/5 stars I would. John came over to help, on his day off and was so professional, nice and all around genuine. I was initially a bit freaked out as the power had completely gone out in our kitchen and this had been an on and off problem for a week. My wife and I couldn't figure out what the problem was. After John got here he assured me it was a simple fix and even taught me a little on how replacing the outlets and breakers for our home works. The best experience I have ever had working with an Electrician. I will definitely be calling John back if i ever have issues in the future. Definitely will be recommending to my friends and family that live in the SD area as well.

Rick Olinger and his team are top notch. They are COVID-19 compliant with masks, social distancing and they wipe down all surfaces with Lysol disinfectant wipes. Rick does excellent work and for a fair price. He's very professional, shows up on time and keeps to budget.  He covers everything with plastic and vacuums thoroughly so there is no trace of mess anywhere.

I had Rick put in two dedicated circuits plus a ceiling fan/light in our Casita. This required running a conduit from the main panel outside and putting a subpanel in the closet (needed for a future kitchenette). And then running the wiring to the furthest point away in the bedroom. Rick had to cut through a lot of the drywall in the ceiling of the shower and the bedrooms to make this happen.  He replaced he drywall,  and I will have our painter do the drywall texturing and painting.

Although it was not part of the job, he checked out six landscape lights in my backyard and replaced two LED bulbs for free.

I highly recommend Rick Olinger Electric. You would be hard put to find a better or more honest electrician.

I can't say enough positive things about Alex Lopez and his team. We have 100-year-old house and we got offers from three different electricians, one of them - ER Dash was clearly trying to scalp us. Alex noticed things that the home inspector had missed, did excellent work, solved the mystery's, and stuck by his original estimate despite the new discoveries along the way. He has integrity, His team is smart and thorough. We are delighted to have found them.

Dave installed or solar system for us and we are really happy with it! His workers were polite and everything looks and works great.

Most companies told us 1-3 months to get solar and he had it up and running in less than three weeks from when we first contacted him at the best price we found.

Fantastic work and fantastic professionalism.  They were the best price quote I had received and when above and beyond my expectations. I had Family First replace my main electrical box from a 60 amp to a 200 amp.  Not only did they replace the box flawlessly, they handled all the city permits and other details perfectly.  Without me even asking, they CAME BACK that week and touched up the paint that was scuffed up from removing the old box and tubes and wires.  Since all the work was on the outside, I didn't even know they were there for almost a week, because they CAME BACK AGAIN, to patch over the walkway they ran the grounding wire past, and painted it to match also!  I thought I had house elves for awhile, until they were spotted on the last day doing work. Highly recommended!

Had Joshua come out and install a 230v outlet in my garage. Was on time, finished super fast, made sure to clean up any mess that he made, and was all around professional from start to finish. Highly recommend

Our experience with Eric and Max was seamless. We had a kitchen leak requiring some remodeling and Eric and Max made themselves available on Saturday and then finished the job Monday. They were polite, clean and took care of a few issues for a reasonable fee.  It is difficult to find good, reliable people who respond in such a timely manner along with great work.
