He met with my tenant, fixed the issues with the electricity right away, and gave me very detailed recommendations on what should be done next to fix the problems long-term. So very happy. Have spent the past 1 1/2 yrs transforming my backyard hill into a comforting get away & Mark from H&H Lighting & Electrical help bring it to life. I now have beautiful path lights on my rail road staircase that ascends the yard. Beautiful up lights on my majestic eucalyptus trees. Also a beautiful gazebo chandelier & active pump to my pagoda fountain that is all tied into programed evening lighting in the backyard. It looks magnificent. Worked with Jose to repair some poorly done wiring in the garage in our newly purchased home. He's very responsive and laid out a plan to get everything in working order. He was also willing to tackle a few other add-on electrical projects for us. He's very knowledgeable, has attention to detail, and just gets things done right the first time. He does great work for a great price. Next time I need an electrician, I'm calling Jose again.

I had a problem with a GE dishwasher that was less than two years old. After GE failing several times to order the correct parts, diagnose the problem, and get it fixed, they screwed up again by concluding that the problem was a faulty wall outlet that the dishwasher was plugged into, not their dishwasher itself. So I had an electrician come out to replace the power outlet. James from Custom Electric was AWESOME. While GE was miserably failing at every step of my problem over a series of four visits on four different days, James came to my home once, correctly diagnosed that the problem really was the dishwasher, and fixed it himself. He also thoroughly tested the power outlet to make sure there was nothing wrong with it. He went above and beyond to do simple basic testing of the dishwasher to prove that's where the problem was. I'm amazed that GE couldn't figure out the problem with their own  dishwasher, and they didn't provide even half the level of service that James provided. James was very knowledgable about electrical stuff and took the time to test and diagnose accurately, instead of guessing and being lazy, which describes the poor service I got from GE. I highly recommend James and Custom Electric - cool guy, great service, very fair pricing. Thanks James.

Absolutely would recommend James to everyone. He installed two ceiling fans for me and did an amazing job and didn't make any holes in my walls in order to run the electrical to the switch he installed. Please know though he had attic access which helped make this possible. If you need any electrical work done, especially fan installations, give him a call. You will not regret it and his pricing is very competitive as I did look at a few options.

I was quoted $150 for Troubleshooting, diagnose and repairs.

Some outlets went out in my house. I tried resetting the outside breakers. I wasn't aware I had a soft panel inside my home. Louis came to my house and informed me I have soft panel. He flipped the switch on the soft panel in my house which took about 30 seconds. Still charged me the full $150 even though it was basically just a diagnosis. There wasn't any troubleshooting or repairs done. He was also over 40 minutes late from when he said he would be at my house.

Had a great experience today with these guys!  I called this morning to check on availability and get a quote.  Got on the calendar for the following day (tomorrow) but to my surprise there was a change in schedule and they were able to come today! Linden installed an outlet behind my TV which was above a fireplace.  He even patched the drywall!  All in all, Linden and his team did a great job, was professional, quick, clean and best of all... not too bad to look at!

Our overhead lighting went out monday afternoon. We are a small family restaurant and needed the light to be fixed quickly and when we are closed.  We found Ochoa Electric. And they service north county. When we called we received prompt service. The technician Enrique Gonzalez arrived promptly Tuesday at 9am as promised. Enrique did a great job!!

I found Rick's name here on Yelp. A friend who owns a restaurant was having a nuisance GFCI tripping issue. Rick was highly responsive, timely, communicative, and priced fairly. He took care of the matter promptly, and the client was satisfied with his service. Good guy and highly competent.

I needed to replace an alarm cable from a window to under the house.  I knew it was a pretty small job, but Dan Hunt was very pleasant over the phone and said he would be happy to do it.  He indicated that they install a lot of closed circuit surveillance systems, entertainment cables, etc., and that they were experienced in doing the type of work I needed. He estimated that it would take about one hour and cost $100.  He showed up a few minutes early, neatly taped plastic to catch drilled material, had his son crawl under the house to fish the cable through the newly drilled hole.  The job was completed within the hour, and I was charged $100 as agreed to.  He did the billing electronically at the job site, and I was able to receive an email with the invoice.  This company seemed honest, professional, they knew their trade, and I would definitely use them again.

Had EcoPeak build and outdoor kitchen based on a referral from a friend.  We are extremely happy with the end result.  Robert and Robert (father / son) did an outstanding job.  Very easy to work with, friendly, on time, showed up when they were supposed to, and made insightful suggestions along the way.  We are really pleased with their work and highly recommend.

We had a circuit in our home stop working and had a few other electricians try to troubleshoot and fix it. The first could not find the problem and the second (a much larger Co.) could not either, but recommended over $7k in new wiring and upgrades. The technician from TruBlue, James, was able to find the problem and fix it in under 2 hours at a fraction of the cost. TruBlue came out on a weekend, within a couple days of contacting them and kept in touch by text and email. The tech was on time, professional and pleasant.

ASL team is very responsible, they did my panel upgrade and while it was a pain due to it was a very old and unique design, Johnny and his team really overcome all difficulties with professionalism and without giving me any additional headaches. This is why I hired them and I'll continue doing it, because on my house projects I expect to have only the best, and these guys were. Hope they continue with the good work, and their business continue growing.

Trout Electric, I needed a nema 14/50 wall plug installed for my wife's new Tesla, but found out I needed to upgrade our electrical box from 100 amp to 200 amp. Crap. The good news Trout Electric did a great job.
Gil & Scott did the work, they removed the existing box and placed a new 200amp box in its place. Very clean installation. The guys were very personable and took great care in there work. The second part to the installation was that I needed to get my wall fixed. Zeke came out to fix the hole in my wall from the installation. Picture your outside wall of your home with a hole to the studs, ok how is this going to get fixed the right way. Zeke's your man, he did excellent work - the right way. Everything ways in stages. Placing the felt, screen, brown coat  right to the spraying of the stucco. The finish product looked as if was original- perfect!
