Best Electrical Panel Installat… in San Antonio TX

I was really nervous to find a decent electrician - I thought I'd either get some yokel who couldn't figure out the problem or a total shyster who charged $600 the second he walked in the door.

I found Bolt Electric here on Yelp, so I crossed my fingers and gave them a try. They responded quickly, fixed my weird outlet issue, and were reasonably priced. The gentleman who came out was personable, professional and well-spoken.

I'd recommend Bolt to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy electrician!

Steve did an amazing job and was extremely well in giving us update and communication. We asked Steve to install a Tesla charger, some outlets outside in our deck area and a ceiling fan. He worked fast and got us ready to enjoy our outdoor space!

Stetson and his apprentice, Sammie showed up on time, ready to work at my rural Truck Park. They were professional, focused, and got the job done correctly and promptly, including back breaking trenching and shovelling. Hard to find electricians willing to do the dirt work, but Stetson and Sammie did it. Good communication throughout, and reasonably priced too. They have my highest recommendation!

We decided to call Hunter electric after we received a couple of quotes and no call back from some other companies. Hunter electric was outstanding and professional, we worked with Colby and with Juan, and they installed a generator in light panel for a reasonable price, on time and professional. We appreciate that they went above and beyond in regards to asking for feedback and for being polite every step of the way. Thank you Hunter electric for securing our home should there ever be a power outage!

These guys are awesome! Came over with no issues to inspect my system and pointed out CO2 problem & were able to fix the system same day! Great service, great customer service, and great value! Professional, safe, thorough, efficient and reasonably priced. I had a wiring issue before I could install a new pool pump timer. Steve was there when he said he would be and did what he said he would do. He even came back to check the wiring when timer wasn't working and he determined it was a defective part. He then rewired the replacement part - gratis. Now THAT's customer service. I would use him again and recommend him to anyone needing an electrician.

Had a problem with one of my GFCI outlets. Called and spoke with Greg @ Malco eletric.  As there were booked up for a few weeks, Greg guided me through the process so that I, myself, could replace the GFCI correctly. He asked me to send him a picture of the wiring on the back of the outlet and then called me, telling me how to wire it properly. WORKS!

I just moved into my first home, and I had no idea where to start in terms of the electrics. Its a 1950's house, so I knew there had to be some updating. Brian came over and gave me specific estimates of what had to be done, what probably should be done, and what I didn't need to worry about. There were several instances where he could have overcharged me. Instead, he proposed alternatives that ended up solving any issues in a less expensive way. Shopping around for electrical work was not easy.  I kept getting quotes from big box electrical companies thinking that they were the only ones that could do my whole house remodel, but the prices were unreasonable and way over my project estimate for electrical.
So, I moved to support a locally owned business. I wanted someone that I could trust with my whole house remodel which included replacing all the electrical wiring including installing a new panel on my  60-year-old home.
Jeff, the Owner, did an amazing job. He was meticulous and we could not have been happier with the work that he did.  When it came time for the inspection, the City Inspector was impressed with his work.  He said, looks like he takes pride in his work! In addition to rewiring the whole house in the structural state, he added can lighting, and also added up-lights to the outside which gives the house a whole new look.

We recently had issues with our electrical service. We did not know what was wrong but eventually got so bad we had minimal electric in our house. I called several electricians and none of them were able to arrive for several days. I called Jesse Padilla at KJ Electric and he had someone at my house within an hour. When Roland arrived he did an extensive evaluation of our electrical system. when we purchased a home in 2020 we were told if the entire electrical system had been replaced however Roland found that the exterior panel had not been and was over 35 to 40 years old. They were able to temporarily repair our problems and came back a few days later and completely replaced the exterior panel. The price was extremely reasonable and Roland worked very hard and did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend Jesse Roland and KJ electric for any electrical problems you may have

Looked at all the reviews and saw good and bad, so decided to take a chance and call Jon Wayne.  What a wrong decision.  Explaining my Electrical problem to the service desk I was told there was a $29 diagnostic service fee, which I was ok with.  When the technician came out and heard the same problem and stated that the diagnostic fee was $129??  The bill he gave us has both of these diagnostic fees: $29 as just a Service Fee and $129 as an Advance Diagnostic Fee.  While the work performed was very good, the add on chargers were outrageous.  In addition to the diagnostic charges, added $49 to do the work and $68 for the Electrical outlet that he replaced (which costs about $10 retail, talk about a high markup).  To be fair we were given a Military discount of 10% off the inflated prices.
