I had two electrical outlets added to a bedroom from Electrician Techs. Moe was very communicative by texting or calling immediately when he needed to contact me. They were upfront and reasonable with the pricing. Fabian was great and tried to make as little holes as possible while running the wire through the wall. Great experience and we would work with them again

Klodian and his team are highly professional. His tech showed up with a mask and booties to keep my floors clean. I hired them for a service call to repair some weird outlet and lighting issues after my failed attempt to install a single pole rocker switch. My hall light wouldn't turn back on ... and a livingroom outlet that was connected to that switch also died. I used a digital multimeter and didn't get volts. I was stuck and opted to go forward with the service call. Klodian quoted me a very reasonable price for the service call, though the price would go up should rewiring be necessary. It wasn't, and he stuck to the estimate for the hour and a half service call. He wasn't the cheapest, or the most expensive, but he was knowledgeable, responsive, and gave me complete confidence before, during, and after the service call. Thank you for awesome work, I have referred the other shareholders in my building to him and other projects that will be going his way.

I needed some outlets and switches fixed FAST and Richie was here within a couple hours, was pleasant and professional, fixed everything quick and easy, and charged a reasonable price. I will be working with him again and would highly recommend him!

The power in half of my apartment building went out last summer and we had a temporary jump to our electricity. We needed it to be jumped back and that's when I called Mickhael. He was very professional and extremely quick. He explained everything that was being done. I would definitely call him again!

Rip off artists! Quoted me $8,600 to fix an issue at my business. I called another licenced electrician and he resolved the issue for $220!!!!
These guys played with the wiring, then shut off the breaker. The electrician that came later said the wiring was messed with by someone and it was a very simple fix. (I didn't tell him there was another electrician there earlier in the day! )

Nice and reliable guy but...  it took two visits, 5 hours of work in total and a $900 bill... to find one outdoor electrical outlet that was rusted and creating a short.   What was more disappointing is that the same outlet creating the problem was apparently tested during the first visit but deemed in good working order (not sure how that happened).  When at the end of the second visit we discovered by luck where the problem was coming from (we heard a pop in the faulty outlet while testing something else)  I pointed out that the issue should/could have been identified the first time around if tested properly and as a result I politely asked for a break;  my request received no consideration - my time is my time I was told.  I respect that.  But so here it is: 2 stars and I am tempted to add  my opinion is my opinion so be it.

We bought our house and needed serious rewiring and recessed lights installation work done. John came and listened to my concerns and needs. He provided me the quote and same evening, sent me the list of materials he would require to complete the job. After delivery of materials, John was quick to install the lights and begin the rewiring work.
Our plan was to install a multitude of 3 switches, create separate lighting zones, as well as other ad-hoc ideas.
John was always willing accommodate and was able to complete the job accurately. I also want to commend him on his communication skills and quick responses at any time of day.
Will definitely turn to him for our electrical needs.

All of the outlets went out in my basement . I called these guys and they sent someone out in less than an hour. They work hard to fix the problem in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price. They were awesome and I am so glad I found them!

Mike is extremely quick to respond to inquiries, and manages expectations properly on services he can provide. Was able to solve my issues efficiently.

Just used Dan again and another job well done. Answered my message right away and was able to come fix the problem the very next day. He fixed my pool pump and tested and secured an outdoor outlet. My kids were thrilled that he was able to fix our issue promptly and that they were able to swim that same day. He is honest, professional, and overall a really nice guy. We will always use this company for our electrical projects.

We needed a new breaker box, as ours was falling apart. CS came by to give me a quote and checked out the electrical in the whole apartment. I thought I might have to rewire the whole place, but they told me that after they swapped out the box that it would probably fix our issues. They steered me away of spending money I didn't need to spend, when they could have easily told me I needed to do more work. They came in, put in the new box, left the apartment cleaner than it was, and were super nice the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Spent less than 20 mins to troubleshoot to say call NationalGrid to activate the PLP meter and proceeded to charge $260.  Will not use or recommend to anybody.  RIP OFF.

First off when you deal with CEL Electric, you're dealing with the owner of the company not just another employee. Scott has done several projects in our 120 year old brownstone and these are not simple or straightforward jobs. The building's wiring is original and needs to be handled with great care and that's exactly what we've experienced on each job he handled for us. His electrical work is first-rate and he is meticulous working with outlets and switches on old, dry plaster walls and fans on ornate ceilings and that's something often overlooked with electricians. Each and every time I've called, he's been super responsive and we've had no qualms with his quotes. No reason to even think about using anyone else and that's a great feeling.

Yoni responded quickly on the phone, came to give an estimate promptly, and started on time.  He accomplished the job, running a 220 volt line from upstairs through the main floor, down to the basement laundry room in five hours, for which I paid him $1,500.  For such an amount, I expected that my place would be left as it was found.  It was not.  Please see photos.

Awesome! We installed four ceiling fans, one of which required a new   box and also wall switch and also swapped out several old switches throughout my home. Extremely professional and courteous. We will absolutely plan for future jobs!

Don came this past Sunday to fix a burnt outlet in our home. After having the fire department here the night before, and feeling like we narrowly avoided a house fire, we were anxious to have this fixed quickly. Don was the only electrician who returned our call (we know most companies are closed on Sundays but at least call back) and he called back quickly. He also said he was coming over and was here in just a few minutes! Don fixed the outlet super quick and looked through the other rooms and checked our circuit box in the basement. He was pleasant and kind and gave us peace of mind that the house was safe. Don's price was reasonable & we would definitely use him again. Highly recommend!!

I contacted Sergey through Yelp and he responded within 10 minutes. He provided a quote for the replacing a kitchen faucet. While a bit higher than the others, I thought it was fair and booked him given his solid Yelp reviews. He showed up on time and finished the job quickly. The installation looks good and the faucet is functioning well. All in all, a great process and results. I would definitely call on him again.

Needed an electrician last minute for a neon chandelier install for one of our clients because our initial electrician backed out last minute. Usually when we mention high voltage or neon most electricians would back away but after talking to Avi over the phone about the process and materials we would need he hopped on the job! He efficiently provided the electrical work we needed to complete our job and he was truly a life saver! we couldn't have asked for a better person to do the job! I totally recommend Avi if you're in need of any electrical work! (especially neon)

After doing a search for licensed electricians through angie's list and comparing it with the reviews here in Yelp, I chose Roman to handle the electrical job which involved changing voltages in my nyc apt.   I am so glad I chose Roman because he was prompt, trustworthy and courteous. And he kept his word with his quote and appointment.  I also met with Serafin, who came by on a weekend to make sure my job was done fast at a time that worked best for me. We tested everything and he even helped me understand how my apt was wired. He was punctual, honest, and really patient with all my many questions.  Just as impressive, they were the most affordable licensed expert from the exhaustive search I did on angie's list and yelp  - thank you guys! I normally don't write reviews but this one was worth it.
