Very happy with the work Electrician Techs did. Mo was effective at communicating and scheduling the work. And Steve did a good job installing some new recessed lights and hanging a TV on the wall. He even stayed very late in the night in order to get the work done. I'm very pleased with their work and plan to use them for any future electrical work that I need.

Klod and the team is amazing! He went above and beyond to fix my water heater. Normally they don't do same day bookings, but he knew it was an urgent situation so he prioritized me and schedule an appointment. He also made sure that everything was working perfectly before leaving. He was giving me detailed explanations as he did the repair to help me understand the problem. Also he was extremely nice to give me consultation on questions I've had for electrical projects in the house. He even drew a diagram for me to explain how I can install my project. I'm grateful that I've hired them for my repair job and got to meet them. Definitely will be hiring them again for anything.

Funny enough, he mentioned that he always runs into electric water heater issues in new construction buildings, because of the developers not properly running them when installing. I recently found out that he was completely right and our whole condo had to get their water heaters replaced! Thanks for the help Klod!

I had a circuit blow during a rainstorm which caused all the lights in the apartment to go out. Thought it was going to be a big job, but Rich was able to come early the next morning and fixed it in 20 minutes. His rate is reasonable. Highly recommend!

He has good reviews but when I contacted him he said he'd call me later. Didn't call. When I contacted him again he just told me to call Nick, who would help me. Um, don't know anything about Nick so no thanks.

We had a problem with our heat during a very cold winter spell.  Mark was called out to fix the problem.  He was very trustworthy, efficient and went above and beyond.  He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything step by step.  Work completed in a timely manner.  Excellent follow-up.  Fast service.  reasonable prices. I need a complete electrical upgrade in my home and a 220V line installed for an electric stove. One of the owners of G & R responded to my call promptly, was very engaging and seemed knowledgeable. He drew up a diagram, took photos, and explained the process we'd have to go through with Con Ed. We even discussed future work that he could do for us. He promised to send me an estimate within a day.....3 weeks later, I still haven't heard from him. I called for the first week and got no answer and his vm was full. The second week I continued to call and was able to leave a vm. I was ready to give him a deposit, but now it's back to searching for an electrician.....VERY disappointing.

Master electrician Mike Sparky Hitchingham is one of a rare breed these days.  He loves what he does and takes pride in his work in the manner of 'old world' craftsmen.  First, Mike tried to 'talk me through' an electrical solution on the phone that would have made his service call unnecessary.  Wow!  When that phone coaching proved too difficult, he promptly came up and solved an ongoing electrical problem that we've had for years.  If you like to be hands on, Sparky is your man.  He will put you to work (that's optional!) and teach you what he's doing so you can be an electrician's apprentice!  He will curse out your previous electrician and tell you what a lousy job they did and why.  He will correct the problem and predict what is likely to fail in the future so it can be prevented.  Oh, and did I mention this was on a Sunday??  So, yeah, I have become a Sparky Hitchingham fan.  But don't make him so busy that I can't get him the next time I need him!

Dan was great. He came by the house on time and worked quickly and efficiently. He was very accommodating. He will be my go to electrician.

Don't recommend. He was like you didn't pay me from three years ago. I said why didn't you say anything? Nothing. Slightly aggressive and annoying. I would hire someone else.

Scott was very communicative and able to come out on short notice, no hoops to jump through. He saw the job through until it was totally fixed and remained available and responsive during a small hiccup with the project.

Would definitely recommend.

Yoni is a legend.

I was having dinner party and wanted to get a chandelier installed over the dining table. But I didn't get around to calling up an electrician until the absolute last minute. Several companies I tried turned me away because of my tight timeline. But Yoni said he could come over the same day I called. He arrived with nothing more than a backpack and got to work on my apartments dilapidated mid-20th century wiring. It ended up being a very very tricky job but he pulled it off, and all before the guests rolled for dinner at 8pm!

Afterwards, I asked Yoni to come back and do some more work. He arrived with his partner and the work was done in no time at all. Afterwards, he followed to make sure all was OK.

Avi is a lifesaver. His team was originally only available the following week. But when I told him I needed the light fixed in the kitchen of my elderly parents, he fit me in after a cancellation within a few hours of talking to him. Very reasonably priced. Came with 2 men to handle the kitchen light and ceiling fan installation to save on time.  Arrived on time. Very pleasant and understanding on the phone.

Yes, ma'am!!! would be my answer if you ask whether you should use Handyma'am.  Katie hung two ceiling light fixtures and installed two dimmer switches in my Manhattan condo, and she did a neat and proper installation, even with one of the old fixtures proving to be a challenge to remove.  Her fine art background came as no surprise to me when I saw the care and attention to detail with which she worked. Her communication skills before and during the job were a total breath of fresh air after I'd dealt with workers who left me waiting all day and never showed up -- and others who grunted and didn't speak English when they did show up.  For anything that may come up in the future, I will definitely keep contact info for the Handyma'am handy!

Ramon was very personable and fairly prompt.  He used a little pen like device to repair relatively all of my fixture problems.  He proceeded to go to his truck (when he got back quite some time later he said that he didn't have the correct light dimmer switch so he went to Gracious Homes down the block) to obtain a switch to replace mine.

After he left I noticed that the switch was not turning on the light immediately after I pressed it on.  I called Ramon and he said that it would cost me an additional $180  if the problem was my fault...
I chose to forego his additional visit.

Several weeks later all of the blown out bulbs that were fixed we're inoperable again.

I am extremely disappointed in this serviceman's operational integrity. He does not stand behind his service and the repair of my antique lighting was only very temporary for a cost of $180+ the cost of the new inferior switch.

Better to research your repairman more thoroughly next time! Roman kept telling me that my antique dining room fixture was old and I should just replaced it even though I explained that it had been my mother's fixture and meant a lot to me!

Ramon...In answer to your retort...my antique fixture was refurbished with new wiring and polishing about eight years ago when I moved from my house into the city.  It is a cherished lighting fixture and I relied on you to correctly fix it...not temporarily use a fix it pen for the repair.  

In addition the main reason I recalled you was because the switch you replaced in the dining area does not work properly. There is a distinct pause before the fixture actually operates.  This has remained the main problem I have with your service...there is no spontaneity for the light to function.  This was why you said you'd charge an additional $180!
Every time I put that light on it malfunctions. There is no reason for a brand new switch to do that at any time!
