Electrical outlets for 2 rooms shorted out and stopped working in old-fashioned Bushwick Brownstone. Needed both up and running ASAP.

Work came out absolutely perfect. Electrician was punctual. Job was done in 2 hours and everything here is back to normal. A true professional, would hire again for any serious electrical work, they've earned my trust.

Rich and his staff are incredibly professional, very reasonably priced and absolutely pleasant to work with. He came out within two hours to fix a very dangerous problem welsomething had been wired wrong and my lights have not given me a problem since! I have saved his number for Future jobs should I need anything done here, Rich will be the only one I call.

This is an update that I wanted to add today. As I said I would be using Rich for future jobs. I have done so. The house that I was managing was in a state of disrepair due to the original owners neglect. The projects I had to have this man do were numerous and I can honestly say he did the whole thing for under five grand! We're talking re-wiring boxes, installing ceiling fans, the whole works! anything you can think of that went wrong would go wrong in this house, and Rich and his staff (in particular Devon) did a wonderful job repairing it all for a fantastic budget. Always look at these guys first they are the real deal!

Wonderfully pleasant and low key to work with. He got the jobs done and they are perfect. He installed two chandeliers and added dimmers. I am a happy customer and recommend him for these types of job that are a bit more involved than what a super can handle.

Mark saved our Thanksgiving!

My husband and I just moved into our apartment and for the first time, hosting Thanksgiving for our families. Two days ago, the lights underneath our kitchen counter that we turn on to prepare and cook food went off. Total darkness in the kitchen. My husband, the electrical engineer, tried new bulbs, restarting the fuze, etc, but nothing worked. I called NYC Electricians after reading their glowing reviews, and they surpassed my high expectations. Mark came on time, and got to the root of the problem - the transformers - within the first few minutes. He spent about an hour with us, and voila - then there was light!

Mark also gave us some recommendations as to a new light switch (we live in a pre-ware apartment and everything is very old). We are very happy to have found NYC Electricians and would highly recommend Mark.

An electrical outlet suddenly began to make a loud buzzing and began to spew black smoke. I was frightened, needless to say. I called Nair Electric and described the problem. Within an hour Gaston was here after having stopped at the hardware store to buy the right part. Extremely excellent and professional service! And this was on a Sunday! Contacted multiple Electricians via Yelp. Michael was the only one that called back and followed through.  Had a few rounds of back and forth calls and emails to outline the job and ease of it, only to find out, what I was looking to have done wasn't feasible.

I can only estimate that Michael spent a few hours of his own time including a home visit to really assess our plans.  Quickly...realizing it wasn't going to work out the way I needed it to...we terminated the job and without cost to me or guilt.

Michael was professional and handled both myself and the situation well. So, I'm very happy to put ina good word here on his behalf. I would definitely recommend Michael and his company for jobs small and large

They helped me figure out the problem I was trying to solve quickly, and it saved me unnecessary costs. I appreciated their quick responsiveness and competence.

Didn't come when scheduled or call to tell my he'd be late. I had to call him to find out where he was and he said he could come later. When he did come I had him change three lighting fixtures. He charged me $90 for each one. One of them didn't work but he charged me anyway and was going to leave me with no light there until I told him that I needed some sort of light in that room so he reattached a part from an old fixture there so I have a bulb and wires hanging out of the ceiling. Left parts of fixtures, plaster, and electrical parts everywhere. Got plaster all over my new couch. He said he'd come back and put up the new fixture when I get a replacement but I'm afraid he'll get plaster and parts everywhere so I'm going to have to go with someone else. What a waste of money.

Scott was very communicative and able to come out on short notice, no hoops to jump through. He saw the job through until it was totally fixed and remained available and responsive during a small hiccup with the project.

Very responsive, professional and reasonably priced. The owner came to provide a free estimate for the replacement and relocation of a Federal Pacific panel at our co-op just a couple of days after I first called. He promptly gave us a written proposal and came with a worker to do the job. He was on time, kept me informed, and left the closet where the panel is located cleaned even though patching wasn't included.

Don and Pat were great. They arrived early and worked quickly (but carefully) to locate the short circuit in our 100 year old walls. We look forward to working with them again.

I had an emergency outage in an apartment. Electrify responded quickly; sent out a man to address the problem. He quickly reviewed what was causing the outage, was able to get things working again, and then proposed a longer term solution. The pricing was fair.

I've been working with Katy for 5 years now. Always on time, always follows through and always does a great job! Her motto is, Look. If it's not worth doing perfectly, then it's not worth doing at all. Her attention to detail is amazing. She brings to my attention any issues there might be AND how to solve them. I use her a lot. I called Roman this morning thinking he'd come some time next week to rewire our intercom system, but he said he had an opening today and came in a matter of hours. He was knowledgeable, personable and friendly... a combination I rarely find. Next time I need an electrician, Roman will be the first person I call!
