I don't think your being in business for 20 years is even relevant to this conversation. Actually, it makes you look even sadder that you couldn't figure out what the problem was. Let me clarify and reiterate a few things here:

1)      My HVAC system was installed 7 years ago. A: so you think that it's reasonable for me to call the A/C guys up after all this time to demand that they fix the issue for free, but you don't think it's reasonable for me to expect even a discount on your service call charge when you send me someone who doesn't know what on earth he's doing? B: if my A/C company didn't do the work correctly the first time, why in the world would I want them to come back to do the work again a 2nd time? C: are you basically saying that you are incapable of fixing a bad wiring job and only able to work on new construction? If that's the case, you're working in the wrong neighborhood.

2)      The electrician who I hired after you was in NO way associated with the people who installed my HVAC system. Let me point out that he did not reach into his bag of excuses to explain to me that only the original installers of my HVAC could fix my problem. He simply fixed it. How far back does your lame excuse go by the way? If my knob and tube wiring that was installed in 1925 goes south, do you ask your customers to contact the original installer to fix the problem too?

3)      You say that your technician tested multiple wire runs and the readings were inconclusive. Let me translate this gibberish. The electrician you sent to my house (who looked like this was his first job out of school btw) spent 20 minutes probing the wiring with a device I could have bought at Home Depot and confirmed to me that my thermostat was broken. Thank you, but I already knew that. Sorry, but when I hired a 20 years in the business electrician I was expecting him to bring some knowledge with him along with his gadgets. The only reason he stayed a full hour was because if you were going to make me spend $135 for nothing, I might as well try to put him to work. The other 40 minutes of his time was spent diagnosing other electrical questions I had that had nothing to do with what you were hired for. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone has a first job, and I'm not expecting you to know how to complete every job that you're given. But what's really disappointing is that you can't own it when you've made a mistake and you continue to double down on your bad stories. Be fair and reasonable to your customers and you keep them for life. It's not that complicated.

Casey was able to efficiently install 3 light fixtures for us, one of which was extremely heavy and detail oriented. I would definitely recommend him! He was respectful of our furniture and space throughout the day as well which we appreciated.

I needed to make some plumbing repairs in preparation for the sale of my apt and this is one of the companies that responded, quite promptly I would add. I was able to schedule in advance of the date I would be onsite and they provided the necessary paperwork for my bldg timely. On the day of, Tony showed up and essentially told me all that was needed to make the repairs and the total estimated cost. The only issue, is that I wish I had time to shop for the materials at the cheapest price vs needing everything right away to get the work done and he provided no receipts for the materials. However, Tony and his partner completed all of the work within a couple of hours and did a great job and so that was what was most important.

Contacted them, they were back in touch within 30 mins.as thery daid thry would be on my text.  They were considerate, clean and respectful.  I would call them again in a heartbeat. m

Great experience. Showed up in a mask, had feet coverings. He was professional and easy to communicate with. He did not cheat you of any time and made sure he did a good job and everything was working well before leaving. Highly recommend!

Azam was wonderful.
While two previous electricians came and wanted to charge and outrageous amount just to trouble shoot.
Azam came in did a quick check of the outlets and was able to fix one of the issues the same day.
He came prepared with the tools and materials he needed.
He needed to come back the next day for my 2nd issue. He was on time and finished the Job in one day. He also cleaned up after the work efficiently which most contractors do not do.
I appreciate his honesty and workmanship. I will def be recommending his company and using him in the future.

I am so happy with their service. Not only did they take apart an antique armoire that couldn't fit thru my narrow stair case, but they also put it back together in a way that's very easy to take apart and move in the future.

Installed a window AC. Sturdy and looks great! He was very pleasant and responsive and went above and beyond!

We put out several feelers looking for an electrician to install a chandelier in our living room with channeling in order to hide the wires.  We went with Riviera Electric Corp because of their honesty and quick response time, not to mention the great quote. Roberto and his team were incredibly professional, cordial and hard-working. Their work was precise and super thorough. Roberto even went above and beyond to get us the right dimmer switch so we can switch from incandescent to LED lights (which saves us money). They took great care to make sure our apartment was not covered in dust during the work and then they took the time to clean up afterwards. We felt very taken care of. I cannot recommend them highly enough.  Go with team Riviera!!!

I could not be more pleased with the work I received from this business. I expected the usual nonsense of overcharging and talking down to me as a women. But no! The owner gave me an estimate within minutes of me describing my job here on Yelp. He arrived here on time, early in fact, with all the necessary tools, ready to work. He was personable, amusing even. A delightful gentleman. He troubleshot my problem even though it was a bit more complicated than I myself had originally dia.  Even still, he stuck by his original price. I appreciated that very much. He solved another problem for me that I asked his opinion of. He handled that also at about half what I expected to pay for a diagnostic service call from another company. I am a property manager and I have dealt with all kinds of electricians and electrical contractors for nearly 30 years. This was by far my best experience. I will use him the next time I need an electrician, hopefully again and again.

Neal arrived during the scheduled window to replace a blown circuit breaker.  He did a great job at a reasonable price.  Courteous, explained what he needed to do then did it.  I would use FCE again without hesitation.

They were excellent. They repaired issues in minutes and were very professional and didn't waste time. I took their car to give to neighbors.

Gary is a true pro.  He got here at the appointed time, on a Sunday.  I spent less than 2 minutes explaining the problem. He fixed it, cleaned up and was finished in under 15 minutes. Excellent work. His fee was a lot less than I expected. I've hired a few service professionals over the years and always felt as though they would try to add services and unnecessary repairs. Not Gary. I highly recommend GAT. You won't be disappointed.

I reached out to a dozen of electricians (a lot of high Yelp ratings) to put in a 40 amp Wallbox EV charger in my garage. Some wanted to overcharge me and some did no call no shows. Roland from NYC Tesla Electricians gave me a quick response, arrived to my house ON TIME for the consultation, and completed the job in one day. He also didn't try to overcharge like other electricians. I am usually wary of hiring companies with no Yelp review but I am so lucky to find this company to finish my small project. Please give NYC Tesla Electrician a try and support them by giving them Yelp reviews so they get more future projects!

This guy does all wrong wrong . You will need to hire someone to rd do everything .

I hired him for two projects to change all sub panels . He couldn't even wire the breakers properly .

He also plays a game gives you a price n then says o this is extra .

You clearly know what you need to get the job done . But he will leave things out so he can bill you more

Be aware . Stay clear you will have to do double work
