I can't tell you how many electricians I called during this time (good electricians with equally rave reviews on this app or recommended by family). I left many messages, sometimes multiple messages to the same place, without getting a return call.

I emailed Gladiator Electrics once and Mike responded back right away. He set realistic expectations for when they had their next availability, and was able to schedule us in. We had some minor things that we needed repaired in our home inspection along with light fixture installation. Mike sent a quote to us right away for each thing we needed. We even received a reminder email.

Eric came the scheduled day. At first I thought that maybe we would have to explain to Eric everything we sent to Mike (not that it would be a big deal). I was impressed that Eric was actually already thoroughly familiar with everything that we discussed with Mike via email, and even the things in our home inspection . He was well prepared and did a great job, and really educated us also as first time homeowners about things like our dimmers, recessed lighting, etc.

Mike runs his place like a true business. His team is  professional, responsive, transparent, and respectful. I would recommend them to anyone.

Saw the signs everywhere so we trusted them.  They showed up on time but weren't nice. Wanted $550 to change two electric outlets. Charged us $130 for the visit. Then they called us EVERY DAY for their $130. We paid them. Still they call EVERY DAY. Clearly not focused on our needs. Only focused on billing. Do NOT recommend Them.

Very professional and very affordable. Very pleased with the range hood he installed. Didn't leave any mess behind. Everything looks sleek and he didn't even have to break any walls to install.

Stay away...!  Extremely dishonest!   We called ASAP solutions because we had a leak in our toilet.  Their plumber came put a seal around the base of the toilet and said that if the leak continued we had to change the whole toilet.   I called a different plumber because the toilet kept leaking and it was a super simple problem inside the tank where we didn't even need to change parts.  They repaired it in 2 minutes.  They couldn't believe ASAP Solutions told me that I needed a complete new toilet!   I paid $250 to ASAP For the WRONG diagnostic.   BE AWARE!!!!

Excellent workmanship. Prompt and reasonable rates.  I would hire Robert back and recommend him highly.

Responded to inquiry for estimate of replacing ceiling fan in timely manner,  easy to work with in coordinating appointment, professional and efficient work. Safety precautions taken during pandemic time without being asked- wore mask in our home, kept distance when communicating with us. Appreciate he also wore shoe covers as respect for our floors. Quality work done. Will use them again for future work needs.

These guys were fantastic. Came in same day, on time and stayed until my issues were completely corrected.

A Leak showed up in the ceiling downstairs, we had no idea where it was coming from. Our insurance send another plumbing company who tried to make the issue bigger than it was to make a profit. They didn't even located the source of the leak.  The insurance company realized they were dishonest, denied their claim and called A1 construction instead. I was so happy with A1 construction. He was honest, professional, friendly and he knew what he was doing. He located the source of our leak and fixed the problem on the same day and in no time. Book A1 construction, you would not regret it.

I rarely post reviews but have to give a shoutout to Artie because he's the best! What I *thought* was going to be an easy sink swap that I could DIY,  turned into an issue when I realized I had two leaky shutoff valves. I called multiple plumbers, one gave an estimate of over $1500 that including tearing out the wall, another plumber asked me to send photos and then told me it was impossible to diagnose. Meanwhile, Artie responded to me quickly and recognized the issue as a common problem that just required replacing worn out washers. He resolved the issue in less than 30min, including running out to get new parts. I asked him to return to install my new sink as it was too heavy for me to do alone. The sink was wider than the original, so I knew aligning the drain my be tricky, but he patiently worked with me to figure out a functional and visually elegant solution. :) Not only are his prices super reasonable, but he's just a really good guy with no ego or attitude, which is so rare with a lot of vendors. He'll be my first call with any handyman needs in the future!

John and his family is wonderful to work with.  We recently bought a home and needed to find trusted electricians and we have definitely found them.  Here is what made Riviera Electric great:

1. Josh is always responsive and willing to answer any questions we have (which we have a lot of as new homeowners).
2. Everything is professional, from the estimation process to the actual work to the follow up.
3. They're always able to provide detailed explanation on what / why things are happening as well as guidance around next steps, even if it means less business for them.

It's clear from my interactions with Josh and Robert that they are not looking for the next job, but a long-term relationship with their customers, and for that, I couldn't be happier about finding them.

Martin did a great job. A GFCI outlet change is normally a quick job, but the previous electrician had left the wiring and the boxes in such a place that it was difficult to work with and get to. Martin showed up with a great attitude and had some tricks up his sleeve that comes from experience and it sorted out what I could not.

Moved into a home in Woodbridge-immaculately kept by its 80 year old builder-except for the original two prong outlets throughout the house! Saw FCE's yelp ads and gave them a call, they came and have me a fairly priced estimate ( about 630 for grounding and replacing 21 outlets). They arrived on time (and a day early!) and were friendly, helpful, and extremely professional.  And Constantine can really carry on a funny conversation! Would recommend them to anyone

First, he did not keep to the scheduled appointment time that was discussed and showed up at a different time without notification.  Following payment, the issue resurfaced and he went dark.  So basically he took his money without fixing the problem.  I had to find someone else.

Gary and his crew worked very hard and we are super satisfied with his professionalism and the work he completed at our home...

I reached out to a dozen of electricians (a lot of high Yelp ratings) to put in a 40 amp Wallbox EV charger in my garage. Some wanted to overcharge me and some did no call no shows. Roland from NYC Tesla Electricians gave me a quick response, arrived to my house ON TIME for the consultation, and completed the job in one day. He also didn't try to overcharge like other electricians. I am usually wary of hiring companies with no Yelp review but I am so lucky to find this company to finish my small project. Please give NYC Tesla Electrician a try and support them by giving them Yelp reviews so they get more future projects!

Luis has done a great job for us on multiple occasions. He installed a three-way switch for our basement lights, re-wired all our outlets to ground them, installed the plugs for our washer and dryer, amongst other things and has done a great job each time. We've had his work checked for inspection and passed. He always sends itemized cost estimates for each job I've asked him to do and doesn't try to nickle and dime you. He is a very straightforward guy and working with him has been a very pleasant & stress-free experience. I highly recommend him!
