CN Coterie Dinesh and Andy were exceptional. My residence had an issue where I would turn on multiple appliances each time, and the circuit breakers would trip. After gathering numerous estimates, I decided on CN Coterie. Dinesh came to my residence and provided me an estimate and several options to resolve this issue.  The estimate was reasonable in comparison to other companies. They even offered the service of painting and patching the areas where they needed access, alleviating my need to acquire a painter.
Furthermore, throughout the entire process, Dinesh and Andy provided me with a wealth of valuable education and incorporated my thoughts into this project.  The project consists of installing a subpanel on the home's second floor, rewiring the existing wires, and installing outlets dedicated to each appliance.   At t the conclusion of the project, everything was tested and worked adequately. Not only was the work professional and efficient my home was left neat and clean as though no project existed during the weeklong project. I had several projects for my home, namely a kitchen renovation next, and I will have CN Coterie, without a doubt, do this kitchen renovation project.  I would highly recommend anyone doing electrical work or a home renovation project to contact CN Coterie, namely Dinesh and Andy. You will be dealt with professionally and receive a reasonable estimate with options for your project.

I couldn't be happier with how beautiful and bright my house looks after Brian and his team spent the day installing, repairing, and replacing everything electric in my home. As a first-time homeowner, I wanted everything to be perfect. Brian and his team perfectly executed everything on the long list I gave them and went above and beyond: they found a few issues while working and took the initiative to fix what they found. Our new circuit breaker is powerful and pristinely organized, all of our light fixtures were installed just right, the new GFCI outlets and regular outlets are new and ready to go, and all the small electrical fixes in between have made our house perfect. Brian is so friendly and knowledgeable, and values his clients' time: he and his team were efficient and timely. I'm so, so happy with how everything turned out thanks to B-Tec!!

I'm usually very skeptical about technicians and mechanics, always feel like they're out to get you. But Roman is not one of them. My AC broke down in the middle of a heat wave. I called several HVAC services but nobody could come for atleast a week. Roman was not only able to accommodate my schedule, he actually came the same day I called - 7pm in the pouring rain. Opened up my AC unit and fixed the problem within 20 mins. Honestly, you just don't get service like this anymore. Thanks, Roman. My microwave range has been funky for a while, I'll be giving you a call soon.

I have had a longstanding electrical project which required a licensed electrician but also one that was willing to go the extra mile to avoid turning it into a larger project than I wanted.  It needed some smart troubleshooting.  Any time that my electrical panel needs to be worked on, I want to feel confident in my choice of electricians.  This particular project involved adding a new electrical line to the panel and other related work.  My family has used Tesla Electric in the past (both Father and Son) and they completed this project just as efficiently and carefully as past projects.  I like that they always listen and answer questions and kept me informed of each step throughout the two-day project. They stuck to their original quote and went way beyond the project scope when issues arose.  Highly recommend.

I have been using Dynamic Electrical Contractors for years. Both the owners are reliable, honest, hardworking - and always get the job done and on time. They were extremely patient and had a lot of great ideas. It has been a pleasure working with them and their crew.

Hired them to help us figure out our electrical issues in our brownstone. They were awesome.

Unreliable & inconsiderate to other people's time.  I would not recommend this company.

What happens when the wife panics and you have to get something fixed, I called the person who I used n the past, he was on vacation.  So I called Dave, he said he would be down to my house and he showed up on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, as well as fixing several other issues and came back to repair the issue on time at a reasonable price.  

When he returned to do the repair, he brought a young man with him who was so very polite and respectful I now have a new electrician.  They came, they were as neat as possible, tarps and they took their shoes off before the stepped in my house, that is respectful.  

So my recommendation is in short use them, trust them and you won't be sorry.

Great service with quality work. The owner is a super nice person and went above and beyond his way to help us with our new construction. Very reasonable price and will strongly recommend them to anyone. 2 thumbs up!!!!

I seldom bother posting a review on Yelp but I feel I must with Craig and his team. He just wrapped up installing ceiling fans and track lighting in my place and the work is amazing. I found Thour Wiring on Yelp and you guys were right! Craig really lives up to his reputation.

What I loved:

- Customer service: Craig really knows what it means to serve your customer! Right from the start, he was extremely pleasant over the phone (the most friendly amongst all the people I got quotes from, and I got about 8!) and in person, very articulate, clear and communicative, friendly and  patient. I went back and forth with him multiple times before starting work and he never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. He was extremely responsive both on email and on text through the whole process. At the end of the project, we found out that one of the ceiling fans I ordered did not work so I had to get a replacement sent that will arrive later. They uninstalled the fan and packed it nicely back in the box for me to be returned and Craig told me to just let him know when the new fan arrived and he or his workers will come by again to install it with no additional charge.

- Reasonably priced: Craig was the mid-range of all the quotes I got, but the low-range quotes seem suspiciously low. He came by to do a proper estimate (many others only gave quotes over the phone) and he kept to it.

- Professional: I had an awful experience with a lighting designer/electrician right before I found Craig. That guy was dishonest with me about the budget, and padded his invoice, never signed a contract, didn't provide insurance, etc. As a first time home buyer, I got burnt by him. Craig was, from the start, a refreshing difference. He submitted his estimate to me with a detailed line by line summary of the work that needed to be done and itemized it for me upon my request. We then negotiated the contract and both signed on it (note to all: always have a signed contract!! I didn't with the first electrician I worked with stupidly, and he went and padded his invoice with a whole bunch of stuff I didn't agree to) before the work was done. He sent my condo management a copy of the insurance promptly with no extra charge (not sure if it's common practice to charge for that or not, but I know my movers did).

-  Nice team: He had 2 other guys working with him and they were all incredibly friendly.

What I did not like:

- High deposit: I felt initially that the deposit he required was high (62%), but he was very nice when he explained to me why he needed the high deposit (he had to reserve the time, hire people, get materials, etc), and that he wouldn't jeopardize his good reputation on Yelp for this relatively small contract. In the end, it didn't even matter cos he turned out to be honest, accurate in his estimate, and earned every penny.  

- Not so great patching: Because we didn't have any power supply to our concrete ceilings, they had t punch holes in the walls to get power up there. Like what the other poster mentioned, the patching and spackling work wasn't done perfectly, especially around the edges of switches and wiring. BUT, I will say that most other electricians who gave me quotes told me that they do not even do any patching work, and that I had to get a handyman to do it separately. It would have been nice if the spackling was better, but compared to other electricians, the patching work was a value add in itself. I can get a handyman to do the touch up work, or do it myself.

- Mess: There was dust everywhere in the house and all over my bed even (yuck). Which is to be expected when the walls are being ripped out. But I felt like they should have used more covers for all my furniture. But I wasn't there during the construction and my husband & kids were, so I don't know if that wasn't done because they were using the furniture? Upon hindsight, I should have requested this after the first day when my entire bed was covered in dust. So just a feedback Craig & team to maybe use more of those awesome plastic covers on all the furniture cos the dust flies everywhere! Also, they left a bunch of empty boxes/trash from the job when I felt it'd have been nice to take the trash with them. But I wasn't there when they wrapped up the job, so I'm not sure if that was deliberate i.e. they thought I might want the original wrapping of stuff just in case. So really, this is a minor minor quibble in an otherwise awesome job.

Well done, Craig. You have restored my faith in contractors! You are a gem & I'll definitely recommend you to anyone!
