I HIGHLY recommend Alex and Alex Electrical Services - they are the best!  I have used them for three jobs at one of my rental properties, and I will call them again for any future electrical jobs as well!

When we first purchased this property, it needed quite a bit of electrical work, so we knew that we needed a good electrician to help us out.  We met Alex through Yelp and discussed our issues over the phone.  Alex (the son) was very friendly, patient, and understanding about our needs.  He is the primary person we worked with.  He takes the time to listen to us, and explain how everything works.  He is a great communicator and always either answers my calls or responds quickly if he can't pickup.

The first job I had was to install ceiling fans and a pendant.  Alex (the father) showed up and quickly was able to install 4 ceiling fans and 1 pendant for us.  He was able to come within a day or two notice, and completed the job in a few hours.  He is also very friendly and has great ideas!

The second job we did was to upgrade the electrical panel from 100A to 200A and separate the electrical for the two units of the duplex.  After securing the permits needed, Alex, Alex, and Vlad all came out and worked throughout the day to make sure everything went well.

The third job was to install electrical and lighting for the new 2nd unit kitchen, living room, and bedroom.  This is where the real magic came!  Again, the team came out and worked diligently to make sure everything was completed correctly the first time.

Alex and his team always show up on time and come prepared for the job.  They know what they are doing, and will do a great job for you too!

Needed an electrician for lighting work and was very happy with the work. Family owned business with quick service at a reasonable price. Very knowlegable and answered all my questions. If I need an electrician I will call Sean at Optimum Electrical again.

I needed someone to fix the socket on a very expensive modern chandelier that hangs in a double height 20 foot ceiling. Roman was amazing from my initial call. He requested some photos so he could give me a proper quote. His reply was within 15 minutes and the quote was very reasonable. He arrived as scheduled and knew exactly what he was doing. He is quick but very professional and thorough. My chandelier is now good as new and I have an electrician I can now call on for future jobs.

Definitely recommend Zenith Electric Inc if you want any lighting fixture installation. Reasonable budget, excellent service and friendly staff. Big shout out to Loris and his coworker.

Yes! Local electricians that are responsive, conscientious, really good at their job, and care about the work they do. So good to have an electrician I can rely on in Venice.

It looks like I'm the only person less than pleased with All In One Electric.

My long-time electrician recently retired and after reading the positive reviews for All In One Electric I phoned to schedule an appointment. Upon asking the price the young woman told me the service charge was $100 per hour with a 2-hour minimum. I responded, Yikes, that kind of expensive for such a small job. She responded that they were worth it and would be sending their finest journeyman electrician.

The electrician arrived at the appointed time and, surprise! I recognized him as a former employee of my local Whole Foods.

He replaced a starter for a fluorescent light, a switch for an overhead light, and looked to see if my doorbell could be replaced (it couldn't). All in all, he completed his work in approximately 45 minutes. I offered to pay him at that time and was told I would receive an invoice by email.

The very next day I received *4* calls from the same young woman, wanting to be paid. No invoice, no breakdown, only the amount of the bill: $358.65!

When I inquired about the large bill she then told me that the first hour was billed at $200, and thereafter it was $100 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum. I explained she had not told me that price originally and she said, Whoever you spoke to must have misquoted the price.

Obviously I would never have paid $300 in a service charge for such a small job and I'm greatly disappointed. I'll not be using All In One Electric again: fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.

We had our toilet replaced and Octavio was very professional and knowledgeable. Also they provided me with 5 years warranty.

UPDATE: After posting an honest review, Scott started sending me scary, aggressive texts to my personal number and calling me names. Please avoid this person and this company. Read the other one star reviews who complain about the same thing.

I found Penna Electric on Yelp.  Because of all the 5-star reviews, I decided to go with them.  They did not disappoint.  They were very professional and reasonably priced.  Todd always returned my calls and provided great recommendations.  I had recessed lighting installed throughout my home and they did an incredible job.  

I highly recommend them.

In the past, I've often found Yelp reviews to be very useful, but never felt compelled to write one of my own ... until now.

I've had two different lighting problems in my home for months. Two switches simply stopped working: the overhead lighting in the master bedroom, and a switch for a chandelier in the dining room. I contacted two different electricians that I found Yelp for help. One showed up, explained how difficult my problems were, and then promised to get back to me after the holidays because he was so busy. I never heard from him again.

The second electrician made an appointment with me, then promptly cancelled that appointment, also claiming to be too busy. It was hard to believe they'd be so busy when they treat potential customers so poorly. Who would put up with this?

At the end of my rope, I called Leland and B & K Electric, with zero expectations of any better treatment. Boy, was I wrong. Not only did Leland give me an appointment for the very next day, but he had me text him pictures of the switches to get a head start on the problem.

Minutes later, I got an call from Leland saying that, in fact, he was in the neighborhood and if I didn't want to wait until tomorrow, he would come right over and help me out!

In the span of 30 minutes, (about an hour after I first called), Leland showed up AND fixed BOTH my problems with ease and expertise. And, the service charge was beyond reasonable.

I have NEVER had a service experience regarding home repair that ended with a result as pleasant and completely satisfying as this one.

As I told Leland, B & K has a customer for life with me. If you need an electrician, I can't imagine you will find a more friendly, dependable, and expert company. I wish I could give him 6 stars.

Eduardo's Blueprint Electric installed our EV charger. The work was done well, quickly, and within the forecast budget. I was thoroughly impressed with Eduardo, who was responsive, courteous, and professional at every step of the process -- from the initial quote through to the final inspection. I wouldn't hesitate to return to him and Blueprint for any future electrical needs.

Celso arrived on time, was very professional, and installed my dimmers & light pendant to work perfectly. He also patched the drywall holes after the installation. Strongly recommend

I don't write a lot of reviews, but the service and workmanship from this place made me dig up my Yelp credentials after 9+ years to recognize them for amazing service and a fantastic job. They fixed my electrical issue (lazy wiring by my contractor...even I know to make a pigtail for downstream outlets) for not just the problem outlet, but Hector even checked other possible problem outlets and fixed those as well. This was not an easy task as our breaker panel was on the 1st floor and all the electrical issues were on the 2nd floor... in another building. He cheerfully trudged up and down the stairs to switch breakers on & off and then test outlets with no complaint. Even with my elderly father trying to give him advice (micro-manage) during the task.

He even checked other issues our tenant had in another building that I mentioned offhand as an issue he could come back and check later. He said that as long as he's here he might as well take a look, and he was able to fix that as well, (re-wiring a burnt out breaker switch).

Then when he gave me the bill I was shocked...at how low it was! I had to include a decent tip to make up for it as I felt I was robbing him, especially during Covid times. If you're in their service area and have electrical issues, give Hector a call. He arrived on time, masked up, extremely patient, and ready to listen to me and take care of the electrical problems I was facing.

Amazing- they could not have been nicer and did a great job on installing our outdoor outlet. We are keeping their card handy if we need any other electrical work done.

Oscar was very thorough and professional when he helped us with our electrical problems at our house. He installed new gfi outlets and resolved an issue with two of our rooms sharing the same breaker line.

I had a partial power outage in my living room and kitchen. Pat Rocco was able to find the root cause within minutes and helped secure the electric wiring so that it prevents any future issues. Additionally, Pat helped me brighten up the house by installing LED lights which is a total game changer. It completely changed the look and atmosphere of the living room and kitchen! These guys are great! My power came out on half of my house and I didn't know what to do or what to press or anything! This is my first home ever, just moved out of my parents and dont know anything about power outages. Then I called All Electric. They came by and made me feel at ease. They explained what exactly happened,and made stickers on my power surge highlighting what is what so now I know what is connected to my kitchen. They are honest, kind and fair. More than I could've ever wanted from my electrician. I would certainly call them again if I need any more help. Thank you! You rock!!!
