I evaluated and received a number of quotes from several electricians in the Austin area before deciding on Malco Electric, which Ended up being the best decision ever! Cody and his team were responsive, on time, worked efficiently and provided great pricing. Jimmie was also super responsive to my questions about their service and they were all honest and down to earth.

Initially, I was very nervous about who was going to install my very large, heavy, glass chandelier that I spent several thousand dollars on and took months before it was delivered. When the chandelier finally arrived in came in a million pieces and I was concerned who was going to be able to put it together. Cody and his team worked together and successfully assembled/installed the chandelier within 3 hours and it turned out beautifully! Amazing service and super helpful. I needed a rv hookup set up asp to house some family who had evacuated from Hurricane Harvey. I called around and Texas Electrical came out the same day and fixed my problem immediately. They charged me a 1/3 of the other quote I received and the service men were polite and on time. Very impressed and will call them again when I need help.

Victor did a great job on a callback. I realized Victor did the best he could with what he had to work with.

Victor completed my original installation in one day. My installation involved installing four outdoor security video cameras, two outdoor floodlights, and two outdoor lamps. I wanted a professional installation where there would be no outside wires and the two outdoor lamps and two outdoor flood lights would be controlled by indoor light switches. The two outdoor lamps would be installed directly to brick walls. One on each side of my garage door. I provided the four outdoor security video cameras, the two floodlights and the two lamps.

I was provided an estimate of 6 to 8 hours over the phone and the electrician would be assigned to my job for the entire day. The installation actually took 12 hours which ran late into the night past sunset.

Victor ran into problems running power to a camera and to a light switch inside my home that took allot of extra time to resolve. I have vaulted ceilings at my front door, front guest bedroom and master bedroom. Victor was not able to run power to where I requested two outdoor security video cameras installed due to this and 2 x 4 boards in my ceilings that blocked passing power cables from the attic to the security video cameras. Victor suggested good alternatives on the location of the four outdoor security video cameras where he could run power and I could view the same areas outside my home.

Victor also helped me while I was installing my video doorbell and installed two flag holders. I did not have a hammer drill and drilling through brick with just a regular drill took me 30 minutes per hole. A hammer drill does it in just seconds.

Victor showed me in my attic how he ran the power and where the security camera AC adapters were located and how I can get to them if needed.

I am the type of customer that is willing to get involved and help where I can. Holding a flashlight and looking for the power wire passing down through a hole while Victor is feeding the power line from my attic.

Victor is very personable, patient, and is not annoyed when things do not go as planned. Victor suggests good alternatives to get around setbacks. I highly recommend Grayzer Electric and Victor and am a repeat customer.

Wow--I used Yelp to find an electrician for some urgent work and got a very speedy response from Darin Maxwell, the owner of Max Electrical Services. While he was not available on the time frame we needed, he still helped us review the bid from the other electrician for peace of mind and was open to fielding questions, even on a job he isn't doing.

Stellar communication, stellar response, stellar customer service! We look forward to being able to hire them in the future.

Perfect!! He fixed the electric on our dishwasher very quickly, and he and my husband chatted for a while. Really nice guy. Highly recommended.

UPDATE: We needed a new water heater, and Home Depot quoted us an insane amount because they said we also needed some electrical work done. We contacted Thomas, not expecting to hear back until the next business day. He texted us *on his day off* and after looking at some pictures, told us we didn't need it. Saved us a bunch. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

James did some work for us in a condo we purchased that that was built in 1973.  He updated some wiring, put in electrical switches, installed several  GFI etc.

He also installed two chandeliers, one being high up in a two story hallway.  He showed up on time, kept a clean work environment, and left the job site in perfect condition.

His price was also very reasonable. I have refereed him and will continue to do so.

Went back to Dustin after his excellent work. This time I needed an outdoor light installed, as well as a couple of switches and a new outlet. All the work was perfect and he even came back by to check on things for me after the work was done a few days later. Highly recommended!

It can be hard to find great help in a new city, but Darion and the crew were prompt, professional, and on time. Communication online was seamless. Absolutely will use Brightside again.

Scott removed 2 existing light fixtures in my kitchen and installed 2 chandeliers in their place. What a great guy!!  He is knowledgeable, very quick, has upfront pricing, and does excellent work!  We also discussed more extensive work that he will be doing for me in the future. Needed an outdoor GFCI installed and LGE did a great job at a reasonable price. Definitely will give Raymond a shout next time I need electrical work.

For anyone needing a master electrician, I absolutely recommend Todd S. of Tomei Electric (512 893 9715). He diagnosed and fixed the problem with my fluorescent fixture in under 15 minutes, explained what he had done, and answered a few questions for my future reference.  Additionally, it's well worth noting he was right on time, and is hands down the politest electrician (or skilled contractor) I ever met.

Super responsive and did everything right!  Arrived on time and hung our two Jew light fixtures beautifully.  One was a large chandelier that needed scaffolding to hang.  I highly recommend L&R.

Luis and Alejandro are great electricians. These are the kind of people you can trust to give you the correct information for any electrical project. I have had them do multiple projects for me. I went to Twin Oaks Electric for a second opinion and found a business I'll keep using for as long as I stay in Austin. Max was responsive and easy to work. Plus, the team he sent out, Dylan and Austin, arrived on time, did great work and even talked me down from extras that, in retrospect, were just an upsell from another company. Honest, local folks--Highly recommend.

A fluorescent fixture in my store stopped working, so I foolishly started to replace it myself. After leaving myself in the dark, I called HF Electric the next morning.
Homer said he would try to work me in to the day, and much to my happiness he and to helpers showed up and fixed my light and some other lights in under an hour.
I can't stress how reasonable the pricing was and what a pleasure to have my day saved.

I used Salt Light and Electric today for a plug that wasn't working. I had a four hour window for my service time(8am-12pm). They were here a little before 9:00am. The electrician, Tom I believe was his name, was very friendly, courteous and professional. He performed a diagnostic test on the house and made repairs to the wall outlet and was on his way. This is the way people should do their jobs!! On time, with a smile on his face and quickly! No dilly dallying around. He even told me to have a blessed day when he was leaving! This company does it the old fashioned way....the right way! I will definitely use Salt Light and Electric for my electrical needs moving forward.
