Best A/C Repair in Indianapolis IN

I decided to give them a try based on Yelp reviews. Chris came out and installed 4 outlets in my basement. He is a very pleasant guy and knows his stuff. The job was done neatly, timely, and the price was reasonable. David electric is my go to for all future electric work.

We had some issues which caused us to lose power completely in one room and partially lose power in another room and a bathroom. Scheduling was easy over the phone. Paul called me 15 minutes prior to his arrival and he arrived on time. He was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. He went through each of the three rooms to diagnose the issue, found it, and fixed it. I would recommend using 21 Electric.

We had ordered appliances from Home Depot, but getting them to install them in any kind of reasonable time line was impossible. Five days before Christmas, there we are with a new double oven and vent hood, with no clear way to get them installed. I called IWE, and Tim got back to me within two days, coming out to review the work we needed and give us an estimate. Tim did a fantastic job on these difficult installations the very next day. With a winter storm approaching that afternoon, he removed the old oven and installed the new one, and did the same with the vent hood. Those ovens are incredibly heavy, and my wife and I were glad we didn't try this on our own. Tim was courteous, on-time, did great work, and charged a reasonable price (I think he and a colleague spent about 3.5 hours on the job and charged $400). I KNOW we are going to be calling Tim again for future electrical work; you should consider doing the same!

I have used Mr. Electric of Central Indiana a couple of times. They are very friendly, responsive to your needs, on time and get the job done. In my opinion, their pricing is very reasonable.

I called Joe Schmo for an electrical problem in my kitchen. Erich was a friendly and helpful technician. He found the problem, gave an estimate, and worked efficiently. He took the time to explain things to me. I had some other issues that he attended to while he was there and wrote an estimate for one that he didn't have time for on this particular call. I had been given Joe Schmo as a recommendation, and I too, would recommend them. Great service. Fair price. Friendly technician.

These gentlemen were wonderful! They came out on a Thursday evening to give us a quote, and we're back Saturday afternoon to do the job of installing an additional outlet in the garage. They were very thorough on the planning, and the checked a couple times to make sure they were doing what we wanted. They were very well priced, courteous, quick with their work, and cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely use them again for future electrical projects.

Just moved to Indianapolis. Looked for an electrician near to me. Noah was quick to respond and more than fair. Our texting communication was very fluid, and he worked me in within a day! The electrician arrived on time and very professional. When the issue was discovered to be my dryer and not the outlet, he even gave me some helpful suggestions for that (as a bonus!). I reiterate that Noah treated me very fairly for the charge of the service call. Good man and a good company. I'll remember them next time!

Chris/Artisan is a highly qualified professional and is a genuinely nice guy!  I had him install light fixtures and complete some electrical work for a commercial building and am happy with the completed job. We will absolutely call again when we need electrical work done.

We had a great experience with D Davis Electric. Douglas got ahold of us promptly and was available to do our work right away. He was prompt and gave us great information about our problem. His rates were reasonable. We would definitely use him again.

Don't trust these idiots to screw a lightbulb in straight. They are the worst "So called" electricians we have ever employed. Their work was subpar that did not pass code. We had to write them a
punch list to pass inspection that they refused to perform. We had to fix their their garbage work ourselves just to pass inspection.  They inflicted unbelievable amounts of plaster damage to the walls & ceilings in their joke attempt to rewire a simple home. Over 60 holes had to be patched because of their ignorant negligence.   They claim to be a Christian business but in reality they are liars & thieves. If Jesus was here today he would lash them all from their place of arrogance with the branches of humility to their nest of disgrace where they truly belong. Don't trust these Charlatan gypsies.

Kit is so reliable and affordable. We've been using his services for several years in Anderson and Muncie. He has helped us manage some major repairs such as plumbing issues, electrical, painting,  drywall..you name it he can fix it. He has been a huge blessing and life savor for us being that we are out of state landlords. You really need good honest people like him in this business.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with Godby. My experience was so bad that I believe the company is either completely mismanaged or is willfully ripping off customers. Savvy consumers should BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

On August 3rd, 2013 I contacted Godby Heating, Plumbing, Electrical to repair my AC because it was blowing warm air. The technician arrived and quickly told me that I needed to replace the thermostat. That didn't solve the problem, so Godby sent the tech back to our house. The technician arrived and after some time outside claimed to have fixed it. He presented us with the information about the repair and a bill for $500 AFTER he performed the work. He explained that it needed more coolant and so he refilled 3 lbs of coolant. I specifically asked if there was a leak since 3 lbs is a huge amount. He said it was now working fine and we should be good. I was skeptical, but the unit was indeed blowing cold air so I paid the bill. A day later, AC was again blowing warm air. I called and spoke to the manager Kevin. He admitted that there must be a leak and the technician should have performed a full leak check before installing coolant. Godby sent another technician who easily confirmed the coil leak. This repairman stated that the first technician should have performed a full leak test before filling any coolant and apologized for the mistake. The manager, later called to tell me they will install a new coil for an additional $1,852 that will solve the problem. This new cost includes a leak repair and refilling with 3 more lbs of coolant. I complained that Godby should apply the wasted original coolant cost (~$500) to this new total. Godby should have performed a leak test before refilling with coolant and even then should have presented me with options before actually performing the work. As I pressed for a reasonable deal given my previously incurred and wasted coolant expense, Kevin became rude and unreasonable in his interactions with me. I declined further work with Godby and called a competitor that quoted and performed the new work at a regular cost of $1,290.  (This, of course, includes the coil leak repair plus the cost to refill coolant again.)

To make matters worse, Godby re-billed me for the unnecessary work performed on August 4th even thought I paid this total in August and have the receipt and bank withdrawal proof.

Every company makes mistakes, but how these mistakes are handled is what defines a company. Godby does not care about their customers. Godby represents POOR QUALITY, POOR SERVICE, HIGH COSTS, and DOUBLE BILLING.

Save yourself money and a headache -- AVOID GODBY!!

Terrible service. Did not complete the service he was paid to do that was supposed to be warrantied yet he would not come out and repair the defective work. He did and said the warranty was no longer active. It hadn't even been 30 days. Our breaker blows immediately and he's telling us that it's nothing he can do about it. He did not do the job he was paid to do and it was FHA required.

Gerald (Gary) and Adam came out to remedy an issue I had after having some rewiring (I am going to call it that because I do not know what it is actually called) done a few months earlier by BE.  They were kind and courteous - and remedied my issue!  I would highly, highly recommend them.

Burtner Electric has been my go-to company for our electrical needs since 2004.  Unfortunately, that is no longer true.  I recently had them in for two minor changes, which turned into major efforts. Instead of an hour long job costing a couple hundred dollars, their electrician spent 4.5 hours at my home and left me with drywall damage so excessive I am horrified.  I spoke with the owner about the issue, and she seemed apologetic and assured me they would come up with a "fair" bill.  However, I received a bill for over $700 and the threat of collection if I didn't pay.  Burtner indicated that I had agreed to the drywall damage.  Who would do that?  Wow.  Never again will I use Burtner, and you shouldn't either.

The company did a duct cleaning for me. Prompt next day service. Price was a on the higher end, but cleaned my ducts out thoroughly.
