Background: I had three plumbers give me estimates for the work - Hansen Family being the last. The first two plumbers, unsure of what cartridge was used in my system, were convinced it was a valve issue. I received multi-thousand dollar quotes for a valve replacement leaving me with drywall that had to be repaired at an additional expense. They assured me it wasn't a cartridge issue. Mark, from Hansen, came in and said, That's a Price Pfister. It takes cartridge #xxxx. He also said, after I showed him the issue, It's definitely the cartridge - I wouldn't charge you for something you don't need. He gave me a quote, which included the installation, that I was shocked over (way less than the other quotes). Mark ran, got the part, installed the new cartridge, and was on his way.
Mark/Hansen could have easily gone the valve quote route - I told them what the other plumbers had said. He/they didn't. They were honest. They did a great job. How incredibly refreshing it is to find honest people that do great work.
Thanks, Hansen. I'll keep you on speed dial. You have a great team and you should be proud of the work / service you provide. Your high-star rating is well deserved.

We have been using Hobaica's services for about a year after our former heating and cooling service company went out of business. Hobaica was recommended to us by the manufacturer of our heat pump for continued service. We got fantastic service a year ago and again recently when our heat pump needed a repair. Our service expert, Chase Cottam, was amazing! He was professional, knowledgeable, articulate and customer service oriented. We are very happy with his work performance and he is deserving of any employee reward or incentive offered by Hobaica. In fact, we have been so pleased with Hobaica and Service Expert Chase that we have decided to enroll in a maintenance plan with Hobaica and we look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Rang up this lovely company while troubleshooting a vile issue with my bathroom air vent. Although they do not address bugs (Yes. I said bugs.) in air ducts they cheerfully provided a reference for a company that does.
I very much appreciated how carefully they listened to my concerns. (I have many. The horror. You have no idea.) In addition to the reference the wonderful woman provided some interim tips. Given how polite, thoughtful and helpful they were for something outside their domain I would 100% ring again.
Hopefully my a/c won't crap out in the heat. BUT if it does I know who to call!

When we started up the A/C units this spring, one of them sounded like it was grinding pretty bad. We called Dukes of Air and Tarr came out today to service both of the inside and outside units. He indicated both units checked out fine and (of course) the loud unit wouldn't produce it's noise when he was here (Murphy's Law) :).
Tarr was prompt, very thorough with his inspection, very professional and helpful with care guidance of the unit(s) and cleaned up the units nicely.
I would recommend Dukes of Air to anyone for routine maintenance or service of their Heating & A/C Unit(s).

We have used Pro-Skill plumbing over the years. Abby and Tyler are neighbors of ours and have always been helpful on the neighborhood Facebook page helping out neighbors and what not. We had to have our kitchen faucet changed out the other day and our technician Israel was very friendly. He offered to put the booties showing respect for our home. He was on time and did a nice job installing our faucet and cleaning up after himself. The job took about 2 hours and they charged about $125.00 which I thought was pretty fair. I would definitely recommend Proskill. We had also had them install a GE water softener that we had already purchased from Home Depot in our rental property. The technician Matt that did the install was trying to sell us their water softener and was a little pushy and I had to tell him no three or four times. We had already purchased and had the GE water softener delivered from Home Depot and didn't want to return it. The GE unit was also an all-in-one unit which saves a little space over the softerner with the separate brine tank. Matt did a good job of promoting his product, describing its features, and was very professional though. The funny thing was though the GE softener ended up being damaged and I probably would have been better off going with his unit. After it was installed I ended up having to call a GE service technician to come out and do a repair on the softener.

Had my hot water heater maintenance done by XCompany which caused a leak on the pressure valve. I was told it would have to be replaced at a cost of 1,800.00 - I got a few more quotes until the price went down to a couple around 1K, including Safe Dry Out.
Safe Dry Out is the only one who bothered to ask what was wrong with the water heater and suggested it could be fixed instead. I went from having to fork out 1,800.00 to only spending 150.00
Mike could have easily gone with the rest and said the only solution was to replace it. This to me shows integrity and honesty. The quality of work was excellent and, to top it off, he was extremely patient with my 80 year old father hanging around. Thank you Mike!
Will definitely call Safe Dry Out for any future plumbing needs.

I can't begin to say how grateful I am to have Hansen Family Plumbing as our go to plumbing service! We dont have many issues but when we need something installed, fixed or repaired, Erik and his team have ALWAYS been OUTSTANDING! Today we had the pleasure to meet Zack! Zack and his working partner went above and beyond. I wasn't home but he communicated very well with me. I trust not only Zack, but any of Erik's team members to be in my home when i cant be there.
When it comes to supporting the local businesses, this is one service i am 100% proud to say i use when needed.
Thank you to Hansen Family Plumbing for always taking good care of our plumbing needs.
(Is there a way to sneak in an extra star to give you a 6 Star Rating?). I would if i could!

Sam responded extremely quickly and stayed responsive until we had an appointment scheduled for the very next day. He came out and brought his son as well as a teaching opportunity. He fixed the issue within minutes and cost was under the estimate which he didn't have to do. He lives in the community and left his card. Great experience and would recommend to anyone. Will certainly be using for all future plumbing needs. Thank you Sam!

I have a fairly new home, built less than 2 years ago, and my tankless water heater went out a few weeks ago. The company charged me for a part I didn't need that was still under warranty. It took two weeks for them to finally fix it and all it needed was an electronic master reset.
I reached out to ask about why they charged me for a part I didn't need and they said due to all the time they spent here and on the phone with tech support.
Here's the issue I hope you correct going forward so it doesn't impact future customers:
1) Your technician didn't spend more than 5 minutes here the first time. He didn't troubleshoot anything. I told him the code and what I looked up online that led me to calling you. He said yup that's it. Then he left.
2) Had he troubleshot the issue it could've been resolved that day and we wouldn't have been without hot water for two weeks. Also, this would've prevented the ordering of a part that was unnecessary.
3) The second technician said he's not a plumber, rather he's an HVAC guy. I think having the properly trained technician would have sped up the job, reducing time wasted on troubleshooting a master reset.
I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I am thankful the last technician that came out was honest and was able to resolve it and get the water heater working.

I am a repeat customer with Yavapai Plumbing & Heating. I had one of their techs come out for a washer/dryer problem and to put faucet handles on sink in laundry room. I had to purchase the faucet from another company. The charge was outrageous and I complained about it. They agreed and a credit was given. That was the second or third time I had used them. The next time I needed my heating thermostat replaced. They came out, did the job - no problems. I called them to get a price on a reverse osmosis system under my kitchen sink. Not only would they not give me one over the phone, but they wanted to charge me $49 to send someone out to give me the estimate. I have lived up here for 3 years and they are the only plumbing & heating service I have used. That is about to change.

Came to my house to clear a kitchen line clog. First visit: didn't try snaking it, straight up told me they needed to to hydrojet the line and that would clear it, guaranteed. Second visit: hydrojet failed, claimed I had a hardener blockage - yet even charged me $1000 even after guaranteeing it would work. After that, I, a homeowner with little plumbing experience, rented a snake and unclogged it myself. Goettl has not yet refunded my money and am beyond irritated that they claim do things the right way. Avoid these folks, if you can.
(Update - 9/27/2021)
A Michael A. from Goettl responded to the above review asking me to contact them for clarification on my issue. I did - or at least I tried. Over and over and over again. Yet I heard nothing back. Phone calls and emails galore, giving them ample opportunities and time to correct their mistakes, yet I heard nothing. This company does not deserve your business, folks. They parade around like they care and that they're the good guys' of the local plumbing scene, but they are seemingly out to clean out your wallets, not your pipes. ZERO stars for them (and their creepy, nightmare inducing logo).

Well, it started well, but ended beyond unacceptable. I booked an appt online for an estimate to service my reverse osmosis system.
The website clearly indicates that that the estimates are free, which is industry standard, unless its for an HVAC visit.
The process was easy and I booked for a 12-4pm timeframe the same day. At around 1pm, Austin arrives at my front door. This is how it started.( I should have asked him to leave, but I was being patient). Austin enters and we confirmed my request for an estimate which he acknowledged. I asked him how his day going. His response? I just fix what other people break. Really? That's how you talk to a customer?
He continued to perform his estimate and explains the issue is the membrane. Now, keep in mind the membrane is a $30 part with 3 quick connects. Takes about 10 minutes to change. He then quotes me $187 to change it!
I told him that I asked for an estimate on a complete service but based upon that ludicrous quote, we wont be doing business. He then informs me that there is an $84 service fee!!
I kindly reminded him of the websites statement concerning estimates. He stepped out to make a call, then promptly decided to depart.
I then found and called Pentair, formerly Aquascience. There charge for a complete system service including the membrane?
$89 for the service, $34 for the membrane!!
Buyer beware when dealing with Austin & Parker and Sons!
Oh, a funny side note: I went to our local Frys an hour or so later and lo and behold whom do I see alseep in his company truck? Yup..Austin!!

They came to our house twice this year. Both times we called, there the same day. Fixed problem same day. James was super easy to talk to and really explained everything in detail. Definitely calling back if we ever need service or a new unit.

Chaz Roberts is the contractor that was utilized for my new build and boy you get what you paid for! I called for an emergency repair for my AC unit and was told that the first emergency repair appointment was in ten days!!! Are you kidding me?? Ten days without AC when the temperature is starting to be at triple digits. It's the 8th of May and they can't have anyone come out until the18th of May!! Ridiculous!! I went with Parker and Sons and just like their commercials they had a repair man out to my home in 20 minutes!! I'll use Parker and Sons for my future needs and remember, there won't be any Melvins on the job!!
