Ideal Energy has excellent customer service.  I had my air ducts and insulation replaced and that went great. Everyone I worked with was great. The overall cost was pretty pricey but did fall in line with the other estimates I'd received. The only issue I had was after the air ducts and insulation had been replaced, by whole house smelled like gingerbread.  They came out to check it out and said everything was fine. I'm not sure where the smell was coming from but I do know it wasn't there before the ducts had been replaced.  It's since disappeared though so that's good.   Every so often, when the air kicks on, I'll hear crinkling noises coming from the vents but I think that just the new duct work moving.   I don't know how well I'll do on my electric bills as it's not peak time yet but time will tell if this was a good investment.

Awful, No one showed up or called.  I would find someone else.  I finally got my$ back from maintenance which is worthless.  You still pay even with it.

Returned service request call quickly.  Billy showed up on time and ready to work (important to note since some contractors don't).
Very quickly fixed all the little fixes we had originally called about with time to spare so asked him to look at an electrical issue and found and fixed the problem for us.
Could not recommend more.

Made appointment for gutter installation. Joe said he was a month out for scheduling. I setup date for my job. Joe was MIA. No response to calls and texts.

This is one of the worst ac companies I've had to deal with. I live in a newly built apartment with an ac unit from Chas Roberts that is less than a year old and already having issues. I came home on Tues early afternoon to find my home at 82 degrees when the thermostat was set at 75 degrees. I called maintenance who then called Chas Roberts. We were provided a generic time frame of 7 pm- midnight when a tech will be out but a tech showed up within an hour without notice. The tech was here for over an hour and had to order a motor but thought he got the unit running in the meantime. Less than two hours after the tech left the temp in the house kept climbing up and again I called maintenance once it got to 83 degrees. Chas Roberts was notified again and I was brought a portable unit that is loud and only cools part of the home because I was told the motor part that was ordered would not be in until Thurs. It is now Thurs after 2 pm and I have not been contacted nor has anyone showed to fix the unit. I contacted maintenance again who in turn contacted Chas Roberts only to find out that they won't be out until tomorrow/Fri. I am not happy with Chas Roberts because 1. this is a brand new unit that should not be having issues like this, 2. I was lied to about when the part was going to be in and 3. I had not received a call/update from anyone. Unfortunately I am stuck with this company because it is the one my apartment complex uses but I would not refer anyone nor would I use them if I had the choice.
