Best Plumbing Services in Phoenix AZ

After reading the positive Yelp reviews I decided to give this company a try. Maybe I got the one bad technician or he was having a bad day. After rearranging my afternoon to be able to meet Fred, it ended up being a waste of time since he obviously didn't want to be there and couldn't wait to leave. My daughters house is two stories. Fred doesn't climb ladders so that was the end of his visit. He said they haven't been doing AC systems very long so only would do single story homes. Shouldn't the salesperson I talked to on the phone have vetted the situation before setting up the appointment? Any way we ended up finding a Howard Air a fantastic smaller company with employees who care and provide excellent service.

My AC went out at midnight on Tuesday. Wednesday morning I got a referral from a friend who advised me to call Hays. They were called at 9 a.m. in the morning and at 4 p.m. that same day, a tech arrived. The tech name is Karl he was very courteous, prompt, informative and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them. Several other companies were called and they stated they could not arrive until Friday mid-morning. Thank you to the management at Hays for running an efficient company.

This business does not want to communicate via Yelp. It wasn't a good fit I guess? Contacted this business for an HVAC service quote at my remodel. In the screenshot you can see I replied with the requested information and a wide open schedule.

We have used Pro-Skill plumbing over the years.  Abby and Tyler are neighbors of ours and have always been helpful on the neighborhood Facebook page helping out neighbors and what not.  We had to have our kitchen faucet changed out the other day and our technician Israel was very friendly.  He offered to put the booties showing respect for our home.  He was on time and did a nice job installing our faucet and cleaning up after himself.  The job took about 2 hours and they charged about $125.00 which I thought was pretty fair.   I would definitely recommend Proskill.  We had also had them  install a GE water softener that we had already purchased from Home Depot in our rental property.  The technician Matt that did the install was trying to sell us their water softener and was a little pushy and I had to tell him no three or four times.  We had already purchased and had the GE water softener delivered from Home Depot and didn't want to return it.  The GE unit was also an all-in-one unit which saves a little space over the softerner with the separate brine tank.  Matt did a good job of promoting his product, describing its features, and was very professional though.  The funny thing was though the GE softener ended up being damaged and I probably would have been better off going with his unit.  After it was installed I ended up having to call a GE service technician to come out and do a repair on the softener.

Update: 5/23/21: Just a follow up note to reiterate how great these guys are. In edition to being efficient and knowing a ton, Robert will also crack you up. Great company!

Carlos and his partner came out on short notice after when we turned our unit on for the first time this season, only to find no cooling.  The techs were friendly, efficient, and best of all successful! We have cool air.

I've always had good experiences with the people at Hobaica.  Binh, who came out for a routine check-up, offered some good advice on what kind of filter to use -- turns out mine was too restrictive all along.

Called Day & Night on a Saturday for less than cold air conditioning and had an appointment scheduled the same day - no surcharges for it being the weekend or last minute service call.  Kasey came out and quickly diagnosed the problem (low coolant) and fixed the issue.  Even gave me some advice about the future of my AC unit.  I thought it was reasonably priced, but after a Google search found the price of my coolant was quoted all over the place and oftentimes much lower.  This is noted in another review from 6/2015: I have an AC that needs R22 freon and that comes at the hefty price of $213 for the first pound and $135 for any pounds needed after that. According to sources online this freon is priced at around $100 per pound.  That being said, there weren't any labor charges on my bill so I'm assuming that cost was absorbed into the high price per pound of coolant.  Also, I called two other places and one said they weren't available until 6/24 and the other said they did not do diagnostic prices, their prices were hourly ($250).  All in all, I'd use them again (but hopefully won't have to!).

My wife and I just moved to Tempe. There were a few plumbing issues; to say the least. I was refereed to King by my agent. Terry was very pleasant on the phone. He was also able to accommodate me by sending a plumber the next day. The plumber was Randy. He was AWESOME. Very personal and informative. He did not talk down to me or treat me like I was an idiot for not knowing how to fix the problems. It was like he was helping a buddy and not some guy that just called. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Unless we move away we will never use any other plumbing service.

Both of our AC units were on their last leg, house is about 20yrs old. I got quotes from 5 different companies, many of which were much larger, lots of the larger ones sent out dedicated sales people which was kind of a red flag for me that they need to charge higher prices for all of their extra employees. I'm really glad that I found DeModica Air, Jon Jon came out the day after I called him, explained all of my options, including patching my existing units which he said he could get them to last probably another 3 years. But he recommended replacement and we are glad we went with his recommendation. He had both units replaced, along with the air handlers in just 2 days. I highly recommend giving them a shot, at least invite them to give you a quote.

Hansen Family Plumbing has been our go-to for our plumbing needs for many years. From major underground pipe repair thanks to tree roots, to your more basic faucet issues, I've called them for various needs and have always received excellent customer service and prompt appointments. I always highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

We ended up calling Parker & Son's after Chas Robert's (who installed our unit) gave us the worst service ever when our AC went out tonight. I am so glad we called!! The BEST customer service experience we've had in a VERY long time!! From the moment we called, to our tech, Derrelton coming out, it's been so awesome! This company has low stars on Yelp reviews, but dont let that sway you! People rate a bad experience more times than a good one. I know because I work for a major credit card company! I am thankful I am able to post a GREAT one! We are now and forever will be part of the Parker family!! I couldn't have asked for better tonight! We were concerned we were going to have to pack up our family of 4 plus our large dog and find somewhere to sleep, but Darrelton was able to get us all fixed up and in a short amount of time! Super personable and friendly. The customer is obviously important to this company and that is more than refreshing in this day and age where the lack of customer service seems to be the motto with most other companies! You have my vote Parker & Son's!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Precision Air came by to do a tune up on my very old air conditioning unit.  Austin Allen showed up right when he said he would, which was a plus.  Nothing like waiting around all day for services!  Austin was knowledgeable and helpful in recommending next steps.  I appreciate the services that were offered and will be calling Precision Air if/when any future air conditioning problems come about.

I have a fairly new home, built less than 2 years ago, and my tankless water heater went out a few weeks ago. The company charged me for a part I didn't need that was still under warranty. It took two weeks for them to finally fix it and all it needed was an electronic master reset.

I reached out to ask about why they charged me for a part I didn't need and they said due to all the time they spent here and on the phone with tech support.

Here's the issue I hope you correct going forward so it doesn't impact future customers:

1) Your technician didn't spend more than 5 minutes here the first time. He didn't troubleshoot anything. I told him the code and what I looked up online that led me to calling you. He said yup that's it. Then he left.

2) Had he troubleshot the issue it could've been resolved that day and we wouldn't have been without hot water for two weeks. Also, this would've prevented the ordering of a part that was unnecessary.

3) The second technician said he's not a plumber, rather he's an HVAC guy. I think having the properly trained technician would have sped up the job, reducing time wasted on troubleshooting a master reset.

I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because  I am thankful the last technician that came out was honest and was able to resolve it and get the water heater working.

This company saved the day! My a/c was not blowing cold air and this happened mid day, I messaged a few businesses on yelp and Andrew was the first one to get back to me. They were able to come out later that night and check out what was going. They do charge a service fee but it does get applied to the overall bill which is nice as well. They were able to fix the problem with a recharge of my system and we now have cold air. I will definitely be using this company for any problems I have in the future with my HVAC. I highly recommend!

We've used Goettl for several AC repairs and one extremely large sewer replacement for our entire home. Unfortunately we were so disappointed in the service associated with the sewer work that we will not be using Goettl again. We knew when we bought our home that we would eventually be facing a sewer replacement because the plumbing in our 1950s home was original, so when we were experiencing a small leak at the base of one of our toilets, we were not surprised to receive the recommendation to replace the sewer lines. The cost to jack hammer both bathrooms, run new sewer lines, and backfill and pour concrete was nearly $50K. I had expected a decent amount of project management and follow through to ensure such a sizable project was completed appropriately, and unfortunately, it's not at all what we experienced. The crew basically got us to about 80% complete and then completely dropped us. We had to call and harass the lead individual on the project multiple times in order to get the last bits of work done so that we could return to living in our house. Even at that point our main shower was left with a pipe sticking up into the air, no drain, and completely not functional when the project was complete. At that point things had been so rough that we opted NOT to ask Goettl to correct their error and hired a different plumber to remove the tile from the shower floor, repair the damaged shower pan, replace the shower drain, and retile the shower floor. We sent a nearly three page email complaint in March 2022 detailing our concerns with the entire project, and asked for compensation specifically for the the damage to the shower that very clearly was not within the scope of the project. I asked for the correspondence to be in writing. The only reply I received was a phone call wanting to connect me with the manager of the project to discuss, basically the last individual I wanted to speak with. I followed-up again in writing reiterating my request and got no reply. I also posted this exact review on google two months ago and received zero reply.  My message is be careful if using this company for a large project. You will need to carefully watch their every step and be ready to advocate for yourself in order to get the work done right

I've used Chas Roberts for many years. I was so disappointed when I called to cancel a service call as our A/C had just blown a breaker and was working fine after turning it back on. The representative on the phone had a major attitude problem. She actually tried to convince me they should still come out between 7-midnight btw. She said and I quote Air conditioners just don't fix themselves I was really taken aback by that comment. We pay to be on their twice year maintenance plan. Problem there is every single time they spend more time trying to upgrade your service plan then actually working on your system. I just find that to be a poor business practice. If I say I'm not interested it should stop there.
