Best Water Pipe Installation in Durham NC

Had Dylan, with Mo Flo Plumbing, install a new full bathroom in my basement, which included jack hammering some of the concrete slab in order to lay new plumbing lines for the toilet and tub.  Everything was done per code and City inspector even came out and approved his work.  This was a major job that spanned several weeks, due to multiple inspections at different stages, and every time Dylan was on time and aways professional with the inspectors.  We were also very pleased with his work and the wife is happy, which is all that matters in the end, lol.  His prices also seem to be fair and reasonable.  Not expensive but not dirt cheap.  My impression of Dylan is that he is sincerely a very nice guy and always strives to please the customer.  We will always call him back for future needs!

I requested an estimate through yelp to replace a water valve. Ethan was very responsive, arrived on time, made the repair and fixed a few other things that he found to need replacement. I needed a new kitchen faucet and he even went to Lowes, picked up the part and replaced that. I'm very pleased with the service and knowledge and highly recommend!

We recently bought a house in Raleigh/Durham which unfortunately did not have a natural gas outlet to connect a grill. Having no desire to run back and forth to a store for propane gas refills, I contacted Jayk's to see if they could run a natural gas line to the patio (Note: not all plumbers work with natural gas). The first question the owner asked of me was whether or not we had a gas stove and/or a gas furnace, because if there was no gas coming into the house then they couldn't run my gas line - Duh. We do have gas running to the house, so indeed they could install my gas line.
Two very pleasant young men came to the house - exactly on time - and after first checking out the crawl space, told me yes they could install the line and how much it would cost. I told them exactly where I wanted the gas outlet installed, and they got to work.
After a few hours they had successfully installed the line and explained to me how to use it. They made sure to tell me what size fixture they installed, because apparently the original gas line under the house was an unusual size and they knew I would need that information when buying a gas hose for the grill.
Before leaving they put a protective extension (the black thing seen in the picture) on the outlet to prevent any accidental damage. It gets removed when we hook up the grill.
These two guys were superb, and should we ever need plumbing work in the future, Jayk's will get the phone call.
If you do happen to use Jayk's perhaps you'll be lucky enough to get Nick & Louis, the two gentlemen who did our installation!

I had a really good experience with Nick from here today! Service was fast, friendly and informative. I had been experiencing a very high water bill and hoped that it was just my running toilet and not some bigger issue. Nick took the time to listen, explain how much waterloss I was probably experiencing and even showed me where my water meter was and how to track leaks by looking at the numbers! Above and beyond there!

Honestly, (to the business model) it was a bit more expensive than I had hoped, and I was kinda put-off by the repeated idea of getting a membership to receive discounts later on (kind of an insurance plan to use this company), but I am happy with the results and understand why they are trying to sell their plans.

I will add that Nick was a very non-pressure guy when it came to the proscribed options and was very direct with what would work best for me. They are very lucky to have such an excellent employee.

Another company had a total fail and BCP came to my rescue. My toilet water valve had somehow broken and within a half hour it was totally fixed with new parts. The tech also installed a bidet for me for free. Price was very reasonable. Great experience. Would recommend.

I called Blantons to come and look at my tankless hot water heater that wasn't giving out hot water. When I called, they told me there would be a $116 service charge and then possible charge if something needed to be fixed. Of course, I understand that.
The technician comes out to my house, takes a look at water heater, breaks a lever on the box next to water heater. Connects a loose wire. Technician was there less than 40 minutes. Then he comes around with his invoice and he charges me $360 for diagnostics. Never told me prior to doing anything that it would cost this much. My total was $417, for less than 40 minutes of work. He also put in the invoice that he diagnosed the problem for 45 minutes and then took 30 more minutes to fix. Not true, I have it on my cameras and I stayed with technician the whole time.
I paid the bill because I didn't know what else to do. I immediately called the company to speak to them about this matter, was asked how much I think I should have to pay. Then was told that the manager said I shouldn't have paid and he can't give refund now that I have already paid but he would give $50 credit.. no thanks! I asked to speak to the manager and he conveniently just left to go to the field, he was supposed to call me by end of day and surprise.. he never did.
I would never recommend this company to anyone. Terrible customer service and seems like they adjust their prices based on what they think they can get away with.

Great service. Took care of the multiple jobs quickly and followed up as needed. I like that they offer different price points to complete the service.

We needed our panel upgraded and some other work on our 1950's wood 1200 sq ft house. The first quote was for $37,000. The second quote was $27,000 and finally to just do the bare minimum was $4,700. Will never call them again.

They have been to the house on 3 occasions to work and only had the correct equipment one time.

Said one thing, arrived and something said else with a new cost was the issue.

Will not use them anymore.

Horrible experience. Completely misdiagnosed the drain problem. Then they had the audacity to send me an estimate for work not needed--nearly $3,000! I asked for a second opinion and, sure enough, it was a simple fix which was taken care of on the spot. Be aware.
