Best Leak Detection in Durham NC
I requested an estimate through yelp to replace a water valve. Ethan was very responsive, arrived on time, made the repair and fixed a few other things that he found to need replacement. I needed a new kitchen faucet and he even went to Lowes, picked up the part and replaced that. I'm very pleased with the service and knowledge and highly recommend!

Can I give these guys six or seven stars???
My garbage disposal was clogged and I'm clueless, so I contacted Jayk's. I'm so glad I did. They sent out Lou, who was the nicest, most polite, most professional guy you'll ever meet. He texted me to let me know he could even come a bit earlier than scheduled if that was okay with me. It took him about a half hour to solve the problem. The fee was extremely reasonable.
I will definitely contact Jayk's again. World-class service.

Eugene and his team installed a gas, tankless, water heater for me last month. I recommend Eugene highly and without reservation. He answered all of my questions up front, connected me to previous customers (a tankless, water heater is a big investment, you know!) and thoughtfully explained all of my options in terms of conventional tank vs. tankless and where to place the water heater. The team removed my old, tank heater and installed the new on-demand heater according to code and came in considerably less than the other plumbers I had contacted for quotes. I trust Eugene and his team and asked him to come back to replace an old water-pressure valve, which so improved the water pressure in my house. Honest, reliable, and responsive.

As always ARC plumbing came through for us. Brantley was amazing and Bradly was a true professional. I know we can always count on ARC. Installed 4 toilets quickly and cleaned up everything. Thanks so much!

Seth, where have you been for the past 20 years? I have searched high and low for a reliable, dependable, honest handyman. I have hired/tried a couple of handymen - but they were subpar. You Seth are the REAL DEAL!! The answer to our prayers. My husband and I cannot express how pleased we are with you, your professionalism, promptness, very reasonable rate and EXCELLENT work!!
At a desperate, last minute request, I reached out to you on a Saturday. Even though you had plans with your children, you promised that after you had returned from the zoo, you would contact me and come over to replace our garbage disposal. You kept your promise. You were honest and saved us $$. You performed your magic and got our old disposal working. Which means I can return the newly purchased disposal and get my $$ back!! YOU SAVED US $$$. Not only that, out of the blue my husband asked you about our LOUD icemaker. You took time and assessed the problem, and came up with a fix, which was totally not the original reason for your service call. THANK YOU A THOUSAND TIMES!
SETH YOU ARE A KEEPER!! I WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO OTHERS!!! THANKING GOD FOR ALLOWING OUR PATHS TO CROSS. Hugs, Hugs, Hugs.
My husband and I plan on keeping you around. As the saying goes you are STUCK like CHUCK with us.
Much Appreciation and Gratitude,
KRH and JAH

Jason Hogg, the technician came out to my house on a Saturday to put in a shower/tub faucet. He had to cap off the pipes so he could come back to do the install on Monday. He scheduled the appointment and told me he would be back on Monday at 10am. I called Monday at 8am to ask for a detailed bill, which by the way they do NOT provide. They told me I didn't have an appointment. Turns out someone didn't do their job I was not on the list. Long story short, no plumber ever came to fix my shower. Cody and Brandon the dispatchers did not follow-up with me to let me know they were late and may not be able to come. Finally at 5:15 I called them back again and was told no one would be coming. And they do NOT schedule a time for arrival for a service call.
The one star is for the amazing ladies who answer the phones!

The technicians that came to fix my kitchen sink faucet were friendly and on time (I called to schedule and they had someone at my house in under two hours!) It was great to read their bios and learn about them - turns out we had some things in common! Both of the guys were very professional but easy to talk to. They recommended an option for a long term fix, which I chose to do after listening to the pros and cons. And the price was great too! I don't normally post reviews but I think these two guys deserve one. Thanks again Quality Service - you've got a customer for life!

Not one to normally leave reviews but after three times of working with this company to fix what they called an easy fix, I have had it. I had Gilmar come out on a Wednesday to fix my ac. The part they needed to be replaced which triggers Ac to shut off to avoid flood was not available. Therefore, I had to get a secondary trigger put on as it was safety issue and I had to pay for it, also pay for
The new piece to come in. Just before all this, Blanton said I was no longer a member as my membership had expired less than a
Month ago. However they still owed me maintenance appointment.... fast forward to the day my part came in. Gilmar replaces it and leave within 30 minutes. Less than an hour after he leaves, my AC is out AGAIN.... call them back and I have to wait 3 hours before someone comes back. 1. If I have two things doing the same job, why did my ac stop working if one was not installed correctly??? 2. How terribly trained are these technicians that Gilmar left a loose wire... well again let's fast forward to less than a week, my AC is out. Of course now it's on a weekend so I call on Sunday, and they cannot get anyone out here until Monday morning... in all this, i have a toddler who can't sleep because she is sweating and I am 6 months pregnant. All
This could have been avoided if the job was done correctly the first time... I was thinking of reviewing a membership but after this experience, They don't deserve any more of my money.

If you are considering Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Alamance County please first, consider my experience:
A $476.50 estimate for a repair that ultimately cost less than $8.00.
My outdoor hose bib was leaking from a small cap. I put in a call to Mr. Rooter, spoke to a very nice customer service person who seemed glad to help. The agent explained there was a $50.00 non-refundable trip charge which I paid with the understanding that I would receive a professional analysis of any repair required and it would go toward the ultimate repairs. An appointment was made and on the morning of the appointment the tech arrived in a timely manner. We spoke briefly and he confirmed the issue (he never turned on the water to see the leak) and immediately began talking about removing interior drywall to access supply pipe. I absolutely did not intend to remove interior wall. The estimate did not include repair and repaint of the interior which would have left me with a gaping hole and exposed plumbing in my study to be repaired by others at additional expense. Ultimately, I learned that my problem was not only exceptionally common in my area, but, exceptionally easy to fix. I was advised to buy a vacuum breaker repair kit (a device with which I was unacquainted, neither needed nor present on outdoor plumbing where I previously lived) for approximately $7.72. It took about 5minutes to install and, no more leak. Surely, a professional should have been able to do this simple repair without removing drywall and the kind of workmen with whom I desire to do business would certainly have drawn attention to or offered the simple solution. Does my experience speak to the expertise and/or the ethics of Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Alamance County? You decide.
