The Fixer, Nate, was very pleasant, resolved my issue, and I would gladly work with him again.

Jayme, who discussed billing with me, did not convey there was a 1-hour minimum charge until after the work was completed. This led to a surprise bill for a 15 minute visit that should have been a quarter of the cost. After expressing my concerns, he reduced the price by 50%, which is still a up-charge of 100% given the information he provided me and the services rendered. I would expect better customer service for a mistake he made, i.e. not conveying the 1-hour minimum before booking the appointment. I would not work with Jayme again.

For context, below is the message that they claim conveys a required 1-hour minimum of service:

The clock starts once your Fixer arrives. The assessment usually takes 5 mins. within the first hour of service. Then your Fixer will advise how long it will take to complete this task. We charge $119/hr prorated to the minute after each hour of service.

The after each hour of service is what is vague and confusing. It should have said something like: there is a minimum one hour charge of $119; any additional time beyond 1 hour is billed at $119/hr, prorated to the minute.

Showed up quickly. The hose on my ice maker on back of our refrigerator split during night and we came down to a flood in our kitchen. I had a bit of a 'sticker' shock when I saw the bill. After I spoke with the office they were nice enough to help and made an adjustment as a courtesy. My lesson is to make sure to find out the hourly rate on any service from anyone (not just this company). They did a great job and gave me a little wiggle room on the price. Really appreciated it as I was dealing with a mess. There rest of the damage is being dealt with by insurance but at least no more flooding.

Needed a new sink and an overflow put in my kitchen so I went ahead and looked up faucet installation in my area. Went forth and picked this company and everything turned out perfect and I was very pleased with the professionalism and how smooth the process went. I've had pretty bad experiences and I will be recommending my girlfriends to this company for any kind of handyman interior & exterior projects! Thank you again so much J&D Home Services and Repair.

These guys are great!  The promptly responded to our call regarding a gas leak from a faulty valve to our oven and also a slow water leak from a valve under our kitchen sink.  They gave us a very reasonable quote and performed the work right then.  In fact, while they were there, I asked about some other work (replacing the water valves under the kitchen sink and running a water line to the fridge) and they came back the next day to perform that work.  After our kitchen flooring project was done, they came back and hooked up the gas line to the oven and water line to the fridge.  We are very happy with their work and highly recommend them!

Contacted TNT Plumbing to quote a project. A week after coming out we still did not have a quote.
TNT Plumbing seemed to be good people so we are a bit puzzled as to why we didn't heard back from them.

I will never use planet plumbing again. The plumber that came to my home thought it was appropriate to use my phone number to send me personal texts the next day as a way to hit on me?! As a single woman I felt violated and extremely unsafe having had this man in my home. When I called his supervisor to lodge a complaint I was told he didn't mean anything by it. Never again!! Totally unprofessional and totally disgusting. Think twice before allowing them into your home and giving them your personal info.

Our baseboard heating system - original to our 60+ year old house - had gotten air in the pipes and was not running smoothly.  The Summit boiler technician inspected the system and offered several optional items that he thought would improve its operation, some of which were upgraded parts and some that were maintenance.  He explained how and why each step could improve things.  We authorized the work, and it was completed within a week.  Better yet, it got the system running smoothly again.  At no time did we feel any pressure to authorize the work, but we are glad that we did.  We'll look to Summit for our HVAC needs from now on.

Surgey was super speedy and responsive to my initial contact on Yelp, which was foreshadowing for future interactions.  The business is appropriately named.  I reached out the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, and he responded that day, and proposed to start the job the next day on Saturday.  For reference, I requested an estimate from five other businesses on Yelp, and two of them responded that holiday weekend, while three others reached out on Tuesday.  By the time the others responded on Tuesday, Surgey had already started my project three days earlier.   Once he arrived on scene he was professionally dressed, manicured, and well put together - no plumbers crack.   No frumpiness.  
When I messaged him later, he was equally responsive.
While installing a bathroom vanity, Sergey observed that my plumbing under the house was concerning and he took video of his findings.  While I am about to sell the home, it does not make sense to make this investment.  However, it was good to know he made this observation and he was ready to give a recommendation.
He returned for a second project to install updated metal hardware to my bathtub, and this upgrade the aesthetic.

Thanks to the great advice of the team, I was able to find several issues through their smoke test rather than just fixing a potential cause. The team was super respectful of the property and great to work with. I will definitely use their services in the future!

Very Over Priced so I don't recommend especially the elderly ridiculous price,another company did the same job for my friend $175 and this company charged me $589 a total rip off

Brian came out to my home when my furnace was not working.  It was  about 8 pm.  He was very professional  and courteous.  Brian went straight to work with a smile, he diagnosed the problem and had the furnace up and running.  I have two toddlers and Brian was a life saver.  We all slept great and warm!!!  Thank you Brian and Fix-it 24/7.  We  will recommend them to everyone!

Set time for 12-4.  No show by 5:10 and so I called was told Oh it looks like we won't be able to get out to you today after all...  This was a Friday.  This was a sewer back-up. I am not impressed, to put it politely, and I am also  Very annoyed and disappointed.  And, in reading the other reviews, I guess I should not be surprised. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!

I recently had a new AC unit installed by Squeaks and was very appreciative of their services! Their crew was friendly and professional, and everybody who I spoke to over the phone and via email was very response. It took a week or so to book my initial appointment, but that seemed pretty average for the middle of summer AC issues. Thank you Squeaks!
