Best Air Duct Repair in Denver CO
Called and set an appointment with them. 15 minutes before they are supposed to arrive, they call my husband (who was on another call) and leave a message saying they won't be coming. No explanation given or call back to reschedule. We both tried calling the number they called from as well as the business number in the email confirmation (which were different numbers) and neither one went through. STAY AWAY. Now we have to find someone else to do the work, and our toilet remains unusable.
Update- the owner called to explain that the call was just to say that they were going to be late. However, the message that was left by the receptionist was that the plumber was UNABLE TO COME DUE TO AN ISSUE. The owner then tried to blame us for a miscommunication. He also explained that their phone system was down, yet my husband and I both tried to call within minutes of receiving their message (so it was working then). The owner seemed more concerned about my Yelp review and ended the call with telling me he was going to work with Yelp to get the review removed. Great customer service, and likely why they have so many positive reviews. Apparently the honest ones get taken down.

I'm late in posting this review, but a couple weeks ago we had TNT come out to fix a toilet flange replacement my husband started, but he was in way over his head. Hubby really screwed the pooch on this one, but with TNT's knowledge and experience the job was handled in just a couple hours. We'll be having TNT out again to run a gas line to our stove, because electric stoves are the devil's playground and I will have no more of it!
Thank you TNT, you are much appreciated!

I would highly recommend using Alliance Air Solutions!! They do great work at a very competitive price. They installed a Mitsubishi mini split in my condo downtown and not only has it added value to our investment, it works great with our 16ft ceilings!! Working with the owner Zach was a pleasant experience and we will continue to use him for our future HVAC needs.

Zach and his crew were great. They worked with our budget and got our house cooled down with a new system right away. Can't recommend them enough for being professional, fast, and fair in their pricing!

Taylor was very quick to respond at 5pm on a Saturday. He arrived within 30 minutes, was able to diagnose the problem and get us back up and running. Friendly, responsive and did not push expensive replacements as first response. Great overall experience.

I have used this company for years and the technicians have always been knowledgeable, polite, on time and efficient. Never any complaints. They installed my furnace over 10 years ago and it finally died in the big flood last year. It lasted a good long time with no problems.

They have the audacity to solicit reviews when they way overcharge. OK here goes - they wanted $503 for a thermostat that I ended up buying for full price online for $123. I even offered them $250 for an item that probably wholesales for under $100 and the stuck with their 500% markup.

Outrageous and deceitful!!! Water heater went out on a Monday morning. As a rental property owner I have installed several water heaters myself but was at the mercy of a company such as AAA because of the timing (i.e., if this had happened on a Friday, I would have had it fixed that afternoon, but I have to work all week long). We are talking about a 30 gallon, residential water heater inside an easily accessible closet on the ground floor of a house. The technician called me at work to give me a quote before beginning the job----$2,000.00!!!!!!!! He was also well trained by AAA in 'selling' the service component and changing the plumbing set up as part of the price. He also informed me that 30 gallon tanks were no longer available.
I was so outraged that I cancelled the service call. At the end of the work day I went to Home Depot; whaddayaknow????? rows of 29-30 gallon tanks!!!!! I switched out the tanks and the perfectly good pipes lined up exactly with the new tank. After installing a new flexible gas line the price tag came to----are you ready for this????---$357 for the tank and $10 for the gas line------$367 total!!!!
Now, even if you don't have the time or skills to replace a water heater (really a pretty simple homeowners job)-----$2,000 minus $367 leaves a labor bill of $1,633.00!!! It took me less than 3 hours to complete this job------WOW!!! someone should pay me $544 per hour to install water heaters-----I'll quit my day job.
I will never use AAA for anything!!!!!!!!

Awesome, timely service. Chad arrived right on time and did a great job with that old, stuck valve. Many thanks!

Jeromy arrived on time and was fully prepared to replace my sump pump. He explained his approach and answered all 50 of my questions. He had supplies on hand and was quick to pick up more when unexpected issues came up. Jeromy was a pro who was able to diagnose the situation and fix it promptly. He was also very helpful when recommending other service providers suitable for restoring a basement flood. I will keep their contact information close at end!

They gouged me way over the value of replacing a sump pump, which I had to get done fast to sell my house. When I contacted them I got the runaround and nothing happened, No return phone calls as promised when I called the office. I would never recommend using them,

After getting some work done by another company and the work done wrong. (Avoid company called comfy n' air)
Ultimate was very professional and courtesy. They came out assessed the problem and fixed it.
Nathan was very professional and helped me understand my furnace better. Being a new homeowner it was awesome.
I'm so thankful for reputable companies like this.

I found these folks when my previous plumbers were not doing regular plumbing any longer. They recommended Sunshine, and I looked them up, reviews were good, so I was in. They installed a Halo 5, to counteract hard water issues that I was having.
They are very responsive, and very good to work with. I have had Rocky L out to the house a couple of times, He is very nice, and just an all around good guy. Very efficient and thorough. Always calls, when he is on his way, and gives me an ETA. The little things, like that, make me like them even more. When you have a two hour window, having a head's up can really make the difference. He is a good ambassador for Sunshine Plumbing.
Not sure how prices compare to other plumbing organizations, as opposed to independent plumbers. I think they may be a little high, but don't think that they are Applewood, or Ben Franklin - type high.
The owners seem to be actively participating in the business, which I like. The owner actually called me, to discuss The Halo 5 filtering system. When I told him what I had read, he called the Halo people to get clarification. Then he recommended a fix, and helped me understand how it worked. I was impressed at his hands on approach.
I purchased the Sunshine club membership, and have used it more than I thought. But, it is so convenient to not have to look for someone every time you have a plumbing problem.

Your company came out last season to clean my furnace, took it apart, and the tech said I needed a new motor. I asked the tech to put it back together as I could not afford a new motor. The furnace was in pieces all over the floor and the tech said he could not put it back, the furnace would not work!!!!!
I felt I had no choice and bought a new motor, that I'm STILL paying for it, and as soon as it was installed it HUMMED! Several techs came out and talked about venting system may be at fault. It's not! I have lived in my home over 30 yrs and have had 2 furnaces - neither HUMMED. The humming started with the installation of this new motor.
Now that the heating season is back the furnace STILL HUMMS!
It is making my life in my home that I love MISERABLE - MISERABLE - with the constant HUMMING!
PLEASE do the right thing and replace this motor with a motor that is the correct motor for my furnace that does not HUM!
The response to my 1st review was to call so we can work on making it right.
This company STILL has not done anything!
I am in my late 70s and hope to live out my life in the home I love PEACEFULLY!
FixIt 24/7 PLEASE correct the situation you created!

I called Applewood because the pipe that drains my kitchen sink/dishwasher was leaking. Technician came out and determined that the leak was from a crack in the pipe approximately 3-5 inches from where the pipe enters my basement (basement is not finished all plumbing is easily accessible). No leakage in the sink cabinet, just from the portion of pipe in the basement. The Applewood technician proceeded to explain to me that since the leak was so close to the basement ceiling, he would have to cut a hole in the back of the kitchen sink cabinet and replace the pipe that is in the wall that goes down into the basement. I asked the technician for a quote. After approximately 15 minutes he came back with a quote for $1300, including their lame service plan. Paid the technician the $29 service call fee and told him I would need to get another quote. Called a local plumber recommended by my wife's cousin. He came out, took a look at the pipe and said he could just replace the broken portion in my basement for $200. When I mentioned I had another plumber out who wanted to replace the entire pipe in the wall to the tune of $1300 and leave a nice huge gaping whole in the back of my cabinet for me to repair or pay to repair, he asked who it was. When I said Applewood his reply was I am surprised they didn't want to remodel your entire house. Here it is approximately 45 days after the repair and everything is working like a champ, also the local plumber ended up only charging me $170 for the repair since it didn't take as long as he originally thought!
My takeaways from the experience: 1) Do not do business with Applewood, they are a hopelessly unethical, pathetic excuse for a company 2) Shop around, get multiple quotes, talk to friends and family 3) There are still some good, honest, ethical contractors out there 4) Since Applewood is A+ rated by the Better Business Bureau and on Team Dave Logan it shows me those credentials aren't worth a booger 5) The only conclusion I can draw concerning those that have given Applewood a positive rating is that they are either clueless or were gifted something.
Not sure how the Applewood ownership/management can look in the mirror and feel good about themselves. You can provide a needed service, make a comfortable living and not resort to shafting people.
Hopefully this review will help others from getting duped by this shameless company.
