Best Air Duct Installation in Denver CO
Great experience with Josh from Summit. When scheduling I was told fully what to expect with the appointment, which was helpful. Josh was prompt and easy to chat with. He explained the process and answered all of my questions. He brought up a few additional suggestions with no pressure to purchase. I am happy with my service and will be using Summit again in the future.

Called them over a month ago to repair a leaking shower head. Owner said he needed to order a part and then he'd get back to me. Heard nothing after a month. Called back a week ago to get him to call me back - still nothing. Their rates are egregiously high - even with the veteran's discount. Charged me $400 to repipe the P-trap under a sink.

I would highly recommend using Alliance Air Solutions!! They do great work at a very competitive price. They installed a Mitsubishi mini split in my condo downtown and not only has it added value to our investment, it works great with our 16ft ceilings!! Working with the owner Zach was a pleasant experience and we will continue to use him for our future HVAC needs.

Zach and his crew were great. They worked with our budget and got our house cooled down with a new system right away. Can't recommend them enough for being professional, fast, and fair in their pricing!

Nothing like your AC giving out during the hottest time of the year. I turned to Yelp to find someone that could come out and help quickly. Tyler was so fast at responding to my request and making it out to our home.
He arrived on time and diagnosed our problem right away. He thankfully had the part we needed with him so was able to get everything up and running very fast. He answered all of my questions and provided some other helpful HVAC-related tips to keep our family cool.
He charged a fee for a service call but said that it's good for the next year whether we need more AC or furnace help. While I hope we don't run into any more troubles, I definitely wouldn't hesitate to give him a call and recommend him to others in the area.

12/18. New install 2 days ago. There had been many issues over past 7.5 months. Now - new furnace, coils, humidifier. John improved the return ducts, increasing grill size, reducing their noise level. The furnace originally installed may have been the wrong model furnace for my home & my preferences, it was very poorly installed (about 10 subsequent service visits), and the furnace turned out to be defective. I have to give Coffman credit. Anyone can have a bad employee, or install a furnace that has defects. I had to be quite persistent, but they stood by their commitment to the customer and made it right, including extending the service contract. However, I have already found some issues with the new install. Very frustrating. Hopefully some more adjustments by Coffman will get this review to 4 stars. 1/7/23 edit : Yes. Subsequent visit helped.
12/14/22 After additional communication with Traci, just had co-gm John here at my house to evaluate the situation. Finally someone found the gas leak I had been complaining about, that multiple Coffman people couldn't find, and said was fine. John also agreed that some other things were not great. We agreed on a plan going forward. I didn't get everything I would have liked, but it is a reasonable plan. Will update this review again after the plan is implemented (includes installation of a new furnace). John also says Coffman will pro-actively work with other folks that had the guy that did bad installs.
12/10/22 update. Jake did 7-8 fixes on 12/8. He did not do the full evaluation that I had requested from Traci, only fixed some of the known issues. Since a couple of replacement parts were needed, he also scheduled someone else that replaced 2 more things on 12/9.
Issue : Not a full evaluation of a bad install by an known incompetent, and since fired, employee. What happens a year from now, or 5 years from now, as other problems pop-up ? We are no where near sufficient remediation. At a minimum, I need payment for damage done to my home, plus free maintenance on this system forever. And what about other victims of this bad installer ? From the many techs that have been to my home in the past 6 months, I hear that Coffman has responded to service calls from some of those folks and done some fixes, but has not pro-actively reached out to all those customers, and evaluated and repaired/replaced their systems. To me that seems like a very poor business decision - maximizing profits and endangering customers.

The technician arrived on time, and was very friendly. He gave me a simple explanation of the issue and an estimate. The service was performed within the estimated time frame and the problem was solved when he left. Wonderful service. I've used Done! several times and will continue to call them when issues arise.
Not to mention I received a call confirming my appointment, a call when the tech was en route to my house, and a satisfaction call when the service was complete. Excellent customer service!

AAA Service was extremely responsive and the technician showed up on time. He was very helpful in explaining what was going on with my furnace and helped me make good choices for repair work.

Quoted me $1,800 just to install a kitchen sink, kitchen faucet, garbage disposal and a whole home water filter. All items supplied, all replacing existing items with same dimensions and whatnot. Had someone do the exact same thing for me at my other house a while back for 1/3 the price! Wish I can remember who I hired back then!

I do not recommend this company for repairing swamp coolers. The gentlemen came over to take a look at the coolers and said I would need a new pump, which was not true. He wanted me to purchase a new one for several hundred dollars. I went outdoors a couple of hours after he left, and I was surprised to find the water coming out of the pipes leading to the cooler. I can't believe a plumber would leave my back porch in such a condition. I had to fix the leak myself. The swamp cooler was not even cleaned out with dirty water still in the swamp cooler. After speaking to my neighbor who looked at the cooler and low and behold, he was able to get it going. The plumber installed a floater and charged me $427. A floater at Home Depot costs $15 dollars. There was nothing wrong with the pump, which he wanted me to purchase for $505. I will never do business with this company ever again.

TLDR: Dishonest business, misdiagnosed my problem, tried to take advantage of me.
My home didn't have working AC, so we looked around for best-reviewed companies and picked this company for its high amount of 5 star ratings on google. Note: Yelp reviews are much lower. We did not receive professionality, transparency, or good value. We were taken advantage of.
They showed up when expected, and diagnosed our needs to include replacement of our full system -- including indoor evaporative coil and external condenser unit. The technician showed my partner a lot of numbers on an iPad and claimed that there was damage and leaking to both units. We asked on the phone and on emails for an invoice that included the diagnosis notes and the quote for all parts of the unit so we could make an educated decision. They, however, only responded with emailed offers for financing and completely disregarded our requests for information for several days. The only written information we had after almost a full week was a single invoice with a charge for $10,149 that only included a listing for the outdoor condenser unit (the invoice also stated that any additional charges and parts must be paid for without our approval if we approved the initial estimate). We didn't even get the initial invoice for the $49 diagnosis we had paid for. After sending those multiple emails, I decided to do some research on the parts costs and calling other companies to find out what costs might be for the same services. Nobody I spoke to could help me understand where the $10,149 could be justified, and I received offers for thousands less for the same work from some other local companies.
I called the company to try to get some clarity: I spoke on the phone with a receptionist who stated that she couldn't provide information for our services. I then called the manager, John, who decided to place blame on his technician, my partner, other companies, and made some mention of some new employee. I had to insist multiple times before he agreed to give me the invoice and diagnosis info. He insisted that they never give transparent quotes (though their Google ad states that they provide Upfront & Transparent Pricing Always) and they can't make any money if they lower their prices and/or make bargains with their customers. He used manipulative sales tactics and regularly disregarded my direct questions with gaslighting and condescending comments about how businesses work. I was very direct and patient, and he consistently emphasized that prices can't be changed and parts are not able to be changed. I told him I didn't see value in his estimate of services required, and I didn't feel comfortable with them performing services with the untrustworthy manner in which he was behaving. I asked for clarity on the limited, shoddy notes written for the diagnosis, and he gave me little context. He brought up my partner's 1 star review, and stated that he wants us to take it down because his managers are going to question him on it. I said no, due to the entire experience we've had. Natural consequences follow harmful behavior. He then offered to pay for a second opinion from another company, give me 10% off, and to provide a higher-rating condenser if we would take off the review. I told him I felt they deserved the reviews for an honest accounting of our experience, and I don't feel that I can trust their business on all accounts.
Thankfully, I happened to know some people with commercial HVAC experience who came out and gave us a second opinion. They found that there was a small leak in the evap coil and one incorrectly installed signal wire for the condenser. They fixed the leak, rewired the condenser, filled the system back up with refrigerant, and confirmed full operation. We now have fully working AC and only paid about $300 for the work.
Clearly we've been taken advantage of, and I feel certain that if I hadn't stood my ground and gotten a second opinion, we would have spent an unnecessarily massive amount of money.

Five stars to Nicholas Moore. He will calculate your loads and give you a Manual JSD. He is super on top of your project and responsive to all of your questions that you may have on your project. Will call you and email you right away! Amazing
Lloyd Ladd, well that's a whole new story. He will drop you like a bad habit if you ruffle his little feathers. Don't ask him questions because he will only answer half of them and will keep you hanging when you are trying to order. Even if you're about to spend a upwards of $80,000 plus on new equipment and installation for your new dream house.

Let me start by saying that I am not an electrician, and not much of a DIYer either. Hence, when I tried to diagnose why my in-sink disposal was not working, I was sure it was an electrical issue. We had replaced the disposal a couple years before, and it had not given us any issues or indications that it was failing.
So I called Fix-It 24/7. The people on the phone were nice and set up an appointment for the two days later. Our electrician (I regret that I forget his name) and his apprentice showed up right on time and I showed them to the problem.
The first thing he told me, before he even touched any part of my house, was that it would be $260 to fix the problem. That was my first red flag. He hadn't even so much as looked under my sink or taken out a single tool.
Once I reluctantly agreed, it took him about 2 minutes before he said, The electrical is fine, your disposal is broken.
Now look, of course I'm embarrassed because I thought I had made sure that the disposal was not the issue. However, when I apologized for wasting his time, he said I can't charge you for that. How about $200?
Wait, what? This is a negotiation? He hadn't done any work at all. I said Isn't this what the trip charge is for? He could be in and out of my house in 10 minutes and have made $40 for his trouble without fixing anything. But no. Not this electrician. He then said How about $150. I said, Fine, whatever. And I thought that would be the end of it.
So I encouraged him to leave. But, I guess he realized that I was planning on making a complaint, and then started looking for something to do. He told his apprentice to grab his cleaning supplies and then went out to my electrical box and started blowing it out with compressed air. Wow, what an incredible use of my time. At this point, I had told him he didn't need to do anything else and could leave at least three times. The only reason he stayed in my home is because he knew that charging me $150 for 5 minutes of work was problematic, so he had to do some menial task in order to justify his price tag.
This was a terrible experience. Don't use Fix-It 24/7. If this is the kind of unethical people they are willing to employ, they don't deserve your business.

Applewood replaced the entire electrical panel on our house back in 2013, and absolutely nothing was done to code. They never installed a plug in the back between the air conditioner, and they also never installed an outlet in the front. All the wrong wiring was used, and there is no way that the work that Apple would it would ever pass an inspection or be up to code. Save yourself a lot of money, and do not reach out to these people. We called them to ask them to come back out and check the work that they did, and they will not even come out without charging us $100, it's not our fault they have to put all those stupid commercials on TV and that's how they pay for it by screwing over hard-working people like you and I. Do not use Applewood,
If anybody at Applewood wants me to remove this review, you can simply reach out to me and finish the job that you started eight years ago. If you do that, I will update my review to a positive review since you guys finally did the job that you were paid for. My guess is that nobody in management over at Applewood cares at all about the reviews, Applewood has just turned into a revenue, generating machine, and no longer are the local, reliable electrician that they used to be known as.
