Leah from Auger Plumbing called immediately when I put in a request with Angie's A List for help.  She listened to our problem and suggested that she speak with one of the plumbers and give us a call back with a recommended course of action.   Leah followed through and called us back with the plumbers recommendation for something for us to try before incurring the expense to come out. We applied their advice, and, it worked!  We are thrilled and grateful for their generous help.  It would have been easy for them to come out and charge us $100's of dollars.  Auger staff clearly has integrity and were kind and helpful in curing our problem on this cold Saturday.  Thank you!!  We will use them next time we have a problem.

They showed up right on time, and they wore a mask and kept a safe distance.  The work was completed quickly, and I'm very satisfied with it.  Everything was smooth - would definitely call them again.

Air stopped working during one of our 100 degree days and their technician Roman came out and diagnosed the problem immediately. I had a newborn in the house and he was able to set me up with a temporary fix right away to cool the house down for my little one while he worked on getting me scheduled for the permanent fix. We had a leak in our front yard in the flower bed.   Another company provided me with a quote that I felt was a bit high.   Based on a referral from a family member, I called Pure Plumbing to get a second quote but they said they couldn't provide a quote over the phone.   They offered to come and take a look at the problem and provide a free estimate.   The plumber came and said it would cost $325 for an estimate.  I told him what the other company told me was the problem but he said he had to make sure himself.  Since it was already mid-afternoon, I told him to go ahead with providing me an estimate thinking that I could talk to the office later about the charge for providing an estimate they told me would be free.  After about 10 minutes, the plumber confirmed that the leak was coming from the homeowner's shut off box (which is what the other company told me as well).   His verbal quote was almost twice what the other company quoted me.   He did offer to take the $325 cost of the estimate out of the repair price.   However, he refused to email me a copy of the estimate and said that we would have to close out the transaction before he could provide me with the written estimate.   I asked him to wait outside so I could contact my husband to see what he wanted to do.   I also called the other company to see if they could come out to fix the problem that day but they were booked until the following week.   Since I work from home and didn't want to go without water for another 5 days, I agreed to have him do the work.   After the work was completed, he emailed me the receipt/invoice which has no details of the repairs performed.   I contacted the office the following day about my feeling misled on the free estimate and the invoice.   The person told me they would talk to the supervisor and get back to me on Monday.   On Wednesday, I still had not heard back so I called them again.   The person I spoke to said that the charge for $325 was for work done to locate the leak (10 minutes that he spent to dig in the flower bed to find the hole in the plumbing), and if the problem had been obvious they wouldn't have charged me for the estimate.  It still doesn't make sense to me how they can say free estimate when it's only free when the problem is obvious.  She said she would talk to one of the managers and get a revised invoice to me within 24-48 hours.  

It is now Friday evening and I received no resolution and still have not received a revised receipt/invoice.  I would not recommend this company at all.   While their free estimate claim may not be fraudulent, it is completely misleading.

They were timely and explained the plan each step of the way. Their price was very reasonable. They too care of building permit and inspector appt. They moved quickly and I was very happy with the limited front lawn damage.

Came out quickly and did a good job.   Friendly and did a quick job.    A bit pricey but was worth it.

Great guy and did a great job replacing the water heater. I've recommended him multiple times. If I ever have need of a plumber in the future professor plumb will be my first call

SUPER EXPENSIVE.  Make sure you get a quote before he starts working on your house.  We didn't, and that was our mistake.  Long story short, he showed up and fixed one problem, but discovered another.  He quoted us $2500 to replace a water heater and said he'd be back the next day.  $2500!  We did some research that night and realized how expensive that was and told him the next morning that we'd find someone with more reasonable rates to do the job.  (He tried to justify the high cost because of it being in the attic of a 2 story home.  He said there's a premium for that...which is apparently about a $1000-$1500 premium.)  He didn't like that very much so when he billed us for the work he had done the day before, he charged us $225 an hour.  I couldn't find any plumbers anywhere in Dallas that charge that much.  He justified it by saying that's what he charges to work in attics in the summer in Texas.  Another one of his premiums.  I think he was just price gouging us because he was mad we wouldn't let him do a $2500 water heater installation.  He also demanded we pay that day via credit card and he charged us the 3% credit card transaction fee.

I gave him two stars instead of one because he was on time and knowledgeable.  I'm certain he can fix whatever plumbing project you need help with.  Just make sure you get a quote in advance or prepare to be taken advantage of.

We had damaged a pipe while attempting to replace an outdoor water spigot ourselves and needed it repaired quickly so we could restore water running to the house. I requested a quote on Yelp and they quickly responded and sent someone out within the hour. Between us reaching out and them completing the job was less than 2 hours altogether. Very professional, reasonably priced, and awesome customer service!

I had an emergency need for a plumber last night after hours of course. I called the ones I knew and they lacked any element of willingness to send someone out and two promised to call me when their plumber finished the job they were on. Neither called back as promised. I got a recommendation for Absolute Plumbing in Flower Mound. I called and was promised a return call shortly. I got a call back in 2 minutes. The plumber and co-owner (with his wife) Michael Le Clair came out. I am deleting all other plumbers in my contacts! He was highly professional, informative, knowledgable. The job was done with the skill of a tradesman who takes pride in his work. But there is a bonus to his character. He is an ultra-marathon runner who likes to combine his races with charity runs. He raises funds for a group that raises & trains service dogs for disabled Veterans rebuildingwarriors.com . The dogs are then given free to the Vets. He is behind this venture with a vengeance. I don't normally go out of my way to endorse businesses unless they are above and beyond the rest. If you have plumbing needs, I can't recommend Absolute Plumbing of Flower Mound enough. Helped with a slow draining drain. Very responsive and very nice. I had some confusion over billing and he was quick to help.

I will definitely recommend black tie plumbing , I had written a not so review earlier due to miscommunication but Larissa the office manager took the time to call me and straighten everything up. The technician was pleasant and got the problem fixed in no time, very professional and friendly. I will use black tie plumbing going forward because a good reliable plumbing company like black tie is had to find.

Had a nearly impossible project. Had an old 80gl water heater in a small closet that needed to be replaced with a similar capacity tank; but the newer tanks are wider and taller.

Stan responded on a Saturday when my tenants didn't have hot water and temporarily fixed the issue. He worked with me to order the right water heater. He provided his insightful advice along the way. The installation was not straightforward given the size of the closet and the need to reroute the pipes. His solutions were quite creative and he accomplished the project.

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. The 30 day warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on. Stay away from this company.

This is hands down one of the best home repair experiences I've had. And who said plumbers aren't nice? Seriously, these guys are friendly, courteous, and know their stuff. In fact, it was a home inspection that revealed a leaky kitchen faucet. Anything Plumbing saved the day with their cute little shop truck! Affordable, knowledgable, and wonderful. I called the company to get an estimate on a water softener system. Jason came out (I'm told the owner of the company) on time. He did his thing and when he was done, I also asked for an estimate on replacing my tub. He the told me Give me the weekend and I'll get you an estimate, ok sounds good.
That was it, I never heard from him again. I did call a second time asking about my estimate, and they send him an email, AND! still nothing.  I called back again and told them they lost my business for good.  I just don't understand the lack of response from the owner of the company.

I was charged $39 for the guy to just show up. Once he showed up he began reciting a list of fees I would have to pay in order to get a quote for my leak. Once he saw that I was not interested and would rather turn to another company he began giving me a ball park estimate. By the end of the conversation he was telling me it would cost me AT LEAST 50k to change my drain pipes in the crawl space. He was pulling numbers out of nowhere and wanted to make me feek insafe in my own home. The funny thing is that i am a property adjuster so i have a pretty good knowledge of what can be done and how much one can expect to pay for the work he was proposing to do.  Clear lack of professionalism, knowledge and utter disregard to basic customer service. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They give plumbers a bad rep.
