Called Darin to do some water heater work for me and he was reasonably priced, extremely responsive (something very important to me) and did excellent work. I've already asked him back to do some more.

Our master shower drain needed to be jack hammered out and replaced. Chris came out and quoted us a price for this which was inline with our final price. Josh performed the job and was pleasant. The job took longer than expected because of an error in shipping made by their supplier. Once the product came on they got back to our house the soonest they could. Definitely got the the most honest and up front feeling from Chris than other plumbing companies that came out to quote us.

This was a simple repair, took less than an hour, no diagnosing location required.  Cost should be near the low end of the average cost.

Above and beyond, the name says it all. I called early in the Morning and they were here right away. Joe came and gave me a quote and unlike most people in the home service industry, he actually stuck to his quote. Got the job done without any up sales or harassment. I will be calling Joe from above and beyond Plumbing for as long as I own this house.

Recently we had a slab leak in our house, and determined that a full repipe was necessary. After receiving bids from numerous repipe companies in the San Diego area, we decided to go with Ameri-Cal for a few key reasons:
1) Price. The bid from Ameri-Cal was comprehensive - new Uponor PEX pipes with a 25 year warranty, all new hose bibs, pressure regulator, drywall patch and texture, and stucco patch, and they still came in at the lowest price. All the
2) Track record. They are licensed, bonded, and insured, but don't let the low number of Yelp reviews for their Carlsbad office concern you - their main office is up in Buena Park, and they have over 150 five-star reviews. They also specialize in repiping.
3) Ease of communication. I asked for a quote over Yelp and was connected with their associate Toby, who was friendly, straightforward, and responsive over Yelp message and text. He was able to give a quote over text message rather than having to schedule a visit, which made the process much easier. I had a lot of questions both before and during the repipe process, and he was always quick to respond and professionally courteous.

The repipe took one day to install the pipes (8am-4pm) and one day the following week for the drywall and stucco patch (9am-3pm or so) and went very smoothly. They utilized our attic (1 story home) to route the new pipes, requiring minimal holes in the bathroom and kitchen. They were also able to repipe to the shower valves without requiring new escutcheons, which is great. The new pipes have been functioning well, and the drywall and stucco patch and texture look great. I'm glad I went with Ameri-Cal and would definitely recommend them for repiping.

I originally inquired about a possible clogged toilet via Yelp.  Go Plumbing responded right away. Christian arrived early and was able to assess the problem. Christian was very informative, explaining everything he was doing. He was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt.  I highly recommend him for any plumbing services.

Top-notch service. Called them Monday morning after my central AC unit stopped over the weekend. Promptly scheduled an appointment for the following morning. Fred showed at the beginning of the 2-hour appointment window we had scheduled. Discovered repair only involved replacing a burnt wire. He also gave a helpful recommendation about the filter, but didn't try to sell me one as he said not yet necessary.Total charge was only $85. I really appreciate the honesty as my unit likely was installed when the house was built in 1967 - I bet many contractors would have said I needed to replace the old unit.

I usually don't write reviews for companies I haven't personally dealt with, but I've been on hold for over 30 minutes with my home warranty company after the dispatcher called to tell me they don't service tankless water heaters and I should call to get another company dispatched more quickly.

Really? A company called Water Heaters ONLY doesn't service tankless units? Not believing this could be true, I visited their website. Want to know what's listed under their specialized services? Tankless water heater service and repair. Waste of time, and feel like I was lied to. Now I'm still waiting to get another company to come out and help me get hot water for my family (two kids, three and under). If they lie about this, what else do they lie about?

These guys are awesome, had an issue where hot water wasn't getting to one of my showers but was still available to all other places.  Called on a Tuesday and they setup an appointment for the next day.  Unfortunately I couldn't take it due to HOA rules, but they basically gave me the first appointment possible that complied with regulations.  They showed up on time and corrected the issue, then upon testing found a problem with the exit spout, which they went ahead and fixed since they were already there.  Super quick, efficient, and very reasonably priced.  I will be calling these guys first with any plumbing concerns in the future.

I have used them twice during heat waves no less.  The first time I had 3 companies before them who could not diagnose the problem.  Another company wanted over $2,500.00 to fix my A/C unit.  They came in and repaired the wiring and replaced a blown fuse for less than $100.00.  Hmmm.....

I just called them again during the most recent heat wave and of course they fixed the problem in less than an hour.  What's remarkable is they did my job when they could have been doing more expensive jobs.  The technician Enrique, was super nice and he arrived on time.  I would give then more stars if Yelp would let me........

I had an emergency with my main water line and they came out quickly to address.  They were very professional and did fantastic work.  Thank you so much!!!

Replaced my hot water heater, just came back for an undersink and faucet issue.

Paul was awesome and friendly. Quick to respond, able to quote over the yelp app with a short description and a couple pictures, competitive prices, and even offered to come out the same day or next day! Cleaned up nicely after he completed the job.

Great experience with these guys. Scheduled appointment quickly, gets you a real pro that knows their stuff. Coming back!

The plumber showed up an hour and a half late.  I had to take time off from work and I was originally told that it would take around 2 hours.  It took 5 hours.  I am understanding of jobs taking longer than the estimated time, but I believe the time was extended because of a lack of preparation for the job.  In addition to the expense of the work, it cost me my wages from my job that I had to leave to be present during the work.

When I asked for licensure and bonding, I was pointed to his mini van that provided the licensure number.  I also asked for a business card or identification, and he informed me that he had not re-ordered business cards.  I just feel that this is very unprofessional.

He was not prepared for the job, in spite of me sending measurements and photos.  He made multiple trips to home depot to get supplies.  The bathtub faucet that he replaced is still not secured and I will very likely have to hire another plumber to repair the faucet.  I am disappointed in the cost and quality of work.

In addition, I had to provide towels and supplies for him to clean up the mess that he had left when he replaced faucets and cut out dry wall.  Had I not reminded him to clean up the mess, he would have left it.  Very disappointing.

We requested water heater flush and clearing of error code on our tank. He was clear in communication and set appointment in just a day. Got our hot water back again now
5-star for quick and great service

I needed to have a frozen hot water valve in my laundry closet replaced ASAP. I requested quotes on Yelp, and Emanuel Morales from ABE Plumbing responded right away with a preliminary quote. I then texted him a photo of the valve and hose attachments. He quickly revised his earlier estimate to $250 parts and labor. Emanuel confirmed the appointment via text and arrived on time. He was courteous, friendly and efficient. The plumbing installation is like new. After the washer and dryer were installed, I ran some loads of wash, and everything worked perfectly. On Monday, Emanuel called to follow up. I told him he did a great job. I would definitely hire ABE Plumbing again.

Can I give zero stars?!? Let me be completely honest with you . . . Our main line to the sewer was plugged. The plumber that came out from Mr Rooter told us we needed to have a new main line sewer access point installed for $1500 because he couldn't find ours. My husband then went out and was able to find our access within 10 minutes using a shovel. All he had to do was dig 1 inch under the grass that had grown over it to find the access. And it was actually exactly where the plumber said he thought it should be. Too bad the plumber didn't bother to check before quoting $1500!!!

Next, he worked on the line for several hours. The plumber said he wasn't able to clear the line for the normal $250 and told us he needed to use a hydro scrub for $1050! At that point we asked him to leave, and another local plumber came out to our rescue and was able to fix our problem within 15 minutes for $105.

I highly recommend looking at my other yelp reviews to find the good guys because they rock and Mr Rooter sooooooo does not.

ZERO stars aren't low enough. Boo to you Mr. Rooter.
