Best Residential Services in Albuquerque NM
I had an ancient boiler for baseboard heat & domestic hot water heater. Both at least 27 years old, really!
Before catastrophic failure, I requested 4 bids from HVAC plumbers. Of the four , 3 submitted bids; 1 suspiciously low & 1 really high & one in the expected range. Only Baker Plumbing sent the actual plumber to do the bid. That is Steven Baker himself. He arrived at the time agreed upon, asked the right questions & got an itemized bid back in 1 day. Work started on time and finished when anticipated. He came in on target with no overcharges. He explained fully & helped getting tech info for custom settings.
Steven Baker plumbing is highly recommended.

Great service. Was expecting a long wait for service on the swamp cooler but was able to schedule it the same day. Technician was knowledgeable, professional and had the unit working within two hours. When I called their main office both people I spoke to were personable and pleasant.

The owner of Freeman Finest Construction, Earl Freeman, is one of the honest, kindest and hardest working man I know in the construction business.
On June 28th, 2018 I woke up at 4:30am to a busted pipe in the wall and a flooded kitchen. Long story short, the kitchen was deemed a total loss. After almost a month of fighting with the insurance and trying to find a contractor that was willing to help me, the last phone call I made was to Earl. From the moment he answered the phone to the moment we hung up I knew he was the contractor that was going to fix my kitchen. He was straight up with me, answered all my questions without speaking down to me, and took his time to explain what was going on and what was needed to do. He said the money that insurance stated wouldn't even pay for the labor costs, for anybody no matter who I had hired, and he was right. He said that if allowed, he will fight for more money and promise me would do an excellent job. I hired him on the spot and he didn't disappoint. When I told him what I always wanted for my kitchen he listen and then kindly stated that as amazing as it sounds my kitchen is a little to small for what I would like, but, now that he has an idea of what I want and what I like he will take it from here, and boy did he, my kitchen turned out beautiful. He began work on a Thursday and was done that following Friday. He fought the insurance and won to get me more than enough money to fix my kitchen. I always knew that I wanted to redo my kitchen but never did I dream that it would turn out so beautiful. To top everything off, I got really sick during the construction, due to the stress of everything I had been through the past month, and because of that I had to stay home that week. Earl and his crew were so patient and kind to me during this time, for I know it wasn't easy for them to be in a home working when the owner is home sick.
If you need a honest, hard working contractor, Earl and his staff are the ones to hire. You will never find anyone who cares for his customers and does such amazing work as Earl and his staff.

Woke up to a very cold house this morning and found that our furnace was not working. Called up Williams Mechanical and had Josh here within the hour to take a look. These guys are seriously the best! Always professional and friendly. Five stars again for another great experience!

I contacted Total Plumbing on Sunday night through Thumbtack. Ruben responded right away with quote and a time. He showed up at 9:30 the next morning and was done by 1 pm. He had to add a valve and cut through a wall to add a drain to the pan. These were not in the original quote but he just charged for the cost of the valve. He did excellent work and cleaned everything up. The A O Smith hotwater heater he installed is not what they sell at the big box stores, it is the ProLine Commercial Heater. I have use 4 plumbers in the last few years, Total Plumbing is the one I will call back and use again.

Great job done quickly. Timely communication and reasonable price! I would highly recommend and will use him on my next project.

My water heater quit Saturday. I was concerned being a weekend, I didn't know how quickly I could get it fixed. Plus with the Corona virus, maybe, places were not open. David at Wright plumbing responded to my Yelp email right away. He came over and assessed my needs and began working. I thought the costs were fair and he was very helpful. He even checked out my furnace and replaced the filter for me. I highly recommend Wright Plumbing. Great customer service!!!

Great response time! I had a hot water leak and I knew my hot water tank had finally kicked the bucket. I was given a time frame for when Preston would arrive and he called early and asked if he could swing by. I was really worried about the leak so I was relieved to have him come early. He was very professional and showed me where the leak was coming from and what was wrong with it. He recommended a new one which I agreed with. I asked nervously when he could return to replace the tank and to my relief he said he would be able to get it done that day. I know have blissful hot water. I'm so relieved and thankful. Thanks Preston!

We have used this company twice, once for a clogged drain and another time for a toilet replacement. Both times they were quick to respond and charged a fair price for the work. I definitely would recommend you give them a try.

Davis the Plumber does a great job. They take a good look at your problem your having and give you a good estimate. There weren't any surprises. The price was exactly as they said. They were nice, professional and wore their masks. I highly recommend them.

Was overcharged for a simple tankless water heater flush. Two men sent for a one person job, one who didn't do any work other than translating for the one who did all the work. Nice enough fellows but poorly equipped. Drain hose was connected without a washer and ended up spraying water all over mechanical room/garage. Call someone else.

INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED - they cost me time and $$$. My water bill told me I had a leak and I called them to investigate. On Tuesday, Mike discovered an issue with the swamp cooler but after I mentioned it was likely bigger than than he discovered a leak in the main water line which took over a section of the crawlspace, messy and muddy like you wouldn't believe. Water was turned off so that they could attempt a repair but they left without giving me an update as to when they'd be back for next steps.
I have to call after-hours just after 5 to understand what's next and happening. They then tell me the water will be off for days! I put my tenants into hotels immediately and wait for next steps. I call them Wednesday around 4:30 leaving a message for an update and don't hear back.
Thursday, I have to call them (two days later from their initial visit) to see what they say and they mention it's likely still wet and I'm like well let me get dehumidifiers down there. Imagine that! Me trying to trouble shoot with the professionals. They say they have fans so they'll bring them out the next day (they attempted to bring out within the hour but why didn't they do this from day one??)
Friday, next day they show up with the two of the most simple fans and I have to laugh thinking you did not have me wait since Tuesday for this. I get Servepro on it with the dehumidifiers which they promise will dry everything out in two days which it does. I let Day and Night know this and they agree to come back the following Tuesday afternoon when I mention everything will be ready for them to work Monday.
Come Monday I have TLC come out, quote me, ready to work Tuesday am. When I called TLC I tell you they were understanding concerned for my tenants being out of place, a world of difference when communicating with Michelle. She was nice but between her and the team there was a lack of communication, sense of urgency, and plan to have to work done while I have a hotel bill running daily.
For Day and Nights services without any fixed plumbing and my troubleshooting to help them get back in topped $1000, imagine that. I asked several times prior to me canceling them (once I had TLC lined up) about charges and they never mentioned any dollar amount just dating the total would go towards the repair. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone for a big job, just go to folks that will get it done with a plan from the get go.
My invoice for work not completed is nearly the cost of the job had it been done BUT it wasn't. How does that make sense? Buyer beware.

Needed someone to redo the washer faucet/drain box. Their worker showed up alone and got to work, but within the next 2 hours, he managed to drop a torch and burned the top of a *brand new* dryer - he put in a plastic valve box, but it's not flush to the wall and the frame of the valve box doesn't fit, (he tried to glue the frame on with drywall spackling??) - he left a pile of sheetrock dust and trash inside the garage - he was supposed to spackle and texture the sheetrock he cut out, and didn't - *AND* he was in such a hurry to leave the mess that he didn't even bother to turn the *WATER MAIN* back on??!! And - as it turns out - it's just as well that he left the water main turned off, because as soon as I got the water turned back on - *ONE OF THE WASHER CONNECTIONS IMMEDIATELY STARTED TO LEAK*!!!
And - as if all that wasn't enough - when I went out to turn the water main back on - the plumber had somehow managed to turn the cutoff valve so far the wrong direction, that he'd managed to force the brass blocking tab *PAST* the brass block!?!? (I don't even know how you do that!?) I had to use 2 wrenches and a breaker bar to turn the valve back on!!
Needless to say - this was NOT a good experience. I would *NOT* recommend these guys - and I will *NOT* be using them again. (I'm probably going to have to have another reputable plumber out here to make sure this is done right!?) The plumbing work can be fixed - but burning the top of a *brand new* $700 dryer is outrageous and spectacularly careless.....(he actually burned the dust cover that was *over* the dryer first - and could have started a full-blown fire!!)
Don't use - find someone else.....(I didn't see any mention of being licensed or bonded, so - you get what you pay for....)

These guys are awesome. I called and they had someone at my house within a couple hours. He knew just where to look for a hidden leak in the wall and had it fixed in about an hour. He also found a small drip while searching for the leak and fixed that for me. Thank you!

I called my home warranty company HWA to report that my evaporative cooler wasn't working and they assigned me to Ashcraft Mechanical. After performing a quick Google search for the company and saw the sole review they had, which was on Yelp with 1 star. To say the least I wasn't too enthusiastic about using them and decided to call the home warranty company to have another company assigned to assist us.
After 4 days of waiting for HWA to find another company we decided to use Ashcraft despite the review. During their first visit to evaluate the problem, the techs were on time, polite and very efficient. They told us the problem with the cooler and the it would require replacement as it wasn't worth it to fix. By this time we had been dealing with the high heat outside and it was even hotter in our house. The tech managed to do what I couldn't do, get the cooler to limp along and provide some cooling while they did the quote and submitted it to HWA. HWA sat on the quote for a few days and after repeated calls the quote was approved and we called Ashcraft late Thursday to let them know as they had been calling HWA also. Their office staff was incredibly polite and said they needed to confirm and would call us back. In less than 5 minutes they called us back and asked if we would be home the next day, which was a Friday. The techs showed up around noon and in less than an hour and a half they removed the old cooler and installed the new one and had it up and running.
I know the other review used HWA also, and felt that Ashcraft was the cause of the issues they experienced. But in my family's experience, it was HWA that caused the delays and issues not Ashcraft Mechanical. I would highly recommend Ashcraft to anyone, while advising those same people to stay away from HWA.
