Kevin was very helpful with my remodel project.  He gave me good advice and pushed his team to help me meet my tight schedule.  I felt like pricing was fair.  If my mom lived out here, and she needed a plumber, I would tell her to call these guys.

Dynamic Plumbing was a pleasure to work with. Not only were they knowledgeable of the Cambridge area (and departments to work with), they also were great communicators staying on top of a challenging project (our building needed to replace the main shutoff valve and therefore lots of coordination between unit owners, the city, etc. was needed.) Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a transparent and effective plumber.

Absolutely, hands down the best plumber and one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. Jodie, office manager, is on top of everything.  Every phone call is returned promptly.  I manage a large museum-lots of plumbing-and Consolidated Plumbing has been a pleasure to work with.  And I've been working with them for years.  Never a disappointment.  Can't say enough nice things about this company.

It's not often that I feel compelled to post a review on Yelp.  Frank has earned and deserves my positive review.  Here's my story ...

My 89 year old parents live in a house that has very old plumbing.  After other plumbing  companies told them that their bath fixtures and pipes could not be repaired and they would need all new plumbing because the parts did not exist, I searched further and found Frank Formica plumbing on the internet.  I called him and he resonded immediately and went to my parents home that same day.
He approached the job as a 'repair' and found the necessary parts from plumbing suppliers (same day!) and made their sink and shower as good as new.

Frank saved my parents over $1,800 by repairing the leaks vs. installing new fixtures, pipes, and sink and cabinet.

Frank, if you read this, I pass along my gracious thanks and appreciation for choosing to not rip apart my parent's bath because it would have been disruptive and uneccesary.  I also want to thank you for your patience with my Dad's lack of hearing and confusion and my Mom's never-ending questions!  If you can please my Mom, you are a saint.  REALLY!

Had a problem with upstairs toilet. Called 4  people, couldn't get anyone here within a week. Call Mass Plumbing and Heating, Welter came within 3 hours.  Welter was respectful of current Covid issues, he was efficient, cleaned everything up, and in general...a nice guy to have working in the house. I have used Casper for a basement Reno and twice when pipe bursts. Pat and the team are not just great at what they do but they're also genuinely good people. They are my go to for any plumbing needs and they're response time is extremely impressive. Very reasonably priced too. Call them!!

we had an oil burner service company for 20 years and the owner retired a few years ago.  we thought we would never find that level of service again. we decided to convert to natural gas, and we used mainstream mechanical. we also installed a whole house generator.  these guys do great work, are professional, and know their stuff!  we are always assured that no matter what time of the year, day or night, if we have a problem they are there!  we highly recommend mainstream.  Lisa and Richard M.

We thought there might be a leak in the bathroom of our Back Bay condo because our neighbor downstairs occasionally noticed water on their ceiling.  Henry and Jose came over to check out the problem.  They really exceeded expectations, including going into the crawl space between the units to get a better look at what was happening.  They were able to find and fix 2 leaks!  We are very satisfied with the work they did.

Yesterday morning when I went to the basement  and found water on the floor. My water heater was leaking, I made a few phone calls and a friend recommended This company. I called and they came that day gave me a good estimate and then completed the job. The service was professional, reasonably priced, prompt and very personable. I will use them again for any plumbing issues I have in the future.

I had MacCo come out today to adjust my on-demand tankless hot water system. Ryan the tech was excellent. It was clear he knew what he was talking about, and he had the problem solved in a few minutes. After working on the main unit, he checked the water temperatures in all the faucets (two bathrooms, two showers, kitchen sink) and made adjustments until they were right. I asked Ryan a lot of questions, and he answered them all confidently, politely, and demonstrated his knowledge of the system. This kind of hot water system is new to me and now I know exactly how it works thanks to Ryan.

Though you may receive good service, you will pay through the roof, and then if you seek feedback on why the cost is so high, the owner will yell at you and berate you.  

The service provided by Andrew Fodera, the plumber who provided my service was great. He was on time, respectful, answered questions and very helpful. However, you will pay through the roof for the service.  Andrew came to my home twice for no more than an hour each time to assist with a leaky kitchen faucet and continuously running toilet.  I was informed I needed to replace the kitchen faucet and he adjusted the chain in the tank and tightened some bolts.  Andrew returned to install a new kitchen faucet that I had already purchase.  The total for the two visits $791.96.

Feeling this was very high for two hours of work, I contacted Ron Pescatore to inquire about the bill and understand the charges. Only to have him yell at me on the phone and ask me repeatedly what I thought his time is worth.  I indicated that I expected to pay a reasonable hourly rate, but am very surprised at 2 hours of time for the work provided totaled nearly $400 an hour.  He continued to yell over the phone about the cost of his trucks and time to drive to my home stating more than an hour to drive each way.

Be advised, you are paying for labor, owners time to coordinate, drive time and god knows what else.  I take responsibility for not getting a cost estimate prior, I have learned my lesson.

I will pay my bill, but I would recommend that no one hire this company, given the high prices and the treatment you may receive from the owner if you reach out to better understand the cost.  Just know that with this company, you will pay through the roof for basic plumbing needs.

I have used Baker-Elman three times.  Once to install a new furnace and water heater, once to fix the heat in the dead of winter and once for a urgent pipe leak.   The furnace and heater installation went very smoothly and on schedule.  The two urgent calls were handled within hours. My experiences with Baker-Elman have been fantastic and I have recommended them to others.

Over the last few years I have used Bolivar Plumbing to do a few small plumbing jobs in my house. They are very nice people and are on time, or even early. I could never give enough praise to Chris and his sidekick. He is knowledgable, honest and friendly.I have never had any problems with them, at all. On the not so positive side, their hourly rates went up recently about $50.00 an hour. I know that they are in business to make money. I will still use them though. I trust them, and I have trust issues.

I usually read reviews before I call a company but I didn't this time cause it was an emergency. we had no heat on the most coldest day in feb 2015 . he took 5 hrs to get here. looked at my furnance said it was filthy with dust blew a little dust out w his mouth and said we needed a new furnance cause we hadent  been keeping up w maitnance. bottom line he charged me $182.00 for ten min of work. took out my filter and said it was filthy and didn't replace it he said they don't carry filters anymore. you would think for that price I would of gotten a filter. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY he did fix it though and I don't need  a new furnance this place sucks
