Best Sink Installation in Boston MA
I'm going to start with all of the positives, and there are many:
I first met with Kevin, who was extremely professional and courteous. I liked dealing with him, and he was pretty prompt with getting back to me. Communication is important and these guys know it! The guys he sent over, Josh and Bill, were also courteous and professional. Their task was to replace a cast iron drain and vent stack with new PVC, since the old drain was leaking. They had to disassemble a lazy Susan in my kitchen cabinet to access a particular pipe, but at the end of the job, it was fully reassembled like nobody had ever been in there. They kept wall cutting to a minimum and cleaned up after themselves, at least in my condo. So far so good.
Now for a couple of the downsides. Immediately below the joints of the new PVC piping, on the floor of my basement, is caked on pipe epoxy. It is unsightly and does not appear to be easily removable. Some are just blotches. Some are thin lines of it 8-10 inches long across the floor. This is apart from the water stains from the original pipe leak. I can take pictures as needed. It appears that Josh and Bill may have not used a drop cloth when they were working in the basement.
Also the $1895 estimate given to me at the start of the project was basically exactly what the final invoice was. This is a positive, but I expected a more detailed breakdown of the exact cost of what I paid for. There was only one line item on the invoice with a simple description of the job and the total cost. At minimum, I expect a labor breakdown, including an hourly rate, and a list of parts and their costs. I did some prep work on their behalf, which included carefully removing built-in shelves (for later reassembly) and cutting exploratory holes to precisely locate the questionable pipe and any adjacent electrical wiring, so that they could gain access to the necessary areas without the additional labor of doing that themselves. But that seemed to have no downward impact on the final invoice despite giving them at least an hour head start on the job.
Overall, I'm still pleased, and hope to give them another star in the near future if they can somehow address these issues. I still consider them my go-to plumbing service, but they need to take cleanup measures in all areas they work, not just livable spaces.

we needed to cap our gas line in the kitchen - they were able to quickly get us in at the very last minute, checked everything out, and got us fully taken care of within 30 minutes. quick, professional service-thanks!

Consolidated Plumbing is top notch. Mitch did a bathroom remodeling job for us with Doug Rausch as contractor several years ago. They gutted our bathroom down to the studs and completely remodeled it. Mitch's plumbing work was a work of art, and Doug's carpentry and tile work was excellent. We had done a previous bathroom remodel with another company, and Consolidated was far superior. We have made use of their plumbing services with Tommy since then, and we've been very happy with Tommy's work and Jodi's front office services. Thank you Consolidated!!!

I can't say enough good words for Frank. I have a complicated toilet problem as a result of poor installation done by a very incompetent and dishonest plumber. I suffered through two expensive plumbing companies trying to fix it and nothing was fixed. Then I found Frank through Google review. He showed great competence and abundant experience, he avoided any unnecessary procedure proposed by prior plumbers, which are very expensive. He got it done in two hours. And the amount he charged is minimum for this project. I found a very minor issue second day, he arrived in twenty minutes, straight it out and didn't charge me anything for the second visit. Now my problem is fixed done and done. Frank is the best!

When our water heater broke, they responded quickly and came on the same day. Welter was super nice and explained everything what was wrong and how to fix if the same thing happens next time. He never pushed / forced to buy or replace anything and gave us some options. We had a great experience with them and definitely we will use them whenever we need! Highly highly recommend!!!

You never want to be in a situation when you need to call an emergency plumber, but you can feel much better knowing that T Flow is in town. Matt called me back promptly after I left him a message first thing in the morning and arranged for someone to come out ASAP when my shower abruptly stopped draining. The guys were at another job but Henry was great about calling me when they were on the way. My plumbing nightmare was resolved within a matter of hours and for a fair price. Can't recommend T Flow enough!

I have never in my life met a team so passionate at their job. We needed a water heater replaced in our house as well as some other areas issues looked at/fixed. Once we called Landmark we were completely taken care of. We were met at the house and provided options that ranged in prices (with no upset pressure), they educated us on current requirements for venting (3 duct to a now required 4 duct), as well as provided us some good insights into how the water system works in general. Clearly knowledgeable. The quote they provided was never exceeded and we were provided options when looking at water heaters. We chose the one we wanted and before you knew it the team was at the house, early on a beautiful Saturday morning ready and eager to get to work. The work was done beautifully. Not only did we have a new water heater installed (which looks darn good I must say), they installed the new venting ducts as well as shored up ALL the pipes in the basement (something they certainly did not need to do): insulated this one, clamped down that one, checked the water pressure here and removed excess pipes there. A dream team.
Quoting and invoicing is done through FreshBooks which makes the entire transaction paperless and easy. Pricing was unbelievably fair for the work done.
These guys have not only earned our trust, but have earned lifelong customers as well as references.

We are doing a kitchen remodel and needed a plumber to disconnect the stove and sink, Clark Plumbing and Heating came right out on short notice to get us ready for countertops. The guys were extremely professional and courteous, they were very clean and informative in terms of the new appliances we were buying.
After the countertops went in they came right back out to hook up the sink and stove, during a snow storm, so that we could get back to normal
We are truly grateful and would recommend Clark Plumbing and Heating for any of your home remodel needs

Unethical company. Installed my plumbing but it was not up to code. Bad news - stay away.

Response time was fantastic, and it was very easy to set up our appointment to get a new sink installed and a leaky toilet fixed. Jim arrived not just on time, but a little bit early, and he worked diligently until the job was complete. Friendly service, too. Everything looks great, and we are very pleased with how it all turned out. Would definitely recommend Pescatore Mechanical Contractors to others!

I found these guys through Angie's list. They were responsive and came out and unclogged my shower drain when they said they would.
The only thing I had to chase them for was the bill, LOL! I reminded them to charge me last night and got the bill this morning. Their pricing seems very fair to me.
I will definitely call them next time I need a plumber!

I called the plumber in the morning and left a message in order to have the toilet replaced. He called me back within 2 hours and send a plumber within 15 minutes. I paid $250, all inclusive even a water line. Before this installation, I was waiting to have a plumber whom Lowe's was supposed to send install the toilet for more than 10 days. I even paid $200 plus fee for permit but nothing was done. This plumbing company is my savior!

I don't really know anything about fixing stuff around the house, which probably makes me a crappy homeowner. But hey, such is life, and a homeowner I am nonetheless. Luckily, the folks at Crescent Plumbing exist to make my failure as a handyman a little less visible.
We actually inherited their service as a result of our previous homeowners, and I've had to call them out twice, but each time, it was pretty great. The main experience i had with them was when our sewer line completely backed up and no water would drain. Not only did they have someone answer the phone on a Sunday afternoon, but they dispatched a couple of folks over to fix the problem, who did so cheerily, even though it was a pretty gnarly problem that took lots of effort to fix. It wasn't necessarily cheap, but I feel a lot better that there's 24-hour service out there to fix stuff that breaks in my house.
Having lived in other places and used other similar companies to service homes and apartments, getting 24-hour emergency service that is convenient and reliable is fairly rare, but Crescent saved my bacon.
I'm a little surprised to see the negative reviews (some are fairly old) on Yelp for these guys, as in a handful interactions over a year or so, they've never been anything but excellent and pleasant, from the office staff to the actual employees. I've had grumpy fix-stuff-that-broke employees, and these definitely weren't them.
