My landlady hired them to fix our toilet. They earn some stars for showing up and giving a good recommendation (replace, don't repair) which my landlady ignored.
There were some problems with communication; they showed up too early one morning without calling (even though they had been asked to) and my landlady had to send them away to come back later.
They fixed the toilet so that it doesn't leak into the basement (though it does leak internally a bit, activating the refill even when we haven't flushed - but that may be due to the toilet's age). The plumber did make an effort to prevent the bathmat from getting dirty and cleaned up after himself somewhat. But after he was gone, I noticed there were pieces of broken tile, toilet ring wax, and a dark substance which was either pipe parts or dried sewage (yuck!) all over the bathroom. I had to immediately clean the whole room before it was no longer too gross to use. While I was doing that, I noticed that one of the floor tiles had been cracked, presumably when the toilet was removed and put down too quickly. That made me quite unhappy, as I myself had tiled that floor only a few months ago, at great inconvenience.
I was just looking for a company to do chimney repair on a different property, but after that traumatic experience, I've decided never to hire Big Blue (sorry).

The service and responsiveness was absolutely terrific. I found the cost to be reasonable. In fact, I had asked Greg to look at and flush out my tankless water heater. When he looked into it, he found it to be working fine and no work needed. I appreciated this honesty. I highly recommend Ostroski Plumbing.

While Dynamic hasn't done any work for me yet, I give them 5 stars for customer service. As a new homeowner, having plumbing problems can be quite daunting. When I initially called Dynamic and talked to Angel, I wasn't sure what was causing a mysterious leak from my ceiling. He advised me on the best course of action - which was to contact my sprinkler company. After that was ruled out, I had Angel come to evaluate the problem. It's not often that service companies take the time and care to give great advice - even when it may not end up with work for them. Well, I can say that I will be calling them with my next problem and spreading the word!

Consolidated Plumbing is top notch. Mitch did a bathroom remodeling job for us with Doug Rausch as contractor several years ago. They gutted our bathroom down to the studs and completely remodeled it. Mitch's plumbing work was a work of art, and Doug's carpentry and tile work was excellent. We had done a previous bathroom remodel with another company, and Consolidated was far superior. We have made use of their plumbing services with Tommy since then, and we've been very happy with Tommy's work and Jodi's front office services. Thank you Consolidated!!!

Heard of this company on a neighborhood feed. Spoken of very highly by several folks. Had a plumbing issue and called Monday morning. Dave showed up the next day. Replaced a 26 y/o frozen shower valve with a brand new one and was here and gone in 45 minutes. As nice and knowledgeable a fellow as you could want. Just got the bill. Very fair.
1) Quick response
2) Super qualified and nice guy-tradesman
3) Immediate and perfect repair
4) Completely reasonable bill
Am I missing something?

Unfortunately this review is not based on Scott's work. Rather the fact that I couldn't even get the work done. I emailed to set up a time for Scott to do an estimate. He was quick to respond and asked if he could come by that afternoon. He had about 30 free minutes and I didn't want to miss the opportunity. I took some time off work and he arrived right on time. We went through my plumbing needs, he took his time and offered several suggestions. He took about 45 minutes to go over everything. After each suggestion he would finish with I'll include that in my estimate.
I never got the estimate. Even after a friendly reminder that the work we were looking to get does was not an emergency, but something we wanted to get done fairly soon. No response. Nothing.
Despite the speediness of his initial response, this was a waste of both my time and Scott's.

It's a great feeling when you realize you've found your plumber. Brian and his crew are extremely professional, including knowledgeable, polite and prompt. We used Brian at our old house for our clanking pipes, which he resolved effortlessly. At our new place, he's been a dream in fixing the crazy noise issues to our newly installed second floor laundry (I was certain the washer was going to fall out of the wall) , fixing a leak in the kitchen prep sink (due to unfinished construction), installing my husband's European espresso machine, and in general resting our minds over the health of the plumbing in our home. Oh yes, they really do remove their shoes! As far as pricing goes, to us, Mr. Damaso is worth it because we know he will fix the problem within the quoted price.

We hired Mario last summer to replace our forced hot water boiler which was very old. He was fast to respond, stopping by within a few days to take a look at our current boiler setup, and offered recommendations on whether a 90% efficiency cast iron or 92% stainless steel boiler was better. In the end, we went with his recommendation of the 90% efficiency Weil Mclain boiler since cast iron maintains heat better. He was fast to email his itemized quotes by email and helpful to give us separate cost-saving options. His quote wasn't the cheapest, but it was reasonable, and Mario did almost all of the work himself (with just 1 helper) and his quote included city permits.
We also hired Mario to replace the 3 toilets in the house, 2 vanities, some shower fixtures, and install our new washer and gas dryer (the new orientation of the dryer needed changes to the gas line). Again, he was fast on his work, and even helped us get rid of 2 toilets.
Mario can seem a little impatient at times, but this is because he is often direct to the point. We haven't had a problem with the work Mario has done for us since summer, and Mario promised he'd be back to fix anything if there was a problem. We would not hestitate to hire Mario again.

I just used ECF P&H for a variety of plumbing issues - fix tub drain, fix hot water valve in shower, install new faucet, install new toilet, line to new steam dryer. I found everyone from the office staff to the plumber and apprentice to be friendly, professional, and responsive. In addition, I thought the team that did the work was efficient. We had a minor, sporadic issue that arose after they left but found they were again very friendly, responsive, and took care of the issue to my satisfaction.

I have used Hinchey Brothers for many years (15+) and my mother uses them as well. They do our plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and have replaced our water heater and furnace as well as kitchen and bathroom plumbing.. They are careful, responsive trustworthy and very easy to deal with. I also count on them for referrals to related vendors (such as chimney work.) They are totally reliable and I recommend them without reservation.

I feel very happy and relieved that I found Jonny. As a new homeowner, I was very anxious when my water heater started leaking. I immediately started looking online for a plumber including Angie's List, Home Advisor, Yelp, and the Home Depot installers. Some plumbers never called back, others gave me expensive quotes. Another wanted $132 dollars just to come over and assess what was happening. A friend recommended I call Jonny and I am glad I did. He was traveling but I was able to communicate with him via WhatsApp and show him the property. Jonny was very clear about his availability, showed up when he said he would, and best of all he gave me a very fair price. He was also willing to meet up at Home Depot so that I could make sure I chose the WiFi water heater I wanted. He was very patient while I had a last-minute moment of indecision while deciding on the size of the tank. The install looks great. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and call him back if I have any other issues. I always look at reviews and recommendations when making decisions, and I hope this review helps you feel confident in hiring Jonny.

All workmanship was top notch and very professional .If you need service or a new boiler these are the people to call. Thanks to all the crew and the girl who called from their office you are the best

When one needs a plumber, one expects a prompt call back after leaving a message, a clear answer on whether somebody can come by and when, a clear explanation of what is broken and what needs to be done to fix it, a quick conclusion of the work and a detailed invoice.
Homestead delivered all that and more - my thanks go to them for doing all the right things. Will definitely call them back if my burner or water heater act up.

I called Welch Brothers to replace a dishwasher and garbage disposal. Derrick (I hope I got the name right) came out and provided excellent service. Everything looks great, he described everything he was doing, answered all questions, cleaned everything up when done - very thorough, professional job. They will be my choice the next time I need anything done.

I've used Barrell Plumbing at the recommendation of the property management company that manages my condo. They are expensive, but they are willing to answer any questions to make sure that you understand what is going on and what is needed.
8 years ago, I had them replace an old shower valve in my ancient bathroom. They got it fixed and it's been working fine ever since.
More recently, I had a leak from the separate tub valve. They suggested replacing the tub valve with a combined shower and tub valve. It didn't make sense to me so I called them and they were super patient and willing to answer every question that I had. I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be trying to match the old subway tile and that we explored all options.
The repair was scheduled and the plumber was able to stop the leak. I didn't have to go through the expensive replacement of the shower/tub valve. I'm still not 100% convinced that i need to tie the shower and the tub valve together, but they were responsive and informative.

Response time was fantastic, and it was very easy to set up our appointment to get a new sink installed and a leaky toilet fixed. Jim arrived not just on time, but a little bit early, and he worked diligently until the job was complete. Friendly service, too. Everything looks great, and we are very pleased with how it all turned out. Would definitely recommend Pescatore Mechanical Contractors to others!

This business is phenomenal, thanks to the help I've received and the great install they've delivered. I had reached out to Patrick through a family friend (had a similar install performed), as we were seeking options to replace a 30 year old boiler. Prior to then, I reached out to numerous businesses and most business never responded back. Patrick came out the following day, assessed the situation and provided the quote onsite. The team, led by Frank, came out the following week to perform the install. As for the install itself, special kudos to Frank and his team, they came out and completed the job in two days. I can tell they're passionate about what they do and the quality of the work certainly shows throughout. I'll be reaching out to them in the near future for additional HVAC work and the annual maintenance. Thank you again gentlemen!
