BB came in to install a new water heater and we found a problem with the floor once the old one was out. I was SURE I was going to spend the weekend without hot water and need to call a carpenter. BB sent a second plumber to help, got the OK from their office and fixed the problem themselves! They let me know what was going on the whole time, let me chose what happened and then hustled to get it done in an afternoon. It turned out slightly more expensive than the quote, but they dealt with several unexpected issues and put in extra time and effort to get everything done in one day. I was happy to pay a little bit more and have the whole thing taken care of. Hard to ask for more and the install turned out great!

Mike is the best! Leave a message and gets back to you right away. He's the best deal around. Only works in East Cambridge and only does certain jobs.

We have used Ostroski Plumbing a couple of times and will definitely continue to contact them whenever we have plumbing issues.  Price is very reasonable and they are very responsive.  Their work is thorough and they really know what they're doing.

Dynamic was excellent. I had a leaking, broken garbage disposal.  They were able to come out within the hour and immediately installed a new one.  From the time I called to the time I had a new working disposal was only 2 hours!  Fantastic.  And since I was a new customer, they discounted the job. Will definitely call Dynamic again.

Absolutely, hands down the best plumber and one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. Jodie, office manager, is on top of everything.  Every phone call is returned promptly.  I manage a large museum-lots of plumbing-and Consolidated Plumbing has been a pleasure to work with.  And I've been working with them for years.  Never a disappointment.  Can't say enough nice things about this company.

Heard of this company on a neighborhood feed.  Spoken of very highly by several folks.  Had a plumbing issue and called Monday morning.  Dave showed up the next day.  Replaced a 26 y/o frozen shower valve with a brand new one and was here and gone in 45 minutes.  As nice and knowledgeable a fellow as you could want.  Just got the bill.  Very fair.

Recommended by a local chimney sweep who said they use Scott Robillard. Needed repair of a burst pipe. Left a message, and was called promptly back. Scott was courteous on the phone, scheduled a time for service, and gave me a 'ballpark' estimate for anticipated work.

Kyle showed up on time for the repair. He located the pipe quickly (behind a wall), and talked me through the repair. He cleaned up nicely afterwards, and tested everything out. Before he left, he gave me suggestions for insulating the pipe area that froze. The actual cost was lower than expected.

I'm dubious about using repair professionals without a referral, and I felt reassured with Scott and Kyle. I'm happy to recommend them.

We recently moved into a condo in Tewksbury already equipped with a washer and an electric dryer. We brought with us our own high efficiency washer and gas dryer and wanted them installed. After scouring various websites and reading countless reviews and consulting colleagues, we contacted Damaso Plumbing and Heating to come out to view the job and provide a separate quote for each appliance.

Brian was very polite from the initial contact through completion and invoicing of the job. He came out to view the job and assess what was required since we had an existing gas line in the house just not one that ran to the room where the dryer would be installed.  He actually removed his shoes before entering our home. I appreciated his demonstration of respect for our property.

Within a week from viewing the job we received a detailed quote and ultimately decided to have Damaso Plumbing and Heating.  We opted to have them come out on two separate occasions to perform the work -install the washing machine and dryer to include a new gas line to the dryer.

Brian is very busy and worked with us accommodating our schedules.  He made all the necessary arrangements for the permit and town inspection.

You may pay a little bit more with Damaso Plumbing and Heating but you get what you pay for with Brian, the consummate professional.  Brian is honest, polite, prompt, showing up when he says he will, works efficiently, comes prepared so you're not paying his time to go back and forth for supplies, meticulous cleaning up after himself and willing to work and think outside the box to find innovative solutions.

We hired Mario to install a new heating system at our home in Dec. 2015.  He was very thorough with his work and very professional.  The job was finished in a timely manner without any issues.  We are extremely happy with our new hot water heater and boiler!  We highly recommend Panza Plumbing & Heating!!

These guys are great!  Fixed what was wrong and didn't try to get me to make an expensive replacement when it wasn't needed. Showed up within the two hour window they promised too. Great job, guys!

I'm very glad to have found Hinchey Brothers Plumbing, thanks to other positive yelp reviews. I've had them out for 2 projects now. One was a simple outdoor spigot replacement, and the other was a (semi emergency) bathroom remodel. With short notice, Mike came in 1st thing in the morning to remove a leaking toilet flange, the vanity, and capped the pipes. After the new tile floor was laid down, he came back right one time, and worked hard throughout the day to replace the toilet and flange, replace all the shut-offs in the bathroom, put the vanity back in, and even replace the main water shutoff with a new ball valve. THANK YOU MIKE for your hard work! And Thank you Hinchey Brothers for being able to come out and get my tenants bathroom back to them as fast as possible.  As a new homeowner, I'm thrilled to know you're close by.

Bill at Hinchey just replaced 2 boilers and 2 hot water tanks in my house. His work was impeccable! Meticulous! I'm beyond impressed with the quality of the installation. Ken, the owner worked closely with me to ensure the project fell within the guidelines in order to receive the MA Save rebates. A+ experience once again.

I feel very happy and relieved that I found Jonny. As a new homeowner, I was very anxious when my water heater started leaking. I immediately started looking online for a plumber including Angie's List, Home Advisor, Yelp, and the Home Depot installers. Some plumbers never called back, others gave me expensive quotes. Another wanted $132 dollars just to come over and assess what was happening. A friend recommended I call Jonny and I am glad I did. He was traveling but I was able to communicate with him via WhatsApp and show him the property. Jonny was very clear about his availability, showed up when he said he would, and best of all he gave me a very fair price. He was also willing to meet up at Home Depot so that I could make sure I chose the WiFi water heater I wanted. had them put in a new boiler and oil tank they did such a great job. I could not believe how quiet and efficient they were  they left the place cleaner than when they came. All workmanship was top notch and very professional .If you need service or a new boiler these are the people to call. nonresponsive, came saw said we need to schedule the work since 2 months have passed, I called over 10 times, the phone number is a messaging service, take note said will call me back, no one called. again and again.

Filled boiler to excess to check for cracks
Pulled apart gas jet etc cleaned and vacuumed
Checked all electronics

I had to find a new HVAC person to get a furnace inspection and to check my TP valve on my water heater since my last guy was no longer in business. I went with Welch Brothers based on just reviews on Yelp and I'm glad I did. I made an on line request for service and even though I didn't receive a confirmation call or email, they adjusted their schedule to accommodate me.

Jim was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me simplistically. When he measured the pressure from the water heater, he made recommendations on how to handle the increased water pressure along with a quote for the parts and labor. He installed a new TP valve in the meantime to see if that will fix the water drainage but didn't push the recommendation unless the new TP valve didn't fix it.

I would definitely go back to them for future service!

I bought my house in Somerville 4 years ago and filled it with tenants. When the heater broke on a weekend, I was up a creek - so I called about twenty plumbers, and Barrell were the only ones who were willing to schlep out here.

They are pricey, I agree. This is not my problem with Barrell plumbing & heating.

They did fix my heater in a hurry, and I give them points for availability and being willing to schlep out here, even if I am being charged ~$100/hr of their driving time. I asked the guy at the time if I needed to replace my heater - and he said it was fine, its not an old heater, it should work great.

However, my problem is that my heater broke again the next year. And the next. And each time I called Barrell plumbing, because workmen with any sense of professionalism should warranty their own work. Each time they schlepped out here, charging me ~$100/hr of their driving time, and decided that they needed to replace a different part of my perfectly fine, not too old heater. Each time I wound up paying them over $400.

This year my heater is broken AGAIN, and after having Barrell plumbing come out to look at it for the last three years, I refuse to be suckered by this company again. After having the SAME professionals come look at my heater three years running, work on it, and then tell me everything is fine, I must believe that their shoddy workmanship has contributed to my heater failing every year for the past 3 years.

Barrell Plumbing gets 2 stars because they WILL 'fix' your heater in a hurry. But if you want your heater to stay fixed, I do hope you get someone else to look at it after they do.

Air Conditioner repair.   They charged 5 1/2 hours to replace a condenser fan motor (over three hours travel time to pick up motor).  Three months later it failed, they told me there is no warranty and that they don't make things like they used to.
